Everything seemed like a normal and beautiful day in the jungle. Ember climbed up a tree and was about to grab a mango that was hanging on the branch. Suddenly, Danny came swinging over on the vine and snatched it away before she could grab it.
"Hey! That was my lunch!" Ember shouted, annoyed at her friend.
Danny let go of the vine and did a backflip before landing on the nearest branch. He laughed before smirking down at Ember as he teased, "You want it? Come get it!"
He then grabbed another vine and began to swing away. Ember jumped to the next branch and said, "Oh I'll tell you who's gonna get it!"
Danny began to tree surf with Ember surfing right behind him. He spun around and dodged her hands, keeping the fruit away from her. He then used his foot to spin her around and then surfed through a tunnel of branches.
As he came out, Ember made herself visible and stood in front of him. Danny however, rolled the fruit between her legs, flipped over her, and changed into his ghost form before taking off into the air, grabbing the mango as he left.
Ember growled and flew after him as she said, "I can't imagine Fright Knight pulling this kind of stunt when he was head of the family."
"True, but I'm not Fright Knight." Danny said.
Inside the tree house, Sam was drawing a portrait of a woman riding a vespa. As she continued to draw, Danny and Ember suddenly came wrestling through and crashed right into Sam knocking her and her picture over.
Danny changed back into his human form as he pinned Ember down. The musical ghost suddenly looked at the mango and said, "Oh man! It's bruised."
Sam groaned as she sat up, "Then I'm in good company."
Danny walked over and helped Sam stand back up as he apologised, "Sorry about that Sam."
"Don't worry I'm fine. One can only expect these kinds of hazards when married to the king of the jungle." Sam said smiling.
He picked up Sam's picture and sat it back up right on the A-frame. He looked at it and then asked, "So, who's this?"
"That's my grandmother when she was younger." She answered as Ember passed her back the charcoal.
"She looks like you." Danny complimented.
Sam smiled and said, "She often used to say I looked like her. My parents died when I was twelve and so my grandmother raised me before she passed on a few months ago, before I came to Africa."
"Why do you draw her?" Ember asked.
"Well….it makes me feel like she's watching over me." Sam answered.
Suddenly, a strong gust of wind came rushing through the window and blew the drawing over. Vortex then flew inside the window and said, "Phantom, you might want to come see this."
Sensing there was something wrong, Danny followed Vortex outside, climbing up the branches to the top of the trees.
"Danny! What's up there?" Sam called out.
Danny stood on top of a branch besides Vortex and they both could see a hurricane was coming. Danny said, "Trouble."

THE LEGEND OF PHANTOM: Pariah's Revenge
It wasn't long until the storm had begun. Animals were scattering, seeking shelter to save themselves from the deadly weather. Danny stood on one of the branches and looked at the sight of the caves.
He turned and looked at his family and called out, "Not too much further. Once we're in the caves, we'll be safe."
They continued, until they came up to a huge gap and below them, the river and thanks to the storm, it was producing some dangerous currents.
Sam looked at the river and asked, "We're not gonna try and swim across that thing, are we?"
Danny shook his head and said, "No, but we can't fly through this storm. It's too risky now."
"So, what do we then?" She asked.
They suddenly heard Nocturne groaning with content and turned to see him, scratching against a tree. Thanks to his size and strength, the tree fell and landed right across the gap, creating a bridge for them to cross the river.
"Good thinking Nocturne!" Ember praised her friend and all of them began to cross the river.
Nocturne was the last to cross over their makeshift bridge before it finally collapsed under pressure and fell into the raging river waters below. All the ghosts, Sam and Tucker then followed Danny as they began to climb the cliff.
Pandora nearly slipped down, but Danny quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her up. Pandora smiled at her son and said, "Thank you Phantom."
Danny smiled back, but then it dropped as he looked up and saw they were still a long way climb to the caves. He sighed and then said, "Fright Knight would've had us in the caves by now."
Pandora caressed her son's cheek and said with confidence, "You'll get us there dear."
Danny nodded and then went over to help some of the other ghosts who were struggling to climb up the rocks.
"Is everything alright Pandora?" Sam asked, concerned about Danny.
"All his life, Danny wanted to make Fright Knight proud of him and now, he's leader of this family, he's afraid he won't measure up to his father." Pandora answered.
"Oh really? He hasn't said anything to me." Sam said.
Pandora smiled gently and then said, "Oh he won't. But I know. I'm his mother after all."
