Sean's POV

We made it to the Palace. The thing was huge. Carm pushed my head up and took the cotton balls out of my nose for me.

"There, go ahead and smell now."

Sniffer came up and started to sniff around me. When Carm pushed him away from me. "Not you, Fido, I meant Sean. The entire walk he had these in his nose."

I laughed for a second, taking in a breath. "Blood." In the mirror I seen my eyes go a brighter red. "Why do they do that?" Looking at Carm before turning to see her shirt sleeves were all stained red as if she had gotten a lot of blood all over herself.

A guy about the same age as Alec and Marco walked out of a wooden door smiling at Carm. "So glad to see you made it back here okay. I was worried that you had to deal with a few things especially when there was an accident in town."

Carm nodded to him. "Splinter, I need some blood. Can you take Benjamin and Sean into see Caius for me?"

His eyes darted between everyone.

"Benjamin can take me if you want to stay with Carm?" I offered to him.

Carm turned to us, her eyes were a molten orange almost like ambers in a fire. "No. Benjamin does not have the status. You will need at least one member of the royal guard if Caius is in the back room."

She was leaning against the wall as blood began to drip from her hand onto the floor.

I backed away from her getting scared. Alec came up beside her. "You need to go see Garrett." He turned to Splinter. "Just take Sean, then you can come and join us. We will be in the garden."

Splinter shook his head. "You are going to need me. Marco can go with those two, he is as high in the royal guard as either of us." He took hold of her other hand almost wincing.

Marco nodded. "Trance, Torrent lets go." He grabbed my hand pulling both Benjamin and I along not even glancing back at his sister.

I looked at the one who they had called Splinter. I started to wonder if his name really meant anything to do with his gift like these two did. "Where are they taking her and what are they going to do?"

Marco shook his head sending a serious glare to both Trance and Torrent that had me stopping and planting myself where I was.

Marco turned looking at me. "Sean, we need to go see Caius. He won't take kindly to being forced to wait for us, and you truly do not wish to anger him."

"Where are they going to take Carm and what are they going to do to her?"

Marco just shook his head again. "Do not make me do something we will both regret."

Jane walked up hugging Marco at that moment. "Caius is waiting for you. He sent me out to see what was taking so long. He saw you enter the Palace, then Splinter came out." She smiled at him as I turned away from her, and began walking back towards the way Carm had gone.

She caught up to me in a few seconds standing right in front of me putting her hands on my shoulders and smiling.

"I am going to go find Carm. Something was happening with her. I could see how worried Alec and Splinter were when they walked away."

Jane just laughed as a wolf came up placing himself between me and Jane.

"Garrett, shouldn't you be off helping Carm?" Jane asked him.

He transformed back into a person pulling on pants as a wound in his side slowly stitched itself closed in front of me. "Carm will be fine, she can feel the summoning power of Samuel. The tether that connects them is stronger when she is this close." He took my hand and started walking me towards the door under the stairs. "You will see a great many things today, some of which I can explain though a lot are going to be left to Alec and Carm. You must remember we are dealing with vampires, and all 6 members of the legend are in the palace right now. Fido, Torrent, Trance, Carm, Marco, Xavier and Noddy they each hold a very powerful gift, and you will get to see all of them work together as they question one of the captives, we found last night."

I smiled at him. This room was really small though there was a bed in it and a desk it was even smaller than my cave. "Why are we in here?"

He smiled. "Jane wasn't exactly calm out there. Marco can calm her down it just takes a bit longer as he has none of Jasper's gifts. I can't enter the room with you, but I have a few things I can do."

A bang came from the door. "Garrett, I thought you were coming to help?"

I did recognize that voice though I had only heard it a few times.

Garrett laughed for a second. "See no vampires will enter, this is my room." He opened the door with a smile. "Demetri, what a wonderful surprise." He winked at me, and something told me that he knew it was going to be this vampire who came looking for him. "I mean I know I have a homing beacon standing right beside me, but how did you find us so quickly."

He laughed, and for the first time I got to hear a fun side to him. "Old friend, beacon or not I will always be able to find you. Now" he turned to me. "Should we get Sean into see Caius?"

Garrett nodded before sniffing around outside his door. "We should."

We walked out the door and going up the stairs which caused Garrett to giggle of a second. "Who do you think would win in a race, me or Demetri?" he asked with a smile.

I shrugged. "If you were in your wolf form you probably. But I suspect if both human form probably Demetri because I think he is older."

