A few days later

Standing on top of the stairs to Garreg Mach, as the morning sun shone bright, Lysithea could see the road down below. A carriage was parked there with a few riding knights around it and a lone horse without its raider. Lysithea watched as Lady Rhea spoke to Shamir, the former archbishop smiled as she gently placed her hands on top of Shamir's before she said a few more words and then turned and climbed into the carriage with some help from a nearby knight.

Rhea was still recovering from her wounds, the process slow due to the extent of them as she took several hits from incoming Javelins to her body and miraculously survived the encounter at Shambala. She had already been weakened after her imprisonment by Edlegard in Enbarr so they were all impressed by her resilience. Now she had decided to leave all of her former responsibilities and live in solitude, far away from all that had been her life previously.

A change which had surprised many but been supported and encouraged by Byleth. His own complex feelings over Rhea and her actions played a part in that, which he himself had admitted to her and Shamir as they had discussed the topic.

As Rhea disappeared into the carriage, Lysithea saw Shamir had turned to Cathrine, the blond knight now speaking with Shamir as the two of them stood there a while, talking. Lysithea couldn't see what exactly they were talking about but clearly Cathrine was talking about something personal, the knight's close proximity to Shamir as well as how she was holding on to her, keeping her close told Lysithea enough.

Then Cathrine leaned forward and hugged Shamir who embraced her back. They stood like that for a while, until Shamir leaned back and nodded towards Catherine, saying a few more words before the two of them let go and Cathrine mounted her horse.

To the sound of Cathrine's whistle, the carriage and the riders started to move as Cathrine looked back at Shamir one last time before she went ahead of the carriage, leading the way.

As it moved down the path and away from Garreg Mach, she heard the other people who had been watching the former Archbishop leave as well. Several of her friends were there, the other professors, Seteth, Flayn and many monks and nuns, some who were crying as the others tried to comfort them.

But she didn't focus too much on what was happening around her, as much as her eyes were on Shamir, she was still standing down by the road as she looked towards where Cathrine and the carriage had left. Lysithea decided to go and check up on her.

"Shamir, are you all right?" Lysithea joined her as she placed a hand on her arm, seemingly taking Shamir out her thoughts as she looked at Lysithea and collected her thoughts.

"I'm fine Lysithea. I've just never really been good with goodbyes." Sadness seeped into her voice as Lysithea took hold of her hand and squeezed it.

"I don't think anyone is."

They stood there for a few seconds in silence before Lysithea couldn't help but say what she had observed from their interaction.

"I think she loved you, you know."

Shamir turned around and looked at her with surprise, but not one of hearing something for the first time, but rather surprise at her for realizing it.

"You've become quite proficient in your skills it seems." Shamir noted proudly.

"I have. Though to be fair I dont think Cathrine was as subtle with her feelings as she might think she was."

"No... that's never been her style to be honest." Shamir quickly agreed, giving Lysithea a small smile.

"May I ask a personal question, Shamir?"

"Sure."

"Did you ever feel anything for her, Shamir?" Lysithea couldn't help but ask, mostly for her own curiosity as she knew Shamir had spent a lot of time with Cathrine as well, especially before Lysithea came to the academy all those years ago. But her question had a more personal reason as well…

Shamir shook her head as she cast a quick glance towards the road before she focused back on Lysithea again. "No. But I might have, in another life. In the end, Catherine always loved Rhea a lot more than she ever would me so it wouldn't work anyway."

Lysithea couldn't help but feel a small amount of relief over hearing Shamir's answer, before she quickly put those feelings away.

While Lysithea had seen with her own eyes Cathrine and how she acted around Shamir, she had to admit she had little knowledge of the depth of her affection for Rhea. She knew she had a great deal of it, but it wasn't until now that she had seen it fully materialize in front of her, as she had decided to follow Rhea and spend the rest of her days protecting the former Archbishop.

"I'm sorry, It can't be easy to see a friend leave like that." Lysithea said as she saw a brief moment of sadness and pain cross her face, only to be replaced with a more neutral face afterwards.

"Yeah, It's tough but I'll get over it. At least she's not dead, so who knows what happens in the future? We might meet again one day." Shamir said as she looked towards Lysithea with a curious look "But how about you though, how are you feeling today Lysithea?"

"I'm much better thank you. I feel completely normal now. Or well... actually even better than that. I've never been so full of energy in my entire life. It feels a bit odd but I like it."