Danny was the first to arrive at the top where the main cave was. He went inside first, to make sure it was safe for the rest of his family to come in. He was unaware however, that a shadowy figure had watched him enter the cave.
The halfa felt a presence and turned but saw no-one there. Shrugging it off, he went back outside to help his family.
Nocturne was having a challenging time climbing. He latched some of his tentacles onto a branch and pulled himself up, "There are five thousand muscles in my tentacles…."
He then yelped as he felt a slight pain in them. He then finished, "And I just strained half of them!"
Tucker pulled out his torch as he, Sam, Tucker, Pandora, Ember, and some of the other ghosts entered the cave.
Sam looked at the cave in amazement, "Oh! This is a perfect sanctuary from the storm."
"Absolutely Sam!" Tucker agreed.
Ember scoffed, "Their excited about a big hole in the ground. I'll never fully understand humans."
Skulker, Technus and Youngblood looked at the continuing caves in front of them in excitement. Youngblood was the first to speak, "Check out this massive hole dudes!"
"I wonder how far back it goes." Technus wondered.
Clockwork however warned them, "Don't let me catch you boys wondering off into those caves."
All three boys groaned and said, "Yes sir."
Outside, Dora was struggling to climb up and she had Dani holding on to her back. She grabbed a branch but then it broke. She and Dani screamed as they slid down the hill. Dora managed to grab onto another branch, but Dani fell off her and back and began to fall towards the raging waters below.
Danny acted quickly. He changed into his ghost form and dived down, grabbing onto a large leaf, and using it to surf down the side. Dani continued to scream as she slid down the hill. Everyone watched with fear and worry as Dani slid right off the edge of a rock and was about to plummet into the water.
Danny immediately jumped off and grabbed Dani before she could hit the water with one hand and used his other hand to hold one side of the large leaf and his feet to hold the other side, using it as a parasail.
He carefully placed Dani on his back as the wind flew them back towards the rocks. Everyone cheered and sighed with relief as they saw Danny climbing back up towards them with Dani safe and sound.
"You know? I wasn't worried. I knew Phantom would save that kid…" Ember started talking to Skulker.
Meanwhile when everyone wasn't looking, Technus started heading off deeper into the caves despite being told not to by Clockwork. He suddenly heard something and before he could do anything, two large hands snatched him away and a small growl could be heard.
Danny finally made it back up and handed Dani back to Dora, who hugged her daughter with relief.
Dora then hugged Danny and said, "Thank you Phantom. Thank you so much."
"You're welcome." Danny said as he changed back into his human form.
Nocturne pushed himself up from the ledge and then flopped down with a sigh of relief, "Made it."
"Let's get out of the rain Nocturne." Danny said and then followed the others inside.
Nocturne got up and began to follow, but as he tried getting through the hole, his back part wouldn't budge at all. He groaned as he tried to pull himself through, but no matter what he did, he couldn't budge.
"I'm stuck! Couldn't we have picked a more giant ghost friendly environment?" Nocturne whined.
"Can't you just phase inside dude?" Youngblood asked.
"I'm a bit drained from all the climbing and going through the storm." Nocturne answered.
Sam placed some wood in a spot and then Tucker lit a fire, shedding some light in the place and drying everyone off from the dreary weather.
Danny smiled as Dani flew over and sat on top of his shoulders. Pandora sat next to her son and said with a warm smile, "You see? You got us here safely. Fright Knight couldn't have done any better."
Danny smiled at his mother. Clockwork even patted his shoulder and said, "He would've been proud as you as we are how you guided your family to safety from this storm."
Skulker then noticed that his friend was missing and began calling out, "Technus? Tech?"
He turned to everyone and asked, "Hey, has anyone seen Technus?'
Everyone shrugged and even looked around and noticed the tech-loving ghost was indeed no-where to be found. Johnny-13 asked with confusion, "Isn't he always with you?"
Skulker answered with slight panic, "Yeah. He's always with me! So where is he?"
Clockwork placed a hand on the young ghost's shoulder and said, "Skulker, calm down. He probably went exploring the caves…even though I told him not to."
"No way! Technus wouldn't go anywhere without me. I'm telling you; something is wrong." Skulker said, still panicking.
Danny then said, "Don't worry. I'll find him. I'm sure he's okay."
He handed Dani to Sam and said, "I'll be right back."
