Disclaimer: Official Christmas chapter in Paw Patrol X! Yeah, I know, I skipped over Thanksgiving, but I really wanted to do this Christmas chapter, and I feel like this season's gonna have the longest in universe time out of all the other seasons anyway, so why not take advantage of that? Here, we're finally gonna get to see Zuma and Melody's bond in person! I'm already beyond excited to show you what I'm doing with this. And also to bring Moby and Coral back.

Also, I don't own Paw Patrol.

Paw Patrol X

Powered Up Pooches arc Episode nine: Melody's Biwthweek

It was only a few days before Christmas, and Wave was checking the presents to make absolute sure of something. After she did so, she looked back to Zuma, who was revealed to be standing behind her. "You were looking at it correctly Zuma. Melody got a second birthday present from almost everyone!"

"Good. I'll have a little something planned for whoever missed her too." Zuma stated clearly, sounding very serious about it as well. When it came to Melody, no one would stop Zuma from showering her with affection. After that was made clear, he and Wave heard a clucking noise.

Wave and Zuma looked to see Rubble looking at them while sitting by the stockings. They gained sly grins with Wave asking Rubble about the clucking. "Rubble. Was that Chickaletta I just heard?"

"Nothing! She's not even in the room." Rubble lied, pointing to his stocking to blame it on it. "It's just my stocking."

"Are you sure? Does your stocking cluck?"

"Yes. And it's finally found its voice."

Wave and Zuma shared an exchange before Wave walked over to the stocking. "Then I guess you won't care if I look inside."

Wave grabbed the stocking to look into it as Rubble protested to the idea. "Wave, don't! The stocking's allergic to vore!"

Wave looked inside the stocking to find Chickaletta holding a candy cane for Rubble. Upon taking Chickaletta out, Wave took the candy cane and let Zuma put the stocking back up. "Rubble, what have we said about using Chickaletta for secret heists?"

Rubble gained a guilty look and sheepish smile before trying to come up with a good excuse. "Um... I plead the fifth?"

"You need a lawyer for that Wubble." Zuma deadpanned, and when the elevator dinged, he ran off in joy. "Mom! Dad! Melody!" Liberty was leaving her room as Zuma told her about Rubble's plans. "Wubble has Chickaletta in the living woom!"

"Thanks Zuma!" Liberty called back as she ran off, being ready to tell Rubble off for taking Chickaletta again.

Zuma ran over to his family, giving Melody a big hug when he reached her first. "Happy biwthday and mewwy almost Chwistmas Melody!" He then hugged his parents as well. "Mewwy almost Chwistmas mom and dad!"

"Merry almost Christmas Zuma!" Celeste exclaimed, being more than happy to be spending Christmas in Adventure City with her family. She was already impressed with how big the Paw Patrol's new home was. "You weren't kidding about how big this place is. We already had trouble finding this place, and now we're getting a good look at where YOU guys live!"

"Gotta make it easy to find for the citizens of the city." Zuma stated, and then he looked at Melody, being more than happy to be spending the week with her. "Don't you wowwy one bit Melody. This is gonna be your best biwthweek yet!"

"Yay! I can't wait bigger brother!" Melody cheered before she wrapped her arms around Zuma. "This Christermas is gonna be great!" Gabe and Celeste smiled to each other while holding paws, being more than proud of how their children have been growing up. And to think Melody still had so much time.

A little while later, Coral and Moby were riding in the elevator as Coral talked about what she was going to do with Claw. "I even managed to talk him into Christmas carols! I wonder if Adventure City likes them."

"Just don't sing any of them around me, and I won't care." Moby requested before admitting he was excited to see Charm again. "I can't wait to see Charm again. We've been planning this for weeks." Coral happily listened to Moby before something ended up sneaking up on her... "I just know this is gonna be great. The only thing I don't like about him is-"

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT

...a loud and bassy ten second fart left Coral's vibrating butt, leading to her covering the elevator with a big green cloud of spoiled fish. Coral blushed and wafted the fart away with Moby giving a deadpan expression while covering his nose and finishing his sentence. "how gassy he is."

When the elevator stopped, Coral and Moby left with Charm snickering as Moby gasped for air. Claw was there as well, and he embraced Coral as Charm smirked to Moby. "Let me guess. Another one of Coral's sneak expulsions?"

