A full man was waiting outside the school for Haru.
"So how was your day, Chiki?" - He asked, taking her backpack
"Fine," the girl replied, not wanting to talk about school or anything like that right now.
"Not as good as your score increase?!"
"You know already?"
"It's a very popular topic with us, you know"
"Ehhhhh, what else could I expect?" - Haru sighed, but immediately thought of a new topic of conversation: "How's Saki doing?"
"Fine, she did great and has been a wonderful girl," the guard bragged to his wife, "And do you know what a wonderful voice my chick has?"
"Oh, then we can have a contest to see whose lungs are more powerful!" - laughed the girl, completely forgetting about her previous worries.
"I don't think that's a good idea, no one has survived your attempt yet."
"But it was fun".
"You have strange ideas about good and fun".
"But it's better than having weird eating habits"
"What's your point?"
"Nothing," replied the girl; "let us hurry, then you will have more time for your little miracle."
And they hurried off, making a little competition to see who could get there the fastest.
Muta, though he was a small hyborite, had good strength, and this was proven as he approached the gates of Haru's house.
"You defeated me again," Haru stated while catching her breath
"Heh, you gave me a good incentive."
"Yeah, that's your incentive?!"
"Just like it was for your father, but don't you dare use it again!" - threatened Renny
"Okay, I don't want to deal with you again when you turn on your full power".
"But you'll still set them up!"?"
"Right, I'll see you tomorrow," said Haru .
Her personal guard left after his ward entered the house and greeted her mother.
Haru kept wondering when the fan club would offer her a nice chat to see how serious their opponent was.
When Monday came, there was a letter in her locker that read:
We're waiting for you at n's after school. I hope you don't run away or your life at school will be hell. Unsigned.
"No need for a signature, it's clear who had a hand in this. As for their threats, there's no creativity in that," Haru grumbled, tucking the note back into the envelope.
"Confession?" - came Hiromi's voice from behind.
"No, it's more like a duel.
"Oh, so the fans made their move after all!"
"Sort of, but aren't you supposed to be on a triner?"
"It's already over"
"Then let's go to class, I'll protect you from anyone who wants to hurt you"
"I'd love to see it" and they headed to class
There was one nice detail: his fans didn't do anything unless there was an order from their handler. However, some talking could be heard in the hallway.
