In the training room, Tyran and the monkey team surrounds Chiro as they're about begin training him.
"Training?" He shrugged, wavily. "What? Come on, I don't any more training."
"This isn't just any sparring session, Chiro!" Nova said, firmly.
Otto went up and did the gyro-spin kick, But Chiro missed by jumping away from him.
"You must be in peak physical form to confront the Skeleton droid." Gibson said before shot forward with flying kick.
Chiro caught his foot and spins around.
"Master Offay will train you with the same martial arts skills years ago on Galaxia." Nova said as Chiro threw Gibson away.
"Seriously, Nova, I've been doing this forever." Chiro said before jumping up. "And don't you think…"
He palm-fisted Sparx away before seeing Tyran shot forward with hand-chop strike. Chiro grabbed his arm, blocking it and leaps up to kick him, but Tyran blocked his kick by grabbing it. The boy twist his body to kick his head, but the cyborg used his elbow to block it. Chiro leaned his body down, making Tyran tipped over and kicked his face, knocking his mask off and away.
"I'm good enough?" Chiro smirked, "After all, I am the chosen one and uh…" He looked around him as the monkeys and cyborg watched in disbelief. "I did just wipe the floor with the Hyper Force."
Antauri hovers behind Chiro.
"You think too much of your abilities, Chiro." Antauri said, "That leaves you weak and defenseless."
"Defenseless!?" He snapped. "No way, what are you talking about?"
The silver monkey strikes him down as Chiro ranted about defenseless.
"I see your point." Chiro groaned. "Maybe I could learn new move or two."
The Hyper Force went back to the bridge and resume their search for Skeleton King Worm until they stumbled upon something on the monitor.
"Garaxia! No! No, it can't be!" Nova gasped in horror at the planet which is dead.
"What happened?" Otto asked.
"Readings show a high level of negative necrotic energy." Gibson said, looking at the scans.
"The Skeleton King Worm has corrupted this world." Antauri deduced.
"And we're too late." Tyran said, grimly.
"Master Offay. No!" Nova said, worried about her master.

"While exploring the outskirts of the city, I discovered an abandoned Super Robot. It was then my life was transformed by the mysterious Power Primate. The Robot Monkeys and a Cyborg were awakened and I, Chiro, became their leader. Our quest: save Shuggazoom City from the evils of the Skeleton King."

The Super Robot landed on the tainted planet Galaxia and the Hyper Force enters the misty jungle with Chiro wearing his space suit.
"I think this is really a bad idea, Nova." Sparx said.
As they venture to the jungle look for Master Offay, Otto begins to feel strange and fatigue.
"Something's wrong?" He groaned, holding his head.
"I feel… increasingly… ill." Gibson grunted, weakly.
"Hang in there, monkey team." Chiro said, "We have to see if anyone here is still alive."
"Wait, many undead lifeforms are approaching." Antauri said, sensing something ahead of them.
The Hyper Force peek through the tall grass and sees the inhabitance of Galaxia is corrupted in their zombie-like state.
"What's going on here?" Otto said.
"This is the outcome Skeleton King's corruption." Gibson said, "The residents of this world have been transformed."
"Chiro, I'm really sick." Nova moaned while Sparx hold his vomit in.
"Is it nighttime already?" Otto moaned as he keels over.
"Otto!" Chiro cried.
"I think I had a headache." Tyran groaned, weakly while holding his head before collapsed on the ground.
"What's wrong with me?" Nova groaned before fainted with Sparx and Gibson.
Antauri held on to the tree as he tried to fight back from this unknown causes.
"Antauri…!" Chiro cried, weakly. "I can't make it."
The boy soon collapsed on the ground with the others before Antauri falls on Chiro as he blacks out.
A while later, the Hyper Force was being brought in the room as they begin to wake up from an unknown cause in the jungle.
"What's going on?" Nova asked as Sparx held his head.
When Chiro sat up, Otto was shocked and surprised as Chiro has some kind of blisters in his face.
"Chiro, what's happened to your face?!" He asked.
