Ever Realm
Once upon a time, in the magical kingdom of Enchancia, there lived a young girl named Sofia. She lived with her mother Miranda who is a shoemaker. One day, they were summoned by King Roland the Second who is need of a new pair of shoes. It was a perfect fit, so did both Roland and Miranda who are fallen in love.
The two were married and Miranda became a new queen and Sofia became a princess and lives with her new royal stepsiblings Prince James and Princess Amber. One night, Roland gives Sofia a magical amulet which is called The Amulet of Avalor. Legend tells the Amulet of Avalor grants the user great powers wherever the deeds the person performs.
But that's not all, though the amulet has it's secret. The amulet has a princess name Elena who was trapped inside of her amulet before it was given to Sofia. Sofia sets out to the kingdom of Avalor to free Elena and free her kingdom from the evil sorceress Shuriki.
Most of all, Sofia had vanquished the evil being named Vor and saved her home. She then became a Protector of the Ever Realm.
The story may be a happy ending, but this is a new beginning. Now, Sofia's journey as both the Princess of Enchancia, Storykeeper of the Secret Library and the Protector of the Ever Realm began anew.
Inside of the Enchancian Castle, a fourteen year old Princess Sofia was reading her book on the sofa as her older twin stepsiblings, fifteen year old Prince James and fifteen year old Princess Amber are reading and looking at the books in the library.
It has been a few years since Sofia had defeated the evil powerful sorceress Vor and saved the kingdom of Enchancia. She is now a full Protector of the Ever Realm as she adjusted to her new job.
"What a lovely day of reading some interesting books in the library, isn't it guys?" Sofia asked.
"True, Sofia, that reading is a good learning, like I will learn of how to be a future queen of Enchancia." Amber said, reading the book about queens and kingdoms.
"I've always dream of becoming a future knight and thanks to Sir Finnegan's training, I've almost become a better one so I can defend our kingdom from evildoers." James said, reading a book about knights.
"I'm going to be a great adventurer like Aunt Tilly, so I can travel around the world." Sofia smiled, happily and thought of something. "Though, since I'm a Protector of the Ever Realm, I'm still training with Chrysta".
"Speaking of being a Protector, how's your training been doing?" James asked.
"I'm... still adjusting my new life as a Protector, though I'm still a trainee that I still have a lot of things to learn from." Sofia answered.
"So true, Sofia." Amber nodded.
"Sounds brilliant to me." James agreed. "Maybe someday, you can become Enchancia's greatest hero, fighting bad guys and save the world. Believe me, the people will cheered "Sofia! Sofia! You're so amazing!" You know?"
Amber nudges James on his arm. "James, please don't give her too much of your praising."
Sofia giggles softly while she's blushing of James's comments and smiled. "Thanks James, I'm sure it will meant a lot.
Then, a door to the library is opened as King Roland and Queen Miranda came in to see Sofia, James and Amber with a smile.
"Children, your mother and I have some news we like to share with you three." Roland announced.
"What's the news, Daddy?" Amber asked Roland.
"Mrs. Tweedle of the orphanage has sent us her envelope that she had one of the young girls who was a very good cleaner and she said that we can hire her to work in our castle with our staff." Roland explained.
"Brilliant!" James happily exclaimed.
"That sounds perfect!" Amber happily agreed.
"And also, the girl will work with our headmaid, Violet." Miranda smiled.
"That's great, Mom!" Sofia happily smiled, thinking of a new girl coming to the castle. "I can't wait to see a new girl in our castle." She thought to herself.
Roland check on his watch. "Baileywick will be returning with our new maid. Let's go meet them at our courtyard."
In the few moments later, the royal family are at the courtyard, waiting for Baileywick and a new maid. They then see a man driving his horse carriage to the courtyard as the carriage stopped. Out of the carriage came Baileywick, the castle steward.
"Ah Baileywick." Roland smiled.
"Your Majesties." Baileywick greeted as he bowed to the family.
"So, is the new girl here?" Miranda asked.
"Yes, Queen Miranda. She's here." Baileywick turned to the carriage with a smile." You can come out, Dorrie."
A girl named Dorrie walked out of the carriage and looked at the royal family with a smile. She was fourteen years old same age as Sofia's with long brown hair and silver eyes. She was dressed in her village outfit and wears her shoes.
"Your Majesties, allow me to introduce our new maid, Dorrie Starks." Baileywick said.
"Greetings, Your Majesties." Dorrie greeted as she curtsied. "My name is Dorrie Starks, your new maid."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Starks." Roland said. "I'm King Roland and this is my wife Queen Miranda and our children Prince James, Princess Amber and Princess Sofia."
