Bonnie's Secret Crush
Chapter 4 The Day After.
Kim had awoken on Saturday morning. She lay in bed since 8 a.m., staring at the ceiling. She couldn't stop thinking about Bonnie, and the secret kisses they shared the night before. She wasn't for certain, but she was positive that it all felt right to her. Like she had been living a lie that had suddenly been revealed to her. Was she really a lesbian. She always dated boys, but something about it felt wrong. Every kiss she shared with other boys, felt like she was kissing her brothers. But kissing Bonnie, that felt so much more exhilarating.
She rolled out of bed and went into her bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror, A smile all a crossed her face she couldn't stop. She was wearing a silk night shirt that stopped at her bellybutton. And It has spaghetti straps. She only had a pair of lacy red panties on, ones that showed off a little too much of her butt. Knowing she can't go down stairs like that, she grabbed her white bathrobe from off the back of the bathroom door.
Kim arrived down stairs to only find her mother in the kitchen. The teen gets her self a cup of coffee, walks over to the table, where her mom is sitting, puts an arm around her, and kisses her mom on top of her head. "Good morning mom." She said smiling.
Dr. Anne Possible, looks to her happy daughter, and smiles back at her. "Good morning Kimmie cub. And how are you this morning?" She asked.
Kim sat down at the table next to her mother. "I feel great this morning. And I'm so happy." Her smile only getting bigger.
"So, I take it your date with Bonnie went well?" The rec headed dr. asked her daughter. Smiling at how happy her daughter was.
"It was great mom. She showed me a side of her I had never seen before. And she showed me a side of me I never seen before. Would you be mad if I was a lesbian?" The teen hero asked. Not even thinking before she asked. Now feeling a little scared at the words that just left her mouth.
Dr. Anne looked to her daughter still smiling. "Of course we will sweetie. All that we care is that your happy. And seeing the smile on your face, well that tells me your very happy. And that makes me happy." She said holding the hero girls hands.
Kim leaned her head against her moms arm. "I have never been this happy after any date I had before." She stated to her mother. "I can't get her off my mind now. I...I think I'm in love with one of my greatest rivals." Her smile grew large again at the very thought of one Bonnie Marie Rockwaller.
"Wow. In love already?" Her mom asked with a large smile on her face. "That was one great date, huh?
" Like I said, she showed me thing about herself I never knew." Kim told her mother. "Like I didn't know that she could ever be this nice to people. She told me how she really thought about me. How much she admired my missions. She even told me she admired what you and dad do." She sat up again to look at her mother. "She really likes you guys. And the twins. She like to look at art, and to read poems." She trailed off, look at the table.
"She sounds like a very culture young lady." Dr. Anne said to her daughter, to bring her out of her trance. "It also sounds like you two have a lot in common."
"Oh yeah mom, she is great. The only thing is, I still think she is trying to set me up for something. I don't know what I'd do if she broke my heart." Kim said to her mother. "I'm trying really hard to believe that she likes me like this."
Dr. Possible drops her smile when she hears her Kimmie cub talk like that. "Honey, I'm sure she isn't.
I heard everything she said to you last week. She sounded so sincere to me. And why would she have those nightmares if she didn't love you? I had nightmares similar to her when I met your father for the first time." She confided to her Kimberly.
"And I know that just finding out that your gay and the one who showed you is your cheer rival. I'm sure that would scare anyone." Anne reassured her little bubble but. "I don't think you have anything to worry about." She kissed her little girl on the head.
"Why don't you call her and talk to her about it? I bet you'll feel better after."
Kim thought about it for a minute, "Maybe later." She said, "But I need breakfast first. Speaking of breakfast, where are dad and the tweebs anyway?" She asked her mother.
"Oh, I had your father take the twins out to run an errand for me." The older Possible stated. "Just so you and I could talk in peace." She smiled
Bonnie Rockwaller was the school's biggest bitch, well, she was entitled anyway. Her sisters had taught her about the food chain in high school. And it was a Rockwaller tradition, to be on top of it. And she is, or was, when everyone finds out about her and Kim. But at this point, she doesn't care. Her sisters still won't except her. They'll really hate her once they hear she's in love with another girl. And, the one she tormented the most, all through out middle and high school.
Bonnie also found the real her again. She had tried for years to be like her sisters. To live up to all their hype, and still treat her like garbage. So what if their mom married her dad, and became pregnant being her. I am still part of this family. We still have the same mom. It's not my fault your dad died of cancer.
Anyway, she was determined not to try to appease them. Nothing she did would ever be enough for them to care about her. She will just live her life her way from now on. She's eighteen now. She doesn't have to prove her self to anyone, well, one person anyway. Oh course, she knew, she still had to prove herself to Kim. That one person was all that mattered to Bonnie. She thought "I should call her." As she looked at her phone. After a minute she thought "Ah, later, coffee and breakfast first."