"Her most ill-timed one yet." Moby added, being more than glad to be out of the elevator. "The one good thing about Mer-Pups? They can't fart."

Coral blushed as she apologized to Moby for gassing him out. "Sorry Moby. I always forget how easy getting used to my land pup body is."

Claw comforted Coral as the four of them walked into the living room. "Don't worry Seashell. You're not the ONLY gassy girl visiting the city."

Sweetie scoffed, questioning what Claw was talking about off screen. "I sincerely you aren't referring to ME with that one Claw." Sweetie was shown to be admiring herself in a mirror while wearing a Christmas sweater and some wool pants for her hind legs which showed off her butt. Because of course she needed that. She turned around, pointing her butt at the mirror as she admired it before... "Coral's expulsions have already proven to be noxious compared to-"

PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...

...a loud and bassy fart that made her butt vibrate as she let out a big yellow cloud of rotten eggs. Once the mirror broke, Chase walked up to her and grinned as he welcomed her to the club for mirror breaking farters. "Welcome to the club Sweetie."

"Shut up Chase! I'd never show up to a meeting for something like that!" Sweetie protested, only to then release a little extra gas alongside her fart...

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP

...She covered her mouth after that with Chase snickering in response, leaving Claw and Charm to do the same as Moby rolled his eyes and addressed one thing to Coral. "Okay, I'll admit. I'm glad it wasn't HER I was in the elevator with." Sweetie started wafting her fart away, but to no avail, as it quickly covered the living room...

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...

A little while later, Liberty was giving Melody a piggyback ride around the living room, as she wanted to see what riding on a Dachshund was like. She was enjoying it quite a bit, laughing happily as Zuma watched them from the couch. Melody rested her head on Liberty's head as she complimented her fur. "Your fur is really softy Liberty. It's like Zuma's fur if it were furry."

"Hehe. Thanks." Liberty said before admitting that she didn't know much about her breed. "I don't know why some Dachshunds have long hair like I do."

"It's pwobably a genetic thing." Zuma suggested, having learned a thing or two about this from Rocky. "I leawned a thing or two about this kinda stuff fwom Wocky. It's the biggest weason why some Labwadors have bwown fur like me, and othews are golden or black."

Liberty gave that moment a bit of thought as Melody pretend steered her over to the couch. "Maybe we could ask him if it's the same thing with MY breed." Melody pretend stopped in front of Zuma, allowing him to pick her up and set her down on the couch next to her. Liberty hopped up onto the couch as well, expressing how happy she was to work so well with Melody. "Melody really is a sweetheart Zuma."

"You'd better believe she is." Zuma responded, rubbing Melody's head as he brought up how well Liberty's been doing in Adventure City. "Then again, any kid would be like that awound you. You've pwotected this city so well you'we at wisk of making Chase jealous."

Zuma started giving Melody raspberries as Liberty smiled in response to Zuma's compliment. "You really think so?"

"Yeah. I mean, you've been looking over Adventuwe City for thwee yeaws now." Zuma pointed out, adding something else to what he just said. "And almost evewyone who's lived in the city loves you."

Liberty saw Zuma's points, finding that both of them were true. Still, her doubts regarding her lack of a real power made her concerned about whether or not she'd do as well as the rest of the team. After remembering what Snow told her a while back, she decided that later that day, she'd tell Wave about her issues. For now, she would smile and accept Zuma's words. "I guess you're right. Thanks Zuma."

"I'm only speakin' facts." Zuma assured Liberty, giving Melody a piggyback ride of her own as they headed off to see Rocky. "Come on Melody. Let's go find mom and dad in Wocky's lab."

"Yay! Rock Rock, Rock Rock!" Melody cheered, being excited to spend some time with Rocky again. Liberty couldn't help but giggle at Melody calling him 'Rock Rock'. She could only imagine how Rocky started to feel about that when Melody learned how to talk.

Liberty hopped off to go find Wave, feeling that now was a good time to finally tell her about her deeper feelings. "Hey Zuma! Wave said she'd be in the park, right!?"

"That's wight!" Zuma assured Liberty, who headed off to find Wave and make sure her moment wasn't lost.

Rocky was showing one of his Christmas themed inventions to Zuma and his family, being more than happy to explain as much as he could about the candy-cane shaped device. "And this button turns the candy cane into a Christmas themed nightlight!" Zuma turned the light off on cue, allowing Rocky to turn the candy cane on and show just how festive the lights on the ceiling were. There were candy canes, Christmas trees, and stars galore. Melody was left in awe, as were Gabe and Celeste. "That can work in synchronization with the music setting."

