Chapter 25: Week 3: Part 2!
On Zing's Ship...
Lincoln and his team were running as fast as they could to Zing's throne room.
Their mission: To rescue Roger!
"Hang on Roger!" Lincoln thought to herself as the group rounded around a corner. "The cavalry is coming to get you. I just hope that we don't run into... too much resistance."
The group then saw what looked like to be two battalions of guards at the end of the next hallway they skidded around into it.
The guards saw them and readied their energized spears.
"Halt!" one of the guards demanded, holding up his spear. "Surrender and turn back now."
"Sorry, but we're done taking orders from your boss." Leggy said, getting into a fight stance as she joined her boyfriend at his right side. "Let us pass or face the consequences!"
"You are not rescuing that goddamn traitor!" another guard snapped as he held up his spear.
"Yeah!" Another guard said. "Even if you get pass us, you'll have even more of us to contend with!"
Holly then summoned her whip as she then spoke. "Let's show these pests who's really running things today."
"Let's not kill them though." Lincoln reminded the agate. "We're better then that."
"I'm with him on that." Mrs. Murphy said.
"Acknowledged, my Diamond." Holly said.
"Please, just call me Lincoln." The man with the plan responded. "Calling me your diamond's a little... disturbing."
"Understood, my Di... I mean Lincoln." Holly said, correcting herself.
The guards, having had enough of the group's banter, let out a war cry as they charged at the group, who reciprocated in kind by charging at the superior numbers of Zing's henchmen...
Back on Earth, Langley Falls...
At the Smith House, Stan and his family consisting of his wife Francine, his son Steve, his daughter Hayley, his son in law Jeff Fischer and their talking goldfish Klaus, were all in the living room watching television, all being rather bored while doing so.
Stan, Francine, Steve and Hayley were sitting on the couch while Jeff sat in one of the chairs next to it and Klaus was in his fishbowl on living room table.
Normally, when the Smiths were bored or disinterested in something, Roger would suddenly show up either in a persona or under the influence of whatever drug he would be on, be it either drunk or high off his ass, or sometimes both at the same time and announce whatever petty and pointless scheme he's cooked up for the day.
Francine then spoke up. "I can't believe we did that to Roger." She stated sadly. "I'm starting to miss him."
Steve spoke up after his mother said that. "Me too. He may have been a selfish pain in the ass, but he was part of our family."
"So do I." Hayley said sadly as she looked at the floor.
"He may have been a sociopath, but he was a charming one." Jeff said as he grasped his wife's hand.
Stan let out a scoff at his family's emotional weakness. "Don't." He said coldly, shocking his family by his non caring way he said that. "He's been nothing but a security risk that we've been to lenient with!"
"How can you say that?!" Francine said in shock.
"Oh come on Francine! You know it's true!" Stan said in annoyance. "Roger has caused more chaos in Langley Falls than any of us do. He was going get himself caught out of costume sooner or later either through his own ignorance or the CIA's extreme persistence and you know what's going to happen if he did!"
Steve put his hand on his father's shoulder, making him look down at his son. "But he was part of our family, dad. Doesn't that matter to you in any way?!"
"He wasn't family Steve." Stan rebuffed as he rolled his eyes, brushing his son's hand off his shoulder. "He was nothing but a terrorist that was putting our family in danger."
"He may have been a sociopath, but we loved him regardless!" Hayley shouted as she jumped up from the couch.
"I'm with you, Stan." Klaus said in his natural German accent, gaining the family's attention. "I'm glad that asshole is where he belongs."
"See, at least Klaus gets where I'm coming from." Stan said as he got up from the couch. "Roger was nothing but a cowardly, self centered, narcissistic, and childish hindrance that was plaguing our lives. So whatever happens to him isn't our problem!"
Stan then stormed towards the door, before he then placed his hand on the doorknob. Before he opened the door, he said one more thing.
"If he comes back, though I doubt he can or even will, I'll be sure to kill him myself." The big chinned man said, not turning to face his family. "Because I'd rather die than let you all get killed by the CIA on my watch. It's depressing how stupid you all are to not realize that."
Without another word, he opened the door and slammed it shut, leaving his family in a state of shock and anger.
"How can Dad be so cruel?" Hayley asked her appalled family. "Shouldn't he be grateful? I mean Roger did save his life a few times, even back when they first met."
