Knock. Knock. Knock. Silence was heard after L and Light suspect something serious happened when she was alone. She avoids speaking to them throughout the day even looking their way. Kyra just went to her room locking the door refusing to answer or come out when it was time to eat. L stayed by her door quietly after Light went home knocking her door to let her know he was still there or even try to pester her to open the door for him. This has been going on for the whole day until L was left with no choice but use a card to open her door walking in. He observes the room seeing no disturbances but Kyra laying on her bed facing the wall just staring blankly. Walking over to her view having a seat looking at the wall as well not saying a thing until she became comfortable. "He wants to go after my father." Said Kyra. "Obvious reasons for the crimes he committed. How do you know that Kira was there?" Said L. "I dont know. The lights were shut so i cant see his face. He wants me to find a way to reveal my father his name and face even when i told him its impossible once he finds him." Said Kyra. "Did he make any threats?" Said L. "Just pinned me to the wall covering my mouth so i couldnt scream. Then threatened to kill everyone in my family but my father if I did. He has an attraction towards me when he sniffed my hair, kissed me roughly, and called me his Queen. I swear he is trying to get into my head." Said Kyra. She moved her head seeing L look at her humming in thought getting up to leave the room to talk to one of the agents. Its been an hours as L came back with Light and a blonde dressed in goth clothes which Kyra could care less. "Kyra?" Said Light walking over to her. He kneeled down to look at her emotionless face not saying anything and tried to grab her hands but she moved them away. "She's not ready to come back. Give her time. Its overwhelming on her case from what happened with Kira." Said L placing a bag of fast food on the nightstand before gesturing the three of them of leave.
He closed the door making sure it was locked leading them to his room where they can talk in private as Light looked very concerned as he was. "What is going on with Kyra?" said Light. "She explained to me her encounter with Kira at school." said L. "He was at our school! I knew I should have gone with her." said Light. "Why do care about her? Im sure she can handle herself just fine. Let me just have a nice long girl chat." said the girl getting up. "Misa. Kyra is my friend and needs to be alone until she's ready to talk." said Light getting her to sit down with him on the couch. He knew what he did was a bit much but with Kyras father going after is her too overwhelming. "Something on your mind Yagami?" Said L looking at him. "I was just thinking about what happened between Kira and Kyra. Maybe the encounter is way to bring out Kryas father out to if he found out about this. Kyra is pretty much losing her sanity by her behavior." Said Light. "I dont believe that would be possible. Kyras father isn't that idiotic to be out just for the encounter. He has to follow his victims carefully leaving signs that he's close to break down and get them. From all the cases that we found left over from his last there's no possibility of where and when he going to strike again. For im going to have some agents to monitor Kyra while we work on the two Kiras." Said L then hard Kyras phone going off. He listened along with Light by the door hearing Kyra talking and faint footsteps coming. "Kyra?" Said Light then looked don hearing something under the door. He looked down to see a slip of paper with something written on it before looking at L. "Get everyone to this location. We'll stay with Kyra." Said Light as L read the note. "Call me if anything happens. As for your girlfriend. She needs to leave as this is a very serious investigation regarding the serial killers." Said L looking at Misa. "Oh come on. I want to be with my Light. I can help." Said Misa looking at him while clinging to Light. "I need all of you to leave now!" Said Kyra from the other side of the door. She heard them walk away slowly opening th door watching the three down the hall and glanced down to th floor seeing five shadows instead of three. The two shadows didn't look human shut the door quickly yet quietly as they both suddenly stopped to turn around while the others kept going.
It's been an hour with the van pulled up to the bridge under the city's river where the note Kyra gave told to go. One of the agents got out to inspect the area while the others followed to search for anything. "I dont like this." Sajd Light looking at the live body cams of one of th agents. "As do I but if Kyra handed that note means something related to hr father. They both watched the monitors when one caught their attention to one where the men found a crate. Not taking their eyes off of it the agent brought it over to the police who took out a crowbar prying it open showing two bodies. "No." Said Light seeing the heavily battered body of Kate and Joey with their heads missing. "We seen enough. Let's check on Kyra." Said L switching one of eh cams to Kyras room to find it empty. "Where did she go?" Said Light. "Lets split up and find her." Said L getting up. Light turned Ryuk laughing behind him once they were alone. "Is there a reason for this?" Said Light. "She knows. If you catch up to her she's using the stairs." Said Ryuk. Light went to the fire escape looking down seeing Kyra was half way down to the third floor and went to the elevator. He hit the first floor and held the door open seeing Kyra just getting in ng out of h door. Kyra was then grabbed and dragged into the elevator with Light hitting the emergency stop button before letting her go. "Let me out." Said Kyra glaring at him. "Why would I do that?" Said Light. "I just want to spend alone time with my queen again." He says walking her up against the corner. "Im not your queen. You got that blonde. Now move!" Said Kyra shoving him back. She then got slammed back against the with his hands pinned to her arms with his getting dark. "Dont make me hurt you, my love. As for Misa. She is nothing but a puppet that I can get rid of whenever I want." Said Light. "What you gonna make me your puppet now that i know your secret?" Said Kyra. "Better. My girlfriend. I wanted to be with you. You belong to me and no one else." Said Light keeping her in place. "Besides sorry about what happened to your family. Looks like I have to keep a better eye on my future wife." He says seeing her holding back the tears. Light let go one her arms to hit the floor where L should be at meeting with him to the monitor room. He sat down on the chair with Kyra standing between them to look at th monitor a thing the police and medics moving her mother and uncles body out of the box transferring them into body bags. "Enough of that. You been through too much. For now you can stay with me if you want." Said L looking at Kyra. "Actually I have room at my house in the attic that we just found. My mom and my sister are mostly home. What do you think Kyra?" Said Light looking her way. "I'll think about it." Said Kyra walking away to her room.
