Chapter 11: Rise of the Black Arms Part 2
*Xehanort - The Early Years*
Inside the Black Comet, Seth along with Young Xehanort and Black Doom are watching how the Aether Team are going towards the Black Comet.
Black Doom: Shadow already has the Sixth Chaos Emerald and he got used to working with the Aether Team easily.
Seth: So how many of them does Shadow need?
Black Doom: Shadow needs to gather Seven Chaos Emeralds. The last one is here.
Y. Xehanort: That would mean they will go to us.
*Final Haunt - Shadow the Hedgehog*
Meanwhile, with the main group, they've managed to arrive inside the Black Comet.
Kibou: Is this the inside of the Black Comet?
S. Pichu: Chu?
ArkhaiAngemon: Apparently yes, since it is our first time here.
Shadow: I can feel them everywhere.
Mario: The Black Arms?
Shadow: Yes.
Aria: And they are not alone.
Just as Aria said, they watched the Heartless working along with the Black Arms.
Rei: Heartless and Black Arms working together is a bad combination.
The group manages to land before the Digivolved Digimon returns to their Rookie Forms and then as they advanced, they found Sonic and the others.
Sonic: Well, guys. It looks like we've reached the climax of our little game.
Knuckles: This is where we finally put an end to the invasion.
Tails: Also, we must be careful, because there are Black Arms everywhere.
Caleb: OK then. Let's do this!
The group went through the interior of the Black Comet where they faced armored Black Hawks known as Black Bolts, golden-armored Black Warriors known as Black Assassins, Black Oaks wielding hammers, Black Warriors, and Heartless like Mechanitaurs, High Soldiers, and Flutterings.
Amy: We're surrounded!
Aria: Don't worry! We got this!
The enemies tried to attack the heroes, but they've defend themselves. Tails attacks by swinging his own tails while Sara assists him by using Thunder Raid and Sliding Dash. Knuckles digs through the ground before delivering uppercuts while Rei assists him as he casts Thundaga and uses Horizon Beam. Mario and Sonic works together as the red plumber casts Mega Flare while Sonic uses Spin Dash as he curls himself while spinning and dashing to take down many enemies. Shadow uses Chaos Spear while Luke casts Homing Missiles Shotlock which he summons energy missiles to fire them towards the enemies. Amy attacks the enemies by bashing her Piko Piko Hammer while Aria assists her as she performs Ars Arcanum and casts Blizzaga. Rouge delivers aerial and drill kicks against the enemies while Abby assists her while performing Aerial Sweep, Air Spiral, and Hurricane Blast, while the rest of the group uses their known attacks against the enemies. Only Caeli and Kibou were watching until the enemies were defeated.
Rouge: Not bad.
Abby: Thank you.
Knuckles: So what about Caeli and Kibou?
Caeli: We still haven't had our Keyblades yet.
Kibou: But we still have our Digimon and Pokemon to battle against the enemies.
S. Pichu: Pichu.
S. Popplio: Popplio.
Caleb: Also, Caeli wants to stay close to me since our father passed away.
Aria: The same is with Kibou since our mother passed away too.
Amy: We're sorry about that.
Aria: It's OK. After all, I promised her that I'd take care of Kibou. Now we have to keep moving.
The group nods before continuing across the corridors of the Black Comet and also defeating Heartless and Black Arms alike. Shadow grabs a bluish-grayish gun called the Ring Shot which fires purple energy rings to defeat the enemies and the group continues until they arrived at a hangar-like room where they face Black Assassins and Neoshadows.
Tails: Those are the same Black Arms from before!
Sonic: Looks like the aliens have decided to send in the best of the best!
Luke: Well, they may be the best, but we're better than them!
Just Luke said, he and Caleb went to face the enemies as they performed Circle Raid and casted Triple Plasma, S. Absol uses Night Slash and Ice Beam, S. Mew uses Dazzling Gleam and Aura Sphere, Veemon uses V-Punch to rush through the enemies by swinging his arms into circles while hitting them, while Dracomon uses Tail Smasher and Baby Breath and they've managed to defeat them all.
Knuckles: Alien scum.
Rei: The same I say.
The group continues through the room until they exited from the hangar and continued through the corridors, but they found multiple pulsating purple blobs with horns and one eye in the middle of their bodies known as Death Leeches.
