Animegamefanatic: first off, ty for all ur reviews and support! and now i will answer some of ur reviews.
yes, maybe some episodes with Splinter interacts with Mikey and the girls. Im honestly unsure who I'd have voice them, who would you think would be good fits?
oh for sure. Right now, mari doesnt really like April, but its more passive, until season 2, for sure. And yes, Cat will probably explode one day--i have great ideas for her and Mari.
as for Freaky Friday, i have this on wattpad as well. I kept writing before publishing, though, on both platforms. On Freaky Friday, this is canonically after Coackroach Terminator, so that's why i keep moving it.

The roar of the helicopter echoed above them as the turtles sped through the streets, weaving between traffic in the patrol buggy.
Donnie clutched his T-phone tightly, eyes darting between the screen and the sky. "Stay on them, Leo! The Kraang app's tripping out! It's picking up a signal from the power cell!"
Leo gritted his teeth, keeping a steady grip on the wheel. "Again? Last time that thing led us to a burrito in a microwave!"
Mari, perched on the back, raised a brow. "We're really trusting a glitchy app to track an alien power source?"
Cat, wedged between Raph and Mikey, gripped the seat tightly. "I—I think I left my stomach back there," she muttered, looking a little green.
"Left!" Donnie barked. "Left again! They're getting away—right!"
Leo jerked the wheel.
"Look out!" Raph snapped as a truck loomed ahead.
Leo and Raph split up at the last second, expertly maneuvering past a pizza delivery boy who yelped and swerved, sending a box of pepperoni and mushrooms flying. A homeless man barely looked up from his spot on the curb as the turtles zipped past.
Mari smirked, flipping her tanto in her grip. "Not bad, Leo. For once, I don't wanna kill you for your driving."
"Right!" Donnie shouted again.
Leo twisted the wheel, but the buggy skidded, spinning wildly out of control. Tires screeched, and before Donnie could react, his T-phone slipped from his grip, hurtling through the air.
"Donnie!" Cat gasped, reaching for it—
It smacked against the pavement.
Then, with an ominous crunch—
It shattered.
Silence.
The Kraang helicopter disappeared into the night, its signal blinking out of reach.
Donnie exhaled sharply. "We lost them."
Mari pinched the bridge of her nose. "Fantastic. Let's add that to the 'L' column for tonight."
Raph groaned, rubbing his temples. "I swear, if we don't find that power cell, I'm gonna—"
"Guys." Cat's voice was soft but firm as she pointed toward Donnie's cracked T-phone. "Please tell me we have another way to track them."
Donnie's eye twitched.
Mikey clapped a hand on Donnie's shoulder. "Well, bro, I hope that burrito was at least delicious."
Leo's grip on the buggy's wheel tightened. His gaze stayed locked on the darkened skyline where the Kraang helicopter had disappeared. "That's it," he declared. "We're going to see Leatherhead."
Donnie's entire body went rigid. "L-Leatherhead?" His voice cracked slightly.
Leo nodded. "He's the one who took the power cell from the Kraang. He might know where to find it."
Donnie swallowed hard. His mind flashed back to the last time they'd seen Leatherhead—the overwhelming strength, the claws, the way his massive hands had wrapped around his head like it was nothing.
"He's also the one who likes to grab my face and shake me like a ragdoll!" Donnie shot back, his voice climbing an octave.
Mikey snorted. "Good times."
Donnie whirled on him. "Zip it!"
Mikey waved a hand dismissively. "Oh, come on, he's a total pussycat—who likes to grab your face and shake it like a ragdoll!"
Before he could finish, a crack of thunder boomed through the sky, illuminating Donnie's death glare. His pupils shrank, his entire expression darkening like a storm rolling in.
Mikey stiffened. "Right. Let's move."
Without another word, he turned on his heel and hurried ahead.
Mari let out a low whistle, watching Mikey scurry away. "Damn, Don, that was terrifying. You should bottle that look and sell it."
Raph smirked, elbowing Mari. "Y'know, I almost wish I had Donnie's face. Just once. So I could see if Leatherhead actually squeezes the nerd out of him."
Mari smirked right back. "Oh, you? Nah. He'd probably just crush what little brain cells you have left."
Raph scowled, shoving her lightly as she laughed. "Real original, Mari."
The turtles emerged from the sewer water, gasping as they clung to the edges of the tunnel.
Mikey grinned, shaking off the water. "Who can hold their breath? We can."
Raph shot him a glare. "We wouldn't have to if you hadn't kept swimming off to pick up trash."