"What?!" Chiro gasped and looked at his hands. "It can't be!" He looked at Gibson for answer. "Gibson, what's happening to me!?"
Gibson used his scanner and scans Chiro's body.
"This tainted world is affecting your biology." He said. "The longer we remain here, the more permanent the transformation."
Antauri hovers beside him. "How long do we have?"
"Four hours. Perhaps."
"Wait, if Chiro is affected by this corrupted world, how come we're not affected by it?" Tyran asked.
"It appears that due to our cybernetic halves; we're immune from it." Gibson answered. "Including you, Tyran."
The cyborg sighed. "Lucky for us, but Chiro isn't."
As they discussed, the door opens and reveals a fish-like wardens.
"You, boy!" He barked. "You, the freak, and your five bugs come with us!"
"They're monkeys, you ugly horde rat looking-!" Chiro snarled.
"Easy, Chiro." Antauri calmed him. "Let's find out what they want first."
In the arena, the bell rang as the Hyper Force was taken to the wrestling ring with all the monsters around them as the spectators. They see the Anubis-like monster is facing against the horned monster with golden finger in his left hand as the crowd cheers.
The horned monster punched the Anubis fighter and another before grabbing him and rammed it against the ring bar as the spectators cheered. The horned fighter held the Anubis fighter above him and throws him to the ring stretcher which bounce it back towards the horned fighter. The Anubis fighter's opponent used his Golden Finger attack and blows his opponent out of the ring.
The little creature rolls down from the rope as the announcer.
"The amazing Mandober has been defeated! Corgon the Great win!" He said.
"Wow! That big guy is pretty good." Otto remarked.
"Yeah, he doesn't look tough." Chiro said with crazed look on his face. "I mean, I've taken on the best."
Tyran looked at Chiro, disturbed by his unusual look.
"I almost didn't recognize it but this was the same arena I trained in years ago." Nova said, noticed the change in arena. "With Master Offay."
The bell ringed as the announcer turned his attention on the Hyper Force.
"Attention, everyone, we have newcomers to the arena!"
The crowd looked at the Hyper Force as they were perturbed by the crowd.
"Welcome, new blood! Your only root to freedom is to fight your way out." He said. "Refuse to fight and you will be destroyed!"
"What do they take us for? Rash young fools?" Gibson said, annoyed.
"We're not getting duped fighting in some dumb-" Sparx begins before Nova asked.
"Where's Chiro?"
"Listen up!" They looked at the arena to see Chiro is on it. "I'm entering this little battle club! I'm here to win the freedom of the Hyper Force."
"What the heck did got himself into!?" Tyran said.
"Oh, this is extraordinarily bad." Antauri said in disbelief.
"Oh, I'll take on your… Corgon the Great!" Chiro proclaimed while facing Corgon. "And anybody else thrown at me!"
"Corgon has only been defeated once." The announcer said as Corgon walks away from the arena. "You must match his record to fight. You start at the bottom."
The bell ringed and the fighter looks like a two-legged shark enters the arena as Chiro's first opponent.
"I got something for you to chew on." Chiro mocked as the shark fighter snarled at him.
Chiro jumped dive-kicked him, but the shark fighter grabbed his foot by jaws and slams him down a few times as Tyran and the monkey team watched them, concerned about the boy's safety.
"Things aren't looking so good." Otto said, worried.
The shark fighter picked him up and twirls Chiro around before throwing him out of the arena in front of Hyper Force.
"You okay, Chiro?" Tyran asked, helping him up.
"Oh, I need some kind of headache medicine." Chiro groaned. "Or… or maybe a neck brace."
"What you did was reckless and you allow yourself to get beaten by your opponent so easily."
"Yeah, you might need more than just cockiness in the ring, huh, Chiro?" Nova frowned.
"It's this transformation." Chiro realized, looking at his hands. "It's making vicious. Overconfident!"
They heard a tap and sees the elderly man with grey skin and a walking stick.
"Perhaps I can help." The man suggested.
"Master Offay!" Nova said, overjoyed to see her master.
