I want to thank Niagara14301 for his very wonderful review for the first chapter of my story "Ever Realm". He has favorited it on his profile and I am really grateful for it. Now here is the second chapter and let's get going!
In the small house at the Peppertree Forests, a young girl around sixteen years old, in her pajamas, woke up as she yawned before getting off of her bed before going to her bath.
The girl has light cream brown skin with light brown eyes and a long dark blue hair. She puts on her teal green long sleeved blouse with a long white apron dress over it and a black leggings, a red bow that ties near the end of her hair and her brown shoes. She puts on her azure blue hexagon shaped amulet over her neck. The girls' name is Alina Hansley.
Alina went into kitchen where she cooked and ate her breakfast, consisting of spam, eggs and toasts and drinks her cup of milk.. She then washed her dishes as she walked to the table where she looked at the small portrait of her as a child, smiling along with her mother with a same dark blue hair, braided and light brown eyes.
"I miss you too, mom." Alina said as she kissed her fingertip before placing her fingertip at her mother's face with a smile. "I always love you." She then grab her small basket, full of lunch and a reading book.
Alina then walked outside of her house as she locked the door with her keys before putting it in her pocket. She then breathes the air in and out as she smiled.
"Here I go." Alina said as she begins to walk.
Meanwhile, at the Enchancian Castle, Dorrie had quickly became a very good worker ever since she moved in to the castle. She and Violet became good friends since they developed a mentor/student relationship.
But that's not all, Dorrie had greeted the royal family as well and they were happy the family get to know her well. She's getting to know King Roland, Queen Miranda, Prince James and Princess Amber, even Baileywick. Dorrie also have met Chef Andre (Royal Chef) and his daughter Gwen (Inventor), even being introduced to Cedric the Great, the Royal Sorcerer of Enchancia.
But one of the most important part of it is Dorrie and Sofia became close friends. Sofia told Dorrie about her journey as a village girl to the princess and becoming a Protector of the Ever Realm.
Minutes later, Sofia took Dorrie to Dunwiddie Village, where she introduced Dorrie to her two best friends, fourteen year old Jade and Ruby.
"Sofia!" Both Jade and Ruby waved at Sofia.
"Jade, Ruby!" Sofia waved back as she hugged them as Dorrie smiled at the scene. "Jade, Ruby. I want you to meet Dorrie Starks. She's our new maid in our castle."
"Hello." Dorrie waved her hand. "It's nice to meet you two."
"Please, Dorrie. Any friend of Sofia's is the best friend of ours." Ruby said, smiling.
"So, what are you guys doing?" Sofia asked.
"We're just going to get us some snacks from the shop. Would you two like to come?" Jade asked.
"We love to." Sofia happily said before turning to Dorrie. "Dorrie?"
"Of course, Sofia." Dorrie said as the four went to the shop.
Few minutes later, Sofia, Dorrie, Jade and Ruby were eating their snacks at the village square as they having their conversations.
"So Dorrie, what's it like for you working in the castle?" Ruby asked Dorrie.
"It's great for me working in the castle." Dorrie answered. "I've get to meet a few people who worked there, including Sofia's family, Baileywick, Violet, even meeting Chef Andre and his daughter Gwen."
"Yeah, Gwen is such a great inventor." Jade said, eating her candy cane.
"And also I introduced Dorrie to Mr. Cedric." Sofia added.
"He told me stories of how he first met Sofia and became good friends." Dorrie added.
As they continue to have conversations, Sofia notices a young blue hair girl Alina was walking down the street as she waves at some of the villagers.
"Who's that?" Sofia pointed out. Dorrie, Jade and Ruby looked at Alina.
"I know her." Ruby said.
"You know her, Ruby?" Dorrie asked.
"We do." Jade added. "We mostly seen that girl around our village everyday. I heard from my mom saying that she loves to hangout all by herself in the village and loves reading books."
"And my mom also says she's so beautiful that everyone laid their eyes, but not to date with." Ruby said. "And most of all, they said the girl shows great kindness to everybody who waved their hand at her."