"Yeah." Steve interjected. "Not to mention that he saved our lives a couple of times too. Granted, he mostly did out of his own self interest or because of his love for us, but he still did it."
"I'm sure Stan does miss Roger, he's just being stubborn about it." Francine said. "You know how he can be when he suppresses his emotions."
That was true. Whenever something emotional happens, Stan would act either indifferent or act like he didn't give a crap and hide his true feelings on the situation presented to him until it was too late. Like the time when Roger fell into a hibernation state and everyone thought that he was dead. Stan at that time, only cared about burning everything that Roger has purchased over the years as to prevent the CIA from tracing it back to the Smiths and getting them all killed for harboring an otherworldly fugitive.
Stan, despite the traditional american way he values, he isn't above using his CIA connections to get what he wants, be it for sickening laughs or whenever he feels threatened. Like when Francine shows some independence on something or when his kids do something to embarrass their family name.
The latter feeling being the most consent like when Francine opened a muffin kiosk and Stan felt like he was losing her as a housewife or the time when Hayley broke up with Jeff after having a strange dream and wanted to move to France to purse a new life or when Steve challenged him to be head of the family.
The family was soon brought out of thinking when Jeff spoke up.
"What are we suppose to do?" Jeff asked. "We get Roger back without the CIA getting involved somehow."
That made Steve think of something, before an idea then clicked into his head.
"I have an idea but I doubt it's going to work."
"What plan is that?" Jeff asked in curiosity.
"At this point, I'm willing to try anything." Francine said.
"Alright, here's what we do?" Steve began before he gestured for the human members of his family to the kitchen, Klaus get a little worried.
"Oh, I have a bad feeling about this..." Klaus said nervously.
Royal Woods, around the same time...
After about 30 minutes of driving, the Loud family arrived at Lynn's game, which was being held in the back of Royal Woods Middle School.
"Finally, we're here!" Lynn said, relieved as she began to stretch her arms and legs.
"I literally agree." Lori said as she began to rub her legs. "My legs feel really numb."
"Well, that's the price you pay when you sit in a chair for a long time." Luna said, rubbing her back to ease the numb feeling in it.
"At least we're here." Lynn Sr. said as he opened up the van's door from his side.
"Let's head inside and get to our seats." Rita said, also getting out of the van.
As the family was walking, some members of the family began to talk among themselves. Whether it was Lola bragging about her upcoming pageant that she was going to win, or Luna getting excited over an upcoming concert that she wanted to do.
Eventually, the large family made it to the back of the school as Lynn ran to the locker room as the rest of family went to their seats on the benches.
A few minutes later, Lynn and the rest of her team ran out onto the field as the game, (the game being football) began.
As the game began, Leni, Luan and Lucy were looking around and saw the back of the heads of some familiar faces in the crowd below and above them.
"Great, looks like Bobby and Ronnie Anne are here." Luan groaned to herself quietly, pointing at the two Santiago siblings sitting a few columns below them, watching the game.
"Not just that but it looks like Clyde is here too." Leni said quietly to the comedian sitting next to her, pointing at Lincoln's best friend who was sitting above them but sitting a few chairs behind them.
"What do we do?" Lucy whispered to the two as she was sitting next to them as she turned to Luan before asking. "Do we bring them in on this or leave them in the dark?"
Luan thought about this for a few moments. On one hand, having Clyde, Bobby, and Ronnie Anne would benefit them as they could potentially have more supporters on their side in helping them get Lincoln back to Earth, despite the fact that the three would have to confess to them what they've done. But on the other hand, Clyde and most definitely Bobby, would back Lori up considering that the former had had a crush on her for who knows how long and the latter is currently dating their eldest sister.
And Ronnie, oh boy, that's someone that she didn't to be in the cross hairs of. Not just because she's Lincoln's friend and she cares about him, but because of she can do when she's angry as told from tales about her from various students from Royal Woods Elementary.
But seeing that they were going reveal everything to the public anyways, might as well get it over with and tell those three.
"Might as well, I mean. We're going to reveal everything anyway. Might as well tell them now and deal with the fallout before anything else." Luan whispered to the two sisters.
Leni and Lucy nodded as they sat back and waited until most of people in the crowd including their family were immersed into the game that was happening below them.
Just then, a problem occurred in their heads.
