Enter Kyoshi.
One calm night on Zuko's ship, The exiled prince himself was meditating in his room, Four lit candles enlarging and shrinking in size as he breathed in and out, It was then that his Uncle Iroh entered the room.
Zuko: The only reason you should be interrupting me uncle, is if you have news about the Avatar.
Iroh: Well, there is news, Prince Zuko, But you might not like it, So don't get too upset.
Zuko: Uncle, You taught me that keeping a level head is a sign of a great leader, Now whatever you have to say, I'm sure I can take it.
Iroh: Okay, then… We have no idea where he is.
Zuko: WHAT!?
Zuko immediately rose to his feet, the flames on the Candles erupting behind him.
Iroh: You really should open a window here.
Zuko: What do you mean you have no idea!?
Iroh: Well there have been a few sightings of the Avatar and his escort, but he's impossible to truly track down, But that's not the only news…
Zuko: What do you mean?
Iroh: Lord Jargafar's Top Lieutenants are hunting a Freedom Watch Scout Team, Said to be holding something that the Dark lord himself is after.
Zuko: What Scout team?!… Wait, you mean the same one that was with the Avatar and helped him escape?
Iroh: I suppose…
Zuko: They don't mean the Avatar, Do they?
Iroh: I don't know…
Zuko slammed his fist against the wall in frustration.
Zuko: Blast it! As if Zhao wasn't bad enough!... Oh well, Hopefully they don't pick up their trail before I do. They're with the Avatar after all, He's clearly a master of evasion.

Jack stared at the map and thoroughly checked his surroundings.
Jack: We have absolutely no Idea where we're going.
The team was currently flying over the open sea, Katara was sewing a hole in Sokka's pants, while Vana slumped over the side of Appa, her face a sickly green.
Vana: All I see is water…
Dib: That or you're just Seasick.
Vana: I am not…
Vana then proceeded to throw up over the side of Appa.
Dipper: So Aang, Have you ever Been to Caer Dathyl?
Aang: Not really, You?
Jack: We come from castle Dathyl.
Aang: Well then shouldn't you guys know the way?
Dib: It's practically on the other side of the continent! In Europe! For christ sake!
Aang: Oh… We… have a long flight ahead of us don't we?
Sokka: Yeah, Probably a whole Season's worth, anyway, At least it gives a girl more time for sewing.
Katara picked up on this.
Katara: W-What does me being a girl have to do with sewing?
Sokka: Simple, girls are better at fixing pants than guys, and guys are better at hunting, fighting, and… stuff, you know, It's just the natural order of…
Katara: All done with your pants and look what a great job I did.
She then threw the pants to Sokka, which still had a gaping hole in it.
Sokka: Wait! I was just kidding! I can't wear these! Katar please!
Everyone laughed at Sokka's disposition, Evan Vana, who was still puking.
Mark: All right, All right that's enough sexist bashing… As we've established there's a long journey ahead of us, And we might need to make a pitstop soon. We don't want to be caught in the open if the Egg Carrier or Zuko or Possibly that Psycho Mouse come looking for us.
Mac: So what do we do till then?
Mark thought for a moment, before looking at the Map.
Mark: Okay, We departed Westside Island here, Lightsped all the way to the Elemental South Pole, Then stopped at the Southern Air Temple… Oh boy, we've got a long way to go before we reach Caer Daythl.
Jack: We've got a long way to go until we reach Europe!
Dipper: What are we supposed to do until then?
Mark: Well, First we should focus on procuring more provisions, hide out for a while, try and get in contact with Caer Daythl, if we can… Gonna need a place to do all that.
Aang: I think I know just the place!
And with that, he tugged on Appa's reins and the flying biason soared off to their latest destination.
Later.
Soon they arrived on the shore of an unfamiliar island.
Sokka: I don't see the need to be here.
Katara: Yeah at this rate, We won't make it to Caer Dathyl by spring time.
Jack: Are you that sure we're being hunted at the moment, Mark?
Mark: We have a powerful rellac that in the wrong hands could bring total destruction and a ten year old Savior, How could we not be hunted?
Dipper: Good point.