Demetri just shook his head. "Garrett is a lot older than I am. He was in a rebellious phase when I was brought here and forced to stay."

I looked down for a second. "Sorry."

Garrett just laughed. "No need for that. We wolves age a lot slower than them vampires. I take what you said as a compliment." He pointed his thumb at Demetri. "I understand a lot. I have seen a lot of what the Volturi do here. I will remain by your side if you wish, or if there is someone outside of the six who have enough status, they can stay with you."

I shrugged. "I am really only comfortable around you, Carm and Benjamin."

He nodded to me. "I will be it for you then." When we got to the next-door Demetri stopped before pointing at me. Garrett just nodded before turning to me. "Don't hide. Look straight at what is happening. This isn't going to be easy; your mouth is going to water when you can smell the blood from them. Some of the six have a wide cast on their abilities and you will get hit by it, squeeze my hand if you must, do not worry about hurting me."

When we entered the room, a white-haired vampire came up to me. "Sean, what a wonderful day it is to finally meet you." He stuck out his hand for me to shake, though the hand he held out meant I was going to have to let go of Garrett to shake his properly. I glanced around the room desperate for some help from someone as to what to do.

My eyes met Splinter's for a brief second and that had him walking up the stairs towards us. I noticed that he was now barefoot though tape covered his feet and hands. He merely just walked over to my other side taking my other hand. I could feel Garrett's fur in that hand now above the tape that was there. He just nodded and I tentatively let go of Garrett to shake hands with Caius.

No words were said, he just simply knew what I needed. As he walked back to his original location, I began to wonder what his ability really was. Though Garrett was smiling beside me as Caius took a seat in one of the chairs. Garrett moved us to the side to sit on the stairs and have a decent view of what was happening.

Down in the center there were 3 vampires, all three I recognized from this morning.

I leaned over to Garrett. "I thought I was supposed to meet the one from last night, these three are all from today?"

Caius turned around to glance at us. "It would appear the one from last night suffered an unexplained accident through some activities this morning." He grinned at us. "Nothing to worry about though, you will get to meet him soon enough, if you did want to meet him today, we could arrange for that to happen."

I looked at Garrett who just shook his head to me. I assumed that meant talking to Alec and Carm about what the situation had been.

Carm who had joined them in the circle just nodded at me.

Caius smiled looking down. "Now, Carm so glad you could join us. What took you so long?"

Carm blushed for a second. "I needed some blood, stopping in the forest on the way here proved a bigger problem than expected."

Splinter, Torrent and Alec all turned to her bowing, then I noticed that Garrett had raised his other hand and had bowed as well.

Some customs thing was happening I would have to put that on another list to talk to Carm and Alec about later.

Caius nodded. "Very well. I trust you are at full power now?" She just simply nodded her head and stepped back. Caius grinned. "Very well indeed, pick one and unleash fully."

Garrett whispered over to me. "Carm doesn't really have any area ones. Hers are more so single except for the telepathy and her eyes. Usually, her and Splinter or Xavier will team up and become super deadly."

Carm walked up to the one I had caught in the woods. Her hand rested upon his arms as she turned back to look at Caius. "I was told Jane needed to question this one before I could have my fun with him." She commented in a sweet voice.

"You are stalling Carm." He voiced to her.

Her eyes met mine for a split second after hearing those words. After that she shook her head, swinging her arm in front of all three, causing Garrett to shield my face. His back started bleeding on the edge as the cut opened up.

I looked at it placing my hand over it, trying hard to pull on the power that had been inside me the other day to will things back together. I knew it was from the other half of this equation but if it could work just this once.

Garrett smiled at me, "How do you see her?"

I looked at him. "What do you mean, how do I see her?"

He laughed. "The moonchild how do you see her in your mind?"

I laughed for a second. "A big black cat with these glowing moonlike eyes. Paws with red on them but the red isn't blood it is a marking she has."

He grinned. "Close your eyes and picture her. Let the connection between the two of you form that rope that pulls both of you closer to the other one. Then try to heal the wound again."

I did as he asked. Though it didn't work; and I gave up. The cat just sat there playing with a ball of string completely ignoring me. "She won't help me." I screamed.

Very soon gentle hands were lifting me away from him. "Splinter, please. Just get Garrett out of here. Take him back to his room and let him rest."

Garrett just growled at her. Sparks of orange eyes looked at him. "I'll get him back to his cave I didn't mean to hit you with that too. It is just what Caius was asking me to do I refuse to do."

Garrett just shook his head at her. "I'll be fine" He transformed into his wolf snuggling up against me like a dog would have.

