The trees are blocking the sun.
It's now quiet after the chaotic fall with Eggman and the Tornado.
Unfortunately, the Tornado is now totaled after Eggman damaged it with a claw earlier.
Groaning, Sonic finds himself back to his blurred furred normal self after the chaos emeralds negative reaction.
At least the emeralds are back with him.
"Sonic? Are you okay?" Amy appears in front of Sonic and then picks him up from the ground.
"Ugh… Yeah. Where's Tania?" Sonic asked.
Amy shakes her head, saddened that her friend is gone again.
Sonic clenches his teeth, realising that he'll never get her back.
"What about Tails?" Sonic asks a different question.
"He's fine. I patched him up earlier." Amy reveals Tails, who is still on a Tornado with a bandaid on his forehead.
Tails grunts as he opens his eyes.
"Sonic? Amy?" Tails turns towards the duo as well as the Death Egg Robot, which is lying on the ground. "Sonic! I'm sorry! I can't save Tania!" Tails immediately jumps off the Tornado and grabs Sonic's arms, apologising to Sonic for failing to get Tania back.
Sonic shakes his head and places his hand on Tails' shoulder.
"It's okay. Eggman knew what we're doing. That man really is desperate to try to beat us." Sonic knows that Tails did his best, making him smile.
"Sonic…" Tails had realised that it's not slowing him down that he promised, but not to burden himself for Sonic's sake, even though Sonic refuses to let anyone slow him down.
The trio are seeing a destroyed Tornado, making Tails frown and look at Sonic.
"I guess I didn't keep your plane safe, huh."
"Nope. It sure looks like it needed some repairs." Sonic concluded.
"Also, what happened to you earlier? Your fur has turned black with negative chaos energy." Amy asked with worry.
"I don't know. The chaos emeralds did react to me being angry and scared." Sonic shakes his head while holding it.
"We need to check them out later. Right now, Eggman's going to wake up and we don't have a plane to get us back home." Tails warned, realising that it's the end for them.
"Sonic, are you okay being Super Sonic again?" Amy asked.
"Heh. I'll be okay." Sonic chuckles while rubbing his nuzzle with his thumb.
"Amy, you did mention that the chaos energy runs like batteries."
"Yeah. It was when we faced Metal Sonic in Little Planet. Metal was dying when he's low on it. He sacrificed himself to take us back to earth." Amy frowns after remembering the event a month ago.
Sonic closes his eyes as he feels the same as Amy.
"Oh. I see. Then let's lure Eggman so he runs out of energy." Tails accepts that idea, knowing that Eggman used most of it trying to stop Sonic and his friends from going back home safely.
After Sonic and Amy nod, a honking horn is heard as a pick-up truck arrives and slides near Sonic and his friends.
"Amy! Miles! Nicky! Thank goodness you're okay!" Miss Wing jumps out of the pick-up truck as she rushes towards the trio.
"Miss Wing?" Amy is surprised to see Miss Wing arriving in the forest.
"Stay back! We can't stand near this hunk of junk." Sonic warns as he points at the robot with his thumb.
To Miss Wing's shock, that robot resembles the man that took everything away, making her rush towards the trio.
"Get in the truck." Miss Wing said while running towards the vehicle and getting closer to them.
Sonic, Tails and Amy are looking at the Tornado, leaving no other choice but to leave it until Eggman is dealt with.
That is until a robot noise is heard, causing the trio and Miss Wing to exclaim out of shock, immediately making Sonic go super as is shocks Miss Wing.
"What the!?" Miss Wing is left flabbergasted by what she just saw in front of her.
"Long story." Amy giggles as Tails chuckles nervously.
"Urgh… What!? Only 20.2%!? Grr! So this is how you brats wanna play!? And you even brought another pest! I will crush all of you!" Eggman yelled as the Death Egg Robot pushed itself to its feet and then ran towards them.
"Get in the truck! Hurry!" Miss Wing yelled as Amy and Tails immediately entered the vehicle, leaving Sonic to fly above and put his thumb up.
Finally, Super Sonic is dashing away as the pick-up truck revs its engine as it moves at a high speed.