Aang was about to join in the conversation, before something in the ocean caught his attention and made him gasp.
Aang: Look!
Everyone looked to what Aang was pointing to and saw A giant koi fish jump out of the water.
Aang: Thank Air we stopped here!
He quickly began to remove his clothes.
Jack: Elephant Koi.
Aang: and I'm gonna ride it.
Mark: Wait what?!
Due to the fact that we did not want to waste time, We decided to skip ahead. If you don't like it, Well life just ain't fair now is it?
Aang: Did we just do a time skip?
Mark: Aang! You get back here this instant!
An enormous serrated fin pops up from behind Aang, The last airbender looked Behind him and screamed.
Aang: AAAHHHH!
Aang quickly Leaped on the surface and ran towards the shore with the fin behind him, eventually reaching the shore, while the large fin returned to the sea.
Dipper: What was that thing?
Jack: I don't know… But it seemed familiar.
Mark: Well, We can't stick around to find out, Let's go before something else happens.
At that exact moment though, Several Green Clad Warriors jumped out from the trees and surrounded the team, in quick precision, they disarmed them of their Weapons, and bound them all together with rope and blindfolds.
Mark: Or we could stay for a while.
Later.
Dipper felt himself being tied to a large post as he heard voices speaking to him.
Voice 1: You all have some explaining to do.
Voice 2: And if you don't answer all our questions, we're throwing you back in the water with the unagi.
Dipper: Who are you people?!
At that moment, Dipper's blindfold was removed, and before him stood five green clad girls with painted faces.
Sokka: Who are you? Where are the men who ambushed us?
Lead girl: There were no men just us, Now tell us, who are you and what are you doing here?
Sokka: Wait a second, there's no way a bunch of girls ambushed us.
Lead girl: A bunch of girls huh? (Grabs Sokka.) The unagis gonna eat well tonight.
Katara: No wait, He didn't mean, He's an idiot.
Mark: We were just stopping by for a rest, we would have been on our way shortly if your troops hadn't ambushed us.
Oyagi: How do we know you're not spies for a villain faction? Kyoshi has had no incursions with the forces of evil for years, and we intend to keep it that way.
Aang: This island is named for Kyoshi?
Oyagi: Hah! How could you possibly know that?
Dipper: Well, How could you know Kyoshi?
Oyagi: Avatar Kyoshi, was born here four hundred years ago. She's been dead for centuries.
Vana: He knows her because he's the Avatar.
Lead girl: That's impossible, the Avatar was an airbender who disappeared years ago.
Aang: Yep that's me!
Oyagi: Throw the imposter to the unagi!
The warriors unsheathed their fans and moved menacingly towards the team.
Katara: Aang, Now would be a good time to do some airbending!
Aang manages to break his bonds and shoots over the statue of Kyoshi and then landed before the village.
Oyagi: It's true… You are the Avatar…
Aang: Now… Check this out.
Aang then pulled out a small bag of stones and began airbending them in his hand, looking at the village with a goofy face, The village cheered and jumped for joy, One of them evan screamed like a girl until he foamed in the mouth and fell, Dib was disturbed by that.
Dib: Is that one okay?
Lead girl: He's fine.
Oyagi: And if he's the Avatar… Are you?
Mark: Yes… We are of the Freedom watch.
There was a long pause… No one really cheered.
Mark: You know… The… Ancient global… Order of warriors/peacekeep-
Oyagi: Y-Yeah, we know who you are, We just… didn't think you'd be epic about it.
Mark: Oh.
As the Villagers welcomed their new guests,
Little girl: Did you hear the news? The Avatar is on Kyoshi, With the Freedom Watch!
Fisherman: Huh?
The Fisherman heard everything from the girl, and when he set sail a few hours later, He told a merchant, Who told one of his own customers, and soon enough word traveled fast, but unfortunately, all the way to Zuko.
Zuko: The Freedom Watch are on Kyoshi? Uncle! Prepare the Rhinos, They are not getting away from me again!
He rose from his table and made his way to leave the room, while Iroh looked at his uneaten fish.
Iroh: Are you going to finish that?
Zuko promptly entered the room and snatched up his fish.