Alina turned to see Sofia, Dorrie, Jade and Ruby as she walked to the four to greet them.
"Hello there." Alina greeted the four. "I believe we haven't met. My name is Alina Hansley."
"Hi Alina." Sofia waved her hand and introduced herself. "I'm Sofia, Princess Sofia."
"Princess Sofia?" Alina gasps softly, hearing the princess's title. She then curtsied to Sofia. "Your Highness. It's such a great honor to meet you in person."
"Oh please, you can just call me Sofia." Sofia said, before introducing to Dorrie, Jade and Ruby. "And these are my friends Dorrie, Jade and Ruby."
"It's nice to meet you three." Alina smiled.
"Same here." Dorrie nodded.
"We just saw you walking around town." Ruby said to Alina.
"Where are you heading?" Jade asked.
"Oh, I'm just heading to the fountain where I always sit there and read one of my favorite books." Alina said, showing a book of histories and legends.
Sofia then noticed a blue hexagon shaped amulet around Alina's neck.
"That's a lovely amulet you had there." Sofia said.
"Oh... thank you, Sofia." Alina said as her cheek turns pink, blushing before caressing her amulet with her fingers. "It was a gift from my grandmother and to my mother before I was born." She then looked at Sofia's Amulet of Avalor around her neck as she smiled. "Even yours looks lovely too."
"Thanks." Sofia blushes, showing her amulet to Alina. "My Dad, King Roland gave it to me as a gift when I was a child, the day where my Mom, Miranda became a queen and me became a princess."
"That's wonderful!" Alina praised. "I've never met someone who has such a great gift, like you Sofia."
"Me too." Sofia added as her and Alina were giggling softly to each other. "Hey, is it all right we would love to go with you to the fountain?"
"Of course you can come! I would love to have company." Alina said before turning to Dorrie, Jade and Ruby. "You three are welcome to come too."
"Thank you, Alina." Dorrie smiled, standing up as Jade and Ruby followed. "That's a very generous of you."
"All right! Fountain, here we come!" Ruby said.
Sofia smiled as she have never met someone with such a gifted amulet, like Alina. She knows that this day gets even better and the start of making another new friend, like Alina.
Far away from the Peppertree Forests and the kingdom of Enchancia, lies a kingdom known as Cinnibar.
Cinnibar was one of the mightiest kingdoms in the entire Ever Realm. Cinnibar City is one of it's great city capitals. Inside of the Cinnibar Castle in the bedroom is Scarlett Katherine Felchenerow, also known as the legendary Scarlet Warrior. She was sitting on the mat on the floor, meditating.
As then, a knocking was heard from Scarlett's door.
"Enter." Scarlett said, her eyes still closed.
As the door is opened, a woman entered Scarlett's room. It was a woman with white skin and long black hair. She was seen wearing a tight black one-piece outfit with long high heeled boots that contains holstered pistols and a pair of reading glasses. The woman's name is Colette, Royal Steward of Cinnibar and Scarlett's trusted friend.
Scarlett opened her eyes and sees Colette with a smile. "Ah Colette, come in."
"Thank you, Scarlett." Colette smiled, entering the room. "I see you were meditating?"
"Yes." Scarlett said, sitting up as she pours her beverage into her cup before sitting on her bed. "And while I was meditiating, I just have a vision of Sofia and the other girl name Dorrie."
"Ah yes, the village girl who became the princess and the Protector who vanquished Vor." Colette smiled, sitting next to Scarlett. "But, what of Dorrie?"
"She's just moved in into the castle and starts working as a maid in Enchancia." Scarlett added. "But, I sense this girl has some great potential, waiting to be revealed. The two became very good friends."
"Young ladies, aren't they?" Colette said.
"Sofia and Dorrie are two fine young women. I can see them among the greats someday." Scarlett smiled.
"But something troubles you." Colette added.
"Not troubles me, but puzzles me." Scarlett said before continuing. "I've had a vision of a blonde version of Dorrie."
"Blonde?" Colette asked, raising her eyebrow.
"Yes, old friend." Scarlett nodded. "A sister, perhaps. But Dorrie is a single child."