"It gives me a great privilege to work and serve the royal family of Enchancia." Dorrie smiled.
Sofia walked to Dorrie as she smiled and waved. "Hi, it's so good to meet you, Dorrie."
"And to you as well, Princess Sofia." Dorrie said as she curtsied to the princess. "I've heard so much about you and your family."
"And we have heard that you're a very good worker at the orphanage." Miranda added in.
"I'm sure you'll be suited well to work at our castle, Dorrie." Roland said.
"It will be my honor to work in the castle, sir." Dorrie said with a smile.
"Perfect." Roland smiled as well. "Baileywick, would you escort Miss Starks to her new room and have her see Violet?"
"Of course, Your Majesty." Baileywick nodded before turning to Dorrie. "Right this way, Miss Starks."
"Coming, sir. It was nice meeting you all, Your Majesties." Dorrie curtsied before walking with Baileywick.
"You too, Dorrie." Sofia said as she sees Dorrie walking with Baileywick before turning to Miranda. "She's very nice, isn't she, Mom?"
"She's very nice indeed, Sofia." Miranda smiled at her daughter.
In the little while, Baileywick and Dorrie are walking through the halls of the castle where Violet, the head maid was standing there waiting.
"Miss Starks, this is our head maid Violet." Baileywick introduced Dorrie to Violet. "Violet, this is Miss Dorrie Starks, our new maid in the castle."
"It's nice to meet you, ma'am." Dorrie greeted, extended her hand to Violet.
"And to you as well, Dorrie." Violet smiled as she shook Dorrie's hand. "Please, just call me Violet."
"Okay... Violet." Dorrie smiled.
"Come along, then. Let's get you settled in your new room." Violet said as Dorrie follows her in the hallway.
A few minutes later, Dorrie and Violet arrived at the lower level of the castle as they stopped at the door. Violet motioned Dorrie to open the door. As Dorrie opened the door to her new room, she looks around while seeing the decent room that has a bedroom, dresser, closet and a bathroom.
"I think I'm going to like this room." Dorrie smiled while looking around her room.
"I'm glad you like it here." Violet said as she walked to the closet where she opens it and shows Dorrie her new maid uniforms and other outfits hanging in the closet. "Here are your maid uniforms for your work in the castle and other outfits for going on outdoors."
"Thank you, Violet." Dorrie thanked with a smile.
"You're are certainly welcome, dear." Violet smiled as she placed her hand on Dorrie's shoulder. "Now, if you put on your uniform, I'll get you acquainted with your duties around the castle."
"Yes, Violet." Dorrie said as she puts on her maid uniform. After that, Violet took her to the supply closet where they pick up some bed sheets and pillow cases. They then walked up to the upper floor where the royal bedrooms are and together, they changed the bed sheets and pillow cases in each room. Violet was impressed of Dorrie's skills in bed changing.
Minutes later, both Violet and Dorrie took the old bed sheets and pillow cases to the laundry, where the maids are starting to wash and dry the bed sheets and pillow cases. Then, Violet took her to the castle sitting room.
"Here is a castle sitting room, where I always make sure giving this room a good cleaning when needed." Violet said.
"Looks nice." Dorrie said as she and Violet started to cleaning up the sitting room. In the while, Roland and Miranda were walking by, noticing both Violet and Dorrie are working.
"Good afternoon, ladies." Roland greeted.
"Good afternoon, Your Majesties." Violet and Dorrie curtsied.
"I see that you work so well, Miss Starks." Miranda said, smiling.
"Yes, ma'am. Violet has shown me all around the castle and I'm grateful to have her teach me." Dorrie said.
"True. Dorrie is such a very good girl and I'm very grateful to have her in the castle." Violet added.
"That's what we like to hear. Carry on." Roland said as he and Miranda walked away.
"Did I greeted them well?" Dorrie asked Violet.
"You did very well, dear. Even I couldn't have done better myself." Violet smiled, placing her hand on Dorrie's shoulders. "Now, let's keep working." As they continuing to work, Roland and Miranda are still walking as they thought about Dorrie.
"Dorrie's such a well mannered girl, isn't she Rollie?" Miranda asked Roland with a smile.
"She sure is, Miranda." Roland chuckled. "Perhaps her and Sofia will become friends."
"I'm looking forward to it." Miranda said, smiling.
In the few moments, Violet and Dorrie were splitting up their duties. In that time, she found herself in Sofia's bedroom and starts doing some light cleaning up. After she finished cleaning up, she noticed a rabbit in the window seat, trying to open The rabbit was Clover.
"Hey, little guy." Dorrie said, smiling at Clover. "Need help getting that open?"