"I'm glad." Shamir said as she smiled at her, before a thought seemed to cross her mind as she continued "I think I'm going to take some time to get a few drinks tonight. Would you like to join me, Lysithea?"

Now it was Lysithea's time to look surprised, her drinking? She had barely taken a sip of alcohol in her life, never seeing what the point of it was.

"At the pub?" Lysithea asked, deciding that she needed more information before committing to it.

"No, I want some peace and quiet tonight, I've got a great spot just outside the walls. I'll take you there if you want."

While slightly nervous at the thought of drinking when she had barely any experience with it, she also knew Shamir was hardly the type of person to get her drunk under the table. Besides... This could work out in her favor since she wanted to talk to Shamir anyway.

"Sure, I'd love to."

Later that evening

"Here we are." Shamir said as she pointed to an elevated part of the green hill that overlooked the fields below. It was off the main road to Garreg Mach so there wouldn't be anyone coming by, unless they were really lost. As she looked around it was technically just a patch of grass with some flowers and nothing really besides that. But the view...

Stepping up to the elevated hill, Lysithea could see that the fading light was giving way for the coming darkness as Lysithea looked up. Later this would be a great place to gaze at the night sky once the sun had fully set.

"This seems like a really cozy place, have you been here before Shamir?" Lysithea asked as she helped Shamir unpack a few things they had brought with them, some food, drinks and of course a lantern for the inevitable darkness.

"A few times. Mostly when I needed to be alone." Shamir explained as she laid out a large blanket for them to sit upon.

"I can see why, no one would think to look here unless you knew about this specific place."

"That's part of why I like it so much." Shamir nodded as she started pouring up their drinks, the sound of the liquid splashing down into the cups.

"Come, take a seat." Shamir said as Lysithea sat down and took a hold of one of the cups. Looking down at the content, it was an orange color and it smelled... strong. But it had a sweet scent to it.

"So what's this anyway, Shamir?" Lysithea said, indicating her mug with the drink in it.

"It's called "Teutates courage". It's a Dagdan beverage used in some mercenary companies to instill courage to their warriors before battle. It was one of the first drinks I ever tasted and I quite enjoyed it. And before you ask; yes it has alcohol in it but it's a fairly mild one by Dagdan standards. I'd say it's about equal to a beer, just enough to give you the effect of the alcohol without penalizing your senses, unless you drink too much of course." She added the last part, seeing how Lysithea was sniffing and examining it closely.

"Dagdan? Wasn't it hard to get a hold of this?"

"As it happens I recently got in contact with an old colleague of mine, he had started a new mercenary company and they were here in Fódlan looking for work. I helped him to get started with a few contacts and he sent this…" She pointed to the bottle holding the beverage in question "and a few other things as thanks."

"That's neat. How did you find out about him?"

"When you're a mercenary company you usually want to spread around your name to attract attention to it so people find out about you. The name he had chosen was an homage to the company the two of us used to be a member of back in Dagda so I had a contact check up on them and found him running the show. A nice surprise." Shamir nodded as she took a sip of the beverage in question. A smile on her face as she tasted it.

"How long did you work together in your old company?" Lysithea asked as she saw Shamir think for a second before she answered "About five years or so, he took me under his wing and helped me out a lot when I started out."

"Sounds like a good friend..." Lysithea said quietly as she shifted to a more comfortable sitting position.

"He was also about 20 years older than me Lysithea, I don't do old men." Shamir said, raising an eyebrow as she cast a glance at her, surprising Lysithea who looked back at her in shock.

"But.. I didn't ask…" Lysithea stammered as she tried to protest but Shamir continued in her neutral tone.

"Not in so many words." There was a silence between them as Shamir then turned her head fully to look at her before she smiled as she started to chuckle, Lysithea finally realizing that her leg was being pulled.

"I'm sorry Lysithea, I couldn't stop myself. Your look of shock is just adorable."

As Lysithea was now fully flustered, she couldn't help but pout as Shamir started to laugh, trying to hold her beverage upright so it wouldn't spill.

Seeing Shamir laughing, even though it was at her expense this time, she couldn't help but feel her pout changing slightly, turning to a small smile as a warm feeling spread in her body as she saw Shamir stop herself as she was close to tears.

