A/N: I'm only posting another chapter this month for 2 reasons. First, I have the next 2 months chapter done already and I've been getting a lot of interesting suggestions. So I want to get some of these chapters posted. Second, I also want to move the story along a little faster.
Review Reply
Perseus12: Sakamoto Days flew under my radar. I'll need to check it out to see if I can work with it.
Gamelover41592: Yeah, that chapter was heavy.
Alphared45667: I'm still considering Resident Evil. I'll look into Toxin and see if it's something I can use.
Alnovanoir: I try to do that with the name of the chapter (The one above the Disclaimer). However, sometimes I'm taking scenes from several missions, scenes, episode, etc. So I can't do that and sometimes I don't even know the name of the mission or episode. I'll keep the One Piece and Arcane scenes in mind. I'll look back into the Overwatch animated shorts.
Tombstone50: I'll look into Spatterhouse Games, because I don't actually know what any of their games are. Maybe some sort of mystery series.
Tornado man: I'll look into Law and Order series.
Lucifer Black: What movie are you talking about? There were several movies that had House in the title that year. Right now, I don't have any plans to add Rusty. Going further, who knows.
pedro alonso huayanay samudio: I want to do something with X-Men, just trying to find something fun to use. I'm already considering Murder Drones. I need to get around to watching Dan Da Dan.
lamp.andrew1: I will do something with Batman, but I need to watch The Dark Knight Returns. Maybe Static Shock, I would have to rewatch. Maybe one of those Zelda games, although I only played Breath of the Wild. I will do something with Pokemon, I just don't know what.
Octavio Constant: Joker and Harley is an obvious one, but it depends on what source it's coming from. Cartman and Heidi, while it is a toxic relationship, it's not something I could have fun with. Ross and Rachel is a good example, but I was never a big Friends fan. Korra and Mako, was it a toxic relationship? It's been a good few years, but I don't remember it being toxic. As for Stan and Francine, it all depends on which episode their relationship can be toxic.
redsteel116: I need to watch Cowboy Bebop and Trigun.
Daveguy: GTA 4 was a questionable choice on my part. Maybe Down to the Bone, it actually is one of my favorite songs. I would need to rewatch the music video to see if I could use it.
alivasamantha: Thanks.
Guest 03-09-2025: Thanks.
Chapter 22: A Cry on Deaf Ears
Disclaimer: I don't own The Loud House. I make no money or profit from this.
Everyone was happily chatting, mostly listening to Linka's stories, with her and Lincoln comparing stories. While the last world they watched wasn't one of the worst, it was still rather grim. While all of them felt bad for the older Lincoln and Albert, they didn't like the idea of Lincoln being on a years-long revenge mission. They also didn't like to think of Liberty City. Everyone could agree that they would never want to visit that dangerous city and were grateful it didn't exist back home.
The elementary kids really didn't like thinking about it because of Rusty. They all, sans Stella, knew Rusty could be annoying, overconfident, and at times be a goofball. However, they never expected him to do something like sell out his friends for money, and for drugs no less. Clyde, Lincoln, and Linka were the most bothered by this. He was in Clyde's and Lincoln's friend group, while Linka was friends with her version through Clyde. When Linka first met him, he used one of his cheesy and annoying pick-up lines on her. It bothered and worried them, only seeing Rusty two times, and both times he wasn't a good person.
The middle and high schoolers didn't know this Rusty per se, but they got a glimpse of what a drug addiction can do to someone. Sure they were told not to do it from their parents, PSAs, and those odd groups that sometimes travel from school to school to do the strange performances. However, what they just saw showed them real world results. Needless to say, they would definitely think twice should any of them find themselves in a situation where they're being offered drugs. They also hated seeing the kind white hair Loud boy, being filled with nothing but hate and revenge, while on a years-long mission to kill someone who was his friend.
As for the Loud sisters and adults, there wasn't much to say. It hurt them to know that they all died in an accident, which somehow started a chain of events that led their brother/son/grandson on a revenge mission. They only could only hope that he would eventually move on and try to find his own happiness. Albert didn't want to think about that world, only because it made his blood boil at the thought of a soldier betraying his brothers and sisters in arms.
"So you had a business called the Guy Guru?!" Lincoln asked his female counterpart. "Me and Clyde had the same thing! Only we call ours the Girl Guru!"
"Did it also end with salt and vinegar pies to the face?" Linka asked, trying not to smile. Both boys nodded and this made her start laughing.
"I'm still a little mad at you for that," Jordan said to the boys with a small frown, with Tabby joining her. Both boys immediately started to apologize.
"It's both cool and kind of freaky how identical both your lives are," Stella commented, looking between the two white heads.
"What about the Sadie Hawkins dance?" Ronnie Anne asked Linka curiously. "From what I remember, Lame-o's sisters set him up with four dates." This question got the attention of everyone, with four certain Loud sisters feeling a little nervous.