I looked around, and the chair where Caius had been sitting was empty. Down where the other vampires had been where just random body parts. "Where did he go?"

Fido laughed for a second. "He didn't like that Carm spoiled his fun. He also wasn't happy that Xavier and Noddy and Splinter all got a hold of the captive from last night earlier today."

I smiled at him. "Fido is a good name for you." That had everyone laughing, including Garrett. I could feel him under my hand. I glanced up meeting Carm's eyes for a long moment. "Garrett said you didn't have an area affect ability; how did you do that then?"

Carm smiled. "It is one I picked up in my really early days of being a vampire. I don't use it all that often, but Caius wanted us to each take part in torturing those vampires in front of you. I chose for everyone here to not force you to watch that. They were going to be killed anyway."

I nodded. "Thank you."

Splinter pulled me to my feet. "Come, you are staying in our wing of the palace. It is far too risky to take you back to the cave tonight. One of us will return with you at one point to get your things from there when it is safe to do so."

Garrett followed us out of the room though when we got to his door he stopped and pulled me towards his room.

A newcomer who was about the same height as Demetri and glasses with shoulder length brown hair came up hugging Carm kissing her neck. Garrett was still pulling on my cloak for me to follow him into his room.

This had to be one of the other two that I hadn't met yet. Though Carm seemed rather comfortable with him. He looked at Garrett with a smile, before releasing my cloak from his jaw, and patting him on the head. "Now now … little pup. He will be fine with us for tonight. You go back into your doghouse and leave him with the legends."

Garrett just growled at him bearing teeth and snapping at him. Problem was I didn't know how dangerous this vampire was, or I would have stepped in. The kitten inside me meowed and though it sounded like she was saying, 'we can take him' I still stalled a bit.

So, judging that this kitten was right I got between Garrett and this new vampire. Telling this little kitten that I hoped she knew what we were doing.

Trance laughed when I did this pulling his attention away from me and onto her long enough for me to push him away. By this point the kitten had managed to set off the signal same way it had the other day that brought every vampire to this location. I listened to the whispers around us trying to catch a name of the vampire who had attacked, it had to be one of the legends. 'Don't take in too much' the kitten warned 'focus on one, one that you know' I turned my eyes scanning the room for someone who could help me.

Carm, Splinter, and one other vampire I had yet to be introduced to still were standing by the far wall just watching everything happen. Benjamin was standing on the edge of this circle of vampires, I could see he wanted to help. Garrett behind was still a wolf and completely unable to help me at all. Marco, Jane and Alec were up at the top of the stairs just looking down on us. Torrent was just watching the two of us as if studying a fight same as my commanders in the army.

"Why can't I spend the night with him?" I pointed to Garrett.

The newcomer just laughed. "You'd rather be locked in a cage then sleep in a bed. I thought you were a vampire not a dog."

He turned his back on me slowly walking away before a noticed a hand on my shoulder. Looking up I seen Garrett was back in his human form. "I'll bring him to your wing by dinner time. I just wanted to talk to him. After all part of his training is going to be with me."

He just shrugged picking up his cloak going over to join Carm, kneeling before her. She ran her fingers through his hair before touching his chin with that he got up and followed her away from the circle. Everyone left except Torrent who walked towards us.

"I only want to speak to him for a minute. Why don't you go into your room and change. We won't move farther than the bench unless he requests it."

I nodded to Garrett who left me to go change in his room. "Who was that?"

Torrent laughed walking towards the benches bringing me along with him. "That was Xavier. Though I am sure you have other questions you are dying to ask besides that."

I nodded. "Why did he do that? Why did he react that way with Carm? What was that display during the thing in the room with Splinter, Alec, you and Garrett did? What happened with Carm's arms earlier, like why were they bleeding? Did anyone else get hit by the gift that Carm used in the room? Why does Garrett sleep in a closet?" I took a breath looking at him.

He laughed, "Is that all?"

I shook my head. "Where did Splinter and Alec take Carm when they left us? The guy we caught in the woods the one I trapped his leg was green how did that happen? What can Splinter actually do as a gift well what can the rest of the members of the legend do? And while I'm on that topic why are there 7 members of the legend when it says there are 6? Why didn't anyone help in the fight? What were you doing standing on the edge of the fight? Where did Trance go? How did everyone know what was happening out here? And why are you laughing at me?"

