Rocky's Dirty Little Secret

This is a good friend of mine work. (P.S. He is helping me with it as well. I want to get some of the credit as well his username is Marshall and Zuma Lover. .) He asked me to help him make it sound even better than what he wrote, so I assisted him in making it even better. Anyway, with that said, I hope you enjoy the story.

4. chapter 4

Ryder nods at the pups. Then he grabs his pup pad and activates the emergency beacon as the Adventure City HQ transforms into a gigantic robot suit with pods for all of the pups.

All the pups look at the gigantic robot in amazement.

Chase says, " Wow, that is so cool."

Rocky says, " This thing is so cool. I don't even feel bad that you did not let me help you make it, Ryder."

Ryder says, " I know, Rocky, this was something I have been doing over time."

Skye says, " Yes, it is cool, but Ryder, how could you afford that?"

Ryder giggles and then grabs a box from the robot's storage compartment.

Ryder says, " Officially licensed PAW Patrol merchandise. This stuff sells like hotcakes."

All the pups giggle as each one of them gets into their color-designated pod.

Rocky is the left leg.

Zuma is the right leg.

Marshall is the left arm.

Chase is the right arm.

Rubble is the weapons system (the middle)

Skye and Ryder share the head (the top)

Everest and Liberty say, " What do you want us to do, Ryder?"

Ryder says, " I want you two to go around the town and make sure everyone is safe."

Everest and Liberty say, " We can do that." As they both get into their vehicles and drive off.

Harold then starts moving his robot towards the PAW Patrol's with its arm swinging rapidly. Skye activates the deflector shield, blocking the strikes.

Chase wasted no time swinging the right arm with a lot of force. As Rubble clenches the right arm into a fist. Harold moves his robot right before it hits him.

Zuma says, " It is okay, Chase."

Marshall says, " I got this Chase." and hits Harold's robot. Which sends his robot backward right into Humdinger's towers.

Then Harold's robot gets back and starts to throw parts of the broken tower at the PAW Patrol's robot, but Rocky and Zuma manage to move the legs backward, avoiding the broken pieces of the tower.

You can hear Humdinger say, "From a distance, my tower."

Katie and Tracker just got to Adventure City. Katie is still driving.

Katie says, "Now I know why Rex sounded so familiar to me. He was a pup that I put food and water outside for a few days ago. I only know his name because he says you got this Rex, and not everything is a trap. I did not know Humdinger got him and is now holding him hostage."

Tracker says, " What? You know Rex? Why did you not tell Ryder, Katie?"

Katie says, " Tracker if I told Ryder every time I saw a stray animal, he would never sleep. Most of the time, I find the owner the next day. I know a lot of animal shelters."

Tracker says, " That is good to know Katie. I think I am good enough to drive now, and I do not want Ryder to get mad at me, for I do know if I am allowed to let others drive this vehicle or not."

Katie says, " Okay, Tracker." As she is getting out of the vehicle, she sees big pieces of concrete all over the place.

Tracker says, "As he is getting into the driver seat, I am guessing this was the crashing noise we had heard on the pup tag, Katie."

Katie says, " Now how are we going to find Ryder in this big city?"

Tracker says, " Wait, I can hear well it is not Ryder, but it is one of the other pups."

Katie says, " That is good enough for me. Let's go, Tracker."

So they make their way to where Tracker heard the pups.

Marshall says, " To himself, is Katie and Tracker over there? I thought they were in Adventure Bay."

Marshall says, " Ryder, Sir. I see Katie and Tracker down there. We need to get them out of the area at once. It's not safe here."

Ryder says, " Great spot, Marshall. I will jump out and see why Tracker disobeyed my orders. Pups, I need you guys to protect us at all costs."

They all nod their heads. Ryder grabs a parachute and is ejected from the robot's head to see what is going on.

Skye is watching Harold's robot. Skye says, "Zuma, kick the robot right now."

Zuma says, " Okay, Skye."

As PAW Patrol's robot's left leg, it kicks Harold's robot right in the chest. It flips Harold's robot on its back, and the aftershock exposes the meteor piece.

Skye says, " Marshall, can you get the meteor piece?"

Marshall says, " Yes, I can Skye."

Skye says, " Good."

So Marshall used the left arm to get the meteor piece. Powering down Harold's robot.

Marshall says, " Got ya. Hey Rubble, I could use power in my arm."

Rubble says, " No problem, Marshall."

So Rubble amps up Marshall's arm. thus shattering the meteor piece.

Ryder is almost to Katie and Tracker when he sees the meteor piece shatter.

Ryder says, " To himself, that was great and creative to handle that. It was also great teamwork as well."