"Nova, my old apprentice." Master Offay said.
"This world has affected you too." She noticed her master's changed appearance.
"Once the transformation is complete, it changes both one's outer and inner self completely."
"Cool." Otto said.
Tyran smacked his head, making him winced in pain.
"That's not a good thing, Otto." Nova said.
"So this is your old master?" Chiro asked.
"Offay is known as one of the greatest warriors in the galaxy." She explained. "He's taught the best of the best. Like yours truly, of course."
Chiro placed a fist to his palm and bow his head.
"Master Offay, can you instruct me in the ways of true monster fighting?" He asked.
Master Offay raised one brow. "If you will learn…?"
A few minutes later, Master Offay led the Hyper Force down the stairs in tunnel.
"What's going on here, master?" Nova asked. "What happened to the dojo?"
"The Skeleton King has cursed…" Master Offay begins.
(Backstory)
Skeleton King Worm looms over the planet Galaxia and spread his dark energy all over the world.
"…us, dear Nova."
He and the other habitants were affected by Skeleton King's corruption.
"Now we're forever trapped in a limbo of endless fighting."
The habitants turned into a monster and started to fight against each other for survival.
"Unseen forces compel us to destroy each other."
(Backstory ended)
"Can't you just bust out of here?" Chiro questioned.
"There is no escape from these tainted walls." He said. "No escape."
Once they arrived the training area, Chiro stood before Master Offay as he is prepared to train.
"To still the body is difficult, but to still the mind is even harder." He explained as Chiro was being put-off. "It requires the most extreme concentration."
Noticing that Chiro isn't listening, Master Offay whacked his head with a stick.
"I SAID CONCENTRATE, YOU BOOB!" He scolded as he Chiro hold his head in pain.
Beginning of training, Chiro took his shoes off and looked at the ground with hot coals. As Chiro put his foot on the hot coals, he feels his feet is burning.
"Hot, hot, hot!" He shrieked while hopping as he hold his foot up to cool down. "I can't do it! It's just too hot!"
"No, you're wrong. It's not hot enough!" Master Offay said before whacking his head again. "You big nitwit!"
Next lesson, Chiro is standing the tree stump with one leg while holding the teacups in his arms, head, and knee as he remains still and Offay pour the tea in the cup.
"A still spirit conquer anything." Offay said.
Chiro stayed still by closing his eyes to drown out the noises around him until a fly flew on to his nose. A fly causes Chiro to lose his balance and fell as the tea cups smashed on the ground.
"This is gonna take some time." He said, stroking his beard.
The next part of the training is the swinging dummies as Chiro's monster form is slowly taking over. He proceeds punching and palm-striking them away, breaking them. Offay is smirking at him as his training is coming to fruition.
Chiro punches the punching bag while standing on the hot coals before punching the sandbag away.
Finally, Master Offay watches as fully transformed monster Chiro stands on the pointed crystal with his barefoot while standing still.
"Concentrate, Chiro. Look around you." Offay instructed him.
Chiro opened his eyes as the fly flew by him and caught it with his two fingers.
"Am I worthy, master?" Chiro asked, letting the fly go.
"Almost." Offay said, "Six more years and I will make you a true monster fighter."
"Six more years!?" He exclaimed.
"Just a little Offay humor." Nova's master chuckled, making Chiro sighed at his jokes.
Back at the arena, two monster fighter grapple against each other until a teeter monster fighter jumped and double kicked the lizard head fighter to the ground as Master Offay and the Hyper Force arrived.
"Master, my new monster form makes me feel savage!" Chiro said in his monster voice. "Out of control!"
"You must be calm and collected at all time, Chiro. Focus." Master Offay advised.
Antauri turns to his comrads.
"Otto, Sparx, Gibson, Tyran, you four must search for the way out." Antauri told them. "There must be a secret exit."
"We'll search the dungeon." Gibson suggested.
"Come on, I'll take the lead." Sparx said, taking point.
"Antauri, watch the boy." Tyran said.
