Suddenly an alarm started blaring.
"Oh? Multiverse shenanigans are afoot? Let's take a look here…" Hades looked to see what was the commotion. "Ah! Seems like the Prime universe is going on a manhunt to face Twilight Chiaki! Good… it's kinda hard to tell stories that have the gamer girl in it because SOMEONE keeps killing them all! Wonder how she's doing now…"
Hades took a closer look. "Let's see… ooooh, what's this one? An artist Chiaki? And she lives? Oh, looks like Twilight's dead and all the Chiakis are coming back. Awesome! But this artist Chiaki intrigues me…"
He quickly looked around for her specific universe.
"Train conductor, airplane pilot, Pokemon Trainer, F1 Racer, hacker… aha! Here she is!"
Hades grinned. "Alright, let's see what her story is about! This should be fun, wouldn't you say?"
What If… Chiaki Was an Artist? (Pre-Twilight Chiaki Summoning)
"This should get creative!"
Chiaki was in her home, tapping her pen on her tablet as she wondered what to draw next. She looked around the room to see her various art pieces that she painted or drew. She let out a sigh, leaning her head back and closed her eyes, recalling the time she first started becoming the Ultimate Artist.
It was a springy afternoon when a young Chiaki was watching a movie when the Mona Lisa appeared on the screen. Her eyes became entranced by the art, her eyes sparkling in wonder. She immediately ran off, grabbed a pencil and some paper as she started to draw the exact image.
Predictably, it was horrible at first, but with practice, it slowly started to get better until it looked exactly like Mona Lisa. She then grabbed some markers and started coloring it. She then went to her school the next day and showed off her art project to her teacher, who was absolutely floored that she was able to recreate the Mona Lisa by pencil and marker.
After a few more art projects, and changing from markers to colored pencils, crayons, and even paint, she was then submitted into Hope's Peak where she was quickly known as the Ultimate Artist.
And in Chisa's class, Chiaki would tend to doodle various arts, including her favorite video game characters such as Mario, Link, Zelda, Samus, Bowser, Sora, etc. She also went out of her way to draw anime and Marvel characters as well, with the occasional Batman in case she got bored.
It got to the point that the Hope's Peak students actually paid her to draw something for her that caught her by surprise but went along with it and drew what they wanted, even if it was a bit weird.
And now here she was, graduated and her full time job was an artist who does commissions, but also draws fan art on her own free will. To say that her bank account was loaded is an understatement.
"Hmm… artist block. That figures." Chiaki said as she looked into her messages to see if anyone asked her to draw something for them.
One message caught her attention as she eagerly clicked on it, hoping she'd strike gold.
BGM: Creative Exercise (Mario Paint)
"Hi Nanami! I'm just curious to see if you would draw me a picture of Samus Aran showing off her feet."
Chiaki groaned, facepalming and shaking her head.
"That's the seventieth feet request this week." She mumbled, proceeding to open up an app and add it in.
Feet requests this week: 70
Feet requests this month: 1000
Feet requests this year: 10,000
"Congratulations! You've earned a "Why me?" ice cream sundae!"
Chiaki quickly responded back to the request.
"If you want feet so badly, just ask your mother or look at your own."
She then sent the snippy message and then sighed. "Of all kinks, why is it always the feet?" She shook her head as she looked through her messages.
Full nude art request? Even if she was willing to try out some hot NSFW art, she always felt dirty and needed a shower. She was not like that crazily horny Miu chick. Denied.
"...Inflated boobs again?" Chiaki raised an eyebrow and denied that one.
Another request of sexy Gardevoir and Lopunny art… hard pass!
"Hey, I was wondering if you could draw Princess Peach with glasses. They make her look sexy imo."
"Oooh, now that I can do."
Chiaki quickly responded back.
"Full body or just the torso?"
"How much do you charge?"
"Torso costs about 100 Yen. Full Body is 200 Yen."
"Only 200? What if you go the extra mile and put in juicy extra details?"
Chiaki's eyes sparkled at "details", she was always a sucker for those.
"Extra details will net you fifty extra."
"SOLD! I'll pay as soon as you're done!"
"Sounds good!"
