This takes place in The Spongebob Movie universe and 4 days after Plankton posted bail.

Note: This is also my first Spongebob Squarepants fanfiction.

This afternoon, Plankton and King Neptune were in the castle having an extremely heated argument about Plankton's actions.

"What in the name of the Bikini Bottom were you the thinking!?" King Neptune asked angrily. "I wanted to rule the world and have people follow in my footsteps!" Plankton replied in anger.

When things got more and more heated between the 2, without Plankton thinking, he grabbed a gun, pointed it at King Neptune, and fired it at him and shot King Neptune in his lower left shoulder as he tried to flee.

"Idiot!" Plankton shouted angrily as started chasing King Neptune. Within minutes, King Neptune ran to the Krusty Krab and opened the door.

"Somebody help me! I've been shot!" King Neptune said in pain and exasperation as he feel to the ground.

Spongebob saw King Neptune on the floor bleeding profusely and rushed to help him. "Oh my god! It's okay! Squidward call an ambulance!" Spongebob said in panic as he put a napkin on the wound, but King Neptune still lost consciousnesses.

Mr. Krabs heard the commotion and saw what was going on. "Oh my god, Spongebob, what happened to King Neptune!" Eugene asked in panic.

"He said he's been shot!" Spongebob replied in panic.

2 miniutes later...

After that, an ambulance arrived at the scene and strapped King Neptune onto an ambulance strecher.

Mindy was out for a walk but saw her dad being loaded into the ambulance and rushed to his side.

"Oh my god! Father, what happened!?" Mindy asked in panic. "Your father got shot," explained the paramedic.

At the hosptial...

Doctors and paramedics were trying to revive King Neptune, but he was losing way too much blood that they were sadly unable to save his life.

"He's gone," said the doctor. "Time of death is 2:15," said another doctor. While Mindy, Squire, Queen Amphitrite, Triton, Spongebob, Patrick, Eugene, and Squidward were waiting in the emergency room the nurse came by and had to break the bad news to all of them.

"He's lost a lot of blood," the doctor explained in sadness. "Is he gonna be alright?" asked Mindy. "I'm sorry, but he's gone," The doctor said in sadness feeling upset for King Neptune's family.

Mindy and her bother as they both started crying in grief but the queen put her hand on her face crying while everyone else felt sympathy for King Neptune's family.

At the castle...

Just then, Plankton was in a boat crying in guilt and started a standoff with the police, swat team, royal guards, and sheriff while he was in the car trying to kill himself with the same gun that he allegedly used in the shooting and other people were also watching this scene.

"Get out of the boat and put your tiny hands in the air now!" one officer shouted angrily into a megaphone.

"No I can't because I'm ashamed of what I've done and I don't deserse to live so I'll just execute myself!" Plankton said tearfully and in exasperation.

"Yeah I wouldn't do that if I were you," another officer said into the megaphone.