"Well my brothers were expecting me to ask Ronaldo Santiago, Rhonda's little brother," Linka started to tell her story. "However, I was planning to go to Gus' for two games for one event happening. So I lied and said I never saw him all day, so I couldn't ask him. My brothers didn't want to miss an important event, so my brothers Luke, Lane, Lynn, and Lars set me up with boys they knew, without talking to each other or asking me. Luke set me up with Tommy, Lane set me up with Giggles, Lynn set me up with Paul, and Lars set me up with Haiku. When I tried to tell them I didn't want to go, they forced me to go with all four of them. They wouldn't even help me cancel any of them so I would only have one."
"What!?" The Loud parents shouted, looking at four of their daughters. The four girls started to sweat under their parents' gaze.
"So I spent the night jumping between four dates all on my own," Linka continued. "Then I saw Ronaldo was there and I was trying not to let him see me. We eventually bumped into each other and he explained he was forced to go by his sister Rhonda. He also said he would rather be at Gus' than there as well. He then said he was planning to leave and asked if I wanted to join him. Before I could turn him down, each of my dates came up to me and asked if it was okay for them to dance with someone else. While I was jumping between them, they all found someone at the dance that they liked. So I told them to go ahead, then me and Ronaldo went to Gus' to get in some gaming."
Everyone listening to her, sans Lincoln, looked at the girl with amazement and some pity. She had a chaotic night thanks to her brother's interference. They then looked at the Loud boy and realized he must've gone through something similar.
"You did all that by yourself?!" Lincoln asked, looking surprised. "I don't know if I could've done that for my situation. I needed the help of Clyde, Zach, Liam, and Rusty to get through the night."
"Which reminds me," Haiku said, looking at her friend with a small frown. "While I did have a fun time there with Clyde, you should apologize to Lincoln for setting him up without telling him and not helping him cancel any of the dates when you found out what your sisters did."
"You need to do the same, Luna," Sam said to her girlfriend sternly, with Tabby nodding. "Leaving your little bro hanging dry and not trying to cancel a date you set up. You should've helped him when you found out about the other dates."
"I agree with them LJ," Margo told her friend. "It sounds like everything ended well, but you could've gotten your brother in a lot of trouble with all of them. You might've even given him a negative reputation like that Rusty kid we've been hearing about."
"You're going to apologize as well Luan," Rita told her daughter with a frown. "You and Luna should've helped your brother cancel some of those dates. All of you girls have to learn to stay out of your brother's love life, unless he comes to any of you for advice."
"Lincoln, next time just be honest with them," Lynn Sr. said to his son in a firm, but soft tone. "Also don't be afraid to bring any of this kind of thing to your mother or I. We'll try to help fix the situation anyway we can."
All the kids nodded in agreement, with the four girls apologizing to their brother. Although Lori looked like she didn't agree with her parents, she said nothing. Albert could only sigh and look a little disappointed at all his grandchildren. The girls for meddling in their brother's love life, and Lincoln for not going to his parents for help. The kids saw his expression and were feeling bad because of it.
"Alright everyone, let's try to cheer up!" Queen said, grabbing everyone's attention. "My Master has just sent me the next orb for our viewing pleasure." He then held out an orange orb with a strange red swirl on it.
"Another new orb," Lisa commented, seeing the orb.
"Yes, but this one is a little different," Queen started to explain. "This world is kind of like feudal Japan, but they have modern technology, fashion, and food. Their government is close to feudal lords, their military and police are Shinobis, or Ninjas in simpler words. Not only that, these shinobis can do something that you would consider to be magic, they are able to mold chakra into physical or elemental attacks."
"Chakra? You mean that thing related to yoga?" Carol asked confused.
"It also has ties with Tibetan Buddhism," Lisa said to the teenager, before frowning at their host. "Both which are impossible to mold into an attack as you stated."
"Well chakra in this world is a bit different in this world," Queen said politely, continuing his explanation. "In this world, chakra is a mixture of physical energy and spiritual energy that exists everywhere and in everyone in that world. The people can mold and shape it to do several different things. Some can use it to enlarge their bodies, some can change it into elements like water or wind, and some can even use it for even more bizarre things. An example is a group of people who can control their shadow, attach it to someone else's shadow, and control their body movement by having them mimic their own movement."
Most of the audience were looking at the butler with shocked or stunned expressions, with the few looking at him skeptically.
"So what are we going to see?" Albert asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Unfortunately, it isn't a pleasant sight," Queen replied, looking at them sadly. "You are going to see two rivals, best friends without them saying that, fight one another. You will also be learning the beginning of one of their past, and how they became the person she became."
"She?" Lincoln asked, catching the pronoun. This raised his mood, knowing it wasn't going to be him and Clyde again. But it also worried him, wondering which of his sisters it was.
"Yes she, do you want me to tell you who?" Queen asked the audience. They all looked at each other with uneasy expressions, before all saying they wanted to know. "Very well, the fight is between Lynn Jr. and Margo," he told them with a sigh. This got the two girls mentioned to look stunned, with everyone looking at them with a worried expression. "Now who would like to do the honors?"