Chiaki closed her eyes, picturing the exact pose in mind. To be honest, she was surprised they didn't request putting Peach in a bikini. She charges a bit more for swimsuit modeling… not that it bothered anyone given how creatively talented she was.
She proceeded to sketch out the pose and then sent a picture to the client.
"Like this?"
"Oh! That's better than what I was thinking of!"
Chiaki giggled and proceeded to draw the picture, humming along the way as she drew to her heart's content, and within ten to fifteen minutes, she finished her drawing, complete with added colors and details.
"It's finished~!"
"Whoa! That was fast! Guess the rumors are true. The Ultimate Artist is incredibly fast!"
"Hehe~ I lock in pretty hard~"
"Obviously! Alright, sending you the cash."
Chiaki's phone vibrated as she picked it up and saw that the transaction came through. "Perfect~" She smiled.
"Thank you!"
"You're welcome. See ya!"
Chiaki leaned against her chair, smiling. "Another satisfied customer." She said as she got up from her desk and walked into the kitchen, pulling out a jug of ice cream and proceeded to eat it as she sat back down.
"Oh, hey. A Pokemon Direct is about to start… wonder if we'll get more info on Legends ZA."
Several minutes of mobile fluff later…
Chiaki gasped, seeing the main protagonists of Legends ZA. She immediately laid eyes on the female protag.
"Must. Draw. Fanart!"
She quickly pulled out her tablet and proceeded to draw, thankful that she has a photographic memory and proceeded to draw while also watching the rest of the Presents. "Ooooh, AZ's looking good with his Floette~! …Oh, this must be in the present day. Cool!" She said as she continued drawing.
By the time she added in the details, and added in Taunie back to back with the female protag, the Pokemon Presents was finished. She then published her work and let out a happy hum, then a boatload of comments rolled in.
"Well, that was fast…"
"I'm not surprised someone like you would be so fast on the fanart."
"WTF?! THE DIRECT JUST ENDED FIVE SECONDS AGO."
"BRUH, ARE YOU KIDDING ME"
"Cute art! Which Pokemon Starter are you going for?"
"The artist queen strikes again!"
"How are you so fast?!"
Chiaki giggled, eating some ice cream. "Oh, I just love it~"
Once she finished her ice cream, she threw it away and went to her easel, pulling out her paint colors as she hummed, proceeding to paint away for several hours into the night until she finally got sleepy enough to call it a day and fell asleep on her bed after locking the doors.

"Zzzz…"
Outside in her backyard, the ground shook as a green Warp Pipe emerged from the ground as four Ninja Koopas launched out and landed on the ground.
"This the house, Red?" Black asked.
"That's the one." Red nodded as they rushed toward the door, only to find out that it's locked.
"Locked!" Yellow said.
"Not to worry!" Red smirked as he pulled out a pin and proceeded to lockpick the door, then they opened the door and snuck inside, until they found Chiaki sound asleep in her room.
"Zzzz…"
"Grab her!" Green whispered as they quickly grabbed the sleeping Ultimate and her tablet before they snuck back out, closing the door and hopped into the Warp Pipe.
Later…
"Zzzzz…"
A light shined brightly in her face.
"Zzzz… mmm… wha…? Ibuki… did you somehow sneak in again…? Five more minutes… Zzzz…"
She was suddenly slapped on the cheek.
"Whoa!" Chiaki snapped out of it and looked at her surroundings. "Uh… where am I? And what's with this lamp?"
"Welcome to our world… artist."
"Hmm?" Chiaki wondered as the lamp turned to face the Koopa Bros.
BGM: Koopa Bros Keep Cool (Paper Mario)
"Oh, nice cosplay."
"Cosplay? Bah! We're the real deal, chicka! Formation!"
"Red!"
"Green!"
"Yellow!"
"Black!"
"WE ARE THE KOOPA BROS!"
"Oooh, you're actually the Koopa Bros…? Prove it."
Red smirked, pulling out a Fire Flower.
"...Oh. That's a Fire Flower. Oooooh, you're actually the Koopa Bros? Well, I apologize in advance for what I'm about to do."
"What, you're gonna spit-"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Chiaki immediately went into fangirl mode.
