"Amazonas, you should check on the others."
Jacoba rolled her eyes as she continued to tighten the lug nuts on her 1967 Ford Mustang GT Fastback's tire. "Which others, Galgo?"
"The young ones."
She sighed as she finished tightening the last lug nut and turned towards the Spaniard. Leaning back slightly and crossing her arms, she raised her eyebrow at him. "Alright, I'll bite. What are they doing and where are they doing it?"
"The HUB."
Jacoba waited a moment before scoffing. "That only answers one of my questions, little man."
Galgo narrowed his eyes. "They're not helping."
"Fine, fine." Jacoba stood and started towards the HUB. "Did you at least finish the cleaning-slash-work list you were given?"
"Si."
Jacoba gave Galgo a thumbs-up before turning back towards the door of the HUB. Barney had decided (for some reason) that the newer members of the team (minus Doc, since he was, technically, on the team before) needed to deep clean the hanger. Ans, since they all seemed to listen to her the best, Jacoba was volunteered (read told) that she needed to supervise. So, she'd handed out the cleaning lists that Yin had come up with (apparently, he made them in the past) and went to work putting new tires on her car. Which had, apparently, been the wrong thing to do, since she heard Thorn talking as she opened the door.
"I'm bored."
The Amazon rolled her eyes before crossing her arms and starting to stare down the newbies. "You know, I shouldn't have to use my exasperated whiny voice to guilt all of you into actually doing your jobs."
It took quite a bit of her training to keep her face newutral as she watched Smilee, Luna, Mars, and Thorn all jump to standing and turn to face her. Luna gave her a sheepish look while the rest just looked at her with wide eyes. "How much trouble are we in?"
Jacoba rolled her eyes. "Not as much as you will be when Barn returns tomorrow. I'm going to give you all an hour and a half to complete each of your lists. Starting now." She watched as the four scampered away to do their chores, shaking her head at their antics. This was going to be an interesting rest of her day.