"I will," Linka said standing up. She got up, took the orb from Queen, and tossed it to the screen making it come to life.
The screen opens up to a waterfall with two large statues of people on both sides of it, on the heads are both statues of two individuals. On the left statue was a 12 year old girl with long black hair done up in a ponytail. She wore a navy blue short-sleeve shirt with a high collar, white shorts, and white arm warmers. On the back of the shirt was the Uchiha Crest. This was Lynn Uchiha.
"That's Lynn?" Lincoln asked, looking at the younger version of his sister.
"It's odd seeing her with black hair," Luan commented.
"What is her clothing!?" Leni shouted in horror.
"What is she wearing?!" Lori said, stunned.
"Dudes, I think we found the Lucy version of Lynn," Luna commented.
"Yes, That's Lynn Uchiha," Queen started to reply. "All members of the Uchiha Clan have black hair. As for her choice of clothing… she is considered to be a emo by many in this world."
"Sigh, she is so close to being goth," Lucy said in a disappointed voice.
"There's always next time Lucy," Haiku told her friend, in an attempt to cheer her up.
"Uchiha Clan?" Tabby asked, confused. A few others looked confused at the term as well.
"The Uchiha Clan is a can of worms I don't want to open unless necessary," the butler replied with a sigh. "For now, just think of it as a family that has everyone with the Uchiha blood living in one place together."
They all nodded, but his explanation only confused and worried them.
On the right statue was another 12 year old girl with long light brown hair and blue eyes. She wore an orange and blue jacket with a white collar, with a red Uzumaki Crest on the back, and orange pants. She also wore a blue headband with a metal plate on it that had the symbol of a leaf on her forehead. This was Margo Uzumaki.
"MY EYES!" Lola shouted in horror.
"What is she wearing?! That needs to be burned!" Leni screamed horrified.
"She should not be wearing that," Lori said in disgust.
"I agree, that outfit shouldn't exist," Becky said, looking equally disgusted.
While many of the audience agreed and started to list why, including Lynn Jr. and Margo, Lincoln just looked at them and gave a small huff.
"It doesn't look that bad," he muttered quietly, so the others didn't hear him.
Margo was looking towards Lynn, but Lynn had her back towards her. "Lynn!" Margo shouted, only to get no response and Lynn started to walk away. "Are you going to run off again?!" This statement caused Lynn to pause her step.
Lynn slowly then starts to turn around to look at her, only from Margo's eyes to widen at what she sees. While her right eye is the normal black Her left eye has a black scala with a yellow pupil. She also has weird black markings covering the left side of her face.
Seeing Lynn's face caused everyone to let out a gasp of shock and fear. While Lynn Jr. felt a spike of anger at hearing the question.
"What's happening to her?!" Rita asked in fear.
"It's kind of a long story," Queen replied with an uncertain tone. "The short version is Lynn has something called a Curse Mark on her. That's what those markings are and the reason for her eye."
"Curse Mark?" Both goths asked him interested. While everyone else was now scared and slightly confused.
"The Curse Mark was placed on her by a man named Orochimaru," Queen replied. "Him and the Curse Mark is another can of worms I don't want to open. I will tell you any important things, but only if it comes up."
Hearing this only increased everyone's worries, while Lucy and Haiku were curious about this Orochimaru.
"So it's you, hopeless little knucklehead," Lynn replies in an emotionless voice. "So he sent you." Hearing that, Margo started to think back on Clyde's words before she left. "Like I already told Clyde. It's over, just leave me alone." She then put her hands on her hips and started to laugh. "Look at you, what's with the angry face?" She said in a smug tone and expression.
"What's with her attitude?" Lynn Jr. asked, annoyed at the way she was talking to her friend.
"This Lynn has a massive ego and believes she is better because she's from the Uchiha Clan," Queen replied.
"Okay, maybe this isn't the Lucy version of her," Luna said, before sending a teasing smirk at her sporty sister. "She sounds just like our Lynn." This got a few other Loud children to nod in agreement, with Lynn growling at them.
"What was that about me?" Clyde asked their host.
"Lynn Uchiha, Margo Uzumaki, and Clyde Haruno were on the same shinobi team, known as Team Seven," Queen replied. "Lynn had the best physical score, Clyde had the best written score, and Margo was dead last."
"Of course I was," the athletic Loud said smugly.
"I was dead last!?" Margo shouted in anger and disbelief. Clyde was just surprised to be on a team with Lynn and Margo.
"Shinobi team?! But they're only children!" Lynn Sr. shouted in horror. This got everyone to realize what he was getting at, and filled them with fear.
"In this world, it's common to basically draft kids into the military," Queen replied with a sad expression. "They attended school for at least three years to prepare them for becoming shinobis. They are then broken up into small groups and given a more experienced shinobi to train them as a team."
"Why are they doing this?!" Stella asked in horror. With everyone else wondering the same.