Gabe started rubbing Zuma's head as he commended him for his contribution to the device. "Sounds like a perfect fit for this amazing musician's tunes." Zuma wrapped his arm around Gabe as he then made a request. "Any chance we'll get to see how well he strummed Jingle Bells?"

"We're saving that for dinner tonight." Rocky answered, being more than happy to see the theme play its part then. "I assume the three of you already found your rooms?"

"We sure did. Right next to Zuma's, as requested." Celeste chimed in, holding Melody lovingly as she gave her some reassurance about one thing. "Don't be afraid to come to one of our rooms at night Melody. We understand how hard it is to sleep in an unfamiliar place. Even if you're still with your family at that place."

"Okay mommy." Melody replied, reaching over to Zuma so she could be held by him. Celeste handed Melody to her older brother, who was more than happy to be holding her again. "I hope I get a heckin' good viewer of the city at night."

"Oh, twust me. I made suwe Wyder wemembered." Zuma assured Melody, being more than happy to fulfill any accommodations she desired. He then started sitting down in Rocky's chair, making him laugh as he scooted over to share the seat with Zuma. "There's just one thing I want fwom you." Zuma offered Rocky to Melody, who happily accepted as Zuma expressed his desire. "Find yourself attwacted by the cuddliest wolf in the world!"

Rocky happily started hugging Melody, despite joking about how Zuma described him. "Zuma, there's much more to me than being cuddly."

"CUDDLES!" Zuma exclaimed when hugging Rocky and Melody, who were more than happy to hug him back. They also let Gabe and Celeste join in, giving themselves one big family group hug. The only pup who was missing from the family was Charm. But he wasn't a hugger, so he wouldn't have minded not joining in. Besides; he already knew he was a part of Rocky and Zuma's family.

Wave was in the park with Snow, Marshall, Chase, Skye, Everest, Claw, and Coral, with the four couples skating on the ice together. Chase was holding Skye above his head while skating around the lake. Wave and Snow were forming their own figure eight, which ended with them sharing a kiss at the end of both of their circles. Claw and Coral were performing some kind of catching trick, but when Coral jumped, Claw slipped a bit when going to catch her. This led to them crashing into each other and falling on the ice. Claw then checked to see if Coral was okay.

Marshall and Everest were doing some casual skating with Marshall twirling Everest as they continued skating on the lake. The twirling stopped when Marshall started to lose his balance, causing him to stumble while letting go of Everest. "Whoa!" Marshall accidentally activated his crystal after falling on his chest, causing him to unintentionally melt a piece of the ice with a fire paw blast and fall into the ice cold water. Everyone else saw this and went over to Marshall to get him out.

In no time flat, Marshall was frozen in a big block of ice, which the others noticed as they got him out. Wave assured Marshall they'd get right on getting him out of there. "Don't worry Marshall. We'll get you unfrozen soon enough."

Once the pups got him onto the snow, Everest gently rubbed the ice to give Marshall further reassurance. "We'll be right here to help you out Mar Mar."

Chase then pointed his butt at the ice, giving the others a warning as he gave a proud grin. "You guys might wanna get out of the way." The others did as instructed with Chase then unleashing...

PHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

...a loud and bassy fart on cue, making Chase's butt vibrate as the yellow eggy cloud melted the ice block Marshall was stuck in. Snow rolled her eyes as she snarked about Chase's strategy. "Of course this was his first plan." It made pretty fast work as well, unfreezing him on both ends rather easily. However, once Marshall's butt was free, he ended up letting out a flame powered fart from his own vibrating butt, one that melted even more of the ice in the process...

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT

PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT

...once the farting stopped, Chase and Marshall rejoined the others with Marshall bashfully apologizing for melting the lake. "Sorry pups. Guess we'll have to skate onto the next activity."

Liberty was shown looking for Wave as she overheard the others calling Marshall out for his pun. "Marshall!"

Liberty ran in the direction she heard the others laughing in, being glad to see that Wave was with them, as Zuma said she'd be. She went over to them, starting to get worried again when she did. She shook it off the best she could, remembering Snow's advice as she addressed Wave. "Hey Wave. Hey guys." Wave and the others looked at Liberty, leaving Liberty to run over to Coral excitedly. "Oh; you're Coral, right!?" Coral smiled and nodded her head yes as Liberty then happily started shaking her paw. "I was on patrol when you arrived! I'm Liberty!"