Amy: Eww! What are those things? They're disgusting! Go, go, get rid of em!
Ila casts Thundaga, S. Fennekin uses Heatwave, while Hackmon uses Teen Ram with the three of them destroying the Death Leeches.
Sara: Those were Black Arms in the larva stage. Therefore, they're disgusting.
Amy: Phew. Thank you, Ila.
Ila: No problem.
S. Fennekin: Fennekin.
Then the group continues through the corridors of the Black Arms' stronghold until they faced Black Oaks.
Sonic: You know what they say: The bigger they are...
Caleb: The harder they fall.
S. Mew nods, knowing what they meant before using Low Kick which his legs glow in orange before ducking down and swinging the legs around, tripping the Black Oaks who were defeated as they crashed onto the ground.
Mario: Well, someone took the concept literally.
Then the group continues across the corridors while avoiding some moving tentacles.
Caeli:(Scared)Brother…!
Kibou:(Scared)Sister…!
Aria: Don't worry.
Caleb: We got this.
Caleb and Aria uses Strike Raid to slice those moving and creepy tentacles before continuing until they found a particular switch.
Tails: Don't touch that switch! That'll seal off the path that we need to follow!
Just as the two-tailed fox explained, the group left the switch before taking a different path while defeating the enemy troops until they face Black Wings, even black worm-like aliens known as Black Worms, and Heartless like Red Nocturnes, Blue Rhapsodies, Yellow Operas, and Green Requiems.
Rouge: The colors from those enemies should have a meaning.
Sara: Yeah. the Red Nocturnes are immune to fire, the Blue Rhapsodies are immune to ice, Yellow Operas are immune to electricity, and the Green Requiems can heal the enemies.
Tails: Therefore, we must take down the Green Requiems first.
Just as they said, Mario uses Strike Raid while Shadow uses Chaos Spear to defeat the Green Requiems. Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails uses Spin Dash to defeat the Yellow Operas which allows Sara and Caleb to cast Thundaga, Veemon uses V-Punch, while Pulsemon uses Electric Rush with all of them defeating the enemies. A Black Assassin appears, but S. Popplio and S. Pichu uses Disarming Voice, followed by Luxmon using Tiny Knuckle, and Floramon using Poison Ivy to slam the Black Assassin to the ground. Then Shadow grabs the red gun called the Retractor before firing red energy shots at the Fluttering Heartless.
Luke: Since when can you handle those weapons?
Shadow: I easily got used to using them.
The group continues advancing through the Black Comet until they arrived onto a platform where there are other platforms which carried them upwards and went through more corridors until they found a green projection of Black Doom.
Caleb: Black Doom…!
Sonic: That might just be a decoy to trap us. But it's our only clue we have right now.
Mario: Guess-a we'll-a just have to follow him!
The group kept moving forward until they reached a particular room with a red jewel in the center of the room. Then apart from the Sixth Chaos Emerald, other Five Chaos Emeralds appeared. They are light blue, white, yellow, blue, and green.
Shadow: I finally got the Seven Chaos Emeralds.
*Xehanort - The Early Years*
Suddenly, Black Doom himself along with Young Xehanort and Seth appears in front of the group as Caeli hid behind Caleb and Kibou hid behind Aria after seeing Black Doom.
Black Doom: You've done well, Shadow. Even the Aether Team as well. I'm very impressed you've made it this far.
Y. Xehanort: However, the fate of this world is sealed.
Luke: That remains to be seen!
Shadow: Black Doom! Your rule ends here and it ends right now!
Mario: So you're behind all this?
Sonic: Like it or not, the game's over!
Caleb: We've defeated you 1,000 years before and now we will do it again!
Black Doom: Fools! The Black Arms are more than superior…We are perfect!
Rei: Just like Ra Moon? I don't think so!
Black Doom: Ra Moon was a simple setback. Even if I created Ra Moon, he didn't have any chance to destroy you. Now do you really think you have any chance of defeating us?
The children with their Pokemon and Digimon were shocked after hearing that.
Sara: Did you say Ra Moon?
Ila: Now that explains why Ra Moon proclaims himself as perfect!
Black Doom: Yes, but his defeat only delayed my plans.
Caleb: Aren't you forgetting that we defeated you in the past, Black Doom?
Shadow: Also, it's you who should be scared, Black Doom! I made a promise to Maria to save the planet she loved so much! And I will!