He stopped holding up his hands. "Forgive me, I swear I didn't mean to offend you. A lot of those questions we need to leave for Carm to answer, especially the ones about her, she would have my head if I tried to. There are actually 15 members of the legend of 6. Originally there were only 6 but since then it has grown. The wing of the palace where we sleep is the biggest and best, Carm and Marco have insisted on getting the best with what they are capable of."

He waved to someone. Garrett was coming out of his room in a pair of jeans and sweatshirt. He walked over to us making me feel jealous that he got to wear casual clothes, and I was stuck in this outfit every day. Torrent laughed for a second before covering his mouth.

I turned to glare at him. "Can you read minds too?" I asked him angrily

Garrett rushed over to us. "He can not read minds, he can however read eyes. He was the one who sent Splinter your way in the room. He was also the one who told Xavier to back off earlier when you would have gotten your butt kicked. He communicates with his eyes more than he can anything else which makes him very powerful."

Torrent bowed to Garrett. "Let Alec or Jane know when you are bringing him back to us. Though you said before dinner you know how late Carm and Marco eat."

He nodded to him before he walked away from us.

Charlie's POV

School itself was annoying Embry had been extremely clingy through the better part of the morning not allowing me to really even go to the bathroom alone. I did have a muffin and yogurt drink for snack between my first two periods as usual. When we got into Birkoff's classroom Kim was standing there talking to him. We greeted each other with a hug and got a few annoying comments from the local peanut gallery which had Embry almost going postal on her. I simply just pushed him towards our seats and ignored her.

Birkoff spent the first half of class explaining that we were going to be working on another assignment but due to a few issues with some pairs last time he was going to be assigning groups for this one. I was super glad when he said that me and Embry were going to be just working the two of us again as he handed back our assignment which we only got 99% on.

Embry glared at me with a laugh as we read the comment from Birkoff. 'The computer wont let me put 100 into it so I had to dock you one point.'

I smiled at him as we looked over the assignment for this week. We started to try and figure out with work schedules and different things when we could get together to get this thing done so we could be without class on Thursday and Friday maybe. When class was done, I walked up to Birkoff's desk just waiting for him there.

"You needed something Charlie?"

I nodded to him. "We are going grocery shopping again tonight, right?"

He nodded. "And Owen is coming with us. He is coming over for dinner as well. I have the list on my desk of things we are going to be picking up from the store if you wanted to add anything to it."

I just shook my head. "If I see something in the store that I like we will just get it. Ryan laughed at your whole list making thing and needing to stick to that." I thought for a second, as Jared landed at the door of the classroom. "Everything okay with Kim?"

Birkoff nodded. "I just needed to chat with Jared for a minute and I didn't know how to get a message to him."

Embry nodded. "Next time just text me, I'll get a message to him probably faster than Kim can."

Jared laughed for a second. "He probably can." As we were leaving, he grabbed my arm. "Any chance you'd be willing to hang tomorrow night after we have our meeting with Alex. Kim is at the doctor, and I get really antsy for those. So normally Sam makes me work but it seems to be the best time for the meeting so was hoping you and Embry could join Paul and I so we can all chat afterwards."

I nodded. "Sure, sounds like fun. Where did you want to do this?"

Birkoff coughed. "You are free to hang at our place. Work on schoolwork, play video games."

Jared laughed. "Only if we get to eat junk food?"

Embry shook his head. "Charlie doesn't eat that stuff, so I doubt there is much of it in the house. Besides I'm sure we will be needing to talk anyway about how the meeting went. And that way maybe we can get the answers to the other two questions you were supposed to have gotten on Sunday."

Jared nodded. "Sounds good. Now will you two leave so Birkoff and I can chat, so I get to at least get a single kiss with Kim before the lunch is over."

I just shook my head ang giggled. We left the room heading for my locker and then to Embry's locker. He had texted Quil and Jake for us to meet outside for lunch. There were picnic tables outside on the edge of the school property.

Though when we got outside neither one of them were there. Embry checked his phone thinking that one of them had managed to send him a message about being held up with something. He scratched his head. "That is odd. No message from either one of them."

I laughed for a second. "Maybe they grew paws and went running in the woods as little puppies." I smiled at him.

He just shook his head. "Sam would have texted if the schedule needed to be changed. Whatever has them held up they haven't been able to text about it."

I smiled to him. "So, Gym class we have a work period for people who haven't managed to complete the assignment, yet. Which we have and ours is handed in. History and Psychology I have tests in, and we get the work for the week. Also, I need to find out who cleaned off the table because my cards are all messed up and I had them completely sorted."