How were they going to get Bobby to come with them when Lori was pretty much watching him right now?
Lucy spoke quietly. "I can get him to come by talking to Ronnie Anne. I'll be quick." The goth explained. "You girls ready for this?"
The two nodded as they began to enact their plan.
Leni cleared her throat a bit before she spoke. "Mom, is it okay if me, Lucy and Luan go to the bathroom?"
"Sure, honey just please don't take too long okay." Rita said, not taking her eyes off the game she was watching.
The three girls got up from their seats ran down the steps.
Peeking behind the benches, Lucy eyed the Santiago siblings.
"Okay, wait here you two. I'll be right back." Lucy said.
With the slithering of a snake, Lucy slid underneath the seats of the people in the row until she reached her two targets as she popped her head out from Ronnie's chair.
"Pssh, Ronnie Anne." Lucy whispered just loud enough for the two Mexican siblings to hear.
"What the-" The tough girl began before Lucy placed a finger on her mouth, gesturing for the two Santiago kids to keep their voices down.
"Lucy, what are you doing under there?" Bobby asked quietly.
"Listen, I don't have much time so I'll get straight to the point." The goth whispered. "I need you two and Clyde to come with me the outside of the school's bathrooms. Don't let rest of my family know."
"What for?" Ronnie Anne asked curiously.
"I'll tell you guys and Clyde everything." Lucy said quietly. "Just please come with me."
Bobby and Ronnie looked at each other at goth's pleading request for a few moments. Whatever was going on must've been really serious if it got the normally calm, cool and collected goth this worked up.
"All right." Bobby said, before picking up his phone once more. "I'll just text Lori saying that I am going to the bathroom. That'll give us a few minutes."
The goth nodded, "Thank you." She said before turning to Lincoln's former bully. "Ronnie Anne, you need to text Clyde and tell him this too."
"On it." The Santiago tomboy said quietly as she pulled out her phone.
"We'll be waiting."Lucy said as she began to slip away.
Once the goth was out of earshot, Bobby turned to his young sister and asked just one question.
"Pardon my language, sis. But do you have any idea what the hell is going with the Louds?"
"I'm just as out of the loop as you are, bro." Ronnie said quietly as she just finished her text message and sent it to Lincoln's nerdy best friend, who was confused but decided to just go along with it.
Clyde then got out of his seat. "I'm going to the bathroom." He told his father Howard.
"Okay, just don't get lost." One of the nerd's two dads said.
Seeing Clyde walk right past them as he went to the bathroom gave Ronnie and Bobby the perfect opportunity to do the same.
Unbeknownst to the three, one person saw what they were up to and chose follow them silently: Lana.
After a few minutes of waiting, Clyde, Ronnie and Bobby found Lucy, as well as Luan and Leni waiting outside the women's bathroom.
"Alright you three, we're here." Ronnie said, crossing her arms. "Mind telling us what's up?"
"Took the words right out of my mouth, sis." Bobby said.
"My thoughts exactly, Santiago." Clyde said as he looked a bit queasy in his stomach.
"Alright, alright, I'm sure you three have a lot of questions and I promise that we'll answer everything, but we can't do it out here. People will hear us." Luan said. "Let's get into the bathroom and we'll explain ourselves."
Upon hearing that caused Clyde and Bobby to get a bit nervous.
Ronnie had noticed their nervousness and couldn't help roll her eyes. "Get your minds out of the gutter you creeps. It's not for that reason."
"It's not that, Ronnie Anne." Bobby said. "It's just... what if walks in? A woman might get the wrong idea and call security."
"Yeah, and I don't want to be blacklisted as something I don't want to be classified as." Clyde said.
"Don't worry. It'll be real quick." Leni said. "We promise."
Without another word, the six of them went into the female bathroom.
Once they took a moment to realize that the bathroom was completely empty, Bobby decided to say something.
"Okay, what's so important that you three had to be all secretive and plan this little rendezvous with us behind your family's back?"
Lucy, deciding to not beat around and just be out with it, spoke up.
"It's about Lincoln." She said in a tone that was filled with guilt.
The three youngster's eyes widen at the mention of their white haired friend's name.
Clyde ran towards Lucy and grabbed her by the shoulders before he spoke in a absolutely worried tone as he assaulted her (and her two older sisters by extension) with a flurry of questions that instantly formed in his brain. "Lincoln?! Where is he?! Is he alright?! Why didn't he come with you guys to Lynn's game?!"