BGM: Minicar (Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth)
"Gah!" Red flinched.
"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I'm in the Mushroom Kingdom! I get to meet THE famous Super Mario! I get to hang with Peach, I get to say hi to Luigi… oooh, I wonder if I can do art for them… that's be so-"
"ZIP IT!" Red put his hand over her mouth.

"Mmmph mmmph mmmph… mmmph."
"You good?"
Chiaki nodded.
"Good." Red removed his hand.
"Soooo… what'd you kidnap me for? Clearly this is some sort of interrogation, since I'm tied to this chair."
"Do you remember… THIS artwork?" Green asked, showing her some fanart that showed Mario standing proudly on top of the Koopa Bros with Bowser knocked out next to them, complete with a hammer and a cape.
"Ooooh, I remember that! It took me a while to get Bowser right… he was the trickiest to draw."
"Your so-called "fanart" was humiliating for the entire Koopa Troop. We kidnapped you for a very specific reason."
"That being?"
"Remake your art where Lord Bowser has his foot on Mario's back while the four of us pelt tomatoes at him!"
"And what if I don't?"
Red smirked. "We have ways to… "convince" you." He said as Black pulled a lever as the floor opened up beneath her to reveal Maw-Rays swimming underneath her.
"Ooooh, Maw-Rays~!"
"...Why isn't she screaming? She's supposed to be screaming. Why isn't she screaming?" Yellow wondered.
"Clearly it'll take more than Maw-Rays to convince her." Red then pushed a button as a cage lowered down with a threatening Thunder Cloud.
"Oh cool, the Thunder Cloud from Mario Kart Wii… glad that never came back."
Another button was pushed as a hairspray appeared next to her and a Fire Flower was tossed into the spray range, causing a makeshift flamethrower. "Oooh, creative~"
Suddenly, buzz saws lowered down, mere inches away from Chiaki's face.
"You didn't remove the price tag on this one."
"OH FOR THE LOVE OF…" Red groaned as the buzzsaws moved away. "Why aren't you scared to submission already?!"
"Buddy, throughout my artistic career, I've seen a lot of shit in my life. Nothing really fazes me anymore."
"Says the one who fangirled!" Black pointed out.
"Usually." Chiaki sheepishly chuckled. "...By the way, is the Scuttlebug part of your plan to get me to "behave"?"
"Huh?" Red wondered as a Scuttlebug was lowering itself downward. "Ah! Yes, fear the mighty Scuttlebug! It's powerful boxing gloves will give you a headache before it bites its jaws into your-"
Chiaki blew the Scuttlebug into Red.
"AIYEEEEEEE!!!!" Red yelped as the Scuttlebug began clobbering him. "GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF-"
He accidentally hit a button in his panic, causing the hatch underneath her to close as the other Koopa Bros tried to get the Scuttlebug off of him.
While they were distracted, Chiaki rocked her chair until she fell forward, the chair hitting the buzzsaws as it was cut in half as Chiaki harmlessly fell to the ground as she freed herself up. She then grabbed her tablet as she looked around and saw a spray can.
She quickly grabbed it and started shaking it right as the Koopa Bros pulled the Scuttlebug off of Red. "Hey boys!"
The four turned around, only to get spray painted in their faces.
"AAAACK!"
"Don't worry, it'll wash off your eyes. Maybe~" Chiaki giggled as she ran out the door, with some paintbrushes to boot.
At that moment, Kamek teleported in.
"Did you convince her?"
"Does it LOOK like we did?!" Red groaned.
Kamek sighed. "Never send four nincompoops out when it's the wizard's job." He mumbled and teleported away
Chiaki ran through the Mushroom Fields. "Okay… no idea where I am except I know I'm in the Mushroom Kingdom… the question is… where the heck is Toad Town? Gotta lay low for a while before I can find a way back home…"
Suddenly, Kamek appeared in front of her.
"Hold it, artist!"
"Oh, hi Kamek!" Chiaki casually greeted.
"You shall not go any further!" Kamek said. "I forbid you from moving another step toward me!"
Chiaki side eyed something and then smiled. "Okay~" She took off toward the right.