"Okay. Just be careful." Sam said, concerned for Technus and hoped her husband will find him.
Danny continued to explore the caves, looking for any sign of Technus. He changed into his ghost form and then used his hand to light up the place so he could see better. As he continued to walk on, he stepped on something.
He looked down and saw it was some old bones. He looked ahead and saw there were, multiple bones of different animals scattered everywhere. Behind him, something was moving swiftly and silently and swore, he could hear some heavy footsteps.
It seems, he and his family were not the only ones taking shelter in these caves.
Nocturne was still stuck in the entrance of the cave. He suddenly felt something hard hit his behind, causing him to yelp.
"Well, in case anyone's wondering, it's starting to hail!' Nocturne whined.
Meanwhile, Tucker was busy telling scary stories to some of the ghost children around the campfire. Well…trying at least, but the children just yawned in boredom.
"And then, they opened the basement door and saw it…THE PDA OF DOOM!" Tucker shouted and waved his hands to try and look scary.
Sam walked up and asked Youngblood, "Let me guess? Scary stories by Tucker?"
Youngblood yawned with a nod and then asked, "Are all his stories about his PDA?"
Sam answered, "Pretty much."
"Oh no! This is bad!" Kitty suddenly shouted as she saw something on the ground.
All the other ghosts came to look and suddenly, all of them began to panic. Sam walked up to Pandora and asked as she saw on the ground was a large footprint, belonging to a heavy boot, "Pandora, what's going on?"
"Pariah Dark." Pandora answered, looking down at the footprint.
"Who?" Sam asked.
Pandora answered again and then began to explain, "Pariah Dark. He was a member of our family long ago. Back when Phantom was just a child…"
FLASHBACK
The ghost family ran off in fear from Pariah Dark, a large ghost wearing black and silver armour, a black cloak, and a green sword by his side. His face was pale white, had a red outline to it, two horns on top of his head along with a flaming green crown, a black eyepatch covering one of his eyes, the other eye a black scar across it and he had long shaggy hair down the back and an Egyptian goatee on his chin.
Pariah Dark roared with rage as he punched and hit some of the male ghosts. The female ghosts stayed in the trees and held their children close to keep them safe from the madman as he held a ghost in a headlock.
"Pariah would fight for any reason and anyone."
"Pariah! Get away from him!" Fright Knight ordered.
"Whatever you say Fright Knight." Pariah said with a dark grin and let the ghost go. "I was looking for a bigger challenge anyway."
Fright Knight jumped down and knew he was going to have to fight Pariah. The two pulled out their swords and began to clash against each other. Pandora watched in horror and fear for her husband.
The two of them were equally strong. Fright Knight managed to push Pariah's sword out of his hands and then sweep his legs, knocking him down before placing him in a headlock.
"Had enough?" Fright Knight growled.
Pariah growled back and then Fright Knight released him, the matter dropped. But Pariah wasn't beaten yet.
He picked up a large branch and snuck up behind the leader of the ghost family.
"Fright Knight!" Pandora called out, but it was too late.
Fright Knight groaned as he was hit in the back and knocked down. Pariah picked up his sword and was about to finish him off once and for all when suddenly, a coconut was thrown right at his face and then several more were thrown, causing the ghost to drop his sword and hold his nose in pain.
He looked up and saw the one who threw the coconuts was none other than eight-year-old Danny Phantom, standing on one of the large tree branches with Ember, Skulker and Technus.
Skulker, Technus and Ember laughed and then Skulker cheered on, "Nice shot Phantom."
"You halfa-freak! You broke my nose!" Pariah roared and was about to go and attack Danny, but Fright Knight intercepted and punched him right in the face, sending Pariah falling down the hill and onto the ground.
Fright Knight raised his sword and stabbed into the ground before demanding, "Pariah Dark, you're no longer part of the family! Now leave and never return!"
Pariah glared at him and sneered, "You won't be around forever Fright Knight. This family will be mine."
Pariah Dark then flew off to live out his banishment. Danny flew down and stood next to Fright Knight, checking to see if he was okay.
Fright Knight however looked down at him and said, "I protect this family. You shouldn't have interfered."
Danny looked down sadly. He was only trying to help. Danny then looked down at the footprint left behind by Pariah Dark….
Back in the present, Danny finally saw the footprint and instantly recognised it, "Pariah Dark."
He turned around and suddenly, standing before him roaring in rage was none other than Pariah Dark himself.
