While the infernal alarm still rang, Jazz came into the main area with Lancex and Sari in tow. Sentinel tried not to reel at seeing the human. And while Jazz took his appointed place near Ultra Magnus, Lancex took what he felt was his appointed place next to Optimus. Optimus blushed a bit, but not as fiercely as other times. Optimus did his best to hide his spark's desire for the bot now standing next to him. But Magnus, being the ever observant bot, caught the blush and his optics narrowed. He wasn't sure what this was all about, but he had other pressing matters before he could get to that. "Tell me, where is the All Spark?" Ultra Magnus demanded to know.
Optimus wanted to answer, but Lancex but in. "You mean that big glow ball cube thing that Megatron wanted?" Lancex asked with little respect for Ultra Magnus as Lancex didn't trust the bot.
"First off, Megatron doesn't exist anymore. Neither do the cons" Ultra Magnus replied, not showing his surprise to hearing the bot knew of Megatron. Being younger and only having heard stories of the evil Megatron, both were a bit shocked Lancex knew of the bot, as not all knew. "Second of all, yes, it is bright glowing ball in a cube."
Lancex answered nonchalantly with "oh that thing…I blew it to smithereens to stop Megatron from taking it." Magnus glared at the bot. "It's possibly in itty bitty pieces all over this planet and then some." Jazz was shocked while Ultra Magnus and Sentinel were shocked and angry. Lancex explained about Megatron being around here and desperately wanting the all spark. Ultra Magnus once again blurted out that Megatron and the Decepticons didn't exist so they couldn't possibly be after it.
"Yeah…the cons no longer exist" Sentinel yelled, nearly charging at Lancex. Lancex glared at the oafish bot. With that glare, Sentinel grew even more angry and tried to grab Lancex's sword, having quickly approached the bot, with no idea just how dangerous Lancex could be. But before Sentinel could reach Lancex, the bot vanished. The others were stunned.
And just as quickly as he had vanished, Lancex reappeared, this time behind Sentinel and with Lancex's sword draping across Sentinel's neck in a dangerous manner. "Anyone ever teach you it is never good to underestimate a bot?" Lancex hissed. Not liking the situation, Magnus reached out to calm the boarish Sentinel down, which didn't get rid of the danger but did decrease it. After a bit longer, Lancex finally decided to sheath his weapon and join Optimus and the others. Magnus and the others just looked at Optimus.
"I can take you to the battle site, it you wish, Ultra Magnus" Optimus annouced. Magnus nodded and ordered Optimus to do so, while Jazz would watch the others. Sentinel had wanted to stay behind but then he didn't really want to be near Lancex after that. Well, at least not at this time. Optimus, who had been holding Sari, handed her off to Bee and then headed out. This was so not Optimus' day.