"I'm sorry Lysithea. It's been a while since I could laugh so wholeheartedly."

Straightening out her back and sitting upright, Lysithea leaned her head slightly to the left as she tried to change her tone to imitate more of an elderly, uptight person.

"Well, considering what we've been through lately I guess I'll forgive you." Maintaining her position for a few seconds, the two of them then burst out laughing at Lysithea's impression.

"That…" Shamir began between laughs "... didn't work." Lysithea finished as the two of them looked at each other as their laughter slowly died down.

"Well thankfully I'm not planning to become an actress…" Lysithea noted as Shamir quickly filled in "... Or me for that matter, could you imagine?"

As she tried to picture the scene of Shamir on stage, acting in front of a whole lot of people, all images that came back ended in a not so flattering manner.

Trying to not laugh at the picture of Shamir acting, she chuckled as she shook her and raised her mug.

"To us, not acting in the future."

Shamir smiled as she raised her own mug and clicked it with Lysithea's. "I'll drink to that"

Lysithea took a sip, tasting the sweet drink as it felt fresh on her tongue, the taste of apple was very noticeable. "Oh, this tastes really good."

"I'm glad." Shamir simply replied as they then enjoyed the drink in a peaceful silence, enjoying each other's company as the night slowly settled in, blanketing everything around them in darkness. Lighting their lantern, the warm glow spread over them as Lysithea could hear Shamir refill her mug and as she moved her own over to be filled again, Shamir chuckled a bit.

"Someone is enjoying her drink." Shamir said, amused.

"This is just so good, I never imagined drinking could taste this good." Lysithea exclaimed as she took another swig of the liquid, the sweet taste of apple mixed with the alcohol warmed her as she drank it.

"Indeed. If there's something I've learned in life it's that; good food and good drink can turn any bad day around. As long as I don't have to make it myself." Shamir then added "Just be careful with the amount you drink, Lysithea. It can quickly go to your head if you're not careful."

Lysithea had been on the way to take another sip as she realized that she had been taking on a fair amount already, a warm feeling already spreading in her body.

"You're right about that." She answered as she chuckled at almost falling immediately to the temptation of the alcohol.

"In the meantime, eat some food. I've found that it helps make it easier to handle the alcohol."

"Thanks."

Taking a few bites of the bread and cheese that Shamir had brought with them, she chewed on it for a bit before she began talking again.

"You know Shamir, on occasions I've imagined how it would be to open a bakery, somewhere far off in the outskirts of Fódlan. Being part of a local community, a part of people's everyday life. To be able to serve people from all kinds of places and be able to make my own delicious sweets every day." Lysithea was almost lost in her own thoughts as she remembered those times she had entertained the idea, before her mind had cancelled those thoughts and reminded her that she had been carrying around her own death sentence in her body. But not anymore, she smiled at the thought.

"I think that sounds like a wonderful idea, Lysithea." Shamir agreed, her voice filled with honest appreciation for her idea. "I'd definitely be your first guest."

Lysithea was beaming as she heard that "Doesn't it? I wouldn't have anyone else but you as my first guest." As they smiled at one another, the warmth and friendliness that Lysithea had always felt in Shamir's presence was there, making her feel at peace, safe and home.

"Oh, by the way. I heard you were in negotiations with the church about a future job, how's that gone?"

Shamir glanced at her as she raised an eyebrow before she answered "You mean will I stay?"

Swallowing a bit as she laughed awkwardly, Lysithea should have realized there was no beating around the bush with her. "Guess I should have seen that one coming."

"You're too expressive to be able to do that." Shamir explained quickly as she took a bite of the bread herself.

"Thanks." Lysithea said with a bit of sarcasm in her tone.

Shamir in the meantime looked back at her as she shook her head "I mean that as a good thing. I like that about you, it suits you better to be honest."

"Oh" Lysithea felt herself blushing at the compliment from Shamir.

"As for your question, I've been offered to stay on as mercenary for the church, a fair enough proposition and I'd dare say a better position then the one I have currently since I would actually be paid this time."

Lysithea looked at her in shock "Wait... You haven't been paid?!"

Shamir's only response was to lean back and close her eyes as she seemed to be enjoying the night before she asked "Have you?"

"No.. but I thought..."