Bobby and Ronnie ran to the freaking out boy and pulled him off of the goth as he was shaking her vigorously.
"Calm down, Clyde." Bobby said as he held the McBride boy back. "Maybe we should let them explain first before we jump to any conclusions."
"Bobby's right." Ronnie said as she held Clyde back as well. "Save the freaking out for later. Freaking out now isn't going to help."
Upon hearing that, Clyde began to take very deep breaths to calm his fast speeding nerves. Ronnie patting his has to help him.
After almost two minutes, Clyde's nervous system was back to its calm state.
"Better?" Luan asked in concern.
"Y-Yeah..." The nerdy boy panted. "Sorry for that little freakout earlier."
"It's fine." Leni spoke kindly. "We get it. Cause what we're about to tell you is really shocking."
"What would that be?" Ronnie asked, not liking where this is going.
Before they could speak, they all heard the door open behind Bobby, Clyde and Ronnie Anne.
Looking behind them, they saw that it was Lana, who had a look of resolve on her face.
"Hey guys..." The young mechanic said meekly. "What'd I miss?"
"Well, your sisters were just about to tell us something." Bobby said as he crossed his arms. "Something about your only brother..."
Deciding that enough waiting was enough, Ronnie Anne shouted three simple words.
"Where! Is! Lincoln?!" The Santiago girl demanded.
"WE DON'T KNOW, OKAY!" Leni shouted, tears streaming down her face. "He's gone!"
"And it's all because of us!" Luan stated as tears began to well up in her eyes.
"Gone?!" Clyde asked in fear.
"Because of you girls, why?!" Ronnie Anne demanded, resisting the urge to go up to three and strangle them until they talked.
Suddenly, a loud whistling sound erupted, causing everyone to cover their ears to blocks out the sound.
After a few seconds, the whistling came to a stop. Everyone looked to see that it was Bobby who made the whistling sound.
"Okay, okay. Let's all just calm down." Bobby insisted as he turned to the two distressed sisters. "Why don't you girls just start from the beginning?"
Lana then cleared her throat, gaining everyone's attention.
"I'll go. If you want to know what happened to Lincoln, I'll just come right out and say it." The tomboy began before she took a deep breath as she dropped the bombshell.
"Lincoln isn't on Earth anymore."
Clyde's eyes widened as he asked, "You mean he's de-"
Lana instantly knew what her brother's best friend was going to and waved her arms defensively. "He's not dead!" She quickly stated before then replying with. "At least, I hope he's not."
"So if he's not on Earth and he's not dead, then where the hell is the little Loud?!" Bobby asked, gritting his teeth in tranquil anger.
"He's... in space." Lucy admitted hesitantly. "We... shot him into space."
At that moment, the pupils in Clyde, Ronnie Anne and Bobby's eyes shrank as their eyes went as wide as they could. They could not believe what they just heard. They honestly thought that the four Loud sisters were joking, but as they saw the looks of guilt, remorse and regret on the sisters' faces, it must have been true.
Finally, after what seemed like ages of processing this newly acquired information, Bobby was the first to speak despite being completely and utterly shell shocked.
"You..." He began.
"Did..." Ronnie Anne continued from there, equally shocked.
"WHAT?!" Clyde finished as he shouted at the top of his lungs, with Bobby and Ronnie Anne joining him in saying that last word to express their shock at what they just heard coming out of the goth sister's mouth.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Luan pleaded. "Please allow us to explain before you do something reckless."
"Fine, you have 30 seconds..." Ronnie said with barely restrained anger as she clenched her fists and gritted her teeth.
"30 seconds?" Leni began to say. "But we-"
"GO!" The three angry youths demanded the four sisters.
"It-It all started when Lynn threatened Lincoln to go to one of her baseball games. When he did, she ended up bombing it. When we got home later, Lincoln chose to lie about being back luck cause Lynn called him that. It eventually got to the point where we chose to kick him out of our lives, out of the house and off the planet entirely because we were so stupid to believe Lynn's superstitions!" Leni explained quickly.
"Wait, so Lincoln pretended to be bad luck." Clyde began, confused. "Why?"