Bonnie walked into the kitchen and seen her mother, the spitting image of Bonnie herself, was sitting at the table having coffee. Usually her sisters would be there as well. But not this morning. This morning they were no where to be seen. The teen brunette sat down at the table next to her mother. "Good morning mom." She said when she sat down.
"Good morning Bon Bon. How was your date with your lady friend last night?" She asked her daughter.
Bonnie looked at her mother in shock. "How did you know?" She asked with trepidation in her voice.
"I got a call from one of the waitresses from the restaurant you were at. She's A close friend of mine, and she told me she seen you on a date with a red haired girl. Something you want to tell me?" She questioned her youngest daughter.
Bonnie held het head down. "I really didn't want you to find out that way." She said looking defeated. "Mom, I'm a lesbian. I like girls not boys. And I have my eyes on a special someone. She's perfect. We have so much in common. And I'm in love with her. Last night I was finally able to tell her as much." She explained to her mother.
Mrs. Rockwaller ,stared at her youngest, listening intently. "Well as long as your happy dear, I'm happy for you." She reached out and hugged her daughter tightly. "You know you can tell me anything sweety. I would never be mad at you for being you."
Bonnie, still being held by her mother, "I know mom, but if Connie and Lonnie find out, I'll never hear the end of it." She stated. "Speaking of which, where are my tormentors now?" She questioned her mother.
"Oh, I sent them out to go find a place of their own. They are in their twenties now. It's time they left to be on their own. Plus, I didn't want them around this morning while we talked in peace." She explained. "I didn't and don't want them making fun of you while we talked."
Bonnie smiled and looked at her mom. "Thank you. I don't know what I'd do if they started on me about this. I love you mom." She told her. Hugging s little harder as they talked.
"So," her mother started again. "What's her name? Do I know her?" She questioned Bonnie.
"It's Kim Possible, you know, the teen hero who takes down all the super villains." She said.
"Wow. I thought you hated her?" Her mom asked her.
"I thought I did. But I started to have these dreams of where we were dating. I woke up one morning, decided that maybe I didn't hate her. I was just trying to fit in with Connie, and Lonnie. You know, to be excepted by them. They've always hated me. And anything I did or do, they'll never except me. We have different dads. And they don't feel that I belong here." Bonnie explained to her mother.
"So the Friday before last, I walked up to her to and told her I wanted to talk and just come to a truce. I wouldn't torment her anymore. And I wanted a date with her. It a little convincing and a hole week of hanging out together, and last night was the best date I've ever been on. Mom, I think I do really love her." Bonnie finally finished.
"Oh sweetie," Her mother looked at her daughter with a big smile on her face, like the one she had on now. "I'm so happy for you."
Shego was out spying on Kim as well hoping to stop Drakken before he started his nefarious plan. Kidnapping everyone Kim was close to to stop her from fighting crime. That was not a good plan. If she can find Kim, and let her know what was happening in Drakken's plan, maybe she could stop it before it happens.
The raven haired villain was look for the teen hero, as stealthy as she could, trying not to draw attention to herself. She was dressed casually in some black form fitting jeans, and a green shirt that slid off her shoulders. It didn't show any skin except for her arms. It was short sleeved. It too hugged her form tightly.
Shego checked the school, but it was Saturday. She check Bueno Nacho, not opened yet, cause it was only 9 a.m. She went to the mall, but no sign of her. The only place she could think of after that, was Kim's home. So she headed off in the direction of the Possible residence. She thought to herself, "I wonder what princess will say when I knock on her door?" She wouldn't have to wait long, she didn't have far to go to find Kim's house.
Knock knock knock. On the possible residence. A voice could be heard coming to the door. "I'll get it."
Sounded the voice. Shego thought it sounded a lot like Kim. Once the door opened, A shocked Kim Possible was standing right there, staring at a pale green skinned woman was who was knocking on her door.
"Shego? What are you doing at my house at 9:30 on a Saturday?" Was what Kim asked her, as she look at the raven haired woman. The same one she fights, which seems like on a weekly bases.
Shego was looking at Kim in her bathrobe she was wearing. "Am I too later for breakfast?" She asked the redhead. "Or am I just in time for lunch?"
"Kimmie, who's at the door?" Her mother called from the kitchen.
Shego's face went from smiling to one of seriousness. "Kimmie, we need to talk about Drakken. Can I please come in?" She asked nicely. Something that caught Kim off guard.
Kim still held an agree face at Shego, for invading her home. "What could be so important that you would show up at my house?" Kim asked with rage in her voice.
