Elsa waited outside her parent's room, she was feeling nervous, but also a little excited. She was going to be a big sister. Ever since she found out she was going to have a brother or sister, Elsa had been completely excited. Well, ok to be honest she had been worried that when her sister was born her parents would not have enough time for her anymore. But her parents had gently explained to her that that was simply not true. Her parents would always have time for her, There may be times they were busy with the new baby because the baby needed some attention.
After that talk though, Elsa started to feel more comfortable about being a big sister.
Elsa sighed, she was starting to feel a little bored. Luckily at that moment, her fatherm the king stepped out and smiled.
"Let's go outside." he gently said.
"But, I want to be able to see my brother or sister as soon as..."
"The royal doctor will let us know when we can see the baby, right now we need to keep out of the way so that the doctor can help your mother."
Elsa smiled gently. "Ok papa." She said. Taking his hand he allowed him to lead her to the courtyard.
Elsa smiled as she looked around the courtyard,It was a beautiful, sunny summer day. Elsa started to pick beautiful white flowers. Her father smiled and looked up at the sky watching the clouds. The voice of the doctor broke his thoughts.
"You can go in and see them now."
Elsa ran over. "Is my sister here?" she asked. The king smiled,"Yes Elsa." your baby sister is here."
Elsa became overjoyed and was about to charge straight into the castle when he father took her hand. "Now Elsa remember we need to be quiet around the baby ok? loud noises may frighten the baby." Elsa nodded immediately calming down her father smiled patting her head and lead her inside.
Elsa followed her father along the long corridor and followed her father to the royal bedroom, where there lay the queen, who looked tired and was holding bundle in her arms. The king went to her and kissed her forehead.
"I'm alright dear." she said
The king didn't look convinced.
the queen chuckled. "Darling, you're more worried than when Elsa was born." The queen paused seeing Elsa and smiled. "Come my child, come and meet your new baby sister,Anna." Elsa softly gasped. A sister. She had a sister, just as she had secretly wished, perhaps wishing on the star all those nights ago did help. Elsa walked to the bed and her father carefully set her on the bed the queen carefully moved the edge of the blanket so Elsa could see her sister's face. The baby had her eyes closed and seemed to be asleep. Elsa whispered. "She's small, was I that small?"
The queen chuckled, "Of course my darling."
Suddenly, the baby cooked and opened her eyes sleepily, she sneezed and looked at Elsa.
Elsa smiled. "Hi there, I'm elsa, I'm your big sister."
Anna started and then gurgled reaching her arms up at her sister stealing excitedly.
The queen smiled and helped elsa to hold her sister. Elsa smiled, she already loved her sister so much. "We're going to be the best of friends Anna. I can't wait for all the winter fun we will have, we will have fun all year round."
Anna giggled happily and gurgled.
The queen and king smiled at each other happy to see Elsa already loved her sister and hopped that as time went by their bond would strengthen.