Embry smiled. "I can send out a mass text to everyone trying to find it out. Though I would probably guess it was Leah who did it."

I grabbed my lunch that I had been eating. "Speaking of Leah, I have to pass along a message to her from Ryan." I got up looking at Embry.

Embry just shook his head. "She left for work at the start of lunch. She came in for the morning to help John get his schoolwork and do his tests for classes and she got her work before leaving for the day. He is having trouble adjusting to the whole wolf thing." He pulled me back to him making me sit between his legs. "Anymore weird things happen with you lately?"

I turned around glaring at me. "Not since Sunday night. The whole thing of being told I'm someone's imprint and being told my really good friends are all werewolves."

He hung his head leaning his forehead against the back of my neck. "I didn't know how to tell you. You should have seen how mean everyone was being about it. Jake was laughing at me, though when his imprint's mother found out that he had done that to her she almost killed him. I knew it wasn't going to be like that. I just didn't know how you were going to react. Though you showing and sharing with us gave me the courage to share with you."

I smiled at him. "I'm glad it helped." I looked down at my hands. "Though this all still doesn't help me try and figure out what is going on with me."

Embry stood up. "Charlie, pack up your stuff we have company." His nose started to twitch as if he was smelling something bad. "Any chance you can pull select people out here?"

I nodded to him. "If I know them well enough. I mean I think."

He nodded. "Try for Paul and Jared, Jake, Sam, Quil and your brother."

I nodded pulling my kitten awake when she usually liked to sleep for the day. I concentrated on Paul he would be the easiest ones, probably the loudest too. I shut my eyes pulling him away from Rachel, they were at Jake's place for lunch. When I felt him coming, I turned to the school trying to pull Jared, but he wasn't as easy to find. I gave up, moving onto Jake and Quil trying to see if I could find them. I sent out the balls in every direction trying desperately to find someone. Wolves would chase kittens. That was a given, so when I hit something, I sprung the kitten out there before I had it racing back to me. When I opened my eyes to look around Embry smiled to me. Paul was getting there.

"You can hear howls in the woods." He let me know.

Paul came over looking really scared. "Everything alright?"

Embry shook his head, pointing at the woman standing by a car talking to the vice principal. "Take a whiff when the wind blows this way."

It only took a few seconds before that happened. "Charlie, you and Embry need to leave. Go into the school, get your work from your teachers and leave."

Paul pushed us towards the school. I just shook my head. "What pulled you here will follow me. The others won't come here."

He opened the door to his truck. "Then get in. Lock the doors."

Sam appeared minutes later looking all confused. Paul and Embry were talking to him outside when the rest of the pack showed up. Sam nodded walking over to the two women talking at the cars.

Jake's POV

(rewind)

I looked over at Quil. "Embry wants to meet us outside over lunch. But I have to go have a word with Mr. Mears before third period. He wanted to discuss what is happening with this meeting with Alex. I told him a decision had to be made today, or it was being called off."

Quil nodded. "Sounds good. It is supposed to be Leah, Sam and John out today anyways. Well Paul for the morning."

I smiled as I walked toward the teacher's lounge. This is where he had said he wanted to meet me before third period. When he walked out, he smiled. "I'm not going to make you late for class, am I?"

I shook my head. "Even if you did it wouldn't be a big deal. Quil has my back for this next class." We walked for the door leading outside. Just stepping out the door I got a unique stink of vampire. One was close like really close. I shut down that part of my brain and listened to Michael.

"Is there anyway we could do it tomorrow night?"

I thought for a second. "Kim would have to say okay to it. Though that should be too hard, it would have to be right after school and potentially would have allow Owen to be over next door so that Paul and Jared can finish asking the questions they were supposed to have asked on Sunday."

He nodded. "That is acceptable." He thought for a second. "You had mentioned that if I had managed to follow Charlie it wouldn't have ended well. What did you mean by that?"

I ran my hand through my hair. "I know Charlie seems like a sweet individual. But her temper is massive and very explosive. Add to that Embry being close it wouldn't have ended well. Both would have attacked and trust me, Birkoff wasn't lying when he commented about them being good at video games, they are that good at life. They can read each other's minds. It would almost seem like. Quil and I can beat them at games, but it takes our full concentration and us playing extremely dirty."

He nodded. "I understand. Oh, so you are the only group to have your written assignment into me. It was due on Friday and Ryan handed it to me on Thursday night. So let the other three know you aren't needed it class today. Class time was given, and I am still missing 6 projects."