Black Doom: Then get ready to die! And this time, there will be no mistakes! Let me show you the ultimate power in the universe!
Mario: Let's-a go!
Seth: Good luck saving this world if you can!
*Black Doom Battle - Shadow the Hedgehog*
Everyone got ready to fight against Black Doom while Young Xehanort and Seth disappears through a dark portal.
Black Doom: Now I will show you how strong I became after 1,000 years! And you will see for yourselves how pitiful you inferior lifeforms are!
Sonic: This is it! Let's end this once and for all!
Black Doom starts by launching meteors, but the group dodges his attack. Caleb and Mario casts Triple Plasma to hit Black Doom, followed by Shadow using Chaos Spear, and Luke casting Thundaga, but Black Doom disappears before reappearing again and attacks by launching vertical heated energy blades, but the group dodges again. Then Aria uses Prism Rain Shotlock to fire multiple energy homing spheres which hits Black Doom, S. Mew uses Psychic, Alcremie uses Mystical Fire, Veemon uses V-Shot, while Lunamon uses Tear Shot with the attacks hitting Black Doom who then disappears.
Herissmon: He is gone!
Veemon: But he will appear again!
Black Doom reappears before launching purple energy discs, but the group dodges the attack. Sara, Abby, and Luke uses Rising Sun which hits Black Doom, followed by Sonic using a Homing Attack, Knuckles using Meteor Crush which he grabs a large rock beneath him before tossing it at Black Doom who was damaged, and Tails pulling out an arm cannon to fire a yellow plasma ball which hits Black Doom who disappears and reappears again. But as he was advancing, Black Doom left an afterimage of himself who fires purple energy discs while the original one fires meteors, but the group dodges both attacks as Caleb then casts Blue Firaga which is a blue version of the Firaga Spell, hitting Black Doom.
Black Doom: After 1,000 years, you haven't lost your skills and experience during the battles. But I won't make the mistake of underestimating you like I did 1,000 years ago.
Then Black Doom summons Neoshadows and Black Assassins.
Rei: We'll take care of the enemies.
Caleb: OK!
Then Caleb went under a change of form and his clothes are now purple, now known as Mind Form. Luke also transforms and has a gray and black ninja outfit, now known as Vapor Ninja Form. Caleb uses his Mind Shots as he fires energy shots from the tip of his Keyblade while Luke disappears in smoke before reappearing behind Black Doom to aerial slash him several times. But then Black Doom moves away while leaving afterimages of himself, sending the previous attacks.
Mario: Black Doom is-a leaving afterimages-a of himself while sending his-a known attacks! We must be careful!
The group nods as they avoided the attacks. Veemon and Dracomon uses Dragon Pulse which hits Black Doom, followed by S. Absol using Psycho Cut, and S. Mew using Aura Sphere. Black Doom disappears before reappearing again and leaving afterimages of himself. Luke teleports himself again to aerial slash Black Doom, followed by Caleb using Midair Shot, and for finishing touch, Shadow uses Chaos Spear, while Mario used Flame Salvo.
Black Doom: Gah…! Y-you…! This is…not over…!
*Stop Music*
Black Doom collapsed onto the ground while the others managed to defeat the enemy troops while Caleb and Luke reverts to their regular forms.
Shadow: Maria loved this planet! I will not let you destroy it!
Suddenly, Eggman along with Decoe and Bocoe came and lands close to the group.
Luxmon: You three again!
Floramon: What do you want here?
Eggman: This is very important…Black Doom wants to destroy the planet!
*Apprehension*
However, unaware to them, Black Doom manages to get up and grabs the Chaos Emeralds.
Black Doom: I have done it! Now the ritual can commence as I planned. However, you are ignorant fools. We're here to save humans from their own demise. We offer salvation.
Caleb:(Angrily)Salvation? You think invading a planet and destroying cities and attacking people is your good idea of salvation? You're bringing destruction and chaos! Not peace!
Black Doom: Such a typical human attitude. Their greed, thirst for power, and affinity for betrayal has set them on a path of self-destruction. Their actions will lead to the extinction of their species. We're here to save them from themselves with our perfect order. Allowing them to live through their desperate lives in peace. Humans are a great energy source for us. They will be well kept.
Everyone: WHAT?
