Mount Justice
"I don't what it is, but there was something that I didn't like about Jason. He was gone for at least two years, then all of a sudden, he comes out of the blue. And now he has everyone wrapped his finger. Not to mention he framed me of hurting him. Right now, I was following the Team as they gave a tour to Red Hood. Even his name is suspicious. Like seriously, who names himself 'Red Hood'. It's as bad as, if not worse, the name Superboy." La'gaan thought.
"And this is the weapons room." Beast Boy's voice broke in.
"Hold on!" La'gaan shouted. He was able to block the keypad before Garfield was able to enter the code.
"Dude!! What the hell was that for?" Impulse whined.
"Are all of you insane?!" The Atlantean shouted at his fellow teammates, "Are you really just about to let the man, that has been doing who knows what for the past two years, into the weapon's room?"
"La'gaan, chill. We were just showing Jason around." Beast Boy tried to justify.
"Besides," Cassie added, "it's not like Jason's evil."
"How would you know that he wasn't?" La'gaan countered, "You've been so distracted by Jason's muscles, that a bee could literally land on your nose!"
"I am not!!" Cassie defended herself.
"Oh please."
"La'gaan, I will not tolerate you bad mouthing one of the biggest figures in the future's history!" Impulse added
"Shut up, Impulse. Of all of us, you shoud be the least on to talk. You lived in the future for most of your life. All you know is the great figures that was there at the time." La'gaan sneered, "Hate to break it to ya, but the future can change!! We can't trust him!!"
"How can we be sure that we can trust you?!" Cassie roared, "After all you were the one that challenged Nightwing, nearly caused us, all, to be killed, and you hurt Jason!! How can we be sure that you're not here to sabotage the team. Who knows, maybe you were the one that caused the others to disappear!!"
Before he knew what he was doing, La'gaan grew in size and lunged at the girl. He forcefully pushed her into the wall. Seeing the terrified look on her face he hissed low enough for her to hear but no one else, "If you accuse me of betraying this team then I know that you are way over your head!! You can't even imagine how important this team and the others are to me!!" Using his peripheral vision, La'gaan saw the stunned eyes of his teammates and the smug smirk that Jason was giving off. Slowly he went back to his original size. "Don't ever say that to me... again."
Cassie looked into La'gaan's red eyes and saw the sadness in them. What she said really hurt him, "La'gaan..."
"Save it." Turning to the boys, La'gaan saw that Jason's face now had concern written all over it, but that couldn't fool him. "Give him a damn tour, I don't care. I'll be in the training area." With that, he tensely walked through the stunned supers, turned the corner, and disappeared.
"Well, that was uncalled for." Blue Beetle spoke as he inspected the now Wonder Girl sized dent in the wall.
"Maybe we should make sure that he's alright." Beast Boy thought out loud.
"We should give him time to cool off, besides didn't you want to show me around the mountain." Jason said, trying to discreetly change the team's attention.
"Yeah, you're probably right." Cassie agreed still slightly in shock about what just took place.
"We still haven't shown you the beach or the pool yet!" Garfield said enthusiastically.
"Let's go BB." Impulse encouraged.

Whenever La'gaan was upset about something, he woud always go to his one place of escape. The training Room. There wasn't anything special about it, but Nightwing taught him about how that a single room can be a haven. At that very second, La'gaan was very thankful that he listened to Nightwing. There was so much going on in his mind. His leader's kidnapping, trying to prove that he could lead a team, trying to take care of the others, and now, watching Jason.
"I don't care what they guys say." La'gaan thought to himself as he punched a punching bag, "Jason may have been a bat, but that still doesn't mean that we should trust him."
"I could watch him on the cameras, but then again, he was raised by a bat, so he would know how to evade the camera's view." He muttered to himself "Maybe..."
"'Maybe', what?" A voice asked. Turning around, La'gaan saw Black Canary. "Is everything okay?" She asked. But instead of answering the question, La'gaan just scowled, then went back to what he was doing. "La'gaan, the others told me what had happene. Do you want to talk about it?"
"Look, I don't know what 'this' is." gesturing to the hero, "But I'm not interested in having a therapy session." La'gaan spat out with venom laced in his words.
"La'gaan, you should know that, that's not my intent."
"Then why are you here?"
"I'm here to pick up Jason. The Team said that you punched Jason.." Before BC was able to finish what he was saying, La'gaan angrily cut her off.
"So that's what this is about!" he growled. "Believe what you want. But I am telling you that I did not hurt Red Hood. He made it look like I hurt him, but I didn't!"
"Did I ever say that you did?" She asked, crossing her arms over her chest. "I believe you when you say that you didn't hurt Jason."
"Then what's the point of you being here." La'gaan asked, temper cooling.
"I don't thoroughly trust Jason either. I trust him even less with the others. I was against letting Jason stay here unsupervised, but the others thought that it would be a good idea." Black Canary explained, arms falling at her side. "I don't think I need to tell you to watch him while he's here, but I am telling you to be discreet about it."
"No really?" La'gaan quipped sarcastically, "I think I already know that."
