Dipper, Mabel, Grunkle Stan, Great Uncle Ford, and Soos were all waiting patiently for a commercial for an upcoming reboot of "Ducktective".

"Can't wait to see this new interpretation of my favorite characters." Said Grunkle before he munched on some popcorn.

The commercial began as the narrator spoke.

"See Ducktective as you've never seen him before."

a mallard with a tiny deer hunter's hat appeared on screen.

"What the--The original Ducktective was a white calling duck! Why did they make him a mallard?!"

"Oh relax, Grunkle Stan; the species of the duck doesn't change the story." Mabel said reassuring her great uncle.

"Join him along with his sidekick and best friend, Steve the owl!" Said narrator.

"They made Steve the penguin an owl?!" Mabel fumed.

"Okay, yeah, that DOES change the story." said Dipper

"This whole thing has ruined my childhood!" Shouted Grunkle Stan.

"Grunkle Stan, the original Ducktective came out in four years ago." Said Dipper.

The Constable then appeared on screen.

"Lets treat everyone fairly and equally; unlike the American political system."

"Oh, and now they're getting into politics?!" Raged Grunkle Stan.

"Grunkle Stan, Ducktective has ALWAYS been political." Said Mabel.

"Oh, now your defending this? What are you, a robot?" Grunkle Stan said folding his arms.

"I'm your great niece!" Said Mabel.

"I'm personally just sick and tired of reboots in general. There's nothing new or original on these days." Said Soos.

"Oh so now YOU'RE getting political?!" Said Mabel.

"I have no idea what's going on." Said Great Uncle Ford in confusion.

Dipper stood up

"Guys, lets just wait for the reboot to come and then we can judge it."

"Okay." Said everyone grumbling.

Time passed and everyone watched the reboot together.

"Huh. I think we might've overreacted." Said Grunkle Stan.

"Yeah, it wasn't that bad, but not that good either." Said Mabel.

"I already forgot about most of it." Said Soos.

"Hows about we rewatch the original 'Ducktective' together?" Asked Dipper.

"I'm down for that." Said Great Uncle Ford.
