The next morning Addison walked into the kitchen. She was quiet. Although seeing Brook was a good distraction the night prior, she eventually had to leave and Addison was left to worry about encountering Morgan again and what was happening on myFace. Hidden DMs were gone. It was now an all on assault. She'd spent the entire night waking up, opening her phone, scrolling through all of the comments posted on the video of her panic attack. Hope had told everyone she was caught in a classroom with Morgan and freaked out again when he didn't want her. She felt sick. She felt violated all over again. She looked at her brother. He'd seen the video. She was dressed for school, but she couldn't do it. She couldn't face what was happening. Her mom was asking her something. She didn't hear her. Snap out of it, she told herself. Pay attention.

"Addison, sweetie, you ok?" Alexis asked, concerned her daughter was seemingly frozen in place.

"I don't feel well."

"What's the matter? Do you have a fever?" Alexis placed her hand on her daughter's forehead.

"No. It's more just like an ache all over. Can I stay home today?"

"Is it really that bad, peanut?"

"Yes." Addison replied weakly. She tried not to cry. It was too much.

"Ok, well maybe you're coming down with the flu. Go back upstairs to bed and I'll be up in a minute to check on you." Addison left the kitchen and Alexis turned to Owen, "You should get going so you're not late."

"I will. But Mom, you and Dad really need to figure out a way to get Addie to face what happened. You don't think she's actually sick, do you?"

"Did something happen at school I don't know about?"

"She had a panic attack in the library yesterday. It was bad. I think she skipped a class." That was all he was going to say. It was enough to force Addie to talk. At least he hoped.

"What?"

"Yeah, so please find a way to help her. It's hard to watch her struggle like this."

"I know it is. Thanks, Owen. Try and have a good day and we'll talk more when you get home?"

"Yeah. We can. Just help Addie. I'll see you later."

Alexis climbed the stairs. She had a message from Mrs. Ryan yesterday. This had to be why. She needed to find a time to call the school back this morning. She walked into Addison's room. She was already changed, in bed and curled in a ball. Maybe she was actually sick. It was hard to tell. "How do you feel peanut, honestly?" Alexis asked as she sat on the edge of the bed and Addison moved over.

"Awful. I told you it's like I ache all over and my stomach is in knots."

"Ok, I wish I could work from home today, but I'm in court all morning."

"It's ok. I'm just going to sleep."

"I'll call your dad, see if he can come check on you in a few hours ok? And I'll come home early in the afternoon, sweetheart."

"I'll be ok if he can't."

"Someone will come by to check on you. It's non-negotiable. Try and eat something this morning and get some rest, baby." Alexis kissed her daughter's forehead and left her alone to rest. She left for court. She called her daughter in sick to school and left a message for Mrs. Ryan to call her around lunch if possible. Then she called Ned, told him Addison was home sick, and asked him to check on her.. He worried it was his daughter's anxiety and Alexis agreed as she headed into court and silenced her phone for the morning.

That morning Owen stood at his locker in the hall with Will and a few other friends before homeroom. The video of his sister had been the talk of the morning and it was clear people were avoiding bringing it up around him. He didn't understand the need to constantly isolate her. The drama about a party that happened weeks ago was ridiculous. They all needed to move on. At this point he felt like it was the only way his sister would ever survive the rest of the year. He needed to do something to change the conversation.

"Owen, I'm your friend, but you know your sister isn't doing herself any favors." Will said as he close

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You didn't hear?"

"Hear what?"

"That video of her is because she trapped herself in a room with Morgan. She tried to throw herself at him again. She really should take the hint before someone else takes advantage."

"There's no way that's the truth. My sister isn't like that. You know that. No one knows what they're talking about."

"She called the cops, Owen. She wants the attention. And I know you've tried to defend her—"

"I called the cops, Will. I did."

"Owen, no one will believe that." Will said as Morgan walked down the hall with Hope, not a care in the world.

"Well it's the truth." Owen said as he made eye contact with Morgan and Hope. "Addison was the victim that night." He said loud enough for Hope and Morgan to hear. Morgan shouldn't be able to walk down the hall, carefree while his sister was at home panicked about even being there.

"Oh Owen, it's hard to hear your sister is a slut. But hey what can you do?" Hope laughed.

"Is Addison here today?" Morgan asked. He worried Hope went too far posting that video. She was his biggest defender, but she may have made things worse.

"Stay away from my sister!" Owen shoved Morgan up against the lockers. He couldn't stand by any longer.

"I was just trying to talk to her," Morgan stated, breaking free and shoving Owen in return.

"You don't need to talk to her. You've done enough damage as it is!"

'It's not like I–"

"Go ahead, say it! Say what you did to her!" Owen said as they continued to fight and teachers came running to separate the boys.

"That's enough! Let go of each other!" The adults yelled as they pulled them apart. Everyone stood in the hall shocked. They expected that from Morgan, but no one ever expected Owen to be the one to start a fight. "Go to the office. Now." Owen nodded and walked towards the main office with Morgan. He didn't say a word. He didn't want to make it worse.