"That I was here as a mercenary? Fair enough assumption. No, I did this because I believed in Byleth, fought for him and my friends and allies of my own volition. The church hasn't been paying me personally anything due to the war we've been through. I didn't want their money anyway. Besides..." Shamir then added as she smirked "The bad guys have been contributing to my balance anyway."

"Are you going to accept the church's proposition?"

Shamir shook her head "No, I'm not really interested in fighting anymore. You know my background, I've spent my whole whole life fighting almost every day of my life and I'd like to do something else with it. Maybe even settle down roots for the first time. Fódlan has become much more of a home than I'd expected."

Lysithea couldn't help but smile as she heard this, Shamir's words giving her hope.

"So, what about you Lysithea? Do you have plans for the future? Maybe the bakery you mentioned before?"

"Oh no, that was mostly just some childhood dream I had when I was smaller, I don't think that will ever happen." Lysithea smiled sadly at Shamir before she continued "As for the future... I don't know Shamir. I've not really thought that deeply about it yet but... I want to help make a change, improve things for everyone here, you know. There's so much I think we could do better in Fódlan then how it has been done before."

"Well, you'll be in a good position to do that soon. And I think you'll do an excellent job at it." Shamir said as she looked at Lysithea, giving her an honest smile which made her blush.

"Thank you Shamir, I appreciate the vote of confidence." Lysithea replied as she bit her lip before she took a deep breath and then exhaled. Letting a calming sensation settle over her as she gathered her courage to ask what she had planned to bring up to Shamir these last few days. Deciding that a direct approach was probably the best so she just dived right in.

"Shamir, I want you to stay. With us." There, the words had been said, no way to take them back now as Lysithea felt an equal amount of nervousness and relief over finally saying it. Glancing back at Shamir, she found her with a mixed look of surprise and... was that affection?

As Shamir raised an eyebrow, she simply said "I trust you realize what you just said."

Lysithea nodded "I know very well what I meant. It's been on my mind for a while now to be honest." Taking a deep breath and then exhaling again before she continued "I've realized that my happiness is not complete unless you're in my life Shamir. And it's not like you don't love Byleth yourself, don't you? You just haven't said anything because of our relationship, right?"

This time Lysithea could see full on surprise written all over Shamir's face before she chuckled "Guess I tripped myself by giving you those observation lessons."

Lysithea smiled at the comment from Shamir, they had been very useful on occasions. Though in this case it wasn't the entire truth.

"They've been useful, though you're not as subtle with your feelings as you'd think. Especially when the two of you are together."

"Really?"

"Really."

Shamir was quiet for a moment before she nodded "I see, well you're right about the part with Byleth. So what exactly do you mean with your declaration, if we're putting all our cards on the table."

"Well, as I said I don't want to lose you from my life so..."

Shamir quickly raised her hand to stop her.

"Lysithea, let me make one thing clear. I don't want or need a consolation prize. I'm a grown woman, I can deal with not getting everything I want in life." Shamir gave her a pointed look, making sure she understood her message to which Lysithea nodded, raising her hands.

"Sorry. That was a bad way of phrasing it. I've no doubt you would be able to deal with that. I just..." Lysithea was quiet for a moment as she thought about how to explain her feelings.

"During all the time we've spent together, I've realized that when you're happy - it makes me that as well. And I've seen how you make Byleth happy just as much as I do." Lysithea felt her feelings flow from her as she continued talking.

"While my crests are gone and I hopefully have my full life back in my own hands, I've learned a valuable lesson from that experience; To see the importance of not wasting my time and just do what gives me joy in life. And as I said, I know that when we are all together, we do just that. So why shouldn't we embrace that fact? At the very least give it a shot?"

Now that she had opened the gates, the words were flowing out and so she continued after taking another breath.

"Now granted, I can see there could potentially be a few issues and practical problems over time but if I've learned anything in life, and from spending time with you, it's the importance of a direct and open dialogue along with being honest with each other. I want to embrace that with you just as I have with Byleth already. Besides, no relationship in the world is ever trouble free so there are no guarantees in life anyway."

As Lysithea stopped, letting her words hang in the air, her nervousness over the results from the coming few minutes made her grab hold of her own hands so she wouldn't move about with them as she awaited whatever Shamir would reply.

"You've really thought this through Lysithea."

"I have, or at least I'd like to think so. As I said I don't know anything about that kind of thing, and don't know how it will go. But I know in my heart that I want to give it a try because I believe we can do it."

