I flew after Aphid as fast as I could, out of reach of the dragon trap. "Thanks. If it weren't for you, I would be dragon trap food." I said as I reached her. Aphid said nothing, but as we landed on a sea stack, she threw her four wings around me. It took me by surprise, and we topled back onto the soft grass. Finally, Aphid rolled away from me, but we stayed laying on the ground. "I almost lost you, Aloe. I can't turn my back for a moment." I looked at her, and tried to remember the last time I had heard anger in her voice. "Butter Brain. You won't lose me. Even though I didn't grow up in the poison jungle doesn't mean I wasn't trained to survive it." I tried to sound reassuring but I was still shaken by the experience. "I don't care. I'm telling you what I just saw." I knew she wasn't going to give me the classic, 'never do that to me again,' speech.