"Well..." Lana began nervously. "We all have these events that take up almost whole months and we wanted Lincoln and everyone else to come because as Lori said "This family supports each other." Now that I think about it, that so hypocritical considering what we did to Lincoln."
"Okay, so what does Lynn threatening Lincoln into coming to one of her games factor into this?" Ronnie Anne asked as she wasn't surprised that Lynn would do that as she has seen for herself just how competitive and downright aggressive she can be at times..
"Three weeks ago before this game, I saw on my hidden video cameras that Lincoln was walking upstairs to his room and he was saying how he never gets any time to himself cause he goes to all of our events." Luan said. "Can't say I blame him though. Anyways, when Lincoln was about to go to his room, Lynn came up to him and ask him if he was going to come to her game. He politely declined saying that he was tired from all the other events he had to go to. Lynn obviously didn't care as she said that he hasn't gone to her game, saying what Lori said. When he continue to decline, she threatened to beat him with her baseball bat to get him to come to that stupid game."
Bobby was surprised as he then spoke. "Did Lincoln tell his parents about this?"
"No, but I think he didn't trust them enough to do that?" Luan said. "That's what I think at least?"
"Okay, then why did he lie about being back luck?" Clyde asked. "Did Lynn really call him that?"
"Yes, she is that petty." Lucy commented. "When Lynn lost that game, instead of getting over it she chose to blame Lincoln for her loss. One of the annoyances of being an athlete. As Leni said before, "
"Okay, Lynn's pettiness and refusal to accept her losses aside. Was Lincoln really kicked out of the house because he lied?" Bobby asked, disgusted at what the four did.
"Well, not at first. We really thought he was bad luck." Lana said sheepishly.
"What drove you girls and the rest of your family to make that decision?!" Bobby asked in utter disgust.
"Well, it wasn't our decision, it was our parents, Lynn and Lori." Luan said. "We weren't there when they made that decision. We only found out when me and Leni were searching through my cameras."
"And you girls just went along with it?!" Ronnie Anne asked, outraged. "If you girls knew about it, why didn't you stop them?!"
"Well, we have things to do that day they made that decision, so we weren't there when that decision was made." Leni said. "And it was way too late by the time we found out through the tape."
"So kicking him out of the house and shooting him into space was your parents, Lori's and Lynn's decision." Ronnie asked. "And you you guys just went along with it?"
"Yes." Lucy said. "And believe me, we regret it with every day that passes."
"Something tells me that wasn't the end of it." Clyde said.
"It's not." Leni said.
"Really, what could be worse than shooting my best friend into space?" Clyde asked.
"Lisa cloned him." Lana said.
"WHAT?!" Clyde and Ronnie said in absolute shock.
"WHAT ON GOD"S EARTH IS WRONG WITH YOUR FAMILY?!" Bobby hollered at the top of his lungs. causing most of the group to cover their ears to block out the volume of the rage filled question.
"Whoa, whoa, before you all assume something. I'm just going to say that she did it without any of us knowing." Leni said. "Like I was disgusted when Lisa announced that she was cloning Lincoln. I told my family off when she was about to do it and she did it regardless."
"To the point where she almost called the police on us." Lana said. "Lola even tackled her to the floor, that's how dire it was."
"Why didn't you call the cops after that?" Ronnie asked in annoyance.
"Cause it would've ruined our family." Leni said as she wiped a tear from her eyes. "Like we already lost Lincoln, I don't want to lose anyone else too."
"Because we have a plan to get back at them and if you want, we could use your help." Lucy said.
"I'm in." Lana said.
"Wait, why?" Lucy asked the mechanic.
"Cause like you Lucy, I'm also regretting what we did. Also, I overheard most of your conversation between each other in the van on the way here." Lana said as a tear streamed down her face. "I know you guys don't trust me but believe me hen I say that I'm really, really sorry for not doing anything to stop this madness. If helping you guys with whatever plan you have, I'll help you guys achieve it."
The three older girls then huddled together to whisper among themselves for a few moments as Lana, Bobby, Ronnie Anne and Clyde looked on in confusion and wonder.
A few moments later, the three girls turn back to the four as Luan spoke.
"Okay Lana, we'll trust you for now but don't blab about what we're doing. Got it?"
"Y-Yeah, I got it." Lana said. "I won't let you guys down. I promise."