"Nice to officially meet you Liberty!" Coral responded, being more than happy to meet another friend of Skye's. "I hope you weren't planning to skate with us, because we kind of ruined the ice."

Liberty looked to find part of the ice unfrozen with Marshall giving a sheepish grin and nervous chuckle in response. Claw wrapped his arm around Coral as he praised how pretty she was on skates. "We may not have it down yet, but this beautiful Queen makes anything look amazing just by touching it."

Coral giggled a bit before playfully shoving Claw into the snow. "Oh Claw, stop it."

Skye walked up to Liberty, figuring there was a reason she was outside. "Did you need something Liberty? I know you were excited to play with Melody especially today."

"Oh, right! Thanks for reminding me Skye." Liberty responded, and then she turned to Wave, showing her worried feelings as she addressed this. "Wave. I kind of... have to talk to you about something. In private. It's... a lot."

Wave could feel that this was a struggle for Liberty to open up about. Wanting to help her feel more comfortable with it, she smiled and gestured her to follow her. "Whatever you need. Let's find a good spot to make it happen."

"Great. Thanks." Liberty replied, and then she headed off with Wave, who assured the others they'd be right back while doing her signature paw shake with Liberty. Wave could see how concerned Liberty was about discussing whatever was on her mind. Whatever it was, it must've been something really heavy. Wave just hoped she could give Liberty the advice she needed.

Wave and Liberty were in a private spot while sitting on a park bench with Wave addressing Liberty's concerned, and somewhat scared expression. Liberty took some deep breaths while reminding herself of what she learned over the first half of the season so far. 'Okay Liberty. You can do this. Arrby's been helping you learn to open up to others. And the advice Snow gave you last month was sound. Just consider that training for opening up about a crazy scientist making you feel-"

"Libby?" Liberty flinched with Wave then addressing the fact that she startled her. "Sorry. I just wanted to remind you that, you can talk to me about anything. And if it turns out you need more time, don't be afraid to tell me."

Liberty smiled, always being grateful for Wave's soft and welcoming vibe. Alongside the help Snow and Arrby gave her, it made opening up so much easier. "Thanks Wave. I'll keep that in mind." Liberty took one last breath before she started to talk about what was on her mind. "These past few months, I've been seriously questioning my ability to help this city." After realizing she took two months to talk to Wave about this, she addressed how long it took. "I guess I should've brought this up a lot sooner, but I didn't know how to tell you."

Wave had a good idea about what caused this. She knew it had to have something to do with Liberty's power. "Does it have something to do with the fact that we haven't discovered your power yet?"

"Yeah, but it's not just that." Liberty explained, going into more detail as she talked about how Victoria spoke to her. "While Arrby and I were taking down Victoria's device to stop the meteor, she told me I was a pathetic little street rat who... can't even protect the city." Wave could believe Victoria would say something like that. It didn't mean she wasn't hurt for Liberty when she heard it. "She also said that I only joined the Paw Patrol out of luck. I don't even know what she meant by that. Is it because Ryder gave me a pup tag three days after meeting me?"

Wave didn't want Liberty believing those words, letting her know what Victoria was trying to do. "Victoria strikes me as a really bitter person Liberty. She might've just been trying to get into your head." Liberty looked directly at Wave as she continued sharing her take on this. "I know I can't say for sure, since I don't know everything about her. But some people will just hurt you because they can. Or because it makes them feel better. Possibly because of an awful upbringing."

"That might be able to explain why she flunked out of Harvard." Liberty stated bluntly, and then she sighed before opening up about why this affected her so much. "I guess a part of me knew she was just trying to mess with my head. But it still hurt to hear stuff like that." Liberty allowed Wave to wrap an arm around her to comfort her as she got more emotional. "And everything on top of it from the meteor hitting Adventure City, to my power not developing as fast as the others, to how intense things got so fast... I think I started to believe it myself."

Wave made sure Liberty was finished before she spoke up again. "Because it was all so sudden that you didn't know how to process it all."

