80. Holidays and Heartbreak PART 2

Clark didn't hear again from Thea for the last 2 hours, so he decided to go look for her. She was clearly horrified and scared, and he wanted to find a way so he could help her. He saw her at the park, near the lake, sat next to a tree all alone. He could notice she has been crying and slowly approached her. Thea turned and saw him staring worried at her. She cleaned the tears from her face and stood up.

- You shouldn't be here… - She said.

- I was worried about you.

- I appreciate that, but… I'm sorry you had to see that…

- Hey, it's ok…

- No, it isn't! I thought I was free of that, that I could have a normal life but I was clearly wrong!

- Listen, I won't pressure you to tell me what's going on, if you don't want to. But… - He said as he reached for her hand – If you want to talk, I'm here to listen.

Thea stared at him, half smiling. She rubbed her hands together and took a deep breath, feeling like it was getting harder and harder to breathe.

- I died… A few years ago and my brother took me to this place, ancient place, they had a pit called Lazarus pit, and its waters were sort of… Magical.

- They can bring someone back to life at the cost of their soul?

- Yes. How do you know?

- Before our Earths merged, I've heard about a place like this but they were considered myths.

- Well, they were pretty real and it brought me back to life, but I ended up with this violent bloodlust, from time to time it felt like torture and my psychopath dad told me that I had to kill for it to go away and he arranged people for me to kill… God, I'll hate him forever for that.

- I'm sorry you had to go through all of this – His said with genuine care, something that took Thea by surprise.

- You're not disgusted or horrified…

- I don't think everything is just black and white. You are a good person that was put in a horrible situation and it came with consequences you couldn't foresee.

- My dad put me in this situation, I'll never forgive him. And I thought I was free of that, I didn't feel like wanting to kill people until I heard you saying that meta was attacking the girls… I lost it, I have no idea what came over me and I just became this monster searching for blood… I'm really sorry you had to see that…

- Thea, I've dealt with monsters for a long time, you are far away from being one. You care; you help your brother to protect your city. We all have good and bad inside us, we live in constant struggle and at the end of the day, it's all about the choice we make every day. You chose to help and protect people, but you have this horrible thing that happened to you and it came with side effects. The fact you care enough to try to hold back and try to find a solution and fight this feeling, it says a lot about you. I've met people that in your position chose not to care. At the end of the day, it's all about our choices.

- I don't deserve you in my life, you're just too nice and too good to be true – Thea said bluntly, blushing right away. – I'm sorry, is just that I've never met someone that pure of heart…well, except Kara… I guess it runs in the family – She said, finally able to stop her tears from falling.

- I'm just telling the truth about what I see. – He smiled, accepting her hug, feeling like she really needed it. – And I'm sure someone in the team will be able to help, wwe have the smartest minds teaming up with us… And I will help you to find this solution, you'll be 100% free of that, You'll see.

Thea rested her head on his chest, hugging him tight, she really needed it. She smiled, hearing each one of his words, feeling incredibly calm and relaxed. Clark definitely had a powerful aura, able to lift any spirit and an amazing hug.

- Thank you… God, I'm so embarrassed…

- Please, don't be… This is part of life, challenges are part of life. We can't beat ourselves over things we can't control… It took me a long time to learn this, but when I learned it, everything made so much sense. We think we can control everything all the time, and time and time again, we are proved wrong and once we learn to take the weight of the world out of our shoulders, everything changes. It's something liberating to learn in life.

Thea was about to let go of Clark when she started to feel dizzy. Clark held her in his arms as she tried to say something, but fainted. Clark didn't think twice, and flew with Thea as fast as he could back to Star Labs.

- What happened? – Caitlin asked as she saw Clark rush in with Thea.

- We were looking for Christmas decorations when I heard a meta attacking some girls, we rushed there, Thea felt her bloodlust coming back, she fought the meta and after it passed, we were talking and then she felt dizzy and fainted.

- Do you know what power the meta had? Maybe something he did affected her…

- For what I could see, it seemed like he was hypnotizing her.

- Did it have any effect on you?

- No… Not at all.

Clark put Thea lay on the med bay and stepped aside to let Caitlin work. Lena arrived and rushed into the med bay as soon as she saw Thea unconscious on the bed.

- What happened? Is she ok?