With Lana's insistent to help assured, Luan turned to everyone else that was in the room.
"What about you guys?" The comedian asked.
"Of course we'll help, Chuckles." Ronnie asked, surprised that she had been asked that.
"If it means getting Lincoln back, then I'm in too." Clyde declared.
"Bobby?" Leni asked. "Something wrong?"
Bobby was quiet throughout most of the conversation as he struggled to comprehend the situation at hand. He couldn't believe that his babe as he would call her, his beloved girlfriend, his Lori, would do this to her own flesh and blood, her own family, her own brother without a second thought. When whatever plan Luan, Leni and Lucy have is over, he is definitely having a discussion with her.
Shaking his head, he spoke. "Y-Yeah, I'm in. I just hope you four are ready to accept the consequences of your family's actions."
"Whatever the law decides, we deserve it." Lucy said, resigning to whatever the public decides for her, her sisters, while dreading exactly what that would mean in the future, nodding profusely.
"Alright, everyone..." Luan said. "Here's we need to do..."
Danville, at the same time as this was all happening...
Zack and Melissa were shocked at what they saw at the bottom of the basement.
They saw that someone was tied up with rope to a chair and had his mouth covered with a rag. He had a long nose and brown hair. He was wearing a white lab coat and gray pants. He was ruffling around in his chair trying to break free but alas it was for not.
"Dr. D?!" The two teens said is shock as they rushed over to the chair and began to untie the ropes
Once the ropes were untied, Melissa grabbed the rag off the formerly evil scientist's mouth.
"Oh, wow. Thank you kids. I've been in that chair for... I don't how long. Anymore and I would've been a skeleton by now." Dr. Doofenshmirtz thanked the two teens in his natural German accent as he got up and rubbed his arms and legs to get the circulation of his blood flowing through them.
"Dr. D, what happened?" Zack asked.
"Yeah, we came here and this place was torn apart." Melissa said. "And what's worse is that Milo and family are missing."
"Missing?!" The scientist asked in shock. "How?"
"That's what we're trying find out." Melissa said. "Dr. D, do you remember anything, like who tied up and brought you down here?"
The scientist shook his head after thinking on his predicament for a few seconds. "No, I'm sorry but I don't remember anything. I just woke up like this for..." Suddenly a thought then occurred to him. "Wait, exactly how long have I been down here?"
"I think about three weeks." Zack said.
"Wait, three weeks?! Are you sure?" Doof asked.
"Yes, we're sure." Melissa said. "We're going to try and look for the rest of your family, do you think that you can whip up an inator that locate them and if they were kidnapped or whatever it is that happened to them?"
"Are you kidding, inventing those kinds of inators is my specialty." The soon to be Prof. Time stated proudly. "Now come on, let's get Milo and the rest of them back!"
Just then, Diogee burst through the door to the downstairs basement barking in a frenzy.
"What is it Diogee? What's got you spooked?" Doof asked in concern.
The dog pointed up at the stairs as the five suddenly heard the sizzling sound of an activated, fast paced, jet pack as someone rode it into the basement.
But it wasn't a someone but rather, it was a something.
It was a teal colored, short platypus that was wearing a brown fedora on his head.
Landing on the basement's floor, Zack approached the platypus in wonder.
"Perry?" The teen asked in confusion. "What are you doing here?"
"Zack, you know that he can't talk right?" Melissa said with deadpan expression on her face.
"Yeah, yeah, realized the moment I said it." The black teen responded with a sheepish grin.
Since he couldn't talk, the monotreme just gestured to the watch that was on his right arm as he pressed the purple button.
When the button was pressed it caused the screen to glow a flash of white light as it manifested into the holographic shape of an adult man with gray hair and a gray mustache and a big nose, wearing a militaristic uniform of some kind.
The hologram then spoke in a bit of a gruff tone. "Good morning, Agent P. Our surveillance cameras have conjured a case of mysterious disappearances and not just from Danville. From the town of Royal Woods, to Van Nuys to even Echo Creek and the outskirts of Beach City."
"So not just Milo and his family are missing." Zack whispered to Melissa, who nodded in agreement.
"I know this is a lot to ask of OWCA's best agent, but I'm going to leave the findings of these individuals to you since our other agents are currently busy." The hologram said to the platypus while the other four was listening in. "Here is the ones that are missing and need to find them." The hologram then pulled up pictures of the missing individuals as well as their names that were printed below their pictures as well as where they lived when they were on Earth.