Liberty nodded her head yes before continuing with her words. "You and the others helped a lot with it, but it was still so much to grasp. I spent three years protecting this city, and now all of this was happening." Liberty clenched her paws, trying to hold in her tears as she exclaimed the last part. "I felt like... I was starting to let everyone down!" Wave stayed right there with Liberty, who admitted to something else alongside everything. "This might sound silly, but... I think my old orphanage caretaker saying no one would ever want me came back too."

"It'll never be silly for those thoughts to come back." Wave assured Liberty, knowing how sporadic trauma could be. "Sometimes, I randomly start thinking about my mom. I never told you this, but... she died on her hospital bed in front of me, Marshall, and our sister Margareth." Liberty was stunned about this, and Wave opened up a little more about something else. "Trauma never goes away Libby. We can come to terms with it, and move past it, but it always sticks with us. And it's okay to talk about it when it does."

Liberty always felt validated when talking to the other pups, especially Wave. The mention of her mother helped her feel better about her trauma lingering as well. "I wish I could've met your mother. She must've been really sweet." Wave's nod confirmed that to Liberty. As Liberty thought about it, she started to feel bad about keeping this bottled up. The fact that she wasn't used to opening up deep wounds didn't sound like a good reason to her anymore. "I'm sorry I didn't speak up sooner. I didn't want to burden you."

Wave shared a smile as she looked at Liberty when turning to her. "You could never burden me. Your heart is too big." Liberty turned to Wave after she said that, and Wave raised her paw finger, indicating that she was going to do something else. "It may be harder for you to express yourself." Wave slowly moved her paw to Liberty's hear to let her know that she was gonna touch her there. Because of it, Liberty handled it well when Wave finished saying what she thought of Liberty's big heart. "But I can tell that deep down, you always mean your best."

Liberty held Wave's paw after hearing that, having a wide smile on her face as she shed a tear of joy for her. She then hugged Liberty, who went to hug her as well, and the two embraced each other warmly in the cold winter. Liberty felt a huge weight lifted off of her shoulders. She still had her doubts of course. But she felt much better about tackling them, and her chances of protecting the city, especially once her power fully developed. And it was all thanks to the Paw Patrol, with her biggest and longest helper being Wave.

Her best friend.

Charm and Moby were relaxing at the Lookout together with Charm gulping down some hot cocoa as Moby inspected his latest creation through blacksmithing. "You actually managed to pull off a water enhanced battle axe!?"

"That's what happens when one of your missions gets you lots of incredible augmentations." Charm said happily, being more than proud of how much work he'd put into his blacksmithing. "I had about a month to prepare, so let's consider this a Christmas present for Coral's army."

"Not that I'd go back to see them train with it." Moby joked, leaving himself and Charm to laugh as Moby put the axe back. "In all honesty, I'm really glad I could come. Just hanging out with you in your room is enough to make the holidays something, special. You know?"

Charm smiled when sitting down next to Moby on his bed. "I think I might have an idea." Charm then went over to his bedside table, revealing a little something for Moby after pulling it out. "Okay, I can't wait anymore." He revealed a small box to Moby, much to his delight. "Here's your cheat gift!"

Moby happily accepted the gift, unwrapping it when he expressed his gratitude. "Thanks Charm!" Moby finished unwrapping the gift, and was intrigued when he saw that it was a special headset. His curiosity struck when he thought about why Charm gave this to him. "A headset?"

"It's more than that." Charm began to explain, pointing to one particular feature he felt Moby would love. "The button right there will help you talk into my earpiece if I need your help for a mission." Moby put the headset on and found the comfortability of it quite pleasing. Charm then explained why he gave Moby a gift like that. "You said you wanted to know what it was like to help out on missions, right? Well, I may not be a Paw Patrol member, but I think you'll still be satisfied."

Moby was quite happy when he realized what Charm was talking about. The idea of helping him on missions, even if it was off field (Which he preferred anyway), brought a smile to his face. "Thanks Charm." He chuckled a bit before admitting to something else. "I'm... not really sure what to say beyond that."

"Well you COULD say 'Charm, I'll be right there to help you kick serious butt during your next mission!'.' Charm said, acting out what Moby would say, and doing even more of that after hopping off of the bed. "And then follow it up with 'I'd love to see how you slaughter those who threaten this world while also looking at your hot butt on the monitor during downtime!" Charm was obviously joking about that last one, prompting his and Moby's laugh. "Oh, right. If you want to activate the camera feature, just hook it up to your laptop or something at home."