"Interesting." Colette added, placing her fingers on her chin.
"I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually." Scarlett said before changing the subject. "So, what brings you here, Colette? Anything to report?"
"Yes, our agents have been reported that they saw Neila's witch followers have attacked some of the people at the village town from the west." Colette explained.
Scarlett sighed, pinching her nose in disgust. "Those damn followers who served Neila always have no decency to show no mercy on those poor souls."
"May be so, but one of our agents says that the witches were on the hunt." Colette added.
"The hunt?" Scarlett raised her eyebrow, seeing Colette nodded. "That's new. Neila's followers were never been on the hunt before. Who are they hunting?"
"We do not know what or who they're hunting for." Colette said. "But whatever it it they're looking for, they sought to find something, very powerful and can used it for their own gain."
"I feel the same way, old friend." Scarlett said before standing up. "I'm going to take a bath before I go to investigate."
"Of course, Scarlett." Colette nodded.
Sofia, Dorrie, Alina, Jade and Ruby were having quite a pleasant conversations. Sofia then tells Alina her story of the day she and her mom Miranda moved into the castle after Miranda marries to Roland and live there with her stepsiblings James and Amber. She then told Alina about how she got the Amulet of Avalor as a gift and it gives her magical powers and abilities throughout her days as a princess.
Sofia then told Alina of the time where she goes on a mission to free Princess Elena from her amulet and helped her reclaim Avalor from Shuriki and also defeated the powerful evil being Vor and became the Protector of the Ever Realm.
"That was the greatest story I've ever heard of, Sofia." Alina said, placing her hand on Sofia's shoulder. "And it's a good thing of you and your mother are now living in the castle."
"For a long time." Sofia smiled.
"That's very nice of you and your mom became a new family." Dorrie said with a smile.
"And what about you, Dorrie? What's your story?" Alina asked Dorrie.
"Me?" Dorrie pointed at herself.
"Yeah, tell us where do you live before you're took the job as a castle maid." Jade said.
"Well, I've always been living in the orphanage for my whole life when I was a young girl." Dorrie began. "Mrs. Tweedle was a very kind woman, who often took me in and raises me, along with the other orphans. They're been treated me with love and care, so does Mrs. Tweedle. In time, I became a exceptional worker, where I cleaned everything around, as well as taking care of the children in the orphange. Everyone and Mrs. Tweedle were admired on my job, and that's where Mrs. Tweedle contacted King Roland, who he and his family hired me to work in the castle."
"Wow! That was a greatest story I ever heard." Ruby smiled.
"I really love how Mrs. Tweedle and the orphans treated you well." Jade added with a smile.
"And what about your parents?" Alina asked.
"My parents?" Dorrie said, raising one eyebrow.
"Did you once have any of your parents before you were at the orphanage?" Alina asked, wanted to know.
Dorrie nodded. "Yes, I do have parents. Their names are Donald and Mary Starks. They were farmers who came from a village in southern Enchancia. They moved to Dunwiddie before I was born."
"What village did they came from?" Jade asked.
"The funny thing is they never told me." Dorrie answered. "It was always like it was some kind of deep, dark secret."
"And what happened to your parents?" Ruby asked.
Dorrie sighed sadly, looking down. "They... they died when our house caught fire one night." The girls, except Dorrie, gasped softly, after hearing her parent's tragic death.
Sofia placed her hand on Dorrie's back. "I'm really sorry to hear that, Dorrie."
"We all do." Ruby added.
"It's okay." Dorrie said, sadly. "It's better to talk about it, than to keep it buried inside."
Alina then holds both of Dorrie's hands, giving it a gentle squeeze as she smiled. "It's okay to tell the truth, Dorrie. Your parents would be very pround of you, starting a new life in the castle."
"Thanks, Alina." Dorrie smiled. "That really means much to me."
"You're welcome." Alina said as she hugged Dorrie with a smile. Dorrie smiled as she hugged Alina back.
"Aww. That's so sweet." Jade smiled. As then, the coachman arrived to the girls.
