After searching multiple places where battles with the Decepticons has occurred, the evidence was scant and neither Ultra Magnus nor Sentinel Prime believed Optimus, and Sentinel was even smug about all of this. Ultra Magnus continued to reiterate that the cons were gone at the end of the last war, and the failure to find anything proved that to the leader. After finishing all the sites, Ultra Magnus was frustrated at following this wild goose chase as humans called it and stated that he planned on placing that new bot, Lancex, under arrest for destroying the All Spark. Optimus sighed, wishing that the leader wasn't so stubborn and that Sentinel wasn't such a lying weasel. They drove on, with Optimus more and more frustrated by each dismissal that came his way.
Meanwhile, at the factory, Bee and Sari found things absolutely chaotic. Robots were coming off the line so fast and were shooting first and not asking any questions, as the saying went. Bee tried to fend them off, but it was too much just for him, as the robots continued to roll off the line without ceasing. He did the only thing he could thing of – commed Optimus and begged the big boss for help with the situation. Understanding the danger and also hoping to prove the truth, Optimus headed for the factory, with Ultra Magnus and Sentinel in tow. If Optimus was headed somewhere fast, they needed to be there as well. They had no idea just what a mess they would find.
Upon arriving at the chaotic scene at the Sumdac factory, Optimus saw not only his men trying to fend off the psychotic robots, but also the Dinobots standing there, as if wondering if they should step in or not. Optimus didn't have a ton of time to just stand around, and jumped into the fray without realizing that Lancex was right there as well, just wait for the right time to jump in. And when Lancex decided it was just the right time, he revealed a weapon that Ultra Magnus and Sentinel had never seen before, Lancex's usual sword and charged into the scene. Optimus secretly smirked as Ultra Magnus and Sentienl had no idea just what they were going to witness.