"I'll keep that in mind." Moby assured Charm, putting his headset away in his pack as he gave Charm a warning about something. "And you'd better not use this headset to wake me up with one of the 'morning pranks' you learned from Zuma."

"Oh Moby, I wouldn't dream of it!" Charm lied, and then he gave a sly grin while cheekily admitting to it. "Okay, I definitely would." Moby rolled his eyes while smiling, still being grateful for the gift. Charm was glad he enjoyed it, having hoped he would be open to making good use out of it.

Soon after Wave and the others got back to HQ, Sid and Arrby arrived. Arrby was playing pirates with Melody, who was making Zuma 'walk the plank' with a wooden sword. "You're not walking the planker fast enough Brown-Water! Walk faster!"

Zuma and Arrby couldn't help snickering at the nickname Melody gave to Zuma. Arrby backed her up while giving Zuma a warning. "You'd best listen to her warnings quickly Brown-Water. Captain Tuneford isn't someone you wish to mess with."

"I'll nevew suwwendew!" Zuma declared, continuing his declaration with pride. "Even if you get me off of this ship, I'll come back with an awmy ten times stwonger than-!"

POKE

Zuma yipped as Melody accidentally poked him right in the center of his butt with the sword. Even though the sword wasn't made out of metal, it still hurt quite a bit to be poked in that particular area. Melody instantly realized her mistake, attempting to apologize as she pulled out the sword. "Sorry about-" However, as soon as she got it out, Zuma's butt was shown as he ended up hitting her with...

BLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP

...a loud and bassy thirty second fart, making Zuma's butt vibrate as his green fart cloud of rotten fish caused Melody to roll back against the wall. Zuma quickly realized that he farted on Melody, and once the fart ended, he ignored the fact that he just covered the entire room in his gas. Instead, he ran over to Melody to check on her, being horrified that she might've been knocked out. "I'm so sowwy Melody! Are you okay!? Please be okay!"

Melody coughed and gagged from the fart, wafting it away while commenting on Zuma's gas. "You weren't supposed to farty on me Zuma. That's when... when did Arrby say pirates fart again?"

Zuma was releaved to see that Melody was okay, picking her up to hug her in relief. "Oh thank goodness!" However, he ended up hugging Melody a little too tight, leading to her letting out a squeaker herself...

pfft

...Upon hearing this, the two siblings laughed with Melody still coughing from the fart gas. Zuma then realized what he had to help out with and went over to a window to get the gas cleared out. "Cmon. Let's get this woom cleaned out."

After opening up a window, Zuma and Melody went over to Arrby, who was opening up a window himself as he complained about his sword's smell. "Well, thanks to you two dirty pirates, I'm gonna have to wash the smell of rotten fish off of my play sword."

"That's assuming you can find a way to wash wood." Zuma chimed in, and then he started praising Melody for how well he did. "You would make such a gweat piwate Melody. I can see you conquewing the seven seas as soon as you get your own ship!"

"Can this pirate sailer over to some hot chocolate with marshallmallows?" Melody asked, and Zuma nodded his head yes, taking her over there with Arrby. "Yay!"

Zuma then looked to Arrby with gratitude for participating in the game. "Thanks for playing piwates with us Awwby. I can tell it meant a lot to Melody."

"Not a problem. Just try not to fart on my sword next time. Or your sister." Arrby joked, leaving Zuma to hug Melody again after hearing that.

Melody kissed Zuma's cheek lovingly while exclaiming her love for him. "I love you too bigger brother!"

Snow and Everest were in Wave and Snow's room as Snow was telling Everest about one of her latest nightmares. "And then he started... forcing Wave to force feed me peaches." Everest shuddered at the very thought of that, which Snow felt was more than valid. "Wave had that exact same reaction. And rightfully so. The hives I would've gotten alone freak me out. But my own girlfriend being FORCED to do that to me?" Snow expressed her anguish to Everest when walking up to her. "I can't become like dad. I just can't."

"You won't Snow. I know you won't." Everest assured Snow, rubbing her sister's head while making it clear she knew she wouldn't turn out like that. "I know it's been harder for you to control your emotions these last few months, but the fact that you're thinking this hard about it is enough proof to me, that you'll never be like dad." Snow started rubbing her arm with Everest making a suggestion. "You wanna head back out there and join our friends for some hot cocoa?"