"Huh?! That's not what I meant, miss smart ass!" Kamek proceeded to fire magic to slow her down, but she kept up a good pace until she approached a ? Block as she threw a paintbrush at it, causing a Fire Flower to pop out as it landed in front of her, but Kamek fired magic at the ground beneath her, causing a tree branch to pop out and wrapped around her ankle.
"Ack!" She yelped as she looked down and reached for the Fire Flower. In fact, she used another another paintbrush to try and reach further. Kamek proceeded to fire magic at the Fire Flower, but a small crossbreeze managed to shift his magic slightly, managing to hit both the Fire Flower and Chiaki's paintbrush.
"Oh!" Chiaki yanked back.
"Mwehehehe! Nowhere to go!" Kamek said. "Now, you can come quietly or I will have to use force to-... what's going on there?"
Chiaki turned to the white light as a blob of colored paint levitated off the ground and moved directly toward Chiaki, absorbing into her. "Wah!" She yelped in surprise as she glowed for a second before turning to normal.
"Okay… not sure what happened there, but let's go."
Chiaki looked at her hand. "I wonder…" She aimed it directly at Kamek out of curiosity as suddenly, paint shot out of her hand and splattered all over Kamek.
"Ack! Plepth!"
"Paint powers…?" Chiaki wondered. "Oooooh, wait a second, I know what this is… I'm a Pictomancer! Huh, and I thought that was just a Final Fantasy thing."
"Pictomancy…? That's a rare power to-... uh oh."
Chiaki smirked, proceeding to conjure up some paint of her own, breaking free of her little prison and then manipulated the paint to wrap around Kamek. She then proceeded to summon a hammer and proceeded to swing it into him.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Kamek cried as he was launched high into the sky, a star shining bright in the darkness.
Ding!
"Okay, I can get used to this." Chiaki chuckled. "But first, I need to find Toad Town."
The next morning…
"Zzzzz…"
A Biddy Bud wandered around and spotted Chiaki. It curiously walked over to her and gave her a nudge.
"Bwah!" Chiaki yelped, sitting straight up as the Biddy Bud let out a yelp and ran away. "Wait… this isn't my room… oooooh! That's right, I was kidnapped and taken to the Mushroom Kingdom. …Hang on a sec."
She pinched herself.
"Ow! …Nope, not dreaming." Chiaki stood up. "Alright, let's see if I can't-"
BOOOOOOM!
Chiaki jumped in surprise as she looked up to see airships flying in.
BGM: Attack of the Airships (Super Mario Galaxy)
"Oh! Perfect timing…" Chiaki said as an idea came to her as she pulled out her phone and started recording live.
"Konichiwa, it's me! You guys won't believe where I am right now." She said, pointing the phone toward Bowser's airships flying directly toward Peach's Castle, then turned the phone back to herself. "Yeah, I'm in the Mushroom Kingdom, can you believe it?"
"Nice green screen!"
"Wow, the effects are so lifelike!"
"You do green screens now? Awesome!"
Chiaki sweatdropped. "I can assure you this isn't a green screen." She said as she walked towards Toad Town to see many Toads running around in circles. "Excuse me, hi! Can one of you confirm to the camera that this isn't a green screen?"
"WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE! IT'S BOWSER!"
Chiaki sighed. "Sorry about this…"
She picked up a Toad.
"Waaaah! I'm being picked up by a… a… whoa, a cute girl~!" A Blue Toad said.
Chiaki giggled and looked at the phone. "If this was green screen, would I actually be picking this lil' guy up?"
"HOLY SHIT, IT'S REAL?!"
"THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM IS REAL?!"
"Girl got herself isekai'd. I'm jealous!"
"Quick, someone find a Warp Pipe!"
"Wait, if the Mushroom Kingdom is real… uh… you might want to find a safe space. BOWSER IS INVADING, GIRLFRIEND!"
"Yeah, I probably should shelter in place…" Chiaki nodded as she saw the airships flying away as Mario ran past them.
"Oh, wait a second…" Chiaki put the Toad down. "Hold this for me, please."
"Uh… okay…" The Toad was handed her phone as Chiaki cracked her knuckles as she pulled out a paintbrush and proceeded to paint in mid-air, conjuring up Bullet Bills as they launched toward the Airships.