Tracker says, "Hey, look, Katie, it is Ryder."

So, Tracker and Katie go up to Ryder.

Ryder says, "Tracker, why did you disobey my order?"

Tracker says, " Well, I uuummm."

Katie says, "Ryder, it was not him okay."

Ryder says, " What do mean Katie he is here when he should be in Adventure Bay."

Katie says, " I know Ryder, but I was the one that told him to do it, so if you want to get mad at go right ahead or let me explain why Ryder. You know me, Ryder, know I have a good reason for the things I do."

Ryder says, " Okay, I will hear you out, but there better be a good reason, Katie."

Katie says, " As you know, we both tried to call you on Tracker's pup tag. I thought we needed to be closer to you, so yes, I told Tracker to come with me so you could hear what he heard. Go on Tracker, tell him what you heard."

Tracker says, " First off, I am sorry about disobeying your Ryder, but after you did not answer my call on my pup tag. I did the one thing you told me to do. I went and saw Katie."

Ryder says, " To himself, well I did tell him to do that."

Ryder says, " If what you got to tell me is very important, then you are in the clear, but if it is not, then I will punish you."

Tracker says, " Okay, here is what I heard. I was on the outskirts of town. Then I heard, "You have outdone yourself this time, Mayor Humdinger. The PAW Patrol will never know I have a pup named Rex, and I am holding him hostage in a cave right outside of Adventure City."

Tracker says, " To himself, I hope that is important enough to not get me into trouble."

Ryder says, " To himself, so Humdinger had a plan B."

Ryder says, " Tracker, yes, that is important enough. I am not going to punish you."

Tracker says, " That is good. Now, what do you want me to do, Ryder?"

Ryder says, " Tracker, I want you to know this is not a punishment. I know it may sound like it, but it is not. I want you to go to the town square and wait for me there, Tracker."

Tracker says, " But I want help, Ryder."

Ryder says, " You did help in a big way, Tracker."

Tracker says, " I did Ryder?"

Ryder says, " Yes, you did. Now I want you to go to Town Square, not as an outcome for what you did, Tracker. I want you to be there so you do not get lost in this city. I know this is your first time here. I will put the town square into your GPS for you."

Tracker says, " I understand now, Ryder."

Katie says, " I will go with Tracker back to town square. Strength in numbers, right Ryder."

Katie says, " To herself, he is still a young pup. Ryder may not understand this. Tracker is a little bit different from the other pups he did not get a lot of attention when he was little, so he is still going to think he did something wrong."

Ryder says, " To himself, I have never seen a pup that young so eager to help. I can't make up something for him to help with, but I can at least give him company, and I know Katie will be safe as well."

Ryder says, " Yes, Katie strength in numbers is good, and thank you."

Katie says, " No problem, Ryder. Tracker and I are going to go to Town Square now. I want to talk to you when this is over Ryder."

Ryder says, " Okay, Katie. I will see you in a little bit."

Tracker says, " Katie, you got to Ryder about Rex."

Katie says, " Ryder, before I go, I got to tell you this. I do not know if it will make a difference or not, but hey."

Ryder says, " What is that, Katie?"

Katie says, " The pup you Tracker told you about Rex. I saw him a few days ago he was at the vet. Well, he was outside of it. I put food and water out for him. I only know his name because he was talking to himself, Ryder, so whichever pups you send tell them to be careful. I would send Marshall as one of them, him being an EMT and all."

Ryder says, " Thank you, Katie. I will do."

Katie says, " Okay, Ryder." As she and Tracker leave in his vehicle.

Ryder says, " To himself, I wonder what Katie wants to talk about. I mean, I do not think I did anything wrong to her. Well, I can't worry about that right now. I got to get a little team together, but she is right about Marshall."

So Ryder goes back into the robot's head and tells Skye, "Can you get all the others up here, please?"

Skye says, " I can Ryder, but what about the robot?"

Ryder says, " I will hit the autopilot, Skye."

So Ryder hits the autopilot button.

Skye says, "Okay, I will get them up here."

Skye says, " All pups to the top of the robot. Ryder hit the autopilot button, so it is safe to come up pups."

So, a minute or two later, all the pups went to Ryder.

Ryder says, " Good now that you guys are all here. I tell you what I find out."

Marshall says, " I am sorry, Ryder, but I got to ask if Katie and Tracker are okay. I mean, I am an EMT pup and all."

Ryder says, " I get it, Marshall. To answer your question, yes, they are okay, Marshall. They will be waiting for us at Town Square when we are done with the other robot."

Marshall says, " That is good to know."

