Yoruichi was in the kitchen preparing breakfast as usual when she heard one of the doors open up, and she couldn't help but smile as her son entered, dressed in his new school uniform, as today was the day that he was gonna start High School.

Now, Yoruichi had never seen herself as a Mother, but when Didi had placed him in her arms fifteen years ago, and he looked up at her with those yellow eyes that were just a shade different from her own? She had immediately fallen in love with him. Everything about Azrael was a shade different from her, his skin a tone dark, and his hair a bit more purple-blue than hers dark purple. But that was the other source influencing.

"Morning, Az," Yoruchi greeted him as she placed dinner on the table. "Excited for school?"

"I guess, but can't you put some clothes on, Mom?" He grumbled and pouted as he tried to avert his eyes from her body that was clad only in a sports bra and panties as she disliked wearing clothes at home. Though it was only recently he started complaining about her apparel, she could only guess it was because he was in the midst of puberty.

"Aw, does your Mother's hot bod bother you?" She asked as she pushed up her large breasts for emphasis.

"Why are you like this mom?" He asked.

"Because I like teasing people, Az, and you know this," She said as she took her own seat, and so Mother and son started eating breakfast together.

Though, that son came to an end as he did have school to attend.

"Tell me about your day when you come home," Yoruichi said as she gave him a kiss on the forehead.

"I, arghh," He was about to answer but let out a grunt of pain that immediately made her concerned as Yoruichi sensed his Reiatsu swell for a brief second.

"Are you okay, Azrael?" She asked concern, emphasizing that fact by not using her nickname.

"I am fine, Mom, just a minor headache; they have been happening on and off," He answered. "It's already gone."

"If you say so," She responded as he left the door of their apartment of now fifteen years; as nice as Kisuke's place was, Yoruichi wanted, at that point in time powerless son to be raised without knowing about the supernatural parts, of their world but that ignorant bliss was soon coming to an end as she could tell that his spiritual powers were starting to rapidly grow.

Meaning that the seal Didi had put on him at birth was starting to go away. Meaning that soon enough, he would be a target for Hollows, monsters, and all manner of beings who would want something like him as part of their group.

"Guess I am going to have the talk with him… well, him getting to High School before it happened was probably the best I could hope for," Yoruichi muttered as she started cleaning up, but thankfully, she wouldn't have to start fresh on his training as she had been training him physically under the guise of health, and having a hobby.

His collection of blades was a testament to the fact he was a Shihoin.

"I hope you can by soon, Didi," Yoruichi muttered to herself as she went about her day, but when she expected Azrael to be home she suddenly felt his Reiatsu rise until it suddenly vanished.

She dropped what she had been doing and immediately ran for where she had sensed him.

The park.

But she found… nothing.

"Azrael!" She called out. "Azrael!"

I didn't know why people made such a big deal out of the first day of High School; it didn't seem that different from Middle School at this point in time.

Though it could be improved if my current streak of migraines would vanish, but that didn't seem to be the case.

So, I would just have to deal with it and pick up some aspirin on the way home from school.

"First day, and it is already over," I heard Tatsuki say as we exited Karakura High School together.

"I mean, that is how time works," I replied.

"I think it went rather slowly," Orihime added, the very endowed girl walking between the two of us.

"That is because you kept looking at the clock the entire, hurgh," I said as another flash of pain went through my head.

"Azrael, you okay?" Tatsuki asked in concern as my childhood friend looked at me in concern.

"Yeah, you've been looking very pained the whole day," Orihime added.

"I am fine; I've just been having flashes migraines for the past few days," I replied.

"And that is very serious," Tatsuki stated. "Did you hit your head during sparing?"

"No," I answered.

"When you should go home and rest, and if it persists to tomorrow, you need to go see a doctor, I know a place," Orihime said.

"The Kurosakis?" I asked for confirmation.

"Yeah, Ichigo's family runs one," Tatsuki said.

"Well, if it persists, I will go to them," I said.

"You better," Tatsuki replied as the three of us walked together for a bit until we had to part ways; as all three of us lived in three different parts of the city, and so we split at the park, with Tatsuki having to go left, Orihime right, and my place was just straight on the other side of the park so I could just go straight through.

But as I walked through the park, I felt another migraine pierce my head, but this one was sharper than previously, I clutched my head as I felt like my brain was about to explode out of my skull, and at the same time, it felt like my heart was about to pop out of my chest as well.

"…" I screamed in wordless pain as I felt like I exploded and…

I… Remembered.

I remembered a previous life, one where…

"Urghh," I groaned as the rush of memories came surging into my head, but at least I didn't feel like a pike was being shoved through my brain. "Fuck… that was not… urgh a pleasant experience." I groaned as I got back up on my feet, having apparently fallen down to my knees during the experience.

"What power." And immediately, I felt my heart stop as I heard the multilayered voice behind me, and I instantly knew what it was without having to turn around. "You shall fill me and stop the pain!"

A Hollow.

I started sprinting, my legs carrying me as fast as I could as I tried to run, but I just heard roaring and the sound of heavy and rapid stomping on the ground as I was being chased by a vengeful spirit.

Mom, Uncle Kisuke, help! I mentally shouted as I ran from the monster that was gonna eat me, eat my soul, but it no matter how fast I ran, it was right behind me, like it could catch me at any second but was not doing so because it wanted the thrill of a hunt.

It felt like an eternity had passed, but only a few seconds had in reality as my demise felt like it was coming closer by the millisecond.

I was…

I was gonna die.

I didn't want to die.

I wanted to live.

I wanted to be with my mother, and my friends; I needed to leave.

With desperation and instincts fuelling my body, I made a tearing motion with my hand(a black light covering it), and before me, a black void opened up, and I fell in, the Hollow behind me following right in as we both fell through the void and…

No, this was not right… this was too early; he was not ready yet, it was not ready yet, but even so, its Master needed help, or he would die. Its undefined existence pierced through to the surface, assisted by its other half, and took control of its Master's body. The world shattered into death and moved a hand to pierce the Hollow and, with its other half absorbed the being at the center for it would be used to help define its existence as its Master's blade.

But he could not stay, so it used the power Master had called upon before to open another rift, but it did not know where it would in the many realms that existed around it.

But Master would be safe for now, as now it would need to start forging just as it had been instructed to by Mistress at the birth of Master's existence.

My eyes shot open as I woke from a dream I had many times of a woman holding me, but as usual, I did not remember what the words she spoke and-

"Did I… get away?" I asked as I remembered the last thing that had happened before I had seemingly gone unconscious from… doing whatever I had seemingly just done to get away from the Hollow as I was clearly still outside in… "Sand?" I asked in shock.

Shit, I better not be in Hueco Mundo. I thought for a brief second before it clicked I was being bathed in the heat of the… "What the fuck is wrong with the sun?"

The cartoonish sun that hung in the sky as it seemingly laughed at my words.

"Well fuck." I said out loud as it looked like I was in some weird ass desert in the middle of nowhere. "Dying to heat stroke it is then…"