The silver monkey nodded as they left to find the exit while he and the rest of them enters the arena. While the audience cheered, Chiro stretched his leg as the announcer and the female monster rings the bell. Chiro stood there, meditating before opening his eyes.
"I'm ready to fight." Chiro smirked.
The shark fighter snarled at him and shot forward to bite him, but missed when Chiro quickly sidestepped. The shark fighter turned around and lunged at him with its fist, but Chiro blocked its fist. Surprised that Chiro caught its fist, the shark fighter repeatedly punched as the boy simply blocked it until the shark fighter tires out. Chiro throws him with one arm while Master Offay, Antauri, Nova watched him as Chiro elbow its face and knee kicked its jaws, breaking its teeth before dropping kick its head, enough to split the shark's head in two as it hits the ground.
"We have a new winner!" The announcer said as the female monster held Chiro's hand up. "The Monkey Boy takes out the Toothsome Terror!"
"That's right. No more shark face! Chiro the Mighty!" He boasted.
"Do not let your victory go to your head, Chiro!" Offay scolded.
"It's his monster form." Nova said, worried. "He's getting more savage!"
Meanwhile, Tyran and the group explored the dungeon to look for the exit.
"What is this place?" Otto asked.
"Looks like some kind of prison block." Gibson guessed. "Whatever you do, don't touch the doors."
As Gibson warned them, Sparx went ahead of them.
"Prison? Heh, doesn't look like anyone's in-AHH!" Sparx yelped as the monster's hand grabbed him.
"Augh!" Gibson yelped before shooting his drill laser at the monster's hand, making it let go of Sparx as it retreats in the prison.
Gibson elbowed him for not listening him as Sparx groaned.
They continued to find the exit until they came upon the large door with chains and a big lock.
"Hey, I think this one is an exit." Otto said before ran towards the door.
"Otto, what are you doing?!" Gibson yelled.
"Yeah, I don't you should…" Tyran begins, but Otto cuts the chains.
Just as he did, the door opens, revealing a giant stone-like monster with cuffs and muzzle. Tyran and the monkey team retreated back as the monster is following them.
Back in the arena, Chiro is facing a snail monster fighter, who shoots pink ooze from the shell at him. Chiro simply dodged them and shot forward. As the snail fighter emerged from its shell, Chiro punched him away, knocking it out.
Next opponent is the cheetah fighter, who throws his punches at Chiro, who blocked his fists until the cheetah fighter punches him rapidly. Chiro simply blocked his attacks, enough to make the crowd dizzy before jumping spin kick him, knocking him out.
Chiro's next opponent with spin-top for a head. The opponent pulls a string from its head, making its head spun around with razor sharp tooth and flung towards Chiro, who kicked the head back to his opponents. The spin head pierce its chest, making it drop dead before the bell rang.
In the dungeon, Tyran and the monkey team ran away from the giant monster.
"Faster, Gibson! You're slowing me down!" Sparx yelled while running.
Gibson stops and turns to shoot the monster, but it has no effect against it.
"Can anything stop this thing?!" Gibson said.
Otto throws his chained saw blade at the monster, but accidently broke its cuff.
"Fantastic job, Otto. You just freed him!" Gibson chided.
"Oh no!" Sparx gulped.
The monkeys hid behind Tyran.
"Stay back, you behemoth!" The cyborg snarled, arming his axe and mace.
Instead of attacking them, the monster took its muzzle off.
"No, wait! I mean you no harm." It said in gentle tone. "I'm not trying to hurt you."
"You're not?" Sparx said.
"No, you freed me from my imprisonment."
"Your imprisonment?" Tyran questioned.
"Freed you?" Gibson added. "Are all these monsters being forced to fight?"
"Yes, for the warlord keeps us here." The monster said. "Come, follow me."
In the arena, the bell rang as the semi-final is on.
"This is it." Nova said.
"The final fight." Antauri said. "Let us hope Chiro remember his training."
Chiro cracked his knuckles as he prepares to fight while Master Offay watches him.
"Do not let your savage side take over, Chiro." He reminded. "Concentrate."