"Have you spoken to Byleth about this, what did he say?" Lysithea noted that Shamir was avoiding giving her own thoughts on the matter as she instead asked her questions, but she tried to keep her nervousness in control as she kept answering.

"I've spoken to him about my thoughts and feelings for you. He has no objections, since he loves you just as much as I do, if you haven't noticed it. He just wants us to be happy and if you're willing then he's ready to try as well."

"I see..." Shamir was contemplating as she was quiet for a while. Lysithea gave her the time she needed to think it over. Instead she spent her time listening to her pounding heart, her body feeling tense as she sat there waiting for Shamir's response.

After a short while, she saw Shamir reach out with her hand to intertwine their fingers as the touch of her fingers sent an electric shock through her body. All of her emotions made her sensitive far beyond normal as their touch was currently being amplified as she waited with bated breath for Shamir's response. Shamir looked at her as she started to talk.

"It makes me happy to hear you say that Lysithea, for the longest time now Byleth has been the center in my heart but you've managed to make yourself at home there as well."

Lysithea felt her breath get caught in her throat as she listened to Shamir... could it be...?

"To be honest when I heard that you and Byleth had become a couple I felt a sting of both jealousy and sadness..." Lysithea felt Shamir squeeze her hand as she continued "... but most of all I was happy for the both of you. I, and everyone else, could see how happy you both were which made me glad. Which is why I decided to support you as best as I could going forward."

Seeing and hearing the range of emotions from Shamir as she spoke had her own eyes watering as she shifted closer to Shamir and embraced her, wanting to comfort her for all the pain she had caused her.

"I'm so sorry Shamir, I have to admit that I suspected you might have had feelings for him but when I confessed... It was kind of a spur of the moment. And then you were the one who had to carry on like nothing... will you forgive me?"

Feeling tears roll down her face, Lysithea could only imagine how that must have felt for Shamir, to see them together like that and yet she just kept supporting them as if nothing had even happened. She felt awful, and she was supposed to be her friend…

Feeling Shamir's hand in her hair, gently caressing the back of her head as she continued speaking "It's alright Lysithea, there's nothing to forgive considering your situation earlier. I understood and as I said, I was happy for the both of you. Seeing you so happy showed me how important you were to me as well and that's when I realized how I felt for the both of you."

"Thank you Shamir." Lysithea whispered before she felt herself being released by Shamir as she looked at Lysithea with her straight face.

"If we're to do this though, then I need us to take it seriously, we have to make a choice now. If we go forward, I want us to be honest with each other and to talk openly. As you said earlier, the most important thing for us all will be an honest dialogue, no matter how uncomfortable the topics may be. Can you promise me that?" Shamir's eyes were gazing straight into hers, she felt the piercing look she was giving her but it wasn't one out of malice or to scare her. Lysithea knew it was just her way of showing how important this was to her. Luckily it was just as important for Lysithea so she held her gaze as she answered honestly and without reservation.

"I can. I want this to work between all three of us. So I'll be straight and honest about everything. I won't hold back on my end. I want this to work for us all, I promise."

"Then I'll promise the same to you, Lysithea." Shamir said with an affirmative nod as she then pulled Lysithea towards her as they hugged. "Thank you for telling me Lysithea."

"Thank you for being patient and supportive Shamir, to both me and Byleth. You're the best friend anyone could have ever asked for."

The two of them stayed in the embrace for a few moments as they both enjoyed being close, the comfort from it immense. They did this for a while until Lysithea pulled back a bit to look at Shamir.

Biting her lip, Lysithea felt her heart thumping in her chest as a lingering desire made its way to the front of her mind as she looked at Shamir who leaned her head slightly, sending her an unspoken question.

Claiming the courage that hadn't failed her yet, she fixed her eyes on Shamir as they held each other's hands.

"Shamir, how would you feel if we... well… kissed each other?"

Shifting closer to her, Shamir looked at her as Lysithea swallowed, her pounding heart beating faster at the closer proximity.

"I'd like that." Shamir whispered as her voice was now so tender that the mere sound of it made Lysithea's heart flutter. Shamir's eyes were so inviting as they looked deep into Lysithea's. Shamir slowly raised her free hand, pausing for a moment before gently cupping Lysithea's face. The warmth of Shamir's fingers on her skin was both delicate yet deliberate, sending a cascade of tingles down Lysithea's spine.