"I'm serious." Changing her face from a motherly look to a glare. "Jason wastrained by not only Batman, but by whoever he spent his time with. If he suspects that you're up to something, then he could cause some serious damage. I am only advising you to be smart about it."
"Okay."
Breakline
Following her out of the room, La'gaan found the team lined up in the debriefing room. "I'm assuming that you all had a nice with Jason."
"Yeah, BC, we were able to show him around, beat his butt at video games, and we were able to share some cool stories." Beast Boy informed
"Well, I'm glad that you had fun," Black Canary was about to address Red Hood when she saw that he wasn't with the others.
Seeing her questioning glare, Wonder Girl explained, "He said that he needed to use the bathroom, and he would catch up with soon."
"And you just let him go?!" La'gaan asked, enraged this his friends were that blindsided.
"I mean yeah, when you gotta go, you gotta go." Impulse waved his hand dismissively.
"You idiots!!" La'gaan shouted, "How can you just leave him alone, what makes you think that he wont go searching through anything."
"Look I don't know what your problem is!" Impulse defended, " But it needs to stop. Jason is our friend!"
"How would you know?! All you know is that he's your friend in the future. I case you haven't noticed, you numbskull, we're not in the future. So stop talking like you know what you know what people's motives are!!"
"Um, Amigo." Blue Beetle interrupted the tense stare down, "You should probably calm down."
"Blue Beetle is right." Black Canary said,"We need to find Jason."
"Fine."
Breakline.
As the others searched, Red Hood was doing his own things. Yes he needed to be excused, but it wasn't for the reason he told the others. Instead of going to the bathrooms, Red Hood made his way to the weapons room. Thanks to La'gaan, Red Hood wasn't able to see what was in there, and he wasn;t able to complete his task. But now with some quiet time, he just may be able to do it, but he would have to be quick about it.
With a few simple keystrokes, Jason was able to open the automated door to the weapons room. Rolling his eyes, Red Hood entered. His master sent him to find a certain volatile chemical. This chemical could only be found in two places, the weapon's room at the Mountain, or the Batcave. "Why would they leave a highly volatile chemical in the hands of a few highschoolers?" Red Hood asked himself. After searching for a while, he finally came across it. "Bingo." Just as he was about to take it, the door slide open. Leaping away from the light that came streaming in, Red Hood saw Wonder Girl and Blue Beetle coming in.
"I just don't know why La'gaan is having such a hard time. I mean, Jason is Batman's son. If the big bad bat can trust, why can't La'gaan do the same.
"Well, you got to remember, La'gaan lost a lot already, then losing half of the team, probably didn't help either, then Jason comes back from the dead. It's a lot to think about." Blue Beetle reasoned
"Maybe," pulling her hand to her ear, Wonder Girl activated her comm, "No one here. How's your search?"
"Red Hood's not in the training room," Impulse informed
"He's not in the Kitchen," Beast Boy added
"He's not in the hangar," Lagoon Boy muttered
"Keep looking. He has to be around here somewhere." Black Canary told the others.
As the two supers walked out, and the door closed, Red Hood jumped out of his hiding spot. Grabbing a spare case on the shelf, Red Hood gentley placed the chemical into the case. He wasabout to make his escape when the alarms sounded and red lights started to shine. "I should've known that Bat's would have installed pressure plates. Stupid." he muttered. Reaching up to his helment, Red Hood spoke into his comm link,"Red Hood to Cheshire."
"Red Hood, received. What's your status?" Cheshire's smooth voice sounded into his ear.
"I got the package, prepare transport."
"Why do I hear sirens?" Cheshire asked mockingly. "You forgot about the pressure plates and security measures, didn't you."
Releasing a heavy sigh, Red Hood responded. "Yes, alright, yes." "Now about that transport"
"Sending a jet to pick you up. Meet them on the beach." As the link died, Red Hood let out another heavy sigh. Just then the doors swung open, and the team and Black Canary stepped into the room.
" Didn't I tell you that he couldn't be trusted." La'gaan snarled
"I don't believe it." Beast Boy gasped
"Why would you do this?" Impulse asked, a tinge of hurt in his voice.
"When I heard Lagoon Boy talking about me with Black Canary, I knew that. I had to complete the mission before I left. And that is exactly what I'm planning on doing." Getting in a battle stance, the case in hand, Red Hood charged. Instead of fighting them, he jumped onto one of the shelves in the crowded room, grabbed a gun, and started to shoot. The team immediately jumped out of the way, as bullets flew around the room.
Making his way out, Red Hood raced to the beach, with the Team on his heels. Evading another Canary cry, Hood heard the jet. In order to loose the kids, he threw down a small grenade, brought out his hidden grapple gun, shot it at the plane, and pressed the button. Immediately the tether line retracted, taking Red Hood with it. As the dust cleared, they saw Red Hood in a jet with the case, tauntingly waving at them. The jet then shot a missle at the mountain. The Mountain was obliterated. Staring at their now destroyed home in shock, the Team looked back to see if the jet was still there, but it was gone.
La'gaan let out an angry cry, "This is all your fault!!" He yelled at Impulse.
