It was a great wedding. Cody hoped that his big brother and new sister-in-law will live the happiest life tot he fullest together. As healthy as Moxxie and Millie's relationship. standing next to a very large oak tree, Cody saw a pair of mute swans in a nearby at the reception. It was a beautiful sight to see these swans interacting and wadding side-by-side in the murky pond. To Cody, it represented how Tommy and Celeste are going to be a perfect couple later on in their future, and there was no question about that.

Suddenly, the mute swan pair wadded up to the surface, walking up to Cody slowly. Then spread their long, graceful wings out in some kind of a defense position and Cody was becoming a little scared as they were slowly walking up to him with that pose. Luckily, Tommy caught sight of this and went to his brother's aid, shooing the swans away. "Get out of here! Shoo!" Tommy said. The majestic birds did just that and backed off. "Careful, Cody." said his big brother, "swans can be mean."

"They don't look mean." the kid pointed

"Sure, they don't look menacing, but swans are one of those animals that can be cute but deadly kind. What they were showing you was their defense display. Like they were telling you to go away or back off. They can be territorial, especially when it's mating season."

"Huh."

"So you doing alright, buddy? You've been quiet since me and Celeste were made official."

"Yeah, i'm fine. Congratulations Tommy."

"Thanks Cody." the kid felt his big brother hug him with affection. "Hope you like the cake."

"I loved it."

"So is there a reason why you've been a little quiet?"

Frowning, Cody was about to say something, until Celeste came up to the brothers. "Tommy I... Oh, Je suis vraiment désolé. Was I interrupting something?"

"No, of course not, baby." Tommy said. "Saved Cody from a pair of swans about to attack him."

"Ooh. Swans are batards (bastards)."

"Oui." Tommy chuckled. "Cody's been a little quiet since the wedding."

"Oh really?" Celeste looked a little confused.

"Yeah. Is something bothering you Cody?"

At last, not being able to fully hide it, the boy replied: "Well you guys are married now, and will it stop you from seeing me again, Tommy?" he moved his eyes downward to the right. "I don't want to get in-between you guys or ruin anything going on. Gre, it's complicated."

"Cody, what are you talking about?" Said Tommy, looking rather confused

"You and Celeste are made for each other." Cody pointed. "And you guys won't need me in your lives."

"Ah... i see where this is going." Said Tommy. He knelt down in front of his little brother and said: "look, baby brother, just because me and Celeste are married now, doesn't mean it'll change our relation. No matter what happens, we will always, always be brothers."

Cody smiled. "But what if i talk to you guys at a bad time like, what if i get kidnapped again and Loona called you while you are on your honeymoon?"

"You're overthinking things." said Celeste. "It won't stop us from calling you on your phone from time to time. If zer is any problem, never be afraid to give us a call."

"Yeah. It's no problem. So don't ever feel left out." Tommy gave him a few gentle pats on the head. "Sure there may be honeymoons or private moments between me and Celeste, but it doesn't mean we're leaving you out of our lives."

Cody smiled. "Thanks Tommy."

"Don't mention it."

"I wish mom and dad were here to see this."

"Heh, you and me both." Tommy bowed. "I can imagine mom catching the flowers and dad enjoying the music that Loona and the guys are playing right now."

"what am I saying?" Cody thought. "Can't think about mom and dad. Don't wanna ruin the wedding for you guys."

"No it's perfectly fine." His big brother sighed. "We're both struggling to fully move on from that. I get it."

Before bedtime

Looking out the window, Cody was hearing kore of the usual ambience in this city. The next thing he saw was some weird demonic bird flying in the night sky, which amazed the kid since he had never seen a creature like that before.

"I wish i had wings." He thought to himself. "Or at least fly." Holding his stuffed pig next to him, he said: "what do you think Patrick? Should i just have wings or at least learn how to fly?" In a funny voice, he pretended to be his stuffed toy by saying in a funny gruff voice: "Nah, you can just fly Cody. Take a look at Superman and Wonder Woman. They don't have wings but they can fly." Making himself chuckle. "Oh you're right, Patrick. Wings don't mean anything." As he put his toy down, he went to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

Yawning, he got himself in bed and tucked himself under the covers. "I wish i was a bird or..." he yawned again "...or i can dly somehow." Then he drifted off into slumber.

Little did he know that someone came into his room uninvited, and it wasn't the Sandman this time. No it was someone different. Someone Cody is acquainted with.

"You look so adorable when you are in dreamland, child." Said the figure in a suave, cool voice. "Do not worry, i will help grant that wish you desire." The blue-eyed creture smiled evily and raised his right hand in front of Cody. A small blob of light shone the room the size of a basketball and it got inside Cody.

It was a rather warn sensation the boy is experiencing and he felt more relaxed than before.

"Enjoy your wish, Cody Laurent." said the suave demon as he vanished into a blob of blue light. Whatever he did to the human child, the kid was going to be in for a surprise. And not the good kind of surprise.

The Next Morning

waking up, Cody noticed something. His bed was bigger than it should be. Or... is it becasue he is... smaller right now? He got out of bed and saw that he had bird feet instead of regular feet. Then he lokked at his hands which have been turned into feathery wings. He rushed to the bathroom to look st himelf in the mirror and, being too short, he hovered on the counter to see that he had been turned into a falcon!