Snow did smile at the thought of hot cocoa with her friends. Especially since she knew she'd be sharing a cup with Wave. Well, two cups anyway. Because, of course. "That sounds awesome."

Snow and Everest left the room and joined the others with Everest giving Snow some more words of encouragement. "And don't worry. Carl will never find us, even if he wants to make that happen."

Snow smiled in relief upon hearing that reminder, knowing it would be next to impossible for Carl to find them now. When the Huskies joined everyone, Wave instantly headed over to Snow and kissed her cheek affectionately. "Hope you're ready Snowflake! I prepared a cup just for the two of us."

Snow happily accepted the cup, sitting down next to Wave as she thanked her for the gesture. "Thanks Wave. I just know it's gonna be delicious." Wave and Snow then happily sipped the hot cocoa, taking their own turns while making sure not to burn their tongues.

Christmas Day

Wave and the others were in the HQ living room with everyone opening up their gifts, and Snow was looking visibly anxious about how Claw felt about what she got him. It was a new blanket with a dragon on it, and Claw smirked when addressing how anxious she was. "You can let your guard down Snow. I was looking to get a new one anyway."

Snow sighed of relief, glad that she got a fitting gift for Claw. "I'm glad I got you one you liked then. I was worried I got you something totally thoughtless."

"Nah, you're good." Claw assured Snow, who smiled in relief that she was able to get his gift right.

"And I also like the flashlight you got me." Snow said, being glad to have a brand new flashlight for when she had night missions.

Zuma then walked up to Claw with a stern expression, much to his surprise as Zuma then addressed something crucial. "Claw. Why does Melody only have one pwesent fwom you?"

"Because I wasn't going to buy her two things just because you told me to." Claw answered, even pointing out how happy Melody was with her presents, including the stuffed dragon he got her, which she showed her parents happily. "Besides, I think you spoil her enough as is. She's at risk of becoming a second Sweetie."

"You say that as if it's a bad thing." Sweetie chimed in while painting Coral's nails coral pink, much to both of thee delights. "I just knew you were a summer!"

Zuma gave a slow nod before walking off a couple seconds later with a declaration of what he was gonna do as a result of this. "I'm gonna go poop in your bed."

Claw flinched after hearing that, checking to make sure he heard Zuma correctly. "What?" He then got more concerned as he went after Zuma, who was heading to his room. "Wait; what!?"

Wave, Liberty, and Arrby overheard the event, and the latter two looked at Wave to let her explain. "Yeah, you don't wanna pass on getting Melody two gifts for her 'birthweek'."

What Claw was heard shouting from the hallway confirmed this. "Zuma! Don't, poop, in my bloody bed!" Liberty and Arrby shared a nodding exchange, seeing that as a reminder to always get Melody two gifts; one for her birthday, and one for Christmas.

While watching his set of monitors, Slash was sipping a cup of hot cocoa himself as he looked over the Paw Patrol. He was delighted as he thought about what he was planning to do for his next attack. He switched between viewpoints as he saw several different citizens of Adventure City celebrating holidays from Christmas, to Hanukkah, to Kwanza. 'So many cheerful people, unaware of their fate.' Slash chuckled devilishly before he spoke up. "I hope they're all appreciative of the Christmas assault I planned for them."

Slash then made a call to Victoria, who was more than excited for what he was about to say. "Slash! Finally! Are we finally getting ready for our next attack?"

"We certainly are Victoria." Slash assured Victoria, giving a sadistic grin as he looked at the Paw Patrol's monitor with a peculiar question for the psychotic scientist, possibly implying what their next attack would involve. "Have you finished working on the plane we retrieved?" And with that, the screen faded to black, ending the episode off.

Rock music started playing as Wave started talking about what was going to happen with specific moments from the next chapter being shown. "Guess we should've known Slash's team wouldn't feel like giving us Christmas off! And who gave them a plane!? I'm pretty sure none of them have license! No time to waste on asking questions. We have to protect the city at any cost we can! That said, I think this attack is gonna be even more intense than the last."

Wave finished the announcement with the words Paw Patrol in all blue with red outlines surrounded with a white border with Wave on the right, and Marshall on the left. "Next time, Protecting The City On Christmas!" Wave was with Zuma and Everest as the three tried to think of a way to get past the demons keeping them at bay. "Arrby! Do you have any non-superpower related ideas that can help us!?"