The announcer drops in.
"Here it is, the big battle you've all been waiting for. Chiro the Mighty versus Corgon the Great!"
Corgon present himself to the wrestling ring and took off his cape before jumping on the ring and land, making the platform shake and spring Chiro up. Taking advantage of it, Corgon jumps and catch his leg as they fall as he performs a spinning pile driver to the ground. The crowd cheers for Corgon as Chiro is reeling in pain from the fall.
"Help! I can't beat him!" Chiro cried.
"Chiro!" Nova cried as Corgon dragged him away. "Chiro, remember your training!"
The boy snapped realization and amped his power primate. He jumped up and back kicked Corgon's face before kicking him repeatedly before double kicked him. Corgon skid to stop and shot forward. The two monster fighters parred with fists and kicks until Corgon punch him, making staggered a bit, but Chiro punches him back before jumping and spin kick in the face a few times and double kicked him. Corgon was thrown back and recovered quick as Chiro comes down and went in his in-still state. Corgon channels all his strengths and powers left to his signature attack, the Golden Finger.
"The notorious Golden Finger!" Nova gasped.
"One touch can only mean instant destruction!" Antauri said.
Corgon used his Golden Finger attack on Chiro and blast him. Chiro was withstanding the blast as the crowd being blown away from the attack. Chiro held his hand palm up and reflect his attack against Corgon, who was being blown by his own attack. As the light dies down, Corgon was reduced to small fragile size before Nova and Antauri jumps in.
"Ha! Pretty sensitive looking for a Corgon." Nova smirked.
"Chiro the Mighty has defeated Corgon the Great!" The announcer said as Chiro stood victorious.
Meanwhile, Tyran and the monkey team was led to the secret room with monster heads mounted on the wall as a trophies and black statue-like Durga.
"Oh great, what is this place?" Otto groaned.
"The warlord's secret inner sanctum." The monster answered.
"Man, that's a whole lot of trophies on the wall." Tyran noted.
"Yeah, this doesn't look good." Sparx said, noticed the empty spot on the wall.
"The warlord has been waiting for a special fighter to fill that spot." The monster said.
"Uh, what special fighter?" Otto asked.
"Oh no." They looked to see Gibson, who looked at the scroll. "I think I know who this alleged warlord is."
"And I think I know who that next special fighter is." Tyran said, looking at the empty trophy crest.
Back in the arena, the crowd is cheering for Chiro as they were expecting for another round.
"I've taken out all your battle monsters!" He bellowed. "It's over. we've won our freedom!"
"Oh no, no, no, Chiro!" The announcer interrupts him. "There is still one more to defeat."
"Who?" Nova inquired. "Who's left?"
"The greatest monster of them all…" The announcer pointed the final fighter. "Offay, the honored master!"
Master Offay revealed himself as the final opponent while he bulging his biceps and has muscular chest tone
"Offay, you're the master of all these monsters?!" Chiro exclaimed.
"Of course, this is my dojo." He said. "Endlessly, I search for a worthy opponent but find only weaklings crushed by my wrath."
"Offay has succumbed to the power of the Worm." Antauri deduced as Tyran and his party arrived.
"No kidding, Antauri." Sparx said. "He's gone completely out of his box!"
"More like he's lost it." Tyran said before looking at yellow monkey. "Nova…"
"I know, let's get him!" Nova declared.
Tyran and the robot monkey team nodded in agreement before jumping in to back up Chiro as the large monster snarled. The Hyper Force is facing against Master Offay as the final bell rang.
"I will see you all destroyed before I allow you to escape." Offay said.
"Oh yeah!" Otto snarled by throwing his chained saw blade at him, who simply caught the saw blades with two fingers before throwing him away.
Otto was thrown towards the round cyclops monster, who caught him as the crowds clapped at them.
Sparx shot forward with magnets and punched Offay, but it didn't faze him. Offay huffed his chest and kicked Sparx away.
Nova shot forward next with giant fist and punched her master, who evade her blow before palm strike her away.
