The offices of Paramount...

"So you got a third Sonic movie for me?" asked the producer to the screenwriter.

"Yes sir; I do!" said the screenwriter with his script.

"Amazing! The Mario movie made by Illumination kind of stole our spot as the top video game movie so we really need to be bringing out A-game... I go the angels standing by; is the script written in gold ink?" asked the producer.

"Uh... Angels and I did... Why did you insist on it being written in gold ink?" asked the screenwriter.

"Jim Carrey said he was retiring and would only come back if he was handed in a script with gold ink by angels." the screenwriter then explained to the surprised screenwriter.

"Well... In this movie script to be handed in by literal angels... Shadow from the end of the last movie; wakes up in this base with bargain base SHIELD called GUN..." expained the screenwriter.

"We should get John Wick to play him!" said the producer as the screenwriter explained.

"But sir... Didnt Sonic referenced him in the first movie?" asked the screenwriter.

"Casting actors in sequels to movies where they were referenced is tight!" said the producer.

"Anyway; he wakes up Japan and GUN needs to bring in Team Sonic." explained the screenwriter.

"What are they doing?" asked the producer.

"They had a race which was actually a plot for a secret party for Sonic! He and Tom have a nice bonding moment about in the cave setting up something for later and the dog talks and it's in subtitles..." explained the screenwriter.

"What?" asked the producer surprised.

"Anyway GUN recruits them with Jessica Jones. They get sent to Japan and Shadow just trounces him. He kicks all their butts and just wants to be left alone. He is a brooding badass with a tragic backstory." said the screenwriter.

"Oh wow... We are really maturing with the movie series... Tackling the most popular story from the games in a dark story and without the Flossing dance this time..." said the producer surprised.

"Yeah... And the commander explains Shadow's dark backstory... In a Chao inspired restaurant which plays a Japanese version of Want You Back! There will be kids thinking Tails is Detective Pikachu." then said the screenwriter then said surprising as the producer then stared.

"...Well then..." he then replied.

"So drones are sent to kill them, the commander gets killed, gives a key to Team Sonic and the ysaved by Robotnik's henchman who takes them to see Robotnik who is hiding out and is all pathetic and fat." then said the screenwriter.

"So what do they do?" asked the producer.

"They are forced to team up and finds Shadow but he picks them off and Robotnik finds that Shadow is working for his own grandfather who has been in prison for 50 years." then said the screenwriter as the producer blinked.

"How did he survive all that time?" asked the producer.

"We could explain that in a deleted scene... Anyway; we get Jim Carrey to play him as well and have Robotnik spending most of the time with his grandfather as they team up." said the screenwriter as the producer stared.

"We get Jim Carrey to play two characters who spend most of the time talking to eachother? Who would find that entertaining?" scoffed the producer.

A minute of sience as the screenwriter and producer looks at the camera.

"Anyway Team Sonic goes back to Tom and Maddie who had their own subplot about what they were doing... Tom has this annoying Minecraft like puppet..." the screenwriter then said as the producer blinked.

"Gonna have to cut most of that; the audience didn't take too kindly to the romantic comedy we shoved into the last movie." the screenwriter then said as the screenwriter stared.

"Well then... Jessica Jones thinks that Team Sonic killed the commander and as it turned out there are keys to a secret weapon that Grandfather Robotnik designed for GUN in exchange for his freedom." the screenwriter then said as the producer blinked.

"GUN thought that having a weapon designed by the guy they kept in prison for 50 years was a good idea? Plus they gave him his freedom?" asked the producer.

"Anyway... It turns out that Shadow came to Earth in a meteor 50 years ago and GUN found him; grandfather Robotnik was in charge of the project. With his granddaughter Maria there who becomes friends..." said the screenwriter.

"You mean the ones that the Sonic fans are oddly excited to see shot to death?" asked the producer.

"Killing a child is tight!" said the screenwriter and the producer blinked. An awkward silence and then the screenwriter coughed. "Anyway... They become friends in a happy montage with a fun song that is meant to crush the souls of anyone who knows what is coming..." the screenwriter then said as the producer blinked once more.

"You really are a monster..." muttered the screenwriter.

"Though we don't see her gets shot... The commander when he was a soldier tried to stop the shooting but it shot containers of Shadow's power that caused an explosion and killed Maria." the screenwriter then said.

"So What happens now in this oddly half mature themed movie that's a sequel to a movie with chilli dog fart jokes?" asked the producer.

"Well they have to break into GUN HQ for the other key." the screenwriter then said.

"Why doesn't Sonic just use the Master Emerald to fix everything?" the producer asked and the screenwriter then smirked.

"Ah... Maddie asks that and they are like that it's too powerful to be used again... So they sneak in and gets caught with the Robotniks... But Knuckles helps free them but Shadow accidentally almost kills Tom." the screenwriter then said as the producer stares.

"Oh no..." the producer then said.

"The Robotniks gets a virtual reality day out as son and grandfather all funny stuff and the assistant guy gets sad." the screenwriter then said as the producer then stared.

"This script with gold ink to be handed in by angels has its tone all over the place... Huh?" the producer asked as the screenwriter then nodded.

"Oh yeah... Sonic gets serious and wants revenge and forces Knuckles to tell him where the Master Emerald is... He left it with Wade who is playing hockey with it." the screenwriter then said as the producer blinked.

"Why?" the producer asked.

"Because they starred together in that Paramount Plus show where Wade had the main story despite it being Knuckles in the title." the screenwriter explained.

"So does it get serious again?" asked the producer.

"Oh yeah... Sonic and Shadow fight it out with the power of the Master Emerald... Sonic is filled with revenge and as it turns out Grandpa Robotnik's super weapon is a space station with a laser that once fired will kill everything on Earth and kill them as well." the screenwriter then said as the producer blinked.

"Robotnik doesn't want to destroy the earth and fights his grandfather while making a joke about hate watching Green Lantern." the screenwriter then said.

"Felt proud writing that in the gold ink?" asked the producer as the screenwriter then nodded.

"Anyway Sonic and Shadow sort out their differences as Sonic remembers what Tom said; they talk about their losses and go Super together while Live and Learn from the games plays." the screenwriter then said.

"Using game music in a video game movie is tight!" said the producer.

"Anyway the fight the robot security and Robotnik kills his grandpa by shoving Sonic's quill up his behind." the screenwriter then said as the producer stared.

"Glad that we are treating this adaptation of the franchise's most beloved story very maturely..." said the producer.

"So Team Sonic gets home, Robotnik sacrifices himself to destroy the base, Shadow appears to do so and Robotnik his assistant how much he appreciates him." the screenwriter then said.

"That's nice." the producer then said.

"Tom recovers and what do you think?" asked the screenwriter.

"Sounds like a fun comedy and a nice maturish action movie rolled into one... So who else from the games can we introduce for the sequels?" asked the producer.

The screenwriter then replied "I think that we will find someone..."
