"Cake… Cake… strawberry cake…~" Shirone sang as we walked down the streets of Akihabara. "Akeno's strawberry cake…" And as you can guess, she has managed to win our little challenge at the ramen shop, so now I have to give her my slice of cake.

"I'm surprised that you were able to pay off all of that, sister," she told me.

"Apparently, I still have some stuff left from my previous master. I thought that they got rid of it after what happened, but I guess they transferred it to the Gremory Family," I explained. I guess I have to thank them. I didn't really need it since they do pay their servants quite a lot. Even Shirone got quite a bit from her first job. For now, Grayfia is taking control of her account until she gets older.

"So what are we going to do now, sister?" Shirone asked me.

"Oh, someplace very fun. Don't you worry." I told her. Besides the slight detour to the ramen stall, I did have one place in mind. We continued to walk the rather busy streets until we arrived at a very tall building. It had two boxes with stuffed animals with a claw above it on the outside of it. The doors are wide open to the place so you can see the inside of it has more of the same stuff. "Shirone, welcome to MEGA's Arcade."

"Arcade?" She asked.

"It's basically a place where you can play games and have a chance to win prizes. They have one in Kuoh, but the girls in my class always say that the one in Akihabara is not only bigger, but also better," I told her. "Come, let's go inside."

"Ok," she said as we entered the arcade building.

"Sister, we should probably start heading home now. I don't want Rias to get mad at us," Shirone told me.

"Yeah, just give me one second, ok? I'm making sure that this plushie is coming home with me!" Currently we're both standing in front of a claw game that has a mouse character from a battle monster series as one of the prizes! I thought it would be easy to get, but the claw has been screwing me over!

"I can give you one of my plushies, sister." Shirone said while holding a ridiculous size bag filled with different types of prizes.

"Shirone, as much I would love to take one, as the older sister I shall win one for myself!" I put in another coin before starting the machine again. After playing a few times, I've decided to make some kind of strategy. Instead of going for the mouse in one attempt, I was now inching the plush towards the victory hole. I have been rather lucky with how much space I manage to get, and with this final coin I will get this mouse!!!

"Please do come again!" One of the workers said towards us as we left the arcade. After 15 more attempts, I was finally able to get the mouse…. I didn't expect that it would take me so much to get one prize… While Shirone on the other hand…

"Wow! You actually got the key game prize!" A teenager who was walking by asked her. "I've heard those things are impossible to win!"

"There's a bit of a delay if you prolong the key. You have to let go of the button a second earlier whenever you're going up or right," she explained.

"Wait, it's that simple?!" He asked. She simply nods her head.

"Although, it does takes a few tries," she said.

"Alright, thanks you very much," when he said that he went and entered the arcade. When he was fully out of sight, I kneel down to Shirone to ask her something.

"Hey, does it actually work like that?"

"No, I just used senjutsu to mess with the machine," she told me. That nearly alone made me collapse on the ground. Not only because Shirone sort of cheated on everything that she won, is that I even didn't think about using any of it at first! "Sister, are you ok?" She asked me.

"... let's just go home…"

"Ok."

The sights of the different lights of the buildings with the sun setting makes a different type of atmosphere. The streets of Akihabara are still busy, but instead of teenagers and cosplayers, there were just ordinary people probably getting off from their jobs. After teleporting all of Shirone's winnings back home, we decided to start heading back to the train station back to Kuoh. I mean, sure we could use a magic circle back to the Underworld, but I would rather do it in a place that it would be less obvious. And speaking of being obvious…

"Shirone, go ahead and cover up your ears and tail again."

"Hm? Why?" She asked me.

"Usually, different types of people tend to be a lot more bold during this time of day, especially in a place like this." Who knows what could happen here. There could be fallen angels lurking around in the area. "Don't worry, it's only for the ride back, ok?"

"Ok." With that, we both concealed our true forms slowly, just to make sure that nobody noticed.

"Hmm… Say Shirone, you wanna go to that one ramen place from earlier again?" I asked her.

"...I want to try the pork katsu again." She said.

"Alright then. I hope he still have enough ingredients for a on the way home snack, nya~" I'm pretty sure that I remember where the restaurant was located. Plus, my nose wouldn't forget such a heavenly smell~! After walking for a bit, my nose has picked up the smell from the shop again.

"Alright, so it's nearby here." The broth of the chicken ramen is strong here… along with another smell. It's a familiar smell, but it was faint. As we continued towards the booth, the other smell began to overdue the ramen broth… it was making me sick to my stomach. Another very familiar feeling…

"Shirone, stay here." I told her. She was going to say something, before simply nodding her head. Before I left her on her own, I activated a spell circle around her that'll protect her. It's invisible to the naked eye so regular humans won't be able to see it, so she should be fine. I walked down the alleyway to investigate this scent. Everything seemed to be normal at first, but once I got near to the booth the terrible smell was already at it's peak. Suddenly my foot made a splat sound. I looked down at the ground to see what I've stepped in. It was a small red puddle.

It was blood.