Gibson jumps down and fires his drill laser at Offay, who spins around rapidly and deflecting the laser attacks at Gibson, who yelps before getting hit by his own attacks.
As soon as Offay stops spinning, he now faces Chiro, Tyran, and Antauri. Antauri jumps up with his ghost claws as Offay jumps towards him. Antauri parried his ghost claws attack while Offay counters him with palm strikes attack before passing each other. Antauri rebounds from the floor and shot back towards him, body slammed him to the ceiling. However, Offay quickly recovers and spin-body slammed Antauri, sending him pummeled to the ground.
"Antauri!" Chiro cried as Offay comes down.
"You'll pay for that!" Tyran snapped, arming his axe-mace weapon.
The cyborg shot forward and bludgeons him with his weapons as Offay parried and evade his attacks. Tyran roundhouse kicked him before jumping up and performs a corkscrew kick, but Offay blocked his attack throws off of him. The cyborg Tyran and Offay shot forward and strike with fist/axe, but they shifted their left shoulder back, dodging their attack before backed against the rings.
"You have skills for a cyborg." Offay remarked.
"And you were corrupted by Skeleton King Worm!" Tyran snarled.
Tyran shot forward to blugeon him with harpoon-mace, but Offay slides under his attack and grabbed his arm, striking his pressure point before striking his other arm. Tyran grunted as his arms is injured and rendered useless before Offay punched and kicked him all over his body before giving him uppercut his chin and kicked him, sending him crashed against the wall, defeating him.
"Tyran!" Chiro yelled.
The boy growled at Offay before shot forward and punched his abdomen, but Offay bounced his fist back. Decided to humor Chiro, Offay dared him to punch his face and Chiro shot forward again and punch his face, but Offay spins him around and throws him off to the ground as Offly smiled, sinisterly.
"Now I will teach you your final lesson." Offay said.
The greatest monster fighter crossed his arms and waved to sync back his arms.
"A still spirit… can conquer anything." Chiro said before flipping back on the post ring and enter his stillness pose. "And that includes… YOU!"
Chiro closed his eyes as he focus his attacks. Master Offay jumps up as Chiro found his still spirit and jumps up. Offay channels his attacks through his hands in claw-like state while Chiro focus his primate power to his hands. They both unleashed their energy attacks, Chiro's power pierce through Offay's attacks and him, making yelled in pain from Chiro's primate power as he fell on the ground while the crowd cheered. Chiro landed on the arena as Tyran, still has injured arms, and the monkey team joins him. They see Offay grabbed the ring and hops back in the arena, looking furiously at Chiro.
"A student cannot surpass the master!" Offay exclaimed as Chiro glowed in Power Primate's aura.
"Then it's time for the master to say goodbye!" He said, unleashed his inner power primate at Master Offay, who screamed as the inner power primate swallows him while sending him crashed against the wall.
The monster crowd applauded as Master Offay is defeated.
"What move was that?" He grunted before Chiro held out his hand to him, surprised him.
"If you want to learn, I'll teach you." He said.
Instead of grabbing hand, Master Offay bowed to him, respectfully as he accepted that he is defeated.
"Bow to the new master, Chiro the Mighty!" the announcer said as the monster crowd bows to Chiro. "What shall we do, noble master? Shall we begin a new round of battles for your pleasure?"
"No, the Skeleton King Worm is clouding your minds." Chiro said, "Forcing you to fight like mindless zombies. Use your freedom, get as far away from this planet as you can."
The crowd once again roared, cheerfully.
The Hyper Force headed back to the Super Robot and flies to space as the inhabitants follows to flees away from the tainted planet.
In Antauri's room, Chiro looks at his hands as he is back to normal.
"You're finally back to your old self." Nova said.
"Yeah, but I kind of miss being a monster." He said, "Enhanced strength, crazy battle moves, I felt all… powerful."
"You don't that kind of power."
"I knew you would defeat them all, Chiro." Antauri smiled. "You have what no monster fighter has."
"What's that?" Chiro asked.
"Your humanity."
They smiled as that is part of what Chiro have.
