AN: Gotta love it when there's an issue and your shit gets deleted and then you forget about your story for a long time.
Chapter 6
Takato, no, wait, his name was Shirou, right? He sat up with a start, his head was pounding, and he could have sworn he heard someone talking. He couldn't figure out why, but it felt like maybe some of his memories had returned, but he couldn't rest, he needed to get out of there right now. He stumbled to his feet and saw an odd necklace. He picked it up gingerly, not knowing whose it was. Maybe a club member dropped it. He would give it to Taiga the next time he saw her. His muscles felt like he just went a round with Leomon still he preferred that over being stabbed. He needed to run, there was no telling when that crazy man would return. As Shirou stumbled out of the room, clutching the strange necklace, he felt a cold sweat break out across his forehead. The images that flashed in his head were disorienting, but they also filled him with a sense of dread. He needed to get home to Guilmon and make sure everything was alright.
He moved through the empty halls of the school, his mind racing. The encounter with the two mysterious man with the spear had rattled him, and the sudden influx of memories had left him with more questions than answers. Who were those people? Why did he have memories of fighting with Guilmon? And most importantly, what did all of this mean for his life now? As he reached the school's exit, Shirou's phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out to see a message from Issei, thanking him for the help with the heater. Shirou forced a smile, appreciating the normalcy of the message amidst the chaos in his mind. He quickly typed a reply, assuring Issei that it was no problem, and then pocketed his phone.
As he made his way down the familiar streets, the weight of the strange necklace in his hand served as a constant reminder of the surreal events. He couldn't shake the feeling that this was only the beginning of something much larger. Reaching the house, he quickly unlocked the door and slipped inside, his eyes immediately scanning for any sign of Guilmon.
"Guilmon, are you here?" He called out, trying to keep his voice steady.
The sound of heavy footsteps and Guilmon's familiar red figure emerged from the living room. "Takatomon! You're back I saw Jeri! Wait…what's wrong? You look hurt!"
"I'm fine buddy where's Sakura?" Shirou looked around still on edge over the whole experience.
"She went home after bringing some food next door to our friends. Don't worry I hid as asked. Jeri was here!" Guilmon exclaimed. Shirou felt a headache come on from the name and saw a blurry image of a girl with a sock puppet. He was about to ask more until his bounded field went off and instantly he pushed Guilmon out of the way as a red spear shattered his table.
"Damn kid you make me wonder if I lost my touch." The spearman from earlier stood up. "Didn't take you as one to play with toys though? Guess everyone has some..." Before he could finish his sentence Guilmon slammed into him with a growl.
"GET AWAY FROM TAKATOMON!" Guilmon growled.
"Guilmon don't! We need to get out of here!" Shirou started dragging an angry Guilmon away as the Spearman groaned and started to stand.
[
"Well that happened, ugh what the fuck was that a golem?" Lancer winced touching his side. "Not many magus can make a golem that is capable of actually hurting a servent this just got interesting." His smile grew feral.

Shirou led Guilmon into his workshop, he could reinforce this area better in case the man followed them. He looked around for something to defend himself when he saw some cards scared on the ground. He picked one up and it said to be Power. Another said Hyper Wings.
"Hey, what are these?" Shriou whispered.
"Takatomon used them with your digivice to make Guilmon stronger," Guillmon explained sorta. Shirou stared at the cards, memories trickling in like a leaking faucet. He vaguely remembered using them with Guilmon, enhancing his partner's abilities during battles. The more he tried to recall, the more his head throbbed, but the urgency of the situation pushed the pain to the back of his mind.
"We need to get out of here, Guilmon," Shirou muttered, pocketing the two cards and grabbing his Digivice. The spearman was his biggest worry at the moment. He had no idea if he was human or even how to deal with such beings, but his instincts screamed that staying was a bad idea.
Just as he was about to grab a few more cards just in case, the workshop door was shattered, and the spearman, stepped through the wreckage, twirling his spear lazily. "Running won't help you, kid. You've already seen too much." Shirou gritted his teeth, his body tensing as he braced for a fight. But before he could react, Guilmon stepped in front of him, growling fiercely.
"No one hurts Takatomon!" Guilmon's voice echoed with a protective fervor that bolstered Shirou's courage.
The spearman smirked, clearly amused. "You're brave, I'll give you that. But bravery won't save you."
Shirou needed a plan, something to turn the tide in their favor. Then he remembered the cards. He glanced at the Digivice and the cards, realizing that they might hold the key to surviving this encounter. As Guilmon prepared to defend his partner, Shirou quickly pulled one of the cards he had out.
{Play Digimon Tamers Slash!}
"Guilmon, use this!" Shirou called out, holding up the 'Hyper Wings' card. And if on instinct yelled, "Card Slash!" The Digivice glowed, and Guilmon's form shimmered, sprouting wings. With a powerful beat, he launched himself at Lancer, who barely had time to react.
"Well, well, this just got more interesting," The spearman muttered, readying his spear.
The battle that followed was intense, Guilmon using his newfound abilities to keep the spearman on the defensive for the moment but It looked as if the spearman was starting to get the upper hand. However, Shirou knew there had to be another card or something that could help, and started looking around. He needed to help his friend, he needed to not be the one saved again. He then noticed a card that didn't look normal but as he went for it he slipped and barely caught himself. His hand grazed the magic circle under the rug and then everything went white.
"I ask you are you worthy to be my master?" A woman in a blue dress covered in armor asked.
"Master?" Shirou was dumbfounded and even the fighting had stopped. He noticed the spearman looked tense and Guilmon was confused.
"I am your servant, Saber, I have come in response to your summons. What is thy order?" Saber aknolweged. "We share a fate now and our pact has been sealed. I shall deal with these two."
"WAIT! Don't hurt Guilmon! He's my friend and was just fighting to protect me!" Shirou shouted as Saber jumped into action.
"Understood!" As Saber lunged towards the spearman, Shirou noticed she seemed to be holding something however it was invisible. Shirou quickly stepped back, getting Guilmon to come to him. The workshop was now filled with an almost palpable tension, and the air seemed to hum with power.
The spearman, Lancer, grinned, clearly excited by the challenge before him. "So, you've summoned Saber, eh? This is going to be fun." He twirled his spear and prepared to clash with Saber.
Guilmon, still confused but determined to protect Shirou, growled at the new arrival. "Takatomon, who is she?"
"I... I'm not sure," Shirou admitted, still reeling from the sudden appearance of Saber and the revelation that he had somehow summoned her. "But she seems to be on our side."

Henry was getting worried as Taiga hadn't heard from Shirou yet and it was getting late. Rika and Jeri agreed to stay one more hour and if Shirou wasn't back Taiga told them she would escort them back to their hotel. He was walking to the back door to get some fresh air when a red flash covered the door and he heard some argument but as he rushed and opened to door nothing was there.
"I should get more sleep I'm seeing things." He sighed before looking over at the other house and pausing. The boy from earlier was talking to, some kind of cosplayer in his backyard. "He really should take that kinda stuff inside." He was about to head inside until… Guilmon stepped out of the shed.
"GUILMON!"
"Hi, Henry!"
AN: DONE! I was thinking about having Guilmon transform but well then Saber wouldn't have been summoned. And of course, Guilmon not even hesitating to call out to Henry just felt in character hahaha.