Mikey shrugged. "One man's trash is another man's treasure."
Raph scoffed. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's every man's trash."
Mari slicked her soaked bangs out of her face, shivering. "Okay, great. Can we focus? Because I'm about two seconds away from regretting every life choice that led me here."
Cat, wringing out her ponytail, nodded. "Same. I swear, if I smell like sewer water for the next week—"
Leo ignored them, his focus ahead. "There he is."
In the corner of the chamber, Leatherhead was curled up, his massive body rising and falling with each slow breath.
Leo turned back to the others. "We don't wanna startle him, so no sudden moves."
Mikey clasped his hands together, eyes shining. "Aww, look how cute."
Just as he took a step forward, the gator let out a low, rumbling growl.
Mikey immediately took a step back.
Donnie crossed his arms. "Who's gonna wake him up?"
"Not it!" came the collective response.
Mikey pumped his fist. "Yes! I win!" He marched over with a grin. "Leatherhead, wakey-wakey, eggs and bakey!"
Before anyone could react, Leatherhead's eyes snapped open.
And then—he roared.
The sound shook the chamber, echoing off the walls.
Donnie flinched. "Can we make sudden moves now?!"
Before anyone could answer, Leatherhead lunged.
Right for Donnie.
Clawed fingers wrapped around his face, gripping him like a stress ball.
"HE'S GRABBING ME BY THE FACE AGAIN!" Donnie's muffled scream barely escaped.
Mikey rushed forward. "Leatherhead, don't!"
Leatherhead responded by whipping him aside with his tail.
Mikey tumbled across the floor.
Mari instinctively reached for her tanto, but before she could act, Raph jumped onto the gator's back, gripping tight. "He's your friend, Mikey! What do we do?!"
Mikey, still dazed, raised a hand. "Rub his belly! He likes that!"
Raph stared down at the raging beast beneath him. "What do you say?"
Before Mikey could respond, Leatherhead bucked, sending Raph flying.
Cat let out a startled yelp as she dodged him. "Nope! Nope! I vote we don't do that again!"
Mikey stumbled forward. "Leatherhead! Come on, dude, it's Michelangelo! Turn off the crazy eyes, buddy!"
For a moment, it looked like Leatherhead was going to strike again—but then, something shifted.
His claws lowered.
His breathing slowed.
Recognition flickered in his eyes.
"Michelangelo?" His voice was rough, unsteady. "My friends... Oh, no. I got angry again, didn't I?"
Donnie, still sprawled on the ground, threw his arms in the air. "Yes, you did it again! Why do you keep grabbing my face?! What is wrong with my face?!"
Raph snickered. "Would you like to list it alphabetically or in descending order of grossness?"
Leatherhead bowed his head. "I am sorry. You are my friends. The only ones I can truly trust. That is why I gave you the power cell for safekeeping."
Donnie winced. "Yeah, um—about that—"
Leo cleared his throat. "Uh... funny story."
Mikey nodded. "True story."
"But funny," Cat added in a panic.
Donnie took a cautious step backward. "But before we tell it, why don't you sit down, and I—and my face—will take one big step back." He retreated to the farthest corner. "Okay. Go ahead."
Leo inhaled. "Well, about the power cell... We sort of lost it."
Silence.
Then, in a blur, Leatherhead lunged again—grabbing Donnie's face.
Donnie let out a strangled scream.
Leatherhead froze.
Slowly, he exhaled. "No, Leatherhead," he muttered to himself. "These are your friends." He released Donnie, who immediately collapsed into a heap.
Mari nudged Cat. "How much do you wanna bet Donnie just had a full-on existential crisis?"
Cat cringed. "Poor guy."
Mikey dusted himself off. "Well, to be honest, I wasn't—"
Raph slapped a hand over Mikey's mouth. "Yes. That's exactly what happened."
Leo stepped forward. "Leatherhead, we need to get it back."
Leatherhead's expression darkened. "With the power cell, the Kraang can open the portal to Dimension X. And when it opens..."
Donnie's stomach twisted. "They can use it to bring anything from their home here."
Leatherhead's muscles tensed. "Things so horrible, they terrify even me."
Leo met his gaze, determination burning in his eyes. "We need to keep that portal from opening. Can you tell us where it is?"
Leatherhead hesitated, then nodded. He turned to the wall, claws dragging across the concrete as he carved a simple symbol into the stone.
Donnie stepped forward, eyes widening. "I know I've seen this before..."
Mikey peered over his shoulder. "The Olympics."