"Whoa! She's got Pictomancy!"
"ALL HAIL THE ARTIST QUEEN!"
Up on the airships…
"Sire! We're being attacked!" A Koopa exclaimed.
"He's ahead of schedule." Bowser chuckled.
"-By Bullet Bills!"
"...By WHAT NOW?" Bowser asked as Bullet Bills struck the airships, followed by a few dozen more.
And then a Banzai Bill.
"Mayday! Maydaaaay! We're going dooooown!" Bowser exclaimed as Peach held on to the mast for dear life.
At that moment, a bewildered Mario jumped into the scene with a Cape Feather and picked up Peach.
"What-a happened?"
"No idea!" Peach shrugged as Mario jumped off of the airship.
"Arrivederci!"
"WHAT JUST HAPPEEEEENEEEED!"

The airships slammed into the ground and exploded behind Mario as he landed back in Toad Town with Peach in his arms.
"Goodness, that was short lived…" Peach said.
"Oh wow, she's prettier in person…" Chiaki mumbled under her breath.
Peach and Mario turned to face Chiaki. "You're new…" Both of them said in unison.
BGM: Hello, Happy Kingdom! (Super Mario RPG 2023)
Chiaki stiffened, trying to contain her fangirling. "Um… h-hi… I'm Chiaki Nanami, the Ultimate Artist. And well, I have Pictomancy… I helped you out with saving-"
Peach gasped. "You're the Ultimate Artist?"
"Huh? You know me?"
Peach smiled. "Does a picture of me kissing Mario on the cheek sound familiar~?"
"...Ya have to be more specific."
"At a wedding with Bowser crying in the background and Junior being happy regardless?"
"Yeah, that'd be my ar-... wait, you saw that?"
"Everyone was talking about it~" Peach giggled.
"O-Oh… wow!" Chiaki said in surprise.
"So, how did you get here?" Mario asked.
"Oh, the Koopa Bros kidnapped me because of one art I've made with Mario clobbering Bowser and the Koopa Bros."
Mario chuckled, rubbing his chin fondly. "Hehe, I remember that one…"
"But I did escape, Kamek tried to subdue me but accidentally gave me Pictomancy powers and, well, here I am." Chiaki shrugged.
"Pictomancy? That's a rare power." Peach said. "But it does fit an artist like you~"
Chiaki blushed. "Y-Yeah, It does…"
"Do you happen to have an art studio by any chance?"
"Not really… I just do it all in my home, mostly my bedroom."
Peach and Mario looked at each other. "We can arrange something~"

"My word… this art is incredible…" Yusuke mused, looking at some digital art that Chiaki made.
"Holy wow! This sculpture you made of Kirby is amazing!" Futaba exclaimed.
"Kinda puts me to shame…" Adaleine said, looking at some clay that was modeled exactly like Bowser.
"Now that's a good looking painting." Nyx hummed, looking at Kirby sitting on top of a Goomba Tower eating strawberry shortcake.
Chiaki hummed as she continued to paint with a Moogle companion next to her that she had made with her Pictomancy.
"Kupo!"
"So let Ibuki get this straight… Mario-chan gave you his old art studio, refurbished it and this is basically your second home?"
"Yup."
Ibuki grinned. "That's awesome~!" She said, happily hugging her best friend. "Not only that, but you have a Warp Pipe to go back home if you feel like it!"
"Ooooh yeah~! Though now I'm just using that old home of mine for art storage these days…"
"Hey, whatever works~" Ibuki smiled.
Suddenly, the doors slammed opened.
"THERE YOU ARE!" Bowser roared.
"Oh, hey Bowser…" Chiaki said, proceeding to draw on her tablet.
"I have a bone to pick with you! Not only did you humiliate my men when I ordered them to kidnap you, you also humiliated my plans every time I invaded! Now I realize that kidnapping you seems impossible, but could you just keep your powers to yourself so I can-"
Chiaki showed off a picture of a well muscle toned Bowser.
"-Kidnap… kidnap… oh hello handsome!"
Chiaki printed the fanart as she handed it to Bowser.