"This world is plagued by war," the butler replied. "Wars between nations, wars between villages, even wars between Clans. Because of this, they train their children young so they can be ready to protect their home and people."
This saddened and horrified them all, with Albert looking furious and disgusted. Having seen battle, he hated the idea of sending children to war.
Margo only continued to stare at her friend, as memories started to play in her head. The screen then started to show a montage of those memories. It starts off with showing her, Lynn, and Clyde at the Academy being paired up as a team. With Margo questioning why she was being put on a team with Lynn, and not liking it. It then switches to one where Margo is tied up to a wooden stump and hungry, while Lynn offers some of her lunch to her. It then changes to one where Lynn is hesitatingly asking Margo for advice, before it immediately switches to the two of them standing on top of two very tall trees. It then changed to one where Lynn was standing protectively in front of Margo senbon needles in her body. Lynn then told her she didn't know why she protected her, her body just moved on its own. The last thing it showed was Lynn, in a black variant of her outfit, with those same strange black markings covering most of her body. She was telling Margo to get out of the location because she didn't want to see her precious comrades falling right in front of her.
Seeing the memories filled them with a wide range of emotions. They all laughed at the scene of Margo questioning why she was on the same team at Lynn. They laughed again at seeing Margo tied to the stump, then awed when they saw Lynn offering her food to her. Everyone was confused why Lynn looked uncomfortable asking for advice, before being confused and in awe seeing both on top of the trees. They looked horrified at seeing Lynn with several senbon needles in her, while being confused when she said her body moved on its own. They were then fearful seeing Lynn with the Curse Mark on her again, and extremely worried about hearing her say she didn't want to see her comrades fall in front of her.
"Dang, those two have been through a lot," Sam said with a sad frown. Everyone just nodded in agreement.
"Queen, what exactly have they seen?" Albert asked. He was worried for his granddaughter's counterpart.
"They've been through a lot," the butler replied with a tired sigh. "Telling you everything would take some time and some of it isn't important to this viewing. But to give you an extremely short version, both Lynn and Margo had rough childhoods, and they have faced several enemies stronger than them since becoming shinobis. A few were life or death situations, but they were able to come out of them thanks to teamwork, and some powerful luck."
The mention of luck caused the Loud family, minus Albert and Linka, to flinch. No one knew what else to say, so they went back to watching.
"Why? Why are you doing this to us Lynn?" Margo asked with a heartbroken expression. Lynn raised an eyebrow, but said nothing. "I don't get it, what happened to make you like this? Why are you doing it?!" The orange wearing girl shouted.
"That's what we want to know!" Jordan shouted.
"Yeah! From what we saw, you two were best friends!" Tabby added.
"It's clear that you care enough to protect her!" Ronnie Anne said in confusion.
"And I seem to care enough to try to help you!" Clyde commented, confused by the whole situation.
Lynn looked angry at her counterpart for hurting her friend, while Margo looked upset at what was happening between the two younger girls.
Lynn stared at her with a blank expression for a few seconds, before she finally started speaking. "Why should you care what I do?" Her voice was now cold. "It's my concern, not yours. I have my own path to follow, and neither you nor anyone else can steer me from it." Hearing this caused Margo to glare at her friend. "I will tell you this much. My days of playing ninja with you kids of the Leaf Village are done."
Hearing what Lynn said caused everyone to glare at the screen, except for Margo. She looked like she had just been slapped and then insulted.
"That's what you say to a friend?!" Becky shouted in outrage.
"How can you be so heartless?!" Bobby asked in confusion and rage.
"What's her problem?!" Lincoln shouted in rage.
"A lot of things," Queen whispers enough so they won't hear him, while looking off to the side. As if he was looking at something.
"I want to deck her!" Lynn Jr. said in a growl.
This caused Margo's eyes to widen in shock before she gained a disappointed and furious expression. The screen then showed a montage of five different people willing to fight someone so that Margo could continue to chase after Lynn. They were Lana Inuzuka, Choji Akimichi, Lisa Nara, Paula Lee, and Neji Hyuga.
"Wait! Was that Lana, Lisa, and Paula?" Margo asked in shock.
"Yes it was," Queen replied. "They were Lana Inuzuka, Lisa Nara, and Paula Lee. They had joined Margo on her mission to chase after Lynn. They were all classmates, except for Paula, and saw Lynn as a friend and comrade."
This surprised everyone, none more than the people mentioned. Lana was excited, while Lisa let out an unimpressed scoff.
"All of them…" Margo started to say with a shaky voice. "All of them… risk their lives. To save you!"
"WHAT?!" They all shouted in shock, fear, and/or confusion.
"I'm afraid it's true," Queen told them with a sad expression. "As they chased after her, they were attacked by five strong individuals that were trying to stop them." This worried them. "The good news is they survived the encounters, the bad news is most were severely injured, with two being life threatening."
This didn't help any of them feel better, while only making Lynn Jr. angrier.
Lynn tilted her head with an uncaring expression. "Well, wasn't that nice of them," she said in a cold and uncaring voice, before she started to walk away.
