Chapter 107 Come to Court

The elemental nations group arrived at thw castle and stared at it. This was where the duke lives.
"It's big alright." Darui said.
"This is where the duke lives, but i'm sorry the pawn must stay outside." Mercedes said.
Kushina frowns and looks down.
"But that's not fair." Sakura said.
"Nothing much we can do. It's something the duke ordered." Neji frowns.
Tenchi patted Kushina's shoulder. "Don't worry we'll come back soon."
"Very well master." She will await for him at the entrance.
"How about we stay here for her too." Samui suggested.
"Okay, Darui, Samui, Kankuro watch over her." Tenchi said.
They nodded while the others went inside. The group walked down the hallways and a jester came out.
"Ah the travelers of the shadows have come, seeing the duke and all of his might."
"Don't insult Tenchi, he's our great leader." Mei narrows her eyes.
The jester bows before letting them in.
Many knights were inside talking to each other before they noticed the shinobi and kunoichis.
They talked among themselves seeing the group and they're stranhe clothing as they walked forward. Tenchi noticed another knight staring at them and he seemed important.
The duke, Edmun Dragonsbane sits on his throne and looks at the group.
"Well your certainly a very colorful group." He said.
"Thank you for this audience, we came from the nations and you might know why we came here."
"Was it because of the red moon, many have been affected by it before some sorcerers used they're magic to stop it from reaching to the others. It was fortunate that it was stopped after that. Most likely by your hand arisen." Edmun said.
Tenchi can see the infinity tsukuyomi reached out here too but only a few got caught by it since the land had people that could stop it from spreading too fast.
"We can make a alliance and help you for the rest of the land, we just ask to do a few quests and take care of the dragon. Since it would cause trouble for the rest of the people." Edmun said.
"That's fair duke." Tenchi said.
Yukikaze looks outside a window and sees a woman in royal clothing at a garden.
"Hey Tenchi." She whispers to him.
He got curious and looks at her.
She told him about the woman, so after talking with the duke the two went outside to meet her.
The woman turns around to see them and smiles. "Hello there, it's such a interesting sight to meet unique people."
"Yes, I am Tenchi and this is Yukikaze."
"I am Aelinore, I saw you talking to my husband the duke." She said.
"Oh your married to him." Yukikaze said.
"Yes, it was a arranged marriage, I was just a princess from another kingdom." She said.
Tenchi frowns since those kinds of marriages was not something he liked, as that means marrying someone they don't love over the people they want to be with, he can see she must be feeling something deep inside of her that trouble Aelinore.
"The land is now in danger." She looks up. "As many are worried about they're lives. I hope we can all avoid this."
"I'm sure we can Aelinore. Afterall we are here to save it." Tenchi said.
He still remembers that pain he felt that day when the dragon stole his heart.
"I know Arisen, like how my husband was." Aelinore said.
"Huh?" The two got surprised.
"Oh yes, the duke became one after he slain the dragon that stole his heart a long time ago. It seems to have caused him to never age."
Tenchi got confused, the last guy that told him about the history of the arisen he said they won't age if the dragon had they're hearts still, why would the duke still not age.
"So he didn't have any successors?" Yukikaze said.
"It seems strange, as there was other arisen with children but maybe he just didn't want them." Aelinore said.
Tenchi scratches his chin as this was very strange, the stories don't match up at all for the info he got. So who is lying in these two cases?
"Well Aelinore we will be making sure your people are safe." He said.
She smiles at his words.
Sakura watches from the side. "Okay, what is going on here? The stories don't match up between what we know about the arisen."
Did he destroy his heart, was it contained somewhere to allow him to never age. That would mean the duke has lived for many years and didn't need chakra control like that of her mentor Tsunade.
Sakura thinks the same thing Tenchi was thinking, they have to keep an eye out for the story of the arisen and what is the duke's true intentions,
She goes away to avoid being seen as she can't tell the others here without being found out by the knights. One word and the duke will chase them down if he really is shady.
Tenchi spent some time talking with Aelinore while Yukikaze joined them too.
Yukikaze looks up and wonders how strong the dragon is, but good thing she started to train with Tenchi to become stronger, as she's getting stronger than even Sasuke was in the past.
'I hope I can live up to his expectations.' She smiles.
Yukikaze didn't want to be a damsel that Tenchi needs to save like what happened in the past, so she will keep getting stronger by his side no matter what.
Tenchi looks at her and he can tell Yukikaze will surpass Sasuke as a lightning user as she will keep getting stronger, so he was curious to see how strong she will get later on.
But now the group has to work together to find the dragon that stole his heart.
Note: Heres the meeting with the duke and they also met Aelinore in the garden, also yes Yukikaze has been getting stronger that she can surpass Sasuke later on as Tenchi is a much stronger fighter than what Sasuke was at the five kage summit.