The first image that came up was the image of a white haired boy that lived in the town called Royal Woods in the state of Michigan.
His name: Lincoln Loud.
"A kid?" Dr. D said in shock.
"Who'd kidnap a kid?" Melissa asked.
'I don't like the looks of this." Zack said.
The next was a big orange lady with a diamond shaped gem on her face who resided in the woods outside Beach City in the state of Delmarva.
Her name: Jasper.
"Woah, she is a big lady." Zack and Melissa said in unison.
"A strong one too by the looks of it." Doof agreed. "I have the sneaking suspicion that she is not human."
Perry chattered, seemingly in agreement to that.
The next image showed a picture of an adult man with messy hair and was wearing a black shirt that had the word 'jerk' in white letters and was all capitalized. He lived Van Nuys.
His name: Dan Mandel.
Perry chattered, indicating that something was off about this one. Like he was a criminal or something like that.
"He probably deserved to get kidnapped by probably some ticked off people who wanted revenge on him for whatever he did." Melissa said, unknowingly cracking the case on the individual.
"It's possible." Zack said. "Who's next?"
The next image were Milo and his family, who lived in Danville.
"Milo..." Melissa Zack and Doof thought in sadness, only forming their desire to get them back.
The next image that was shown was what appeared to be a 15 year old girl and a 14 year old boy that lived in Echo Creek.
Her name: Star Butterfly.
His name: Marco Daiz.
"They seem full of energy." Dr. D commented.
"Agreed." Zack said.
"Whoever kidnapped them must've held a grudge against them." Melissa said.
The next image that appeared before them was an adult man wearing a orange jacket and brown cargo shorts. He lived in Van Nuys.
Name: Chris Pearson.
"He must be Dan's friend." Zack said, with Melissa, Dr. D and Perry nodding their heads in agreement.
The last image that came up was some sort of gray skinned, nose-less, big eyed, otherworldly individual that cause chaos in a multitude of different personas while living in Langley Falls.
His name: Roger Smith.
"An alien?!" Dr. Doof said in shock.
"He was living on Earth?!" Zack said in shock and fear. "Why didn't the government find and dissect him by now since he caused that much destruction and death?!"
"It must be those costumes he wears to blend into society." Melissa said in surprise before turning to the secret agent platypus. "Well, Perry. Since it appears that your mission to try and find these people, well you're in luck. Dr. D here is is going to try and find them by building an invention find out where they are. Can you help us?"
The egg lay mammal gave a thumbs up and chattered, indicating that he was going to help.
"Thanks Perry the Platypus, I knew I can count on you." Dr. D said as he turned to Zack and Melissa. "Alright, you ready to find Milo and everyone else?"
"You know we are." Melissa declared.
"Alright, here's what we're going to need..." The formerly evil scientist began as he took a list out from inside his jacket and began to read the components necessary to build this type of capable machinery...
Back on Zing's ship...
In the coliseum area of the ship, the sounds of rioting could be heard from the upper levels.
"I wonder what's going on up there." Bubbles as from her cell.
"It seems like Lincoln's plan is going in motion." The blue alien said.
Just then someone burst through the door, it was Army.
"C'mon, you locked up mooks." The small gem said. "We're bustin' out of here."
"What about these collars?" The giant robot asked, pointing at his collar.
"Aside from getting them off, they're no longer an issue, the remote to shock us was broken. Now let's go."
Upon hearing the good news, the giant punched the bars of his cell apart as Bubbles used her heat vision to sever the friction of the iron bars. Once she was out, she then freed the alien mercenary by using the same tactic.
"Let's do this, everyone." The otherworldly being said as he cracked his knuckles. "It's time for some payback."
Meanwhile, on Earth, California...
Elise was sweating from being incredibly nervous. Normally, she was usually calm and collected, even in some of the most tense of situations. Mostly because of who her opposition is and nine times out of ten it was Dan. This time it was her boss who appeared furious at what she did. As she continued to walk to the coordinates that her superior gave to her during their phone call.
Suddenly, a fiery, red portal made of magic was literally cut into thin air in front of her causing her to instinctively jump back and get into a fighting position just in case that whatever was on the other side of it was hostile.