Zuko: I was gonna save it for later.
And he walked off again, leaving Iroh to pout.
Meanwhile,
Back on Kyoshi Island, things were in high spirits, the old statue of Avatar Kyoshi was being refurbished, Appa was given a much needed bath and the Heroes got a whole cabin to themselves, served richly food on a long wooden table, all for them to enjoy.
Aang: Alright! Dessert for breakfast!
Dib: I haven't eaten anything good for days!
Mac: These people sure know food when they make it.
Dipper noticed Sokka sulking in a corner.
Dipper: What's Sokka's Problem?
Sokka: I'm not hungry.
Jack: Well that's a first.
Katara: He's just upset because a bunch of girls kicked his ass yesterday.
Sokka: They Snuck up on me!
Katara: Right. And then they kicked your ass.
Sokka: Sneak Attacks Don't count!
Dipper: They Don't?
Sokka just stormed away, grumbling to himself.
Sokka: Tie me up with ropes, I'll show them a thing or two.
He then immediately came back and grabbed some food, before walking off again.
Sokka: I'm not scared of any girls! Who do they think they are anyway? Mmm… this is tasty…
Dib turned to Vana.
Dib: You wanna go watch him get his ass kicked again?
Vana: Do I?
And with that, Both she and Dib followed him.
Katara: What do you guys think?
Aang: I love it here! I feel like we're getting the royal treatment here.
Mark: Now don't get too comfortable, We won't stay here for long.
Mac: We'll be fine, as long as we don't lose the Chaos Emerald
Dipper: The Chaos Emerald?
Mac: Yeah you… You have it right?
Dipper: Of course, It's right here in my…
He reached inside his pockets for the emerald and felt nothing, his face suddenly went pale, Mac quickly took note of this.
Mac: Hey Dip… You okay?
Dipper looked at Mac, before whispering.
Dipper: Mac, Can we talk in private?
Confused, Mac and Dipper went to the bedroom and Dipper than spoke.
Dipper: I… Don't have it…
Mac: What?
Dipper: I lost it.
Mac: You lost it?!
Dipper: I LOST THE EMERALD!
Both immediately started to scream and hyperventilate at the same time until Jack came into the room.
Jack: What are you two going nuts over?
Dipper: Uh, Er nothing.
Mac: We're fine, Totally fine.
Jack: Well… Alright, the Lieutenant and I are gonna go talk with the village leader to see if we can make contact with Caer Dathyl, You two keep the Emerald safe and keep out of trouble.
Both: Okay…
And soon, Jack left the room.
Dipper: We gotta find the Emerald!
Meanwhile,
Sokka made his way up to a small hut, muttering to himself about girls, Dib and Vana watched from behind him.
Dib: I bet you five bucks that He gets his ass kicked the moment he says something stupid something stupid.
Vana: You're on!
Sokka, who was unaware of their presence, Looked inside the hut and saw the Warriors training with fans. He entered the room, a sardonic smile on his face.
Sokka: Sorry ladies, I didn't mean to interrupt your dance lesson, I was just looking for somewhere to get a little workout.
Suki: Well, you're in the right place. Sorry about yesterday, I didn't know you were friends with the Avatar or affiliated with the Freedom Watch.
Sokka: It's all right, I mean normally I'd hold a grudge, but seeing as you guys are a bunch of girls I'll make an exception.
Suki: I should hope so, A big strong man like you? We wouldn't stand a chance.
Sokka: True, But don't feel bad, After all, I'm the best warrior in my tribe.
Dib: He's the only warrior in his tribe…
Suki: Wow, Best Warrior huh? In your whole village? Maybe you'd be kind enough to give us a little demonstration.
Sokka: Oh… Well… I mean… I…
Suki: C'mon girls, Wouldn't you like him to show us some moves?
The girls giggled at this.
Sokka: Well if that's what you want, I'd be happy to, All right, You stand over there
He pushed her back a bit, before winding up to throw a basic punch.
Sokka: Now this may be a little tough, But try to block me.
Sokka proceeded to throw the intended punch, but Suki Blocked it with her fan against his shoulder, Sokka stumbled back, rubbing his injured shoulder, he chuckled ruefully.
