"Wha… what?" asked a stunned Hailey while looking at Scott who continued to look out at the ocean without turning to face her.
"I love you, Hailey, always have," said Scott with a smile.
"But you dated…," said Hailey before being cut off by Scott.
"That's because I wanted to distance myself and not ruin our friendship if you didn't return my feelings, I was scared of that," said Scott.
"Turns out hiding your feelings can hurt more than just yourself though, I never would have thought that something like that would hurt you if you did feel the same way," he said.
"You… you're not just saying this, are you?" asked Hailey.
"Hailey," said Scott, putting a hand on her cheek and wiping away a tear that had been rolling down it.
"Does this answer that?" he asked before kissing her.
"Whoa," said the two after separating.
"About time," said Becker.
"So, you could tell that they liked each other but not that I could like you?" asked Kennedy as she looked at Becker with a raised eyebrow.
"Everyone is blind to their own love," said Becker who was blushing slightly while facing her girlfriend.
"You're lucky that you're cute," said Kennedy before kissing her.
"So, what do we do now?" asked Sanjay as the other two joined back up with them.
"Because I doubt all of this will blow over," he said while turning to face the city which was still wrecked from all of the robots attacking it earlier.
"That's for another time," said Hailey. Meanwhile, in the destroyed future.
"I should never have created that robot," said Chaos who was sitting in a dark room, a cover wrapped around her as she sat on a bed that was just thrown on the ground.
"No, you shouldn't have," said the Professor while opening a door and letting light fill the room.
"Ho… how did you find me?" asked a surprised Chaos as she used her arm to shield her eyes.
"We used to be the same person, of course I would know where you are," said the Professor while sitting down next to Chaos.
"And I think it's time to stop fighting," she said.