Just then, a figure emerged from the portal. She was a white skinned woman with long, red hair that covered her right eye and was tied at the back, a yellow/orange ball gown and a small flame that was over her head. Her appearance instantly made Elise sense that whoever this woman is, was not human as she didn't get out of her stance.
"Alright, lady..." Elise said, getting a bit frightened at this new stranger. "You got to the count of five to tell me who you are and what your business here is."
"Easy, bitch. I'm not hostile, I've never been to your dimension before so cut me some slack, if you would?" The mysterious said in annoyance as she waved her hands in a defensive manner. "My name is Hekapoo." The woman now named Hekapoo introduced herself. "But before I tell you why I'm here, I need you to tell me exactly where I am."
"And why exactly would I do that?" Elise said as she narrowed her eyes at the redheaded magic user.
"Cause I need to inform of friend of mine's parents about what's happened to their son and I'm also seeking help for a problem my dimension is having." Hekapoo said. "So I don't have the time or the patience to beat the crap out of you even if I wanted to. So let's cut out that part and get to the answers!"
The human narrowed her eyes a bit more before sighing. "Fine, you're in Van Nuys, California. There, happy?"
"Hekapoo's eyes widened as she then closed her eyes and gripped the sides of her hair as she growled in frustration that she was in the wrong place. "Aaaah! Dammit!" She exclaimed as she kicked over a trashcan that was right to next her for her to take her anger out on, causing the container to spill the trash it was filled with all over the ground.
"I'm guessing this isn't where you're suppose to be?" Elise couldn't help but smirk a bit.
"No duh genius." Hekapoo snapped before she closed her eyes and took a deep breath to calm her nerves. "Look um..."
"Elise." Elise introduced herself as she calmed down a bit, getting out of her fighting stance.
"Elise. To make a rather long and complicated story short. I came here to make up for some mistakes I've made back in world." Hekapoo explained.
"Preaching to the choir, Hex. I want to make up for something that I really shouldn't have done. " Elise said. "I was on the way to my pissed off boss when you showed up. Once I'm done talking with him, maybe I can be one of the people that can help with whatever your problem is." The human agent explained. "Depends on what the problem is."
"Well, let's go to your boss first, where is he?" Hekapoo asked as she crossed her arms.
"Follow me, let's walk and talk. We're be there in no time." Elise said as she began to walk through the city. "Not to offend you or anything but I don't trust whatever magic you just used to come here to transport us to my boss, considering the fact that it transported you straight to me and not to where you wanted to go." Chris' wife explained before she then asked. "Where did you want to go anyway?"
Hekapoo thought for a moment trying to remember where Star was once sent where she arrived on Earth before it then popped into her head. "Echo Creek."
"Echo Creek, huh? I think I've heard of that town before in some newspapers that I've read once." Elise theorized.
"Yeah, a friend of mine was sent here from my world to learn how to control her powers while living with another friend of mine's family." Hekapoo explained. "But my..." She stopped for a moment, trying to find the right word. "Co-workers imprisoned her and her mother and some of my other friends back in my world and I just sat back and watched it happened."
Elise's eyes widened in shock before she responded. "And now you came here out of desperation to find allies to free them, right?"
"Yeah, and so far, I've only found you so after you're done talking to your boss, you mind helping me out Elise?" The other dimensional being asked.
"Of course I will." Elise said. "It's part of my job... aside from the inter-dimensional traveling part."
Hearing that last part caused the redhead to laugh a bit as the two women continued their walk. "You know, Elise. Despite being a bitch, you're rather awesome for a non magic user."
"I could say the same to you as well, Hex." Elise said, joining in the laughter as well...
To be continued...
Wow, what a chapter. Not only do Bobby, Ronnie and Clyde know about Lincoln's disappearance and getting cloned and agreeing to help Luan, Leni, Lucy and now Lana's plan to get back at their own family, but other certain developments has happened, like Dr. D turning out to have been i the basement the past three weeks, Agent P arriving at the Murphy residence and coming his former nemesis for assistance on a new mission from his boss, Bubbles and the other coliseum fighters getting freed, and Hekapoo arriving on Earth but in the wrong location and getting Elise's help with her own problem. And if you guys are wondering about Lapis, don't worry, I'll touch up on her soon in the next chapter, I promise.
Will everything go according to plan?