Sokka: Hehe… Good… Of course I was going easy on you.
DIb and Vana chuckled from outside the hut as they watched.
Suki: Of course.
Sokka: Let's see If you can handle this!
Sokka then threw a kick, Suki caught it and threw him off causing him to land on his butt, Dib and Vana burst out laughing.
Sokka: That Does It!
As Sokka got to his feet, he lunged at Suki! Who grabbed him by the arm and spun him around in circles, Sokka screamed as Suki tied his own belt to his arm and foot and threw him to the floor.
Dib and Vanna: Whoa…
Suki: Anything else you wanna teach us?
Meanwhile,
Back at the hut, Dipper and Mac had managed to calm down, Mark was out trying to get Communication up, Katara was getting provisions, Aang was doing… whatever, and Jack went to look for Dib, Vana and Sokka, leaving the two of them alone with Momo.
Dipper: Okay, If we're gonna find the Emerald, We need to retrace our steps. Luckily one of the Kyoshi Warriors managed to get me a map of the island.
Dipper pulled out a map and set it on the Table in front of them.
Dipper: Now, Where did we land?
Mac: Hmm…
Mac scanned the map, then pointed to the shore.
Mac: That's where we landed, Just before the Kyoshi Warriors attacked us.
Dipper: And Blindfolded us.
Mac: What if they have it?
Dipper: What? What do you mean? They can't have stolen it from us, All they did was tie us up, Besides if they did have it they would have said something.
Mac: Well just because they haven't said something, Doesn't mean they're not hiding it.
Dipper: Even if they did, What would they do with it?
Mac: How would you know?
Dipper: I was the one carrying it.
Mac: So?
Dipper: So, If they took it from me, I would've known.
Mac: So what are we supposed to do, Search the place we landed?
Later.
Later, without anyone noticing, Dipper, Mac and Momo arrived back at the shore, with shovels.
Dipper: Okay, Just keep your eyes peeled for something Green and shiny.
Meanwhile… As usual.
Sokka Dib and Vana stood as Jack finished talking to Sokka outside the Warrior Girls hut before walking in.
Sokka: Uhh… Hey Suki.
Suki: Back for another dance lesson?
Sokka: No… I… Let me explain.
Suki: Spit it out, What do you want?
Sokka Looked back at Dib, Vana and Jack, the latter of whom gave Sokka a hard look, as if expecting him to do something, Sokka sighed, then got to one knee.
Sokka: I would be honored if you would teach me.
Suki: Even if I'm a girl?
Sokka: I'm sorry If I insulted you earlier, I was Wrong.
Vana: No shit.
Suki: We normally don't teach outsiders, Let alone boys.
Dib: Then why is there a boy behind you?
Kyoshi Warrior: I'm also a girl!
Dib: Oh.
Suki: But I think we can make an exception, On one condition, He has to follow all of our traditions.
Sokka: Okay.
Suki: And I mean, ALL of them.
And so..
A few moments later, Sokka was dressed in the same warrior's dress and face paint as Suki.
Sokka: Do I really have to wear this? It feels… Girly.
Suki: It's a warrior's uniform, You should be proud, The silk thread symbolizes the blood that flows through our veins, The gold insignia represents the honor of a warrior's heart.
Sokka stood proudly at this.
Sokka: Bravery and Honor.
Aang: Hey Sokka, Nice dress.
Sokka slumped in annoyance.
Meanwhile,
Dipper: Found anything?
Mac: No…
Dipper: It has to be somewhere, keep looking.
Dipper continued searching the ground.
Mac: Maybe We left it on Appa.
Dipper: No! The villagers would have found that, It has to be here, Keep looking!
And kept looking they did.
Meanwhile,
Meanwhile, Suki was teaching Sokka Kyoshi warrior techniques while Dib and Vana watched from the side.
Suki: You're not going to master it in one day, even I'm not that good.
Sokka: I think I'm starting to get it.
Sokka Continued the moves until he threw his fan out the window, and it hit Dib.
Dib: OW!
Suki: It's not about strength, Our technique is about using your opponent's force against them, loosening up, think of the fan as an extension of your arm
She Assumes a battle stance.