"COME BACK HERE!" Eggman roared as the robot ran as fast as the pick-up truck moved, showing how abnormal its speed was.
Emerald Town
Super Sonic is leading as the pick-up truck drifts towards Sonic's direction, even the Death Egg Robot slides and rushes towards the vehicle.
Pulling out the speaker, Miss Wing is seeing a robot tailing her at a hasty pace, making her steer as hard as she could which had Tails and Amy hitting both sides of the vehicle as they yell.
"Rosemary! I got the robot on my tail! He's not too thrilled to see us alive!" Miss Wing called.
[Okay. Lead him to us.] Rosemary's voice called.
As the pick-up truck stops under the building a car moves out, following Sonic's lead as the Death Egg Robot stops itself, struggling to choose its target.
"ARGH! You little rodents! Trying to lure me, are you!? Well it ain't going to work!" Eggman pushes the button, making his robot fire its arm towards Rosemary's car.
This had Rosemary hastily steer as the car is struggling to go straight, alerting Sonic to block the other arm in order to get Rosemary towards her target.
Sonic is unsure what's going on, but he can tell the townspeople are trying to get Eggman to use the last of his remaining energy.
With Rosemary going past other vehicles, they spread out, causing the Death Egg Robot to look left and right, unable to find a specific target.
This leads to Sonic kicking the Death Egg Robot's backside and then zooms away.
"Why you! WHERE ARE YOU!?" Eggman is fuming with rage, knowing it's all a trick.
In the Death Egg, Eggman has the advantage, but in Emerald Town, he has a major disadvantage against a bunch of population.
This causes the Death Egg Robot to spread the Eggman bombs, making Sonic and Amy smacking all of them towards the robot itself.
When Eggman scans a certain car, he finds a fox woman driving to escape, leading an arm to fire and catch the vehicle.
"What!?" Rosemary gasped, realising that Eggman had found the one who planned it all.
"You! So you're the fox boy's mother! Trying to play mind games on me!" Eggman prepares the other arm to crush the car in the process of killing Rosemary.
"Mom!" Tails yelled out of fear of losing his mother.
Before Sonic intervenes to save Rosemary, appearing out of nowhere is a missile blowing up the arms as the car falls to the ground.
"Ugh…" Rosemary grunts, finding out that G.U.N. has appeared to assist Sonic and the town.
[I thought you needed some help, Rosemary.] A familiar voice called, surprising Rosemary that it's the woman she despised a long time ago.
"Alicia!? You mean…"
[Don't take this the wrong way! I'm not doing this for you, I'm only doing this for your son. Miles deserves someone like you, so don't waste your life being Dr. Robotnik's sacrifice.] Alicia explains her honesty, making Rosemary smile as she can see Alicia being a help with the military.
"Thank you, Alicia. And thank you for helping Miles. It means a lot to me." Rosemary sighs.
[Don't push it.] Alicia finally hangs up, making her watch Super Sonic and the G.U.N. air force circling the Death Egg Robot.
On Amy's side, she's excited that more people have shown up to stop Eggman.
"They're here!" Amy exclaimed with joy.
"That means Sonic has extra hands!" Tails cheered.
As for Sonic, he's waiting for the moment as the G.U.N. air force still fires everything at Eggman and his bombs.
"Ngh! I hate all of you! I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG!" Eggman yells as he's unable to fight back against a horde that's surrounding him.
As the energy is completely depleted, the Death Egg Robot is now done for as it can't fix itself anymore, giving Sonic a chance to charge towards the Death Egg Robot and pierce through its stomach.
After that, Sonic is circling around piercing the machine everywhere, even Eggman in the cockpit dodges from the golden light as he shrieks for his life.
Finally, Super Sonic slides on the ground and points 2 of his fingers at Eggman like a gun, making him smirk as it's the end of Eggman's reign of terror.
"Bang."
Explosions are coming out of the robot, leading to the cockpit to open as Eggman sighs out of misery after showing his bald head.
"I hate you so much." Eggman says his last words, only for him to be consumed by the explosions of his robot.
Finally a loud boom had Eggman flying away from Emerald Town, freeing the people of their fears of Eggman's attack, making them cheer as they surround Sonic, who had his quills lowered and his fur back to blue which renders him normal again.