"Princess Sofia, Miss Dorrie, we must be returning to the castle. We have to get you to your family dinner and Miss Dorrie to her maid duties with Miss Violet." The coachman said.
"Okay, coachman. Thank you." Sofia said as the coachman bowed before heading to his carriage.
"Well, I guess Jade and I have to go our homes." Ruby said before turning to Alina. "It was very nice to meet you, Alina."
"Me too." Jade said.
"It was nice to meet you two." Alina smiled.
"And it's good to meet you, Dorrie." Jade said as she and Ruby hugged Dorrie. "Thank you for being Sofia's new friend."
"You're welcome." Dorrie smiled, returning her hug to both Jade and Ruby.
"Bye Sofia." Ruby said as she and Jade left.
"Bye Ruby, Jade." Sofia waved before turning to Dorrie. "Shall we go home, Dorrie?"
"Yes, Sofia." Dorrie nodded, walking with Sofia to the carriage.
"By the way, Alina, it was nice to meet you." Sofia said.
"Me too, Sofia and Dorrie." Alina smiled, walking up to the girls.
"So... can we see you again tomorrow? We can do something for fun?" Dorrie asked.
"Of course. And maybe we can go on the hike at the Peppertree Forests?" Alina said with a smile. "I always like to go hiking."
"Me too." Sofia said in excitement.
"I would love to go hiking." Dorrie added.
Sofia smiled as she leans forward, giving Alina her hug, which surprised her. "I'm so glad Dorrie and I met you, Alina."
"Me too, Sofia." Alina smiled, returning her hug as both girls pulled away.
"Coachman, we're ready to go." Sofia said to the coachman.
"Yes, my princess." The coachman nodded as Alina watched the carriage went back to the castle before turning around and walked back to her home.
Alina smiled, knowing that she get to meet both Sofia and Dorrie. That was a great first impression for her and the first of her memory to cheer for the rest of her life.
It was now nighttime as Scarlett (phoenix form) was soaring in the sky. She then spotted a ruined village a she landed on the ground before transforming back into her human form.
Scarlett looks around, seeing the houses and buildings were been destroyed and aslo sees poor people, including children that were killed by Neila and her followers on the ground. Scarlett did her sign of the cross gesture, giving the dead to rest in peace.
She then heard a rustling sound from the tree as a silhouette figure is on top of the branch as she chuckled a little.
"I know you're behind me, sweetie. You can come out." Scarlett called out as a figure leaps from the branch before landed on the ground.
The figure is a young girl, around ten years old, had white skin, dark shade hair that touches her upper back and her medium brown eyes. She was wearing her crimson short sleeved top, exposing her midriff, cream pants with a black belt, crimson fingerless gloves and her matching shoes. She also wears her magenta bandana with a dragon-tiger symbol over her head.
"Hey Scarlett." The girl waved her hand as she walked to Scarlett.
"Magenta." Scarlett smiled, shooking her head as she crossed her arms. "Does Colette know you're gone?"
"Yeah, she offers me her plate of chocolate chip cookies before I left." Magenta smiled as she pulls out a cookie from her pocket, taking her bite. "Delicious."
"Always excited for missions with me, huh?" Scarlett raised her eyebrow while placing her hands on her hips.
"Come on, you know you couldn't go on missions without me." Magenta said, gently nudged Scarlett on her arm before finishes her cookie. "So, what happened here?"
"My guess? Neila and her followers happened." Scarlett said as she and Magenta walked through the ruined town.
"Those killers. They're have a habit of murdering those poor people, even killing their own witches who refused to join her cause." Magenta added.
As they walked, they heard a soft groan as they spotted a woman leaning on the cart, coughing while placing her hand on her side and her wand is on the ground, next to her. Scarlett and Magenta rushd to the injured woman as they bend down on their knees.
"Are you all right, friend?" Scarlett asked, placing her hand on the woman's shoulder.
"Been... worse." The woman said, coughing.
"Tell us what happened here?" Magenta asked.
"Neila and her followers... were... attacking this... town... and the people. I tried... to protect them... but I... failed." The woman answered.