Suki: Wait for an opening then…
Suki trailed off as she lunged at Sokka, who shockingly parried Suki and knocked her off her feet.
Dib and Vana: Whoa.
Suki looked flustered.
Suki: I fell on purpose to make you feel better!
Sokka: I got you! Admit I got you!
Suki then got up, grabbed Sokka's arm and bent it back painfully, Making Dib and Vana wince.
Sokka: Okay, It was a lucky shot.
Satisfied with his answer, She let his hand go.
Suki: Let's see if you can do it again.
Meanwhile,
Dipper and Mac trudging along the beach looking very exhausted
.
Dipper: Let's face it Mac, We don't know where it is.
Mac: Yeah, We're screwed.
Dipper: … I can't believe we just lost the most powerful relic in the world, I'm such an Idiot.
Mac: Hey, don't beat yourself over it, Everybody screws up every now and then, take me for example, I nearly blow things up 24/7, Heck I even ended up expelled from grade school.
Dipper: Really?
Mac: Yeah, you see… everybody…
Dipper: No, No, I meant you getting expelled from grade school, If you were expelled, How did you end up in the freedom watch?
Mac: I was… Homeschooled for the last three years after my explosion, Then I was allowed in public school, Threw in with your uncle, He and I graduated and joined the Freedom Watch.
Dipper: Wow.
Mac: Yeah.
Before their conversation could continue, they suddenly heard Aang and Katara scream!
Dipper: What was that?
Mac: Aang! Katara!
He and Dipper quickly ran off to find them, with Momo following close behind, soon they arrived at where Aang and Katara are currently cornered by the unagi, Just as it sunk back into the water.
Dipper: What was that?!
They quickly ran over to Aang and Katara, who were breathing heavily.
Aang: I was… trying to ride the Unagi… Didn't really work out…
Mac: Are you two okay?
Aang: Yeah, We're fine, I think it got tired and left.
Dipper looked over the rocks and saw what really happened.
Dipper: Or maybe it was scared off, Look!
Mac and Katara followed his gaze and gasped.
Katara: Zuko!
A familiar fire nation ship was sailing towards the island , it landed on the shore, at that moment, Prince Zuko came out with his troops on rhinos.
Zuko: I want the Avatar alive, Kill the Freedom Watch!
Mac: Hide!
The four hid behind some rocks as Zuko and His troops passed by on Armored Rhino's.
Katara: We have to warn the village!
Dipper: What were guys doing out here to begin with?
Aang: Riding Unagi, You?
Dipper: Uhhh…
Mac: We lost the Emerald.
Aang and Katara: What!?
Meanwhile,
Sokka parried another thrust from Suki.
Suki: Not bad.
At that moment, Jack and Oyagi ran in!
Oyagi: Firebenders have landed on our shores!
Jack: Where are the others!
Dib: We've been here all day!
Jack: Well don't just sit there, Find Them, Quick!
Meanwhile,
Zuko and his minions rode into town, They stood at the Town's square as Zuko called out.
Zuko: Come out, Avatar! You can't hide forever!
He turned to his men.
Zuko: Find him.
At this command, The troops begin searching the town for Aang, but as they did so, they were immediately set up by the Kyoshi warriors, knocking them off their mounts, as Mark, Jack and Suki moved to engage Zuko Themselves, Mark clashed with a fire nation swordsman, while Jack fought another, leaving Suki to head straight for Zuko, she dodged his attacks, andJumpsed in the air to Attack him, only for Zuko to turns his rhino around and swat her with its tail, As Suki hits the ground, Zuko was upon her and aimed a fireball at her, but than, Sokka came in and deflects the fireball, Knocking Zuko off his rhino.
Sokka: I guess training time is over.
Sokka, Suki, Mark and Kyoshi Warrior immediately Cornered Zuko, he spun around shooting fire and knocked them away.
Zuko: Nice Try Avatar! But these little girls can't save you.
Aang: Over here!
Zuko turned to see Aang, standing at the other side of the village.
Zuko: Now I've got you.