"Where have you been all my life, you handsome rogue…" He said as he walked out with a chuckle.
"That'll keep him off my back for a while."
"How often does he do that?"
"Once a week. He was right on schedule." Chiaki giggled. "I draw something for him, he's enamored by it and forgets what he's doing and heads back to his castle."
"He's easily distracted, Kupo~!"
Ibuki giggled. "She can understand why~"
"Chiaki Nanami." A voice said as Meta Knight dropped down. "His Majesty has requested your audience."
"Oh? Okay then." Chiaki nodded, picking up her easel.
Later…
BGM: Walk in the Afternoon (Kirby Squeak Squad)
"Glad you could make it." Dedede said as he was sitting in the throne room.
"What do you need me for, your highness?"
"Simple." Dedede jumped off of his throne and towered over the Ultimate Artist. "I want you… to paint a picture of me! Seriously, you have so many art of Kirby and Meta Knight, yet I haven't seen a picture of me yet!"
"You have pictures of you all around the castle." Chiaki deadpanned.
"I know, but I want one from the Ultimate Artist herself!"
"Hmmm…"
"I'll pay ya royally."
Chiaki set up her easel. "Alright, how do you wanna do it?"
"Well, I was thinking of something like this." Dedede leaned on his side with his elbow resting on the ground.
Chiaki laughed. "Oh, i don't see why not~" She said as she began painting. "Hmhmhm~"
"Make sure you get mah good side. Nobody can seem to-"
Suddenly Chiaki blinked out of existence.
"-To… to… uuuuhhhh…" Dedede blinked, looking at the Moogle companion. "Did you make her disappear?"
"Wasn't me, kupo!"
Dedede blinked. "Well, where in tarnation did she disappear too?"
"Ah, so this is where Twilight Chiaki managed to snag her…" Hades mused.
Dedede whistled, calling upon every Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo. "Listen up, everyone! The Ultimate Artist's gone missin'! I want all of you to go on a manhunt to locate the woman and bring her back to-"
Suddenly, Chiaki reappeared with a burnt easel.
"Found her!" A Waddle Doo said.
"Chiaki! You came back! …What happened to your paintin'?!"
"Would you believe that a psychopathic version of me from another universe tried to kill me? I was gonna fight back, but another version of Bowser attacked her and he burnt up my easel. Then I watched that psychopath fight a Keyblade Wielder version of me… and almost killed her too."
Dedede blinked. "...Ya lost me after "psychopathic version of you"."
"Well, glad I have a spare in case something happened." Chiaki said, pulling out another easel.
"You seem to be rather calm over being teleported to… who knows where." Dedede said.
"Well, when you've seen a lot of shit online during your artistic career, nothing fazes me anymore."
Dedede sweatdropped. "I… suppose that makes sense?"
"Done!"
"Done? It's only been ten sec-"
Chiaki showed him the painting, which was him lying down on his side, complete with a fireplace and a bear rug that Dedede was lying on.
"-HOLY SMOKES, THAT'S BEAUTIFUL!"
Chiaki giggled. "I knew you'd like it~" She said as Dedede handed her two bags of cash.
"Here ya go!"
"Oh! Arigatou!" She smiled and walked off with a hum as Dedede put it up on the wall behind his throne.
Back at Chiaki's Art Studio…
"A little bit of this… and a little bit of that…" Chiaki hummed, adding color to her sketch of Twilight Chiaki clashing against the other.
"AI Art has nothing on this~" She smiled, publishing her art.
"Whoa!"
"You fighting your inner demons? Because imma root for you!"

Chiaki giggled. "If only they knew~"
Suddenly her phone buzzed as she saw it was a text from Hajime.
"You up for dinner tonight?"
"Sure. Shy Guy Buffet?"
"Yes."
"Cool! Meet you there!"
Chiaki got up and stretched. "Alright, time to close up shop early…" She said as she and her Moogle walked out of the studio, closing it up, locking it and put up a paint barrier before walking away with a hum.
"And I believe that'll do it for now. See you next time!"
I was surprised when Artist Chiaki became a fan favorite from within the Discord server, so I thought "Why not capitalize on that?"