"Are you a witch?" Scarlett asked.
The woman nodded, weakly. "Yes, I'm one... of the good witches organization, the Good Witch Resistance."
"What's your name?" Magenta asked the dying witch.
"Sylvia... My name is Slyvia." Sylvia greeted before placing her hand on Scarlett's shoulder. "Listen to me, friend. Neila is... looking for... a ancient amulet... to receive it's great powers... to become... very dangerous. You must not... let it fall... into her... hands."
"What amulet is she after?" Scarlett asked, holding Sylvia's shoulders with her hands. "Please, Sylvia. Tell us what's the name of the amulet?"
"It's called... the..." Sylvia was about to say, only she then begins to choke. In seconds, Sylvia's then stopped breathing as she collapsed on the floor. Scarlett and Magenta realized Slyvia... is now dead.
Scarlett used her opened hand to closed Sylvia's eyes and she picked up Sylvia's wand and placed it on Sylvia's hand before closing her hand.
"What now, Scarlett?" Magenta asked Scarlett, standing up.
Scarlett stands up as she turns to Magenta with a serious look. "We'll move back to Cinnibar, til we figure out what amulet is Neila after." She then walked as Magenta followed her.
Meanwhile, at the Enchancian Castle, Sofia was laid on her bed in her room. She thought back of the day where she took Dorrie to the village, meeting both Jade and Ruby. She also thought of herself and others met the new girl Alina. Sofia saw Alina's blue amulet around her neck. She thought if Alina's amulet was magical than her Amulet of Avalor. That aside, Sofia yawns as she covers herself with her blanket as she went to sleep.
In Dorrie's room, Dorrie is already fast asleep, snoring softly with her blanket covered. When suddenly, a ghost of a woman appeared in Dorrie's room and stood there, looking at her. The ghost was Mary Starks, Dorrie's birth mother.
"One day, sweetie, you will know the truth." Mary thought to herself. "When that day comes, your father and I hope you will understand."
Meanwhile, at the Peppertree Forests at Alina's house, Alina is sound asleep, covered her half body with her blanket. As Alina slept, her amulet around her neck starts to glow blue as Alina's body was covered in blue aura of magical energy. In seconds, the aura dispersed as the amulet stopped glowing. Alina stirred as she turns to her left as she's asleep.

Author's Notes
Sofia, James, Amber, King Roland, Queen Miranda, Baileywick, Cedric, Violet, Chef Andre, Gwen, Jade and Ruby is from "Sofia the First" series.
Dorrie is the OC from Niagara's "Dorrie" franchise and used for my story with his permission. (Looked up to Niagara 14301's profile and stories "Dorrie", "Dorrie: Book Two", "Once upon a Time in Enchancia" and "Ever Realm Chronicles.")
The Scarlet Warrior and Colette are from Jake H Voronkov and Niagara14301 and used for this story with their permission.
Alina Hansley, Magenta and Sylvia are my OC's for the "Ever Realm" story.
For the character development of my OC's Magenta, Magenta is the ten year old girl, who is adopted by Scarlett when her parents died, due to Neila's attack. Her character is based on "Dragon Ball GT's" Pan.
My other OC's Alina is often based on Kaname Chidori from "Full Metal Panic", though it is her long, dark blue hair with her red bowtie on the bottom. Alina is a young, normal teenage girl who often visits Dunwiddie as everyone described her as "the most beautiful girl everyone laid their eyes on, but not to date with." She also has her amulet, passing down from her grandmother to her mother before her, but what she doesn't know her amulet is magical, just like Sofia's Amulet of Avalor.
I wanted to thank some of the supporters who is messaging me through PM, that they're very interesting of my work in progress of "Ever Realm". If some of you, fellow readers out there are very interesting of my story, how would like to help me work on this story and make it possible? If you have any OC's that either is an ally who is a noble or comical relief characters who are magical or non magical, it's fine by me.
Please write some of your reviews of this story and let me know. Took me a while to think of this chapter, but hey, it's worth a wait. Once again, let me know of your comments of this story and I'll be back next time on the next chapter of "Ever Realm"!