This got shocked and disbelief from everyone, with Lynn grinding her teeth at her counterpart's attitude.
Margo stared at the retreating form of Lynn, she started to think about the words of one of her friends as they left on this mission. She then gritted her teeth and put on a determined expression. She then started to run and jump high off the statue, leaping directly towards Lynn.
Lynn stopped walking when she saw a shadow started to form in front of her and looked behind her. As she did, she saw Margo coming directly towards her.
"Not so fast!" Margo shouted with absolute fury. "You're going to tell me that your comrades risk their lives for nothing?!" She landed directly on top of her and the two of them slid on the ground.
"How did she do that?!" Lincoln and Clyde shouted in amazement. The rest just stared stunned at the screen, with Lynn and Margo wishing they could do that.
"Training and chakra," Queen replied. "They can use chakra to help them do things that could be considered to be supernatural."
Margo then raised a fist and punched Lynn on the right side of her face. Lynn said nothing and did nothing, she just looked at her former friend with empty eyes. She then spats some blood from her mouth onto Margo's face. This action got Margo to grab her by the collar of her shirt and lift her up.
"My comrades huh," Lynn said, her voice still as cold and emotionless. "If I stay with comrades like you, I'll never get strong. Now I'm going to where Orochimaru is."
This got another growl from Lynn Jr., while confusing others.
Hearing this caused Margo's eyes to widen with fear and disbelief. "Are you out of your mind?!" Margo shouted in fury, pulling her closer. "Orochimaru killed the Third Hokage and did everything he could to destroy the Leaf Village. Whatever it is you are expecting from him, you think he's going to give it to you for free?!" Lynn didn't reply, only staring blankly at her. "All he wants is to use your body like a new suit of clothes! There'll be nothing of you left! You'll never get out there alive! You think I'll just stand by and let you throw away your entire life?!"
"What?!" They all shouted in confusion or disgust. None of them knew the full context to the situation.
"What is she talking about?" Lynn Sr. asked in a worried tone.
"It's another long story, but I'll sum it up the best I can," Queen said with a sigh. "Orochimaru was a shinobi from the same village as them, which was the Hidden Leaf Village. The Leader of the village, the Hokage, found out he was performing experiments on people from the village. He was trying to learn all the jutsus he can and immortality, and jutsus are what they call attacks using chakra."
This got gasps of shock from everyone, except for Lisa who scoffed at the notion.
"He then fled the village and was labeled a missing-nin, which would be a wanted criminal to all of you," Queen continued. "Fast-forward a couple of decades and he found a way to cheat death. He made a jutsu that can transfer his soul into a new body. Now he has his sights on making Lynn's body his new vessel. The Curse Mark Lynn has contains a piece of his soul."
Hearing this got looks of shock and horror. Lynn Jr. herself looked frightened and horrified. Lisa looked horrified, but was rationalizing it as complete mumbo jumbo.
"Why does he want LJ's body?!" Margo asked in fright.
"I'll explain more later on, but for now, all I'll say is he wants something Lynn has," the butler replied calmly. "Now we should continue the viewing, things will only get more complicated."
They all turned back to the screen, but all were looking worried.
"None of that matters now," Lynn replies, her expression becoming more crazed. "The only thing that matters to me is achieving my goal. If you insist on getting in my way, well then it can't be helped." Lynn then grabbed a hold of Margo's shirt.
"Well if you're not going to listen to reason…" Margo started to say, glaring at her friend. "…Then I'll do this by force if I have to!" Hearing this caused Lynn to smile, while she started to chuckle. "What have you got to laugh about?!" Margo snaps at her.
"I remember you laughing the last time we met," Lynn told her in a calm voice.
Everyone was taken aback by this Lynn's attitude. While they knew Lynn could be rash, aggressive, and had an ego. They never thought she could be psychotic.
"What is she talking about?" Becky asked.
"You'll see, the next part is going to be switching between their present and a flashback," Queen replied.
The screen then changed to a flashback to show the two of them on a fenced off rooftop. Margo is wearing her orange outfit, with Lynn only wearing a blue t-shirt and shorts. "What's so funny?" Lynn asked, annoyed.
"I'm not laughing because it's funny," Margo said with a cocky grin. "I'm just psych. Because I know today is the day I finally beat you!"
"When was that and where?" Carol asked curiously.
"It was just several days before this encounter and on top of the hospital's roof," Queen replied. He saw they were about to ask questions, so held up a hand to stop them. "Lynn was in the hospital after encountering a certain individual. She had just recovered and wasn't exactly in the best mood. Then again, she's never in a good mood."
His answer only confused all of them even more.
The screen then switches back to the present. "Remember how thrilled you were at the thought of beating me to a bloody pulp?" Lynn started to say, still smiling. "What's wrong? Where's your smile now?"
"Shut up! That was different!" Margo replied, getting a little angry. "Maybe I felt that way at first, but you were different then."