Donnie's eye twitched. "No."
Mikey snapped his fingers. "I got it! The Olympics."
"Stop guessing," Donnie groaned. "Obviously, it's a Kraang symbol."
Leo frowned. "But from where?"
Mikey grinned. "The Olym—"
"QUIT IT!" Donnie snapped. "There's something here. I can figure it out if you all just—go away—and let me THINK!"
Silence.
A voice broke through.
"Oh, the Olympics?"
Donnie let out an exasperated groan before realizing—
It was Splinter.
He whirled around. "For the hundredth time, I—" He stopped himself, inhaling sharply. "Ugh! It's driving me crazy! I know I've seen this somewhere else, but I just can't remember!"
Splinter placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. "You must calm your mind and wait. You are ninja, Donatello. The word nin means patience and perseverance. Deep breath. Breathe."
Donnie closed his eyes, inhaling.
Then—
His eyes snapped open. "Got it!"
Later, the turtles gathered outside.
"Donnie, hold on!" Leo called as they sprinted to keep up with him.
Donnie didn't slow down. "Just hurry up!"
Raph grumbled. "I hate when he's like this."
Mari, keeping pace with them, arched a brow. "You sure this isn't his normal setting?"
Donnie skidded to a stop, pointing at the image on his T-Phone. "I figured out where else I've seen this."
Leo and Raph leaned in.
Raph's eyes narrowed. "T.C.R.I.?"
Leo's brows furrowed. "They're behind the Kraang plot?"
Raph clenched his fists. "The invasion?"
Mikey jogged in place. "The Olympics?"
Raph whacked him upside the head.
Mikey groaned. "What was that for?"
Raph smirked. "A new Olympic event."
"That's not nice," Cat says, causing Raph to smack her.
Donnie ignored them, eyes glued to the image. "They've been in plain sight the whole time. We just never realized it."
Leo straightened. "I think it's pretty obvious what we have to do. We're going in and taking down that portal."
Mikey hovered over Donnie's workspace, eyes locked on the device in his hands.
"Can I touch that?" Mikey asked.
Donnie didn't even look up. "Sure. If you wanna blow us and the whole lair to pieces."
Mikey took a step back. "Nah, I'm good."
Mari peered over Donnie's shoulder. "Wait—why are we trusting Donnie with explosives again? I feel like we skipped over the 'bad idea' stage of this plan."
Cat grinned. "I dunno. If we explode, at least it'll be cool."
Donnie shot them both an unamused look. "For the record, I know exactly what I'm doing."
Silence.
Mikey squinted. "You sure about that, dude? 'Cause last time you said that, you short-circuited Metalhead and nearly fried yourself."
Donnie groaned. "That was one time!"
Across the room, April sat with Splinter, blueprints spread out in front of her.
"I managed to download the schematics for T.C.R.I.," she explained. "The bottom two-thirds are just a normal office building. From what I can tell, normal humans work there."
Leo frowned. "Imagine if they knew who they were really working for." He cleared his throat and mimicked the Kraang's robotic tone. "The ones who are working for this place must punch the card that is known as the time card in the clock that is known as the clock of time."
April and Splinter simply stared at him.
Cat tilted her head. "Uh... Leo? You good, man?"
Mari crossed her arms. "I think the Kraang broke him."
Leo shifted awkwardly. "Heh... heh... Sorry. Where were we?"
Splinter's expression remained unreadable. "What about the upper floors?"
April glanced back at the schematics. "Well, that's the thing. The top third is completely blank."
Leo's expression hardened. "Whatever they built up there, they didn't want anyone to know about it."
Splinter nodded. "Which means that is exactly where you must go."
Across the room, Raph loomed over Donnie and Mikey, who were still tinkering with the machine.
Without warning, he slammed his hands on the table.
Mikey yelped. "Watch it, fool!"
Mari, seated nearby, sighed. "Yeah, let's maybe not set off the bomb before we even leave the lair?"
Leo crossed his arms. "First, we need to figure out how to get past security in the lobby."
April frowned. "It's tricky. It's not like we can just pack you in a box and send it special delivery."
Cat tapped her chin. "Actually... why can't we?"
Everyone turned to her.
She blinked. "What? We got into the docks by hiding in crates, didn't we? And the Kraang are dumb as bricks. If we time it right—"
April pushed the heavy package into the T.C.R.I. building, adjusting her delivery cap as she approached the reception desk.
"Special delivery," she announced, forcing a pleasant smile. "Good luck, guys," she muttered under her breath.