As Sonic looks up, he sees a G.U.N. pilot salutes while flying away with other jets, making Sonic salute back after beating Eggman with some assistance.
Amy then glomps onto Sonic while crying, Tails jumps in front of him with excitement.
"Sonic. You, Miles and Amy are the ones doing a lot of work in defeating Dr. Robotnik. I… I'm glad you're here. You and Amy had helped my son grow and be more confident. If there's anything I can repay you with, then which one?" Rosemary asks while being overjoyed for seeing what's been going on recently.
Sonic and Amy turn towards Tails as the townspeople are standing back with surprise.
"Tails, you're one of us now. Let's go on adventures together." Sonic raises his hand as well as Amy while she giggles.
Tails is even overjoyed that they fully accepted him as part of the group, making Tails hug Sonic and Amy.
"Thanks guys. And I'll bring back your friends and family. Sonic, Amy, how about we call ourselves Team Sonic." Tails suggested a team name, making Amy think and then nod.
"Sure. Sonic is great with being a leader. Right, Sonic?" Amy agreed, making Sonic raise his hands and wave them.
"Now, hold on! I'm not fit to be a leader. I'm only there to run." Sonic blushes while scratching his face.
"But, you can lead us like you always do. Come on, Sonic, I know you're confident enough to be our team leader." Amy insisted while holding Sonic's hands.
The townspeople agreed, knowing that a living fairytale like him is fit to be a leader, making Sonic sigh and look at Amy with a warm smile.
"Okay, you win. I'll be the leader and we'll go with Team Sonic." Sonic is defeated, knowing that it's time for him to lead Tails and Amy to their next journey.
Looking at Rosemary, Sonic nods with confidence, even Rosemary accepts her son going on adventures with Sonic and Amy.
People accepted that Tails is not a freak and Sonic and Amy are always there for him.
"What's our next adventure, little bro?" Sonic asked.
"Angel Island. I found it after Tania fell in there. That means there's a perfect chance of bringing her back." Tails answered.
"Then let's go!" Amy cheers.
"Not yet. We need a plan." Tails said, knowing that Eggman is coming back with even stronger robots and will straight go after Team Sonic.
"I think tomorrow will be the start of your next adventure. You kids need a rest." Rosemary said while patting Tails' head.
Sonic and Amy sigh as they have no choice.
"Whatever you say, ma'am." Sonic shrugs his shoulders as he still smiles.
"I wonder what Miss Prower's cooking for dinner?" Amy asked.
"Heh. I bet it's something tasty." Sonic rubs his round stomach as he's eager to eat something before going to Angel Island.
As Emerald Town is celebrating, Team Sonic, Rosemary and Miss Wing laughs together with happiness coming back to them.
Kingdom of Acorn
With the G.U.N. soldiers saluting their farewell to Nigel, Alicia and Sally, the royal family waves as the Commander bows.
"It's been nice serving with you, King Acorn." The Commander said calmly.
"Indeed. Thank you and the children for bringing my family back together." Said Nigel.
"Hey. You forgot about us." A voice called, catching the military and the family off guard.
Appearing is Elias and Megan, who is shown to be battered up.
"Elias!" Sally rushes towards her brother, hugging him as she misses him.
"Heh. I saw him. The real Sonic." Elias says while patting Sally's shoulder with a warm smile.
"You did!? He's amazing! He even had Miles and Amy tagging with him! He even saved Bunnie before I woke up." Sally cheerfully tells her brother her side of the scenario.
As Alicia catches Megan from falling, Elias is looking at his mother with a serious look in his face.
"Welcome back, my son." Alicia is showing genuine love to her son, realising he and his friends survived all this time.
"Yeah. I'm home, mother." Elias smiles back and then embraces his mother with familial love. "Take care of Megan. She's badly injured."
"I know. You have a lot of explaining to tell." Alicia sounds serious as she's truly worried about her son.
"Yes, mother." Elias laughs nervously.
Nigel is glad that his family is back together again, leading to him turning around.
"Nigel?" Alicia is confused about Nigel's departure.
"Father?" Elias and Sally also felt the same way as their mother.