The screen then went back to the flashback. "Let's just do this," Lynn said with an arrogant grin. Her eyes were now red with two black markings spinning around in them.
"Put on your headband and we will, I'll wait," Margo demanded.
"Why does she want her to put on a headband?" Luna questioned, confused with many others wondering the same.
"Not to worry, I don't need that thing," Lynn replied.
"Just do it! Come on!" Margo said with a frown.
"There's no reason to put it on!" Lynn said arrogantly, pointing to her forehead. "Because you won't make a scratch on my forehead!"
"That's not the point!" Margo said, getting frustrated. "Come on! You know putting the headband on is a testament to fighting on equal terms as a Leaf Shinobi."
"So that's why," Stella said, slightly impressed. "Those headbands carry an important meaning behind them relating to their culture."
They were all surprised by the significant importance behind the simple headband.
"I just thought they looked cool," Lincoln commented. Clyde, Bobby, Lana, Sam, Tabby, and Luna just nodded in agreement.
"There you go acting all high and mighty again!" Lynn said in an agitated voice. "You don't honestly think we are equals!?"
"Heck yeah I do!" Margo snapped back. "All this time, I never once thought I was inferior to you in any way!"
"You're a complete embarrassment!" Lynn shouted with a scowl on her face.
This caused the two friends to flinch. Margo had a look of hurt, while Lynn Jr. looked absolutely furious at her counterpart.
It then changes to the two of them charging at each other with attacks. Lynn was using Chidori, while Margo was using Rasengan. Clyde was running to both of them, trying to stop them from fighting. Only for it to show a man with tall silver hair, getting in between them and tossing both of them towards water containers on the top of the roof.
"What just happened?!" Bobby shouted in shock and confusion.
"What you just saw was Lynn and Margo using their strongest jutsus at each other," Queen started to reply. "Lynn was using Chidori, which is a lighting jutsu. While Margo was using Rasengan, a pure chakra jutsu. Clyde was trying to stop them, with their teacher stepping in and redirecting their attacks."
"We're we actually trying to kill each other?" Lynn Jr. asked horrified.
"It's unclear," the butler replied. "Margo certainly wasn't, but your counterpart might've been."
The screen then went back to the present, showing Margo with a conflicted expression as she looked down at her friend. "I didn't mean…" she said in a whisper. "I never really wanted that kind of fight. Even now I still don't."
Everyone felt bad for this Margo. They could feel all the heartbreak and pain she was going through.
"I couldn't give a damn of what you want!" Lynn said in an agitated tone, as she started to lift Margo up by the shirt. Margo tried to grab onto her hand to make her let go, but it was useless. Soon Lynn was able to stand up, while holding Margo up by the shirt with just one hand. Lynn then let go of Margo's shirt and immediately followed up with a punch to her gut. The punch was so hard it made Margo cough up blood and sent her flying down in the waters below.
They were all in shock at seeing the strength that Lynn had. They all had winced at seeing Margo take the punch and cough up blood. Finally they hope Margo was okay from falling that high. The athletic Loud was just grinding her teeth.
Lynn then looked down at the hand that she used to lift Margo up with fascination, before she started to smile. She then suddenly started to feel pain and flinched. Suddenly the black markings on the side of her face started to glow and disappear, while her one eye went back to normal.
"So this is the power he was talking about," She started to say to herself while laughing. "I can feel it growing, flowing to my body." She then started to smirk evilly.
"Shut up already!" Lynn Jr. shouted at the screen.
Lynn then looked over the edge to the water and saw Margo starting to surface. She smirked down at the girl, while Margo crawled on all fours on top of the water. Margo then got to her feet and started running on the water towards Lynn.
"How is she doing that?!" Jordan asked in surprise and awe.
"Chakra," Queen simply replied. "They are able to move chakra to their feet, so they are allowed to stand on water and walk up vertical surfaces."
Everyone looked at him with disbelief and awe.
"Impossible!" Lisa screamed out in rage, glaring at the screen. "There has to be a logical reason for what is happening!"
"Yeah it doesn't make sense, but it is possible," Queen simply replied with a shrug.
"Wake up already! Before it's too late!" Margo shouted as she ran towards her friend.
She then jumped from the water to a part of the statue and then jumped at Lynn, who had jumped down from the top of the statue. Margo threw a punch, but Lynn was able to avoid it. Lynn then followed up with a kick to the head, while grabbing a pouch that was on the back of Margo's pants. Lynn fell onto part of the statue while Margo fell back into the water.
Everyone winced again seeing the hit Margo took.
"I have woken up, can't you see," Lynn said loud enough for Margo to hear. "That girl that dreamed of a happy future full of peace and friendship…" Margo made her way over to some nearby land and climbed up, still looking at her friend. "She was the one who was asleep. That's why I left the village. That's why I'd gone to search for power. It's not the future I dream of anymore. Only the past…" an image of a younger Lynn riding the back of an older black hair Lincoln showed on the screen, before going back to showing Lynn. "That's where my dream lies…".