The guard at the desk, Campbell, raised a brow. "I must ask you to leave. We are closed right now."
Before April could respond, a monotone, robotic voice interrupted.
"The package that is delivered to us by you will not be delivered by you to us because you will be stopped by us before you," droned a Kraang droid, stepping forward.
April's eyes flicked to her phone. She quickly snapped a picture, then gave them a mock salute. "Love to chat, but I've gotta run."
She spun on her heel and hurried out the door.
Inside, the Kraang droids surrounded the package.
"Kraang, prepare to destroy the thing that is needing to be destroyed by Kraang."
With a thunderous roar, the box exploded open.
Leatherhead emerged, snarling.
The Kraang barely had time to react before he tore through them, his claws raking through metal as he sent them flying.
"Contain him! Contain him!" Campbell screamed.
The battle below raged on.
The elevator shaft creaked as the turtles climbed, their breath heavy from exertion.
"I kinda feel bad leaving Leatherhead down there," Mikey admitted.
Leo adjusted his grip on the cables. "I think he'll be fine."
Raph glanced downward. "So, how far to the—Yikes."
Mari, climbing just beneath him, snorted. "Oh yeah, that's reassuring."
From behind them, a faint humming sound filled the air.
Donnie groaned. "Mikey, are you humming the Olympic theme?"
Mikey grinned. "Seemed appropriate."
"Pipe down, you two," Raph muttered.
He peeked through a small opening in the shaft and immediately yelped, slamming it shut.
Leo frowned. "What?"
Raph paled. "I gotta wash my eyes."
An alarm suddenly blared.
"That's bad," Raph muttered.
Mikey's face lit up. "Finally, someone set off an alarm and it wasn't me!"
The massive rock creature loomed before them, molten cracks glowing along its hardened form. Its crimson eyes locked onto the turtles, and with an ear-shattering roar, it stomped forward, shaking the entire room.
Mikey's eyes widened. "Welcome to Earth, giant rock man!"
"Scatter!" Leo ordered.
The team dove in different directions just as the creature's foot slammed into the ground, sending debris flying.
Cat, tucked behind Mari, peeked over her shoulder. "Uh, that thing spits lava, doesn't it?"
Mari sighed. "Of course it does."
Donnie scrambled to his feet, awe flickering in his gaze. "An entity made of living rock... I wish I could study it." He swung his bo staff against its arm—only to have it bounce off harmlessly.
Leo slashed at the beast's torso with his katanas. "We'll study it after we smash it into a million pieces!" The moment the words left his mouth, his blades shattered on impact. Leo blinked. "Or not."
Mikey and Raph moved in from opposite sides as the rock golem reared back, spewing a stream of molten lava from its gaping mouth.
"Watch out for the lava barf!" Raph yelled, leaping out of the way.
Mari grabbed Cat's arm, yanking her backward just before a glob of lava splattered where they'd been standing.
"Gotta love near-death experiences," Mari muttered.
The beast reached for Raph with a stone-encrusted hand. Raph twisted in midair, aiming a powerful kick at its jaw—
But the monster caught him mid-motion.
"Ah, shoot—"
Raph was hurled across the room, crashing hard into the ground. Mikey and Donnie barely had time to react before they were swatted aside like insects, skidding across the floor until they landed beside him.
"That thing has the reach of a freaking skyscraper!" Mari gritted her teeth. "We gotta be smarter than this."
Cat, gripping her tessen, sucked in a breath. "Maybe if we attack from multiple angles—?"
Leo threw down a smoke bomb, dodging as the creature roared in frustration, swinging blindly through the mist. It tore through a section of the lab's walls, smashing everything in its path.
Mikey shot back to his feet and launched himself at the monster's exposed back. "Booyakasha!"
He and Donnie struck in unison, delivering a flurry of blows alongside Raph and Mari as they forced the creature onto its knees.
Raph wiped his mouth. "Donnie, tell me you got something that can hurt this thing."
Donnie hesitated. "The explosives might do the trick... but then we wouldn't be able to take out the portal."
Leo's eyes sharpened. "Then we do both at the same time. Hand them over."
In an instant, Donnie tossed the explosives to Leo, who leapt onto the golem's head, wrapping the charges around its shoulders.
Mikey grinned. "Awesome, Leo! So, how do we get him into the portal?"
Leo faltered. "Uh... I kinda hadn't thought that far ahead."
Before he could figure it out, a guttural roar rang from across the room.
"Leatherhead!" Mikey called, relief flooding his voice.
