? was walking around looking at the trees around her when suddenly her eyes felt heavy so she rubbed them but when she opened them she was in a completely different place.

?: What?

She looked around trying to find her bearings when she fell backward upon seeing a ground dragon roar at her. She wasn't scared but it had shocked her for a second. Julius approached her crouching down and offering his hand. She took it as he helped her up.

Julius: Are you alright?

?: You're such a gentleman hehe.

Julius: Could I get your name?

?: Amasawa Ichika.

Julius: You garments are covered in mud. Come with me and we'll get you cleaned up.

Ichika: Sure sure.

She left with him she entered The Anastasia camp when she saw Koji and Emilia talking with Anastasia.

Ichika: Senpai!?

Ichika rushed over hugging him as Koji turned his head.

Koji: Ichika?

Julius: You know each other?

Koji: This is...

Emilia: This is Kiyotaka's little sister.

Julius: Oh? It's very nice to meet you.

Julius found the offence in last name strange but didn't question it too much.

Ichika: Oh and you are?

Emilia: I am Emilia. It's nice to meet you.

Ichika: Hehe you're stronger than you look.

Emilia: Oh thank you.

Koji: How are you here?

Ichika: No clue but it's great here.

Beatrice entered the room as Koji walked up to her lifting her up.

Koji: Good morning.

Beatrice rambled on an embarrassed tone.

Ichika: Who is this?

Koji: My daughter.

Beatrice: Stop calling Betty your daughter I suppose!

Ichika looked to Koji and Emilia.

Ichika: Oh I see.

Koji: Ichika. Me and lady Hoshin are discussing important business so if you could give us a moment.

Ichika: Okay Oniiiichannn.

She smirked leaving.

Koji: So are we in agreement with the arrangements?

Anastasia: So you will provide me with a product I can sell and in exchange we will ensure you are able to secure the rare mineral you are searching for?

Koji: Yes.

Anastasia: Let me see the quality of the product.

Koji brought out a a seat from another room. Attached to it was a seatbelt.

Koji: These ensure that in the event of a crash civilians aren't tossed around inside a carriage. It took a while to find a substance durable enough to protect someone while also remaining comfortable but you could sell this to carriage making companies making them standard practice in terms of safety.

Julius: A simple but brilliant invention.

Anastasia: There's a lot of profit to be made from this. After all people always want to stay safe.

Anastasia licks her lips.

Anastasia: Okay it's a deal.

Emilia: Great.

Koji: Are there any other matters left to discuss?

Anastasia: No. these terms are fine.

Koji: Then...

Koji walked up to Julius offering his hand to him.

Koji: Thank you for helping my younger sister.

Julius shook his hand.

Julius: Of course. I'm glad I was able to assist you.

Koji, Emilia and Beatrice left the room seeing Ichika kicking her legs as she sat down in a chair.

Koji: Ichika. Let's go.

Ichika got up. As we headed to the dragon carriage and left for Roswal Manor. When we arrived Ram, Rem and Frederick welcomed us.

Maids: Welcome back Lady Emilia. Sir Kiyotaka/Ayanotaka.

We entered the main dining area as we all sat down.

Roswal: Oh I seeeee so this is your younger sisterrrr. Well than as the sister of a man we owe so much to you you may ask us any favour.

Ichika stood up.

Ichika: Hire me to work at this mansion.

Rem giggled. Emilia smiled.

Emilia: Kiyotaka once asked the same thing.

Roswal: If that is is really what you want it can be arranged. Ram, Frederica arrange for training her.

Ram and Frederica nodded. Ichika walked with Ram and Frederica and returned wearing a maid outfit. She did a curtsy smirking.

Ichika: Well? How is it? Onichan?

Ichika smirked mischievously as Koji patted her head.

Koji: You look cute.

Ichika had so much bravado a second ago but now she was embarrassed, her cheeks red.

Ichika- He really thinks I look cute?

Garf: Yo Captain what's going on?

Garf entered the room. Kiyotaka introduced Ichika.

Ichika: Oh so you think Onichan is cool too?

Koji- She's really leaning into this little sister thing.

Garf blushed.

Garf: Huh? Don't say embarrassing things like that.

Ichika: Hehe.

Garf put his arm of Koji's shoulder.

Garf: Is that really your sis Captain? She's a strange one.

Koji: I know that.

Koji and Ichika moved to another spot.

Koji: So how long has it been since my disappearance for you?

Ichika: A few months.

Koji: I see. Are you doing alright? You were teleported to another world after all. It was jarring even for me.

Ichika: I'm just glad I got to see you again.

Koji: I see.

She hugged him.

Ichika: So how far have you gone with Lady Emilia?

Koji: That personal you know.

Ichika: Oh were you doing scandalous things?

Koji: Of course not.

Ichika: Boo that's boring.

Koji: Well deal with it.

Ichika smirked.

Ichika: So tell me about this world.

Koji: Lots of supernatural forces including magic, spirits, witches and dragons.

Ichika: Woah.

Koji: Let me show you.

He took her outside into the yard.

Koji: Donna!

He summoned a spike of earth.

Ichika: Cool!

Beatrice stepped out.

Beatrice: Kiyotaka. What are you doing out here I suppose?

Koji: Just showing Ichika some magic.

Beatrice: Do you want to to check her affinity?

Koji: Sure. That would be helpful.

Koji patted her head as she held out her finger to Ichika's head.

Ichika: Oh I'm excited.

Beatrice: Shadow Magic I suppose.

Ichika: Oh cool.

Koji: Right so mostly obscuring your opponents senses.

Ichika: Eh!? Can't it do anything cool?

Koji: If you want to learn then Beatrice would be the best teacher for that.

Beatrice smiled at being praised.

Beatrice: Betty can help you learn I suppose.

Ichika: Thanks so much I suppose.

Beatrice: You're annoying so Betty is only doing this because Kiyotaka asked I suppose.

Beatrice started by teaching Ichika Shamak.

Beatrice: You have a good pool of Mana I suppose.

Ichika: Oh? Nice. Very nice.

Koji: Well you were luckier than me. Mine is actually pathetically small. That's why I decided to be a spirit arts user that draws mana from the environment.

Ichika: I see.

Beatrice: You're picking this up very quickly I suppose.

Koji: Well she is talented.

Beatrice: A Genius huh?

Ichika had never been called a genius before so she smiled a little at this.

Ichika: What a kind Niece I have.

Beatrice: Not you as well! I'm 400 years older than both of you!

Ichika: Hai Hai Loli-Senpai.

Beatrice was fuming as Koji patted her head.

Koji: The reason she teases you is because she finds your reactions fun so as long as you don't react she'll lose interest.

Beatrice: Betty understand now I suppose.

Emilia walked out into the yard.

Emilia: Kiyotaka so have we decided on when we're going to Pristella?

Koji: Lady Anatashia will likely take some time to prepare so let's let them set the date.

Emilia: Okay.

She looked a bit anxious.

Koji: You're going to get to talk to Puck again. I guarantee it.

Emilia: Will she be coming with us?

Koji: Trust me she'll be an asset.

Emilia: Well okay.

Beatrice walked over.

Beatrice: It seems like there will be no progress with more complicated spells yet I suppose.

Koji: I see. Well that fine. There's plenty of time.

Beatrice: But she seemed to pick up healing magic well I suppose.

Koji: Good.

Koji- Any day now we'll be heading The Water Gate City Pristella. Hopefully things are quieter than normal.