Hearing what Lynn said only worried and confused the audience.
"What did she mean by that?" Sam asked.
"What was with the image of Lynn and Linky?" Leni asked.
"What she was talking about has to do with her past," Queen started to reply. "As for the image, you're about to see. We'll be seeing another flashback."
The screen then cuts to another flashback, only this time it was in a forest. A 8 year old Lynn was crouching down hiding behind a tree. All around the area were different targets in different places. She then looked at the other person that was there.
It was a 13 year old Lincoln wearing a black short-sleeve shirt with a high collar and gray pants. He was just standing in one place with his eyes closed, when he suddenly disappeared. He then reappeared high above this ground and started to spin around while throwing kunai. Every single one of the kunai's managed to hit every target, including one that was hidden behind a rock. When Lincoln landed, he opened his eyes to reveal that they were red eyes with three black markings spinning around in them. Lynn stared at all the targets in amazement, especially the one that was hidden.
They all stared at the screen stunned, seeing what the dark hair Lincoln just did.
"How did he do that?!" Lynn Jr. shouted with a wide eyed expression.
"What's with his eyes?" Haiku asked, interested.
"First I'll explain his eyes," Queen started to answer Haiku's question. "Those eyes he has are called the Sharingan eyes. Those eyes are a special ability that any person with the Uchiha blood can awaken. The eyes have two abilities, Eye of Insight and Eye of Hypnotism. Eye of Insight allows them to see chakra, incredible clarity or perception, read lips, mimic movements and memories things with near perfect accuracy. The Eye of Hypnotism allows them to dd various Genjutsu, Art of Illusion, through eye contact."
"Lincoln was able to do what he did through a mix of training and using his Sharingan," he then answered Lynn Jr.'s question.
"So that means Lynn has those eyes as well?" Lucy question.
"Correct," Queen replied, before putting on an uneasy expression. "It's those very same eyes that Orochimaru wants to make Lynn her new vessel."
"Why does he want Lynn's body for her eyes?!" Ronnie Anne shouted, confused.
"Because the Sharingan is capable of copying most jutsus," their host replied. "To him, she is just a tool to help him achieve his own goals."
Everyone frowns at hearing this. They didn't know who this Orochimaru was, but they already had a deep hatred for him. Leni meanwhile wasn't listening, she was too busy looking between the two Lincolns.
"Maybe Linky should dye his hair black," Leni said, drawing everyone's attention. This had everyone looking between both of them.
"I agree, black certainly fits him," Haiku said with a small smile.
"It might work," Jordan said, looking at the boy with a calculating gaze.
"No way, he's better with his white hair," Becky commented.
"I agree, his white locks fit him better," Albert said with a smile.
This started a debate on which looked better on the boy, only for Queen to clap and get them focusing back on the screen.
"Wow Lincoln! You managed to hit every target. Including the one in the blind spot that was hidden behind the rock!" Lynn said to her brother in amazement. "Alright, now it's my turn!" She said with a large smile.
"It sounds like Junior admires her older brother," Lynn Sr. said with a chuckle.
This got them all to awe and tease the two. Lincoln was embarrassed, while Lynn Jr. was annoyed and embarrassed.
"No Lynn, it's time to go," Lincoln told her in a calm voice, Lynn looked at him annoyed. His eyes had then gone back to his normal black eyes.
"What happened to the new Shuriken Jutsu you were supposed to teach me?" She grumbled.
"It will have to wait till later, I have an important mission in the morning and I have to prepare for it," Lincoln told her.
Hearing this, everyone frowns or has a sad expression.
"What is Lincoln's age right now?" Rita asked worryingly.
"He's thirteen and Lynn's is eight," Queen replied. This only increased their negative feelings hearing someone so young was already a soldier and going on missions.
"You're such a big fat liar," Lynn said as she pouted. Lincoln smiled softly at her and then gestured for her to come over. Lynn saw this and started smiling while running towards him. However, just as she got close to him, he held out his index and middle finger to poke her in the forehead.
"Hey! Why did he do that?!" Lynn Jr. shouted in annoyance.
"It's just a small gesture of affection he likes to do to her," Queen replied. This got some of the audience to awe at the moment.
"Sorry Lynn, maybe some other time," he told her with a kind smile. Lynn looked at him annoyed, before it turned into a smirk, which confused Lincoln.
"Okay, then watch this!" She said holding up her own kunais and attempted to do the same thing. Only for her to fail and twist her ankle.
Everyone laughed at what happened to the young girl, while the Loud athlete grumbled angrily.
It then changes to a little later with Lincoln holding Lynn on his back. As Lincoln walked, he heard Lynn start to laugh a bit. "How come the one who twisted her ankle is the one who's laughing?" Lincoln asked with a soft smile, looking at his younger sister. "Or maybe you were just looking for a way to get out of walking home?" He teased her playfully.
"Oh look at how adorbs Lynn and Linky are!" Leni said gushing at the scene.