Zuko then shot fire balls at Aang, who Evaded the fireballs, and fellow into the air with his staff, which Zuko promptly knocked out of his hand, Aang proceeded to pick up two discarded fans, and used them to shoot a big gust of wind at Zuko, the impact knocking him into one the village houses, this didn't stop the fire nation from continuing their attack, however, Mark got to his feet and called to Katara and Jack.
Mark: Katara! Get everyone inside! Jack, rally the others!
Mac was immediately on the scene, firing a large Blaster against the Fire Nation troops.
Mac: Push em back Kids!
He threw some shotguns to Dipper and Dib, who joined him in repelling Zuko's men, driving them back to the village square, One Soldier managed to avoid the firing range and found himself being Roundhoused kicked by Vana, than the Fire Benders came in and absorbed the shots with bursts of flame, allowing the small reprieve to advance a little.
Katara: Get inside.
Katara Ushered a group of girls into one of the non destroyed houses, just as Aang appeared next to her.
Aang: Look what we brought to this place, These people got their homes destroyed protecting us.
Katara: Then let's get out of here, Zuko will leave Kyoshi to follow us.
Aang: But where are we supposed to go?
Katara: Mark has that figured out, We just need to go.
Aang: Right, I'll get Appa.
Dipper: But what about the Emerald?
Mac: Forget the Emerald!
The Kyoshi Warriors and Firebenders continued to clash as Sokka and Suki hid behind one of the houses.
Suki: You have got out of here, It's you and your friends they want.
Sokka: But I wanna say I'm sorry first.
Suki: For what?
Sokka: I treated you like a girl when I should have treated you like a warrior.
Suki: I am a warrior.
She Kissed Sokka's Check.
Suki: But I'm a girl too.
Sokka was surprised.
Suki: Now go, Get out of here, We'll hold them off.
As Suki joined the fight, Sokka hurried over to the rest of the team as they boarded Appa.
Aang: Yip Yip!
Appa flew up into the air and was seen by Zuko.
Zuko: Back to the Ship! Don't lose sight of them!
Appa continued to fly away as the Team looked back at the partially destroyed town.
Dipper: I can't believe we left them…
Mark: They'll be fine.
Aang: I know what to do.
Aang then let go of Appa's reins and dived into the water, Katara quickly took hold of them.
Katara: Aang! What are you doing!?
Aang dropped into the water with a splash! Everyone stared in shock at this, and then, Out from the water, burst the Unagi! And on it was Aang! Pulling on the whiskers and using the creature to put the fires on the town out, Also Soaking Zuko and his minions.
Jack: Great Scott!
Aang then proceeded to jump off the Unagi and into Appa's armsA as they flew off into the Horizon, Oyagi watched them leave with a thankful gaze.
Oyagi: Thank you Freedom Watch.
Aang Climbed back onto Appa and rejoined the others..
Aang: Well, good days work right?
Mac: Did you and Jack make contact with Caer Dathyl?
Mark: No, But Oyagi still managed to be of some help.
Mark then pulled out a small golden gem.
Sokka: What is that?
Mark: This is a warp gem, A magical item that allows for quick teleportation anywhere on the globe.
The team gasped and awed.
Vana: Those are a rare item.
Jack: And quite tricky too.
Mark: Yeah, and it's only got enough juice to get us to Europe, Somewhere the Villains can't catch up with us. Or find the Chaos Emerald.
Dipper and Mac Started looking Pale at the Chaos Emeralds mention.
Dib: What's wrong?
Dipper: Oh… Well you see… The Emerald.
Jack: Oh yeah, I was holding onto it for ya.
Jack then reached into his cloak and pulled out the Emerald.
Jack: Sorry about that.
Dipper and Mac both stared at it, and then fainted in relief.
End.

Edit: And there you have it folks, The newest rewrite of this story, The Warp Gem thing was something I came up with on the fly and as a explanation on how The Team ended up from the Earth Kingdom, all the way to Paris, France, In the original, Mark just had a Map that led them to convoluted hiding places, Not every geographically possible, And to be fair, a lot of the world building has bean… lackluster, But I hope to turn things around now and try and fill in a few plot holes in the stories.