"Dinner's almost ready. Welcome back, Elias." Nigel reveals his kindhearted smile towards his own son.
Finally, the G.U.N. is leaving the Acorn family as the vehicles are leaving the kingdom back to their country.
Angel Island
"Well… That's another plan that failed again." Eggman groaned while picking himself up and patting himself.
Where is Eggman?
He's stumbled into a mysterious cave with glowing crystals on them, making him look around.
"Strange… The chaos energy is through the roof. Where did the energy come from?" Eggman is seeing abnormal signals as it's 50 times and 75 times more chaos power than Sonic's energy.
350 of chaos energy that is 50 multiplied by 7, adding with one of them that is 525 times, making it too much for Eggman's signal to scan.
This piqued Eggman's curiosity, making him walk towards where the abnormal signal is pointing at.
As Eggman arrives, he sees a bunch of large chaos emeralds, even a massive green one that is in the middle.
"Do my eyes deceive me!? I finally found something powerful than a chaos emerald!" Eggman climbs up the stairs.
875 times the energy is far too much, even for a human with 300 IQ like Eggman is unable to withstand that much chaos energy.
"Fascinating. With that kind of power, there's nothing Sonic can do to defeat me! I hope you're ready, not even your lousy chaos emeralds are going to save you this time! OHOHOHOHO!" Laughing, Eggman is scheming a new plan to take Sonic down with Tails and Amy.
Then a sound stopped Eggman from laughing with himself.
"Who's there!?" Eggman turns around as he comes across a red furred anthropomorphic echidna boy with clawed mittens for gloves.
"I'm the one who should be asking that question, trespasser. Who are you?" The echidna boy asks while raising his fists.
"Oh great, another infestation trying to attack me because I did something to them." Eggman groans as he's now the enemy of the whole planet at this point.
"What are you talking about? I have never seen you before in my life, so square up, trespasser!" The echidna is prepared to go 1v1 on Eggman.
"Wait! You never?" Eggman stops himself, realising that he just met this guy.
"Not really. I usually see trespassers trying to steal what's precious to this island, but I have never seen a human trespasser. You must be the first one here." Said the echidna.
"Well, I… Oh never mind, just kick me out of this island already." Eggman can tell it's all over, even a stranger has something against him, making him sit down.
"You sounded like you're having trouble. If so, then I'll assist you, trespasser." The echidna sits down next to Eggman, seeing as Eggman is miserable.
Eggman halts, realising that the echidna is willing to help anyone who's in need, making him think that the echidna is not looking at the evil that's in him, but a human that's in trouble.
This makes Eggman widen his grin, knowing that if he manipulates the echidna, then the emeralds are his to take, especially the large green one.
"Okay. There's this blue hedgehog named Sonic. He's not the only one that's been bullying me all my life, but his know it all orange fox friend Tails and his mean pink hedgehog girlfriend Amy all ganging up on me and kicking me when I'm down." Eggman lies while looking sad.
"What!? They did that!? Why!?" The echidna wants to know why they did that to Eggman.
"Because they have nothing better to do. And what's worse, they'll steal your emeralds." Said Eggman.
"The Master Emerald is in danger!?" The echidna exclaimed out of shock.
"Yes. That's why I'm here to warn you. If you don't stop Sonic and his lackeys, then your Master Emerald is gone." Eggman concluded.
The echidna had a feeling why this scientist is troubled, making him smirk and raise his hand.
"Then I'll help. The Master Emerald will be protected at all costs." Said the echidna.
"Before we shake hands, allow me to introduce myself, I am Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Friends call me Eggman." Eggman introduced himself.
"Hmph. Knuckles the Echidna, the guardian of the Master Emerald. Let's do this together, Eggman." Knuckles shakes his hands with Eggman.
As the promise is made, Eggman's new plan is slowly coming into fruition, meaning the power is his.
"So that giant ball on my island is your home?" Knuckles asked.
"Yes, but it's unfortunately destroyed. I would like to know about your culture, Knuckles." Eggman nervously chuckles while trying to avoid the truth.
"Then follow me." Knuckles marches out of the palace as Eggman follows.
The battle for Angel Island begins tomorrow as Eggman is preparing himself to take the Master Emerald before Sonic gets there.