"It looks like that Lincoln is just as sweet and caring as ours," Luna commented, smiling.
They were all unaware of Queen suddenly looking behind them with a small frown. Almost as if he saw or heard something.
"I want to be carried!" The twins said in unison towards their brother.
"He looks like a great brother," Carol commented happily.
While they all gushed over the moment, some were now confused. This happy memory doesn't fit with what the older Lynn was saying. Her speech and attitude contradicts with the flashback.
"No way, that's not it," Lynn replied, a little offended. "It's just, I can't stop thinking of how I'm going to start at the Academy tomorrow!"
Lincoln said nothing and went back to looking in front of him. Lynn started to smile, hugging him tighter, while Lincoln looked back at her with a smile of his own.
"That's the end of the flashback," Queen informed the audience.
"I don't get it," Lincoln said looking at the butler. "You said she didn't have a good childhood, but that seemed like she did. What's the point?"
"It was to show you the bond between Lynn and Lincoln," he started to reply. "I know it doesn't make sense right now, but it will in another viewing. This one is almost done, so I believe you will be seeing this world again."
His answer only confused everyone and worried those who were already skeptical.
The screen then changed back to the present, with Lynn still looking down at Margo. Margo then pulled a shuriken from a holster on her thigh and started running towards Lynn. As she did she threw the shuriken at her. Lynn easily avoided it while throwing a kunai in return. Margo avoided the blade and took cover behind a rock.
Lynn, knowing where Margo was, jumped high in the air and threw two kunais. She made it so that the second one she threw hit the first one and sent it flying behind the rock to hit Margo. However when it hit its target, a puff of smoke appeared behind the rock.
"Wait! What just happened?!" Luan shouted, saying what everyone was thinking.
"Yeah! That knife hit Margo and she disappeared in a puff of smoke!" Lana shouted.
"It was actually a kunai," Queen corrected. "As for what happened, that Margo was a Shadow Clone. A Shadow Clone is a jutsu that makes a physical copy of the user, but disappears after a single hit."
"That sounds cool/awesome/helpful/rockin'!" Many of them said at the same time.
"With that I could be my own team!" Lynn Jr. said with a smirk.
"I would have someone to help me cook meals!" Lynn Sr. said smiling.
"I would have help anytime I needed it at the animal shelter!" Sam said, smiling widely.
"I would have someone to try pranks on!" Luan said before laughing.
"I would have someone to play games with when all my friends are busy," Lincoln said smiling.
"That would help with packing for our move soon!" Stella said.
"I could have my own band!" Tabby said making the devil horns gesture.
While Lisa said nothing and only scoffed, the technique interested her. Human cloning was something that always interested her, she just never tried due to fear of the law.
Lynn smirked at this knowing she used a Shadow Clone. She then pulled out some thread from the pouch she took and started to tie it to some of her kunais and shurikens. Margo then jumped from behind the rock to land in front of it, only for Lynn to throw a shuriken on both sides of the large rock. Margo immediately saw the threads, while seeing they were attached to the kunais stuck in the ground near Lynn, and knew what was coming. The shuriken flew around the rock and around Margo tying her to the rock.
"I'm warning you!" Margo said while being tied to the rock. "You're making a big mistake!"
Lynn just stared down at her with an emotionless expression. "Like I said," she said in her cold voice. "A future with you guys isn't what I want anymore." Lynn then started to do some hand signs.
"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu," Lynn shouted as her entire body became encased in fire. The fire then traveled down the wires near Lynn's feet, and started to head towards Margo. She let out a scream as the flames got closer and reached her.
"We're done with this one," Queen said walking in front of the screen. "So, what are your thoughts?"
They all just stare at the black screen with wide eyed expressions and open mouths. They not only saw Lynn basically summon fire from nothing, but also directed it towards Margo. After a few seconds of silence, it was finally broken with questions.
"What did I just do!?" Lynn Jr. shouted in a mixture of rage and fear
"Did I just die?!" Margo shouted in fear.
"Why would Lynn do that?!" Leni said, crying a bit.
"Why is your "Master" showing us this!?" Albert said furiously.
The others were too stunned and still trying to process what they just saw.
"First, no your counterpart didn't die," Queen said, starting to reply. "She does escape and they continue their fight. As for what she just did, she attempted to kill Margo. Her reasons why, she sees her as someone in her way. As for my Master's reasoning, unfortunately I don't know my Master's thought process. I only have the belief that my Master has a plan for showing what we are seeing."
"Even before we started watching, you showed some discomfort," Lisa asked with narrowed eyes. "Why is that? What are we missing?"
"I know what will and has happened," Queen replied sadly with a sigh. "Without spoiling anything, I can say this chain of events can be quite emotional."
This made all of them look at one another with looks of worry or discomfort. They were now nervous about seeing what will happen next.
"Well if there's no more questions, I'll be off to the side waiting for the next orb," Queen told them all. "If you need any assistance, please don't hesitate to ask." He went to stand off to the side, while everyone else started to discuss the world they just saw.