Ned arrived to check on Addison. The house was quiet. He expected to find her reading on the sofa, but she wasn't. He climbed the stairs and knocked on her door. No answer. He quietly opened it and found her asleep. Maybe she was actually sick. He felt sorry for doubting her. He closed the door to her room and went downstairs. He sent Alexis a text. Told her she was sleeping, but he'd stay a little longer in case she woke up and needed anything. She was in court. He hoped she'd see it. He knew she worried. As he sat and waited his cell phone rang. The school's number flashed on the screen. "Ned Ashton," he answered.

"Mr. Ashton, this is Principal Brown. We need you to come pick up your son."

"Why? Is everything alright?"

"There was a physical altercation this morning. We can fill you in when you get here."

"I'll be right there." He hung up and climbed the stairs to check on his daughter one last time. He quietly opened the door, he didn't want to wake her, but he softly said her name "Addison, sweetheart?"

Addison rolled over in bed, just waking up, "Daddy?"

"Yeah, princess. How you feeling?"

"Eh. I don't know."

"I'm sorry. Your school called. I've got to go get your brother, but I'll be back ok? If you need anything in the meantime, call me."

"Ok, thanks, Daddy." She said as she pulled the covers tighter around her and closed her eyes again.

Ned left and drove to Madison. Owen being involved in a physical fight didn't add up. That wasn't who his son was. He entered the main office and saw him sitting there waiting. "Owen?" He looked at his son expectantly.

"Mr. Ashton, is your wife joining us? We tried her first, but couldn't get a hold of her."

"She's in court. So what happened?"

"Let's talk in my office. Owen, you should join us." Principal Brown said and Owen stood and walked into the office with his father. "Do you want to tell your father what happened or should I?" Owen sat there silently. "Ok, well Mr. Ashton, Owen started a fight with Morgan Corinthos this morning. Several witnesses state Owen threw the first punch. Is that accurate Owen?"

Ned looked at his son and waited. He was shocked at his refusal to speak.

"Owen, you aren't helping your situation. Tell us why this happened. You're not someone who gets into fights. In fact this is the first time you've landed in this office." Principal Brown stated.

"Tell them Owen. We're waiting." Ned stated.

"Just trust me. I had a good reason." Owen said to his dad.

"What was the reason, Owen?" Ned asked and waited.

"It's not my story to tell. Sorry, I can't."

"If there are mitigating circumstances here, we'd like to know. Otherwise it's an automatic 3 day suspension for physical aggression."

"Owen, just tell us what happened."

"I can't, Dad."

"I'm sorry to hear that, Owen. Mr. Ashton, you'll have to take him home. He can return on Monday."

"Let's go." Ned stood and Owen followed. "We'll talk more at home."

"Actually, Mr. Ashton, can you stay for a few minutes? We were hoping to talk to you about your daughter."

Ned looked at Owen. "Go wait in the car, buddy." Owen nodded and left. "What about Addison?"

"Some staff are concerned there has been a significant change in her demeanor. She's been withdrawn, not completing assignments. She skipped music class yesterday. I know Mrs. Ryan left a message for your wife. I think they were planning to talk this afternoon, but considering the altercation today…has anything changed at home we should know about?"

Ned sighed, "Addison had a difficult winter break, she experienced a significant trauma. But, I hesitate to share more without talking to her first. We've struggled with balancing what she wants and what we think she might need to move forward. My wife and I are also divorcing. Addison is taking it pretty hard."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"Alexis and I will talk to them. Please keep me updated if anything changes here with Owen. Positive or negative. And I'll let you know once we talk to Addie about how we can help her move forward."

"Those sound like good next steps. Owen is a good kid, whatever happened today there's an explanation."

"I'm glad we see this the same way. Is Corinthos being suspended for his participation?"

"I can't disclose what happens to other students, Mr. Ashton. You know that after the incident this fall. I'm sorry."

"Right. Ok, I'll be in touch." Ned said as he left the office. On his way out of the building he ran into Carly.

"Ned?" She asked confused and then she saw Owen sitting in the car. "Owen? Morgan fought Owen?"

"Carly." Ned said as he kept on walking to his car and drove his son home, while Carly walked into the building.

Carly met with the principal, her son wouldn't answer questions. When they got into the car she lost it. "Morgan what the hell were you thinking? You're out on bail. You're lucky to be here at all! Is it your meds? Do you feel like your meds aren't doing what they should?" She was suddenly concerned.

"No, my mood is fine. Owen started it."

"Why the hell would Owen Ashton start a fight with you? That makes absolutely no sense."

Morgan looked at his mother, the guilt had been eating him alive, "I did something."

"What? Morgan, what did you do?" She softened as she saw her son struggling.

"You promise you won't tell anyone? Not even, Dad…he'll lose it…It's bad, Mom…it's pretty awful…I just…I don't know what to do…"

"You can trust me, Morgan. What? What did you do?"

"The fight. It was about his sister…I did something to his sister…"

"Addison?"

"Yeah."

"Morgan, tell me. What did you do?" She flashed to the day he was arrested, the sight of Addison at home, exhausted, her parents on edge. "Morgan…?"

"I almost raped her, Mom. At that party…she said no and I didn't stop…" He admitted as he broke down.

"No… you wouldn't. You didn't."

"Joss."

"What about your sister? How is she involved in this?"

"She heard Addison screaming and stopped it. She stopped me."

"Oh my god."