Mrs Dr. Possible came to the door behind Kim. "Shego? What are you doing here?" She asked calmly. As if Shego wasn't an evil villain.
"She was just leaving. Right Shego?" Kim just wanted her to leave. This was no way to spend a Saturday after the best date of her life.
Shego just spoke up before the door closed. "I came to talk to Kim, well, warn her is more the appropriate thing to say." The raven haired woman's almost yelled through the door.
Mrs. Possible opened the door again. Concern on her face as she motion for the emerald eyed woman into their home. "Warn her about what?" She asked. "What could be so important, that one of Kim's enemies would show up to warn her about something? And why should we believe you in the first place?"
They walked into the kitchen and Kim's mom poured Shego a cup of coffee as they sat down at the table. The raven haired villain reach for the cup with gratitude. "Oh. Thank you. Well, I guess I should start at the beginning." Taking a deep breath, she begins. "Drakken came up with a plan to get Kimmie to quit being a hero. He plans on kidnapping all your family, all your friends, or anyone who show any kind of meaning to her. And if Kim doesn't stop, he'll kill everyone you love." Shego finished and watched Kim and her mother stair at her with disbelief.
"I know you don't believe me." Said Shego. "I know you have no reason to believe me, but, I will do anything for money. But I draw the line at kidnapping and murder. That's not my thing. I'm a thief, I steal and I rob. But nothing else. Well, maybe the occasional fight with a pretty red head." She took a sip of coffee.
"Shego, why are you telling us Drakken's plan?" Kim wondered. "You could have gone to the police. Or GJ even. Why did you feel the need to tell us?"
"So you could warn everyone else your close to. I don't want what Drakken's planning to happen to anyone. I don't want that on my conscience." The villainous woman told the others.
"Besides, I like Kimmie a lot. She been the best sparing partner I ever had." The green woman said. If I thought I could, or even if she would, I would ask her out. But I know because I'm a female and a villain, and she's a hero, she would never say yes." She said hanging her head down.
Kim spoke up to put in her thoughts. "I'm already seeing someone. We just had our first date. She was great and lady like on our date. If it wasn't for that, I might of said yes to going out with you." Kim giving Shego a slight smile as she looked at the disappointment in her emerald eyes.
"Just my luck huh." Shego he'd a little disappointed sound in her voice. "I finally get the courage up, and I get shot down again. Just like after," She paused.
Kim picked up on what Shego was saying and finished her sentence. "After that night with the radio tower." She said.
Mrs Dr. Possible chimed in. "What happened with the radio tower?"
Kim drops her head, trying to put to words what happened. "We were fighting about Drakken's synthrodrone Eric, who broke my heart. Cause I thought he was the greatest boyfriend I ever had. Little did I know that he wasn't even real. I was so mad that while we fought, I told Shego I hated her. Even though she said she had nothing to do with it. I didn't believe her and I kicked so hard, she hit the radio tower. She hit it so hard, the tower fell down on top of her. Electrocuteing her while she lay under the debris. She got hurt really bad. She was in a coma in the hospital for several days." She started crying. The pain and guilt for what had happened was eating at her horribly.
Shego then continued. "When I woke up, Kim was sitting beside me. She had her head on the mattress. It looked like she had cried herself to sleep. When she woke up we talked, I guess you could say. She cried and begged for forgiveness for what she did to me. I seen how vulnerable she was, I could be mad at her. She didn't know what would happen." Now Shego paused, but only briefly. And then she continued. "We spent several days talking in the hospital. Getting to know each other. I guess I started having feels for Princess here. But then when I was well enough, I left without telling her. I sorta vanished for a while. When I seen Kimmie again, she had a new boyfriend, so I went back to Drakken."
"Oh my." Said Mrs Possible said after she heard what the girls had to say. "Well, that certainly was an interesting turn of events. Kimmie Cub does have a temper on her. But Shego, when she knows she has done wrong, she will move heaven and earth to try and fix her mistakes." She reach over and put a hand on Kim's back for reassurance.
Kim smiled at her mom with tears still in her eyes. "Thank you." She said.
"Look, pumpkin," The raven haired villain began. "I never blamed you for what happened. Hell, if I were in your shoes, I probably would have done the same thing. After all, I am a villain and probably, in one way or another, I deserved that. But, like I said then, I didn't have any thing to do with that. Drakken kept me in the dark on the whole synthrodrone thing."
Kim looked down again, "Yeah, I know that now. And I'm still sorry for what I did. I still have nightmares about it some times. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to call Bonnie." At that Kim left the kitchen and ran to call Bonnie. She really needed to hear her voice. And to warn her for what Shego had told them about Drakken's plan.
