Izuna stood patiently in the center of the training ground, his posture relaxed, waiting for one of them to make the first move. His expression remained calm, but there was an undercurrent of challenge in the way he stood — as though daring them to attack. Despite his lack of eyesight, his senses were razor sharp. The faint rustle of leaves, the soft shuffle of feet, the slightest shift in the air — Izuna could sense it all. His sensory abilities were now honed to perfection, far beyond anything most shinobi could comprehend.

Shisui glanced at Itachi, who remained still, watching their friend closely. With a slight movement of his hand, Shisui gestured for Itachi to stay back. "I'll take care of this," he said confidently, his voice low, already underestimating Izuna.

He moved towards Izuna at a moderate speed, not pushing himself too hard. Shisui, for all his talent, still saw Izuna as a weak man, someone who, though skilled, couldn't match the speed and strength of a younger shinobi in his prime. He closed the distance between them quickly, preparing to strike.

But just as Shisui was about to reach Izuna, everything changed.

With a blur of motion so fast it was almost imperceptible, Izuna leapt into the air. His body twisted with incredible agility, and before Shisui could react, Izuna's leg connected with him in a powerful kick. The force behind it was staggering — far beyond anything Shisui had anticipated. He felt the impact rattle his entire body as he was sent flying through the air, tumbling several meters away from where Izuna had stood.

Shisui hit the ground hard, rolling before finally coming to a stop. For a moment, everything was still.

Itachi's eyes widened, genuine shock written across his usually composed face. He had expected Izuna to be skilled, but the sheer casual display of power had been something neither of them had predicted.

Shisui groaned as he pushed himself back to his feet, dusting off his clothes with a smirk tugging at his lips. "That," he said, rubbing his side where the kick had landed, "was one hell of a kick, old man." He winced slightly but remained standing, his spirit undiminished.

Izuna didn't respond with words. Instead, he stood there, calm and collected, waiting for what Shisui would do next. There was no need for boasting — his actions had spoken clearly enough.

Shisui's smirk grew wider as he cracked his neck. "Alright, no holding back now." His tone shifted, and his expression became serious. Gone was the overconfidence, replaced by the fiery determination he was known for.

In a flash, Shisui disappeared from his spot, moving at his full speed now. His footfalls were so light that they barely registered, and his Sharingan flared to life, trying to predict Izuna's movements.

But Izuna stood still, unmoving, his senses picking up on every subtle change in the air. He could feel Shisui approaching, the faintest disturbance as the younger shinobi darted around him, trying to find an opening.

Shisui appeared behind him, aiming a strike at his back, but Izuna turned at the last second, effortlessly blocking the attack with his forearm. The clash echoed through the training yard as the force of the blow reverberated between them.

"Faster," Izuna said calmly, his voice almost a whisper. His words were a challenge, and Shisui gritted his teeth, pushing himself even harder.

They exchanged blows at a rapid pace, Shisui darting around in blurs of movement, his strikes quick and precise, while Izuna countered each attack with flawless technique, his movements smooth and deliberate. Despite the speed of the fight, Izuna remained a step ahead, reading Shisui's intentions as though he could see every strike before it came.

Itachi watched from a distance, his Sharingan analyzing every movement. He had never seen Shisui struggle this much against an opponent, and it was clear that Izuna was in complete control of the fight.

Shisui skidded back, panting slightly, his chest rising and falling with exertion. "Damn it," he muttered under his breath, wiping sweat from his forehead. "You're not even breaking a sweat."

Izuna smiled faintly. "If you keep holding back, Shisui, you'll never learn."

Shisui growled, determination blazing in his eyes. "I'm not done yet!" He charged again, faster and more aggressive this time, determined to land a hit.

Izuna's movements became even more fluid, almost like a dance, as he parried each strike with ease, using minimal effort to deflect the incoming blows. Shisui was fast, but Izuna's experience, precision, and heightened senses kept him untouchable.

As Shisui lunged forward with a kunai aimed at Izuna's side, Izuna sidestepped gracefully, grabbing Shisui's wrist and twisting him into a lock before tossing him to the ground with a thud. Shisui grunted as he hit the earth, his eyes wide with surprise.

"You're reckless," Izuna said softly, not letting go of Shisui's wrist. "You have potential, Shisui, but raw speed and power aren't everything. Control, precision, strategy — that's what you're lacking."

Shisui lay there for a moment, processing Izuna's words. Then, slowly, he nodded, acknowledging the truth. "I get it," he muttered, a hint of frustration in his voice. "I'll do better."

Izuna released him and stepped back, giving Shisui space to stand. "You will," he agreed, his voice calm but firm. "But not if you treat your opponent like an old man. Now, get up. We're not finished."

Shisui got back on his feet, this time with a more focused and determined look. He unsheathed his Tantō, the short blade gleaming in the light. His grip tightened around the hilt, and he readied himself for the next round. Meanwhile, Izuna remained still, holding his walking stick in his hand as if waiting for the right moment. But in a sudden shift, Izuna unsheathed a slender, well-crafted sword hidden within the walking stick, the sound of metal echoing through the training ground.

With one hand on the hilt, Izuna countered Shisui's first attack with almost casual ease. The younger Uchiha moved quickly, his blade flashing as he struck from different angles, trying to catch Izuna off guard. But no matter how fast or precise the strikes, Izuna's sword was always there to meet Shisui's, blocking and parrying each blow.

Shisui's frustration mounted. Each time he thought he'd found an opening, Izuna closed it instantly, his movements fluid and controlled, almost like a dance. Despite the constant onslaught, Izuna's face remained calm, a slight smile playing on his lips as if he wasn't even trying.