I nodded. "I will let them know at lunch."

He went to walk back into the school. "You going to class?"

I nodded and smiled. "Just need to make a call first. Might go make it in the woods to have some privacy."

He smiled and walked back in. I sent a text off to Quil telling him to go get the work from the teacher and get out here. When he walked out, he glared at me then breathed in.

I nodded to him. "Yes, we have one close. I'm going to signal to Sam you ditch the stuff in your locker and lets go."

I did text Jared to tell him about tomorrow night and see if he could find something to do until Kim made it home from her doctor appointment. Before going and putting my phone in my locker after turning it off and meeting Quil back outside.

Sam's POV

(present)

I walked over to the two ladies talking at the car. I smiled at the vice principal as she introduced us.

"Oh Taylor, this is Mr. Ulley. He is the head of the reservation." She turned to me. "Sam, this is Taylor Scotts. The new guidance counsellor."

I nodded to her. "I didn't know we needed a new one."

She smiled at me. "Well with all the outsourcing to Sue Clearwater we were hoping that the students who went to see her wouldn't have to miss an entire morning or afternoon. I have given Charlie's name to her. We can set up a meeting appointment this week."

I shook my head. "I don't think that is a good idea."

Her nose wrinkled. She knew what I was. Or at the very least she knew I was a threat to her.

"But I am sure I can help Charlie. You see my parents were brutally murdered as well. I'm sure we would have plenty to talk about. She is at such a young age too, then having her entire world uprooted from under her feet. At least give her the choice." She tried to appeal to the VP.

I just shook my head. "We have just gotten her to attend her meetings with Sue. I don't want to go trying to change anything now."

Miss Keller smiled at me. "I am just asking for them to be introduced. If after that introduction Charlie chooses to still go and see Mrs. Clearwater than it is fine but at least do an introduction."

I huffed. "As you have stated her life has already been uprooted enough. She is going through a lot of changes. So, I would appreciate it if we don't force any more on her." I smiled for a second just thinking up the perfect idea. "Maybe after Christmas vacation is done, we can set something up. Give her a bit of time to settle in to what is happening in her life. Mr. Birkoff and Mr. Fletcher are doing an amazing job getting her to attend the meetings."

She smiled. "What about after school today, just 5 minutes?"

I shook my head. "I do believe she has a family activity tonight after school. And from what I have heard she has another one tomorrow after school."

Miss Keller smiled. "I will allow us to wait until after the Christmas vacation as long as I have your word that you will set up an introduction for Charlie to come and have a sit down with Miss Scotts within the first week at one point."

I nodded. "Of course." I smiled to the vampire. Walking back over to the pack who were all gathered around the truck. "She is a guidance counsellor." I turned to Charlie. "I know you hate the idea of talking to Sue but right now I need to at least start going to the appointments. Even if you do end up talking to Owen or Alex." I turned to Embry. "If we can prove she is going to them and at least talking. There won't have to be put what is being said. I will even allow you to attend with her, I'll chat with Sue about this myself today."

Charlie nodded. "She is what you are designed to kill isn't she?"

I nodded to her. "And we will we just can't do it out in the open."

Jake smiled to us. "We have a bit of time. Gym class we have been excused from because we were the only group to hand our project in. So, we get to skip the class. So, I say we go to the library and chat at least me, Embry, Charlie, and Quil."

Charlie nodded. Snagging Leah for a second. "Any chance you snapped a picture before you cleaned up my cards on the table Friday night?" she asked.

Leah nodded. "I completely forgot to send the picture to you. I'll head to Sam's and do it right now. I got about 4 pictures trying to get quarters of where everything was."

Charlie smiled. "Thanks. I was worried I was going to have to try and sort them all over again."

I shook my head. A vampire wanted to get her alone in a room and she is more worried about a psychology paper which is due at the end of the month. "I'll see most of you back at my place tonight for dinner." I turned to Charlie. "You are going grocery shopping?"

She nodded. "Then Ryan is picking us up subs for dinner and Owen is coming grocery shopping with us this time because I think him doing that would be so much fun."

I smiled, before taking off for the woods with Leah and John.

"Leah, head to the house so you don't forget. We will stick around the school and keep an eye on this new counsellor."

She nodded to me starting to run for the house. I had originally figured it was Charlie that pulled us all to the school. It was just this driving force for us to come here. I shook my head as John smiled at me. "It was her, wasn't it?"

He nodded. "She did it on Friday night. I felt something was up a good 30 seconds before we went inside the house."