The mutant gator crashed through the remaining Kraang droids, his massive tail whipping them aside effortlessly. His sharp gaze locked onto the rock golem.
"Traag," Leatherhead snarled.
The golem—Traag—turned to face the new threat.
Leatherhead wasted no time. He lunged, clamping his claws around Traag's arm and swinging him violently. The two titans crashed into the floor, shaking the entire structure.
"Leatherhead, get him by the portal!" Donnie shouted.
Leatherhead responded with a thunderous roar, hoisting Traag over his shoulder and hurling him straight toward the swirling vortex of energy.
Donnie's fingers flew over the detonator. He activated the charges—
A brilliant explosion engulfed Traag mid-air.
Donnie shielded his face from the blinding blast. "We did it!"
Leo grinned. "Yeah!"
Raph smirked. "Alright!"
Mikey lifted his hand for a celebratory high three—
Until the portal crackled ominously, still very much intact.
Donnie's stomach dropped. "What the—Still standing?"
Mikey hesitated, then lowered his hand. "Uh... Hi-three canceled."
A deep rumbling shook the room as Traag rose from the wreckage, his body still burning but very much alive.
Cat's voice cracked. "Uh, guys?"
The portal flickered ominously, its energy shifting. Something else was coming through.
Raph groaned. "Well, this day can't get any worse."
As if in response, the portal's energy intensified.
Donnie's face went pale. "Something else is trying to come through! What do we do now?!"
Without hesitation, Leatherhead charged forward, teeth bared.
Mikey's eyes widened. "Leatherhead! Something else is coming through!"
Leatherhead's gaze never wavered. "Not if I can help it."
Then, before anyone could stop him—
He threw himself into the portal.
Traag snarled and grabbed at him, but Leatherhead twisted mid-motion, dragging the rock beast down with him.
"Leatherhead, NOOO!" Mikey screamed.
The portal's energy surged violently—
Then collapsed in on itself.
A shockwave of energy erupted outward, knocking the turtles and both sisters off their feet.
By the time they recovered, the portal was gone.
Mikey stared at the empty space, his hands trembling. "Leatherhead..." His voice was small, broken. "I can't believe he's gone."
Cat lowered her tessen. "He saved us."
Leo's face was grim. "We've got to get out of here."
Donnie shook his head. "We can't just leave. With that portal operational, the Kraang are more dangerous than ever. We have to destroy it."
His words barely had time to sink in before alarms blared.
Kraang droids stormed in from every direction.
Leo tightened his grip on his katanas. "Uh... maybe later. We'll be back."
The team turned and bolted.
Leo fired his grappling hook, launching them toward the exit as blaster fire rained down behind them.
A while later, the turtles stumbled through the entrance of their lair, exhausted and battle-worn. Their movements were sluggish, weighed down by the aftermath of the fight.
April rushed forward, her eyes wide with relief. "You're okay!"
Splinter stood nearby, his hands clasped, taking in their weary forms. "Welcome home, my children. Was your mission successful?"
Leo exhaled, his shoulders heavy. "Afraid not, Sensei. Leatherhead's gone."
Mari crossed her arms, her gaze locked on the floor. "He didn't even hesitate... He just—" Her voice caught, but she swallowed it down.
Mikey's face fell further. "Yeah... but he saved us." He hesitated before pulling something from his belt. "And I found this."
He held up a strange, metallic chip.
Raph squinted. "Oh, good. Now you're picking up alien trash."
Donnie snatched it from Mikey's hand, his eyes lighting up. "Do you realize what this is?"
"Shiny!" Cat exclaimed.
Donnie ignored Cat, already flipping it over in his hands. "It's a Kraang data storage device. If I can decode it, maybe it can help us find a way to stop them."
April frowned, her mind spinning. "This just doesn't make sense. If the Kraang are trying to terraform the Earth, what do they need my dad for?"
Leo crossed his arms. "Well, he is a scientist."
April shook her head. "Yeah, but he's a psychologist. He studies rats running through mazes. No offense."
Splinter hummed. "I enjoy a good maze."
April barely acknowledged the comment, her brows furrowed. "My dad wouldn't know anything about what they're trying to do."
Raph's expression darkened. "But if they didn't need your dad... why were they after him in the first place?"
A heavy silence settled over them.
Donnie hesitated, then turned back to the device. "I used the Kraang processor inside Metalhead to access the storage drive. A lot of the files are damaged... but I think I found what they're really after."
He pressed a button.
A single image flickered to life on the screen.
April's heart stopped.
"They're after... me?"