Chase says, " Why did he disobey your orders, Ryder?"

Ryder says, " About that it was all a misunderstanding we are good on that Chase, but what I find out from him is not so good pups."

All the pups say, " What did you find out from him?"

Ryder says, " Tracker found out that Humdinger had a backup plan. Which is weird for him, but that is not the point here. He dognapped a pup. His name is Rex, and he is holding him hostage in a cave right outside of Adventure City."

All the pups say, "WHAT!!!"

Ryder says, " I know pups. That is why I am going to send Chase, Marshall, and Rocky to go get him/free him."

So Chase, Marshall, and Rocky say, " Okay, Ryder, where are we going?"

Ryder says, " Go to your vehicles, and I will meet you down there to put it in the location in guys GPS.

So Marshall, Chase, and Rocky go to their vehicles.

Ryder says, " Skye, can you look after stuff here? I will not be long."

Skye says, " Yes, I can, Ryder."

Ryder says, " Thank you, Skye." As he goes outside to meet the other three pups."

Ryder says, " Now pups, you got to be careful. I do not know what Humdinger did to him or if he set traps. That is, Marshall is going with you guys. he is an EMT, and also, if this Rex is hurt, he can help. "

Then Ryder goes over to their vehicles and puts the location into their GPS.

Ryder says, "There now the location is in your vehicles."

The pups say, " Thank you, Ryder."

Then Chase says, " What about the other robot."

Ryder says, " Do not worry, we take care of the robot. Now, don't dilly-dally get going. Oh, Marshall, I want to talk to you for a minute."

Marshall says, " Okay, Ryder."

Ryder says, " Katie told me that Rex is a stray, so he may be a little bit mean right when you free him, so please be careful of how you try and help him."

Marshall says, " Okay, I will do that, Ryder." As he takes off to catch up with the others.

Ryder watches as the trio takes off to where Rex is being held hostage.

Ryder calls Everest and Liberty.

Everest and Liberty, here.

Ryder says, " I was just checking in with you two."

Everest says, " It is all good on the West side of town." And Liberty says, " It is all good on the North side of town."

Ryder says, " Good. Could you two back to town square for me. Tracker is there, and I feel a little bit bad because there is nothing he can do to help here. I wanted him to have some company."

Everest and Liberty say, " We can do that, Ryder."

Then Everest says, " I thought Tracker was in Adventure Bay."

Ryder says, " Yes, he was. I will explain that later, Everest."

Everest says, " Okay, Ryder. We will make our to town square."

Ryder says, " Thank you." Then the phone goes dead.

Ryder goes back to the robot.

When he gets back inside the robot, he says, "Look, pups, I know we are three pups short, but we can still make this work to take out the other robot."

Zuma says, "Wydew how awe we going do that."

Ryder says, " Zuma, if I make it so you can control both legs, do you think you can do it? And Skye, I will need you to control both arms."

Zuma says, " Yes, Wydew I can do that." And Skye says, " Yes, I can do that, Ryder. If I fly a 747 plane, I can do this with no problem."

Ryder says, " I did not know you fly one of those Skye."

Skye says, " I learned how a lot of planes Ryder."

Ryder says, " That is good to know. Rubble, you will still be our Weapon system guy. "

Rubble says, " Okay, Ryder.

And I will be the eyes of this thing."

Oh, " Skye, I forgot to ask which arm you do you want to be in?

Skye says, " I will go with left arm, Ryder."

So Skye makes her way to the left arm and then says, " I am ready to go, Ryder."

Ryder says, " Okay, here go now. So he hits a button, " Zuma, you now have control over both legs." And Skye, you now have control over both arms."

Zuma says, " Okay, Wydew, I am weady fow this." And Skye says I ready hit a robot, Ryder.

Ryder laughs a little bit and then says, "Paw patrol is on a roll."

As they work on taking out the other robot. The other three should be almost there to the cave.

( A side note this next little part they are driving. I just want to put that out there)

Marshall says, " I hope this Rex pup is okay, Mayor Humdinger is going to pay for this!"

Chase says, "I hope so too, Marshall, and yes, he. It will be cool to have more pups on the team as well. Right, Rocky."

Rocky is thinking to himself. Look at all this cool stuff I can recycle. I could make something cool for my secret crush.

Rocky says, " Are you talking to me, Chase?"

Chase says, " I was Rocky, but it is okay because this is the location Ryder told us to go to. I hope we aren't too late!"

They pull up to the entrance, and all they see is a big rock side covered in old vines and moss. It is also in darkness, almost invisible to the naked eye. But they could all hear whining and complaining coming from inside the rock side.