Clover shook his head in the "yes" sign. Dorrie picked up the shell nut, took out a small scraper in her pocket and used it to bang open the hard shell nut. She then handed the soft nut to Clover as he quickly ate the soft nut. Clover then smiled at Dorrie.
"Looks like you've made a new friend." A girl's voice said as Dorrie turns around, seeing Sofia, who is standing behind her as she smiles.
"Princess Sofia." Dorrie said as she curtsied.
Sofia then walked to Clover as she pats him on the head with a smile. "I see you met Clover, my pet rabbit." She then gently scratching Clover's head.
"He sure he's happy to have a good friend, like you Princess Sofia." Dorrie smiled.
"Please, you can call me Sofia." Sofia said.
"That wouldn't be proper, princess." Dorrie quietly said, pointed out.
"We commoners have to stick together, no matter what." Sofia said, smiling." Please call me Sofia."
"Okay then... Sofia." Dorrie said with a smile. "And is it all right you can call me Dorrie?"
"Of course, Dorrie." Sofia smiled. "So, do you like working in the castle?"
"Like it? I actually love working here!" Dorrie said, happily and chuckling. "I always dreamt of working in the castle when I was a little girl, back at the orphanage."
"And how was the orphanage?" Sofia asked.
"Its so good. I grew up there where I have worked very well with children." Dorrie explained. "Even Mrs. Tweedle was very impressed of my skills."
"That is so great." Sofia smiled. As then, Violet came into a room.
"Almost done cleaning up, Dorrie?" Violet asked.
"Just finishing it up." Dorrie said as she went back to her duties.
"I like her already." Sofia said to Violet. "She's nice."
"She is, milady." Violet smiled. "She fits in here perfectly."
In the few moments later, right after Dorrie finished cleaning up Sofia's bedroom, she and Violet are walking out of the room as Dorrie turned to Sofia.
"I'll be seeing you later, Dorrie." Sofia smiled as she waved her hand.
"You too, Sofia." Dorrie smiled and waved her hand before she and Violet walked through the hallway. "I hope you're not angry at me for talking to Sofia?" She nervously asked to Violet.
"Not at all, my dear." Violet smiled, shook her head. "Princess Sofia is a very nice girl and she already likes you. I believe the two of you are getting along each other so well."
Moments later, it was now nighttime and Dorrie had finished her dinner with her fellow servants. She was now in her room, where she gets her bed ready for her to sleep. In the few minutes, she heard a knock from the door.
"Come in." Dorrie said as the door opened and Violet walked inside.
"Getting all ready for bed, sweetie?" Violet asked with a smile.
"Yes, Violet. Just getting it ready for me to sleep." Dorrie smiled, placing her hand on her stomach. "The food is very good by the way."
"It sure is. isn't it?" Violet chuckled.
"You know... Sofia is a very kind princess and she considered me to call her by her first name." Dorrie said, feeling nervous about calling Sofia's name. "Though I was nervous of it."
" Don't be nervous about it, Dorrie." Violet reassured, placing her hand on Dorrie's hand. "I don't mind if you can call Princess Sofia by her first name and if the princess calls you by your first name, that's all right with me."
"You think so?" Dorrie asked.
"Oh, I believe so." Violet smiled.
In Sofia's bedroom, Sofia was on her bed as she and Clover were having a pleasant conversation. She was happy that she have met Dorrie. She then sits up as she walked to her window seat, opening her window while looking at the night sky.
"I like her, Sofia." Clover said. "She's a keeper, if you ask me."
"I like her too." Sofia smiled as she gently pats Clover's head "I'm looking forward to getting to know her better."
As Sofia was about to turn around, she felt a gentle breeze through her auburn brown hair. She turns around and she spotted a red dragon-black tiger badge on the window.
"Now where did that come from?" Sofia thought, picking up a badge as she takes a closer look at the badge. She then looked on both sides of her window and in few moments, she closed her window before heading to her bed.
Outside on the castle gate walls is a young woman with serene blue eyes and a long golden blonde hair. She was dressed in her warrior outfit, consisting of a red sleeveless top where she sported a same dragon-tiger tattoo on her right shoulder that was clearly visible. She also has her matching red pants with a golden belt that has a same symbol and a sheathed sword and a pouch, elbow gloves, knee boots, eye mask and a golden crown with a pink heart-shaped crest. That is Scarlett Katherine Felchenerow, also known as the Scarlet Warrior.
Scarlett looked at the window where she sees Sofia holding a badge before closing her window.
"Sleep well, my little Protector." Scarlett smiled before disappeared in the puff of red smoke.