Then, Itachi joined the fray. His movements were swift and calculated, his own blade flashing as he attempted to catch Izuna off balance from the opposite direction. The two young Uchiha coordinated their strikes, attacking in perfect unison, one moving to distract while the other aimed for a critical blow.

But Izuna maintained complete control. His sword moved with such precision that it seemed to predict their strikes, deflecting them at the last moment, never allowing them to land a hit. Even with Itachi's calculated tactics and Shisui's raw speed, Izuna handled both with remarkable ease.

Itachi's Sharingan flared to life, attempting to read the older man's movements, but it was no use. Izuna's movements were too refined, too unpredictable. And when Itachi and Shisui tried to cast a Genjutsu on him, they quickly realized the futility of the effort — Izuna was blind, rendering their Sharingan illusions completely ineffective.

The fight continued, the sound of clashing metal echoing in the training ground. It was almost surreal how effortlessly Izuna moved between both combatants, wielding his sword with one hand as though it weighed nothing.

"You won't be able to rely on your Sharingan to beat me," Izuna said in a calm, almost teasing voice as he parried another strike from Shisui. "You need to think beyond your eyes."

Shisui gritted his teeth and redoubled his efforts, while Itachi remained focused, looking for any opportunity to break through Izuna's defenses.

But Izuna had other plans.

Suddenly, in the midst of their coordinated attack, Izuna's only hand began moving through a rapid series of one-handed seals. Before either of the Uchiha could react, lightning chakra erupted from Izuna, crackling with power as it exploded outwards in a brilliant flash of blue light.

The raw force of the technique sent waves of energy rippling through the air. It was a powerful Lightning Release technique, and both Itachi and Shisui immediately recognized the danger.

In a split second, they leaped backward, retreating to avoid being hit by the surge of lightning. They landed several meters away, panting lightly, their eyes still wide from the sudden display of power.

Izuna stood in the center of the clearing, his sword still in hand, the crackling energy slowly dissipating around him. His calm demeanor remained unchanged, as though the technique had taken no effort at all.

"You'll need to do better than that," Izuna said, his voice carrying a hint of amusement. "If you think you can take me down with brute force, you're mistaken."

Shisui wiped the sweat from his brow, his heart pounding in his chest. "He's… fast," Shisui muttered under his breath. "And that lightning technique… he didn't even need to use both hands for it."

Itachi remained silent, his eyes locked on Izuna, analyzing every detail. He knew this was no ordinary opponent. Despite their combined efforts, Izuna had barely exerted himself.

Itachi's eyes narrowed as he inhaled deeply, performing the hand signs with incredible speed before exhaling a massive Great Fireball Jutsu. The fiery orb roared toward Izuna, illuminating the clearing with its intensity. The heat was palpable, waves of fire cascading toward its target with destructive intent.

Izuna, however, remained calm. Without even lifting a hand, he tapped his foot lightly on the ground. In an instant, the earth beneath him shifted, responding to his chakra. A massive wall of solid earth erupted from the ground, forming an impenetrable barrier between him and the fireball. The flames crashed into the wall, sending sparks and embers flying, but the earth stood firm. Itachi's powerful jutsu had been rendered ineffective, and he had done it without even forming hand signs.

Itachi and Shisui's eyes widened. They had never seen anything like it—ninjutsu without hand signs. It was something only the most skilled shinobi could dream of achieving. But Izuna hadn't even broken a sweat.

"Impossible…" Shisui muttered under his breath. "He didn't even move his hands."

Before they could process what had just happened, Shisui moved swiftly, weaving signs for his own Phoenix Flower Jutsu. A series of small, fast-moving fireballs shot from his mouth, aiming to overwhelm Izuna with speed and numbers.

But Izuna was already prepared. With a single hand seal formed in front of his mouth, he unleashed Water Release: Water Ball Jutsu. Several high-speed spheres of water shot out, meeting Shisui's fireballs mid-air. The water collided with the flames, hissing violently as steam filled the air. The two jutsu canceled each other out in an impressive display of control and precision.

Shisui and Itachi exchanged a quick glance. Their earlier confidence had quickly evaporated. This was no ordinary sparring session, and Izuna was no ordinary opponent. Every move they made, he countered effortlessly, and he hadn't even started to fight back in earnest.

Shisui clenched his fists. "He's on a completely different level," he thought. His Sharingan flared to life again, trying to anticipate Izuna's next move, but there was something about Izuna's presence that was unnerving. It was as if he wasn't truly there, like a phantom—unpredictable, unreadable.

Itachi, too, felt the growing pressure. His mind raced as he processed what he had witnessed. A wall of earth with a footstep. Water release without more than a single hand sign. The sheer level of control and mastery over chakra was beyond anything they had encountered.

"We underestimated him," Itachi admitted aloud. "Defeating him won't be as easy as we thought."

Shisui nodded in agreement. "It's like he's barely even trying."

Izuna smiled, his face calm and relaxed, as if this was nothing more than a casual exercise. "I told you both," he said, his voice carrying across the training yard. "Power isn't about flashy techniques or relying on bloodlines. It's about mastery. Control. Precision. And if you want to be better, you'll need to push beyond your limits."

The weight of his words hung in the air as Shisui and Itachi took a moment to recover. They knew now that defeating Izuna would require everything they had—and even that might not be enough.

"You can come at me together," Izuna suggested, lowering his sword slightly but keeping his stance. "Show me what you've learned."

With a shared understanding, Itachi and Shisui nodded to each other. The real fight was about to begin. They knew now that holding back wasn't an option.