Caleb: You're not gonna save every human! You just wanna use them for your own food! Just like you tried to do in my homeworld!
Mario: We won't let you get away with this!
Black Doom: How amusing. It seems Xehanort was right. Your wretched existence has corrupted Shadow's path. No matter. After I am finished with this world, I will destroy the Aether Team's homeworld too. Now to begin our ritual of prosperity. Chaos Control!
Suddenly, the Black Comet teleports from space and onto Station Square which is damaged from the invasion and then the Black Comet unleashes tentacles to the ground while from afar, a boy with blue eyes, similar hairstyle from Sora, wearing a red shirt with black sleeves, and blue jeans watches the Black Comet.
Boy: Is that the Black Comet?
*Hesitation*
Now back with the heroes who are in the comet.
Amy: What just happened?
Mario: Black Doom just warped the comet down to the world's-a surface using Chaos Control.
Rouge: That's impossible…
Shadow: That's why you needed the Chaos Emeralds.
Black Doom: Yes, precisely. The comet's velocity isn't powerful enough to pass through another planet's atmosphere. The Emeralds amplify the space-time control powers of Chaos Control. We need them to charge to full power. It's the perfect plan! That's exactly why I needed the Professor to help me.
Decoe & Bocoe: Professor Gerald?
Shadow: What?
Eggman: That's insane!
Sara: That means you really helped Gerald create Shadow?
Black Doom: Indeed. The Professor was in the development of the Ultimate Lifeform. But he needed my help. So we made a deal: I helped him bring life to the Ultimate Lifeform and he promised to deliver the Seven Chaos Emeralds to me. That's why you were created, Shadow. You would help us do both.
Shadow: Me? I can't believe it…
Luke: That's the craziest thing I've ever heard!
Caleb:(Angrily)All this time, you were using Shadow for your own selfish purposes! Just like Ra Moon did with Dr. Wily!
Eggman: That can't be! He betrayed his own people for research? For Black Doom?
Caleb: I had enough of this!
*Stop Music*
Caleb tried to move, but he was paralyzed.
Veemon: Caleb!
S. Mew: Mew!
Then Veemon and S. Mew were paralyzed too.
Luke: What the…?
Then Luke was paralyzed.
Caeli:(Scared)Caleb!
Then Caeli was paralyzed.
Aria: Kibou, hold on!
Then Aria along with the others were paralyzed.
Rei: I-I can't move…
Mario: Mama-Mia…!
Tails: Neither can I…
Dracomon: What did you do to us?
Black Doom: Heheheheheh…This is a special weapon...This gas. Once it's released, it's quickly absorbed into your bloodstream. In a moment, total paralysis will hit your nervous system. The end is near now. Hahahahaha!
Abby: You freak!
Black Doom: Now, my offspring…Eat and devour these dishes!
*Shaded Truths - Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep*
Then the Black Leeches appeared and went towards the paralyzed group.
Caleb: No…!
S. Mew: Mew!
Veemon: Get away!
Kibou: Help!
S. Pichu: Pichu!
Caleb: Shadow…
Aria: Shadow…
Shadow: Just who am I…?
Maria's Voice: Shadow, please. I beg of you. Give them a chance to be happy…
Suddenly, Shadow manages to move and stomps one Death Leech.
Caleb: Shadow!
Black Doom: What?
Caleb: If he can do it…
A light aura surrounds Caleb along with Mario, Veemon, and S. Mew and they've managed to move again before Caleb performs Judgement to destroy all of the Black Arms larvae.
Black Doom: Impossible!
Shadow: I know who I am. I am Shadow the Hedgehog. I've put the past behind me. No one can tell me what to do. Now I'll destroy you, Black Doom!
Black Doom: I gave you life and THIS is how you repay me? Well, I gave you life and I can take it back.
Then Black Doom teleports away.
Caleb: Get back here, you coward!
Shadow: Caleb, Mario, come on!
Caleb: Yeah! Sara, Luke, please take care of Caeli for me!
Luke & Sara: OK.
Caeli: Caleb, please come back.
Caleb: I will. Now let's go!
Veemon and S. Mew nods before following Caleb along with Mario and Shadow who are after Black Doom.
Sonic: Shadow, Mario, Caleb, Mew, Veemon, you're our only hope now.
With that said, Caleb's group are the only ones who can stop Black Doom once and for all while saving all the people of this world.