Lysithea felt as if a whirlwind of emotions was currently active inside her, mixing all of them around as she had no control of what she currently felt. Her breath hitched at the delicate touch as Lysithea struggled to maintain her composure while Shamir asked her quietly "Do you want me to take the lead?"

Lysithea's mind was racing as she tried to formulate a coherent response through all the sensations that were going through her, their close proximity making it hard for her to concentrate.

Trying to make sense of all the emotions inside she was currently experiencing, Lysithea had trouble formulating her response, taking longer than what one would expect of the question. So much that Shamir even smiled a little and squeezed her hand that was still clinging to Shamir's.

"Please" Lysithea said finally, her voice quiet as Shamir nodded before she whispered "Just follow my lead."

Then she closed her eyes, Lysithea quickly followed just before she felt Shamir close the distance between them, the warmth of Shamir's body and scent of her filling her nostrils as her body reacted to their shared touch.

Lysithea's breath hitched as Shamir's lips finally touched her own in a tender, exploratory kiss, their lips connecting in a slow entanglement that sent electric waves coursing through Lysithea. Shamir was so gentle with her kiss, the mere slight pressure she was applying was almost a tease for Lysithea as she felt herself yearning to experience more of her. Shamir's lips were so soft and inviting. Her breath was warm as it caressed Lysithea's skin as she felt her body tingle from the experience.

Slowly, as she was enjoying their first kiss together, Lysithea lifted her hand to Shamir's head as she placed her fingers on her neck, her fingertips slowly gliding through her hair at the base of Shamir's head. Shamir's hair was silky smooth, Lysithea's fingers enjoyed the feel of the hair as it flowed between her fingers.

Shamir meanwhile was gently stroking Lysithea's cheeks, her fingers tracing her skin as it lit a fire beneath them, making Lysithea crave her touch even further as they kept kissing. Shamir was, as far as she knew, such a good kisser. Lysithea was amazed at how wonderful and right it felt.

Before long Lysithea felt Shamir wanting to deepen the kiss, her tongue teasing Lysithea's lips as she asked for permission to enter which Lysithea was more than happy to give. As she felt Shamir's tongue enter, it quickly began to gently explore her mouth. Lysithea responded by letting her tongue entwine with hers.

Meanwhile one of Shamir's hands went around Lysithea's waist and pulled her body towards Shamir, trying to get as close as possible to each other. As their bodies met and Lysithea felt her chest being pushed up against Shamir, she couldn't help but enjoy how soft and wonderful Shamir's body felt against her own as they continued their exploration of each other. Shamir was still holding back for her benefit but even so she felt like a dam had been broken inside of her, with emotions flowing freely as their kiss went on, Lysithea moaning softly in response.

As the two of them enjoyed the sensations they felt, they let their bodies and minds fuse together as their emotions flowed freely into the kiss that had become a lot more passionate than either expected.

But after what felt like an eternity, the need for air soon became critical as both reluctantly separated from each other. Lysithea opened her eyes and was met by Shamir's as the other woman was breathing heavily, just as Lysithea was, as she tried to catch her breath.

Both smiled at the other, the affection and happiness Lysithea saw in Shamir's face was so clear to her in that moment, she couldn't help but feel her eyes begin to water as her emotions continued to pour out of her.

"That was… amazing. I love you Shamir."

Shamir smiled and chuckled as she used her fingers to wipe away Lysithea's tears from her eyes. "I know, and I love you too." Shamir said as she embraced her again, pulling her as close as she could. The warmth and comfort from having Shamir in her arms had her relax, the outpouring of her emotions were finally starting to settle as she just enjoyed the embrace they shared.

"Thank you, for doing that Shamir. I really enjoyed it." Lysithea said after a while, as she had relaxed sufficiently enough to draw back from Shamir and, at least temporarily, let go of her.

"I did too Lysithea." Shamir nodded her agreement as Lysithea saw the drinks they had taken with them as she had an idea.

"Well, I think this calls for another toast." Lysithea said as she smiled and held up her mug which was still filled.

"To our future - and our happiness." Lysithea said as Shamir raised her own mug.

"To our future!"

And as the two mugs met, Lysithea could feel how light her heart felt, the happiness she was currently experiencing filling her body to the brim. She could see that Shamir looked just as happy as they went on to enjoy themselves a while longer before they headed back.