- She'll be fine as soon as we find out more… Can you help me? – Caitlin started to make some tests and Lena rushed to help.

While Caitlin updated Lena about what happened to Thea, Clark watched them work, and worried it could be something serious. He stood the entire time by their side until Cailtin got the results of all the tests back.

- Thank God is nothing serious… She suffered a psychic attack, it messed with some of her brain cells, it was like she got electrocuted and shut down. Gladly, we were able to reverse it, so she will come back to her senses soon.

- Thank you, Caitlin and Lena – Clark said as he hugged both of them. – And listen…do you think there's anything we can do about this bloodlust of hers?

- Do you know how it works? Thea or Oliver never mentioned it before, so I don't know everything about it yet. – Caitlin said.

- She told me she died and Oliver brought her to this place called Lazarus Pit… She came back to life but with this bloodlust.

- Didn't Sara go through the same thing? – Lena asked – Kara told me once, about how she also came back to life…

- But Sara came back after almost a whole year being dead, the cost was way higher. Thea spent not even 24 hours dead… I'll ask anyways, maybe there's something we can come up with to help Thea.

- I might have something able to help too… - Lena said – When Lex was arrested, I was able to get my hands on his researches and studies about aliens and mysticism, I'm sure something there could help us… What's the name of the place where this Pit is?

- Nanda Parbat… Something like that – Caitlin said.

- Thank you, guys. – Clark smiled, sitting on the chair next to Thea. – I'm sure we'll find something to help her.

Kara went back to Star Labs after saving kids from a lunatic in the Ferris wheel at the park dowtown Star City, to help him with another rogue meta since everyone else was unavailable but her head was just spinning nonstop. She spent a long time thinking about the promise she made Oliver, to stoop by his bunker to talk and she felt deeply torn inside. She knew she was being unfair with him because he tried to talk to her, maybe explain things or something like that, and she wasn't in the mood to hear excuses or whatever he had to tell her, because she was hurt. Maybe he knew, maybe he didn't, but she didn't want to risk telling him something she would regret later, so she avoided him for a while until she felt like she could be rational enough to listen and speak her mind and on the other hand, she wondered if she needed to hear what he had to say because after everything that happened, after what she saw, Oliver didn't reach for her, not even once to catch up so she assumed he moved on. She was really scared to open her heart again to someone and get hurt and that was exactly what happened. She understood that in her life, there was only room for her to be Supergirl, just like she suspected before.

She was lost in her thoughts, training alone in a room in Star Labs before heading back to Star City to meet Oliver, she needed to let go of her anger before facing Oliver and listening to what he had to tell her. Ray knocked on the door and waved at her, smiling.

- Hey… Were you training alone?

- Yes, I needed to – She said, coming near the door – Is everything ok?

- Yes, I was actually bringing my suit for Cisco to check it out, I had a few issues with it last week and was going to grab a donut or something… Do you want to come? You know what they say, sugar makes everything better.

- I'm not sure if they say this, but I see no lies – Kara laughed – Sure, let's go.

Kara bought a full box of donuts while Ray held two in his hands. They sat outside the store at a table and Ray looked impressed at the box Kara started to open.

- I've seen Barry eating, but I don't think anyone can top you – He joked, making Kara laugh

- Well, I am an alien, so… - She whispered, laughing along.

Kara ate, still thiking about later, already feeling anxious about it. Ray could tell something was off and stared worried at Kara.

- I can't help but feeling that something's bothering you…

- Sort of…

- Do you want to share?

Kara thought about it for a while.

- Tell me something… Have you ever been in a situation that you thought it was going somewhere but then you found out things weren't exactly what you thought they were? Like, you get disappointed but you feel like the other person is not actually aware of things?

- All the time.

Kara wasn't expecting this type of honesty from Ray.

- Before Oliver dated Felicity, I was dating her… We had so much in common, we really liked each other, but… I guess I knew deep down that it wasn't meant to be because she never stopped loving him. He wasn't available, so she accepted me but as soon as he was available, she just ran back to him. It's ok, I don't resent her, because dealing with the heart is not an easy task and we can't control who we will love or not… She made her choice and I went on an adventure of a lifetime…

- Weren't you disappointed?

- At first, yes. But something amazing happened to me, so I guess it was meant to be, for things to happen as they did. It happened again by the way…

- What? How? – Kara looked incredulous at Ray as she gave a big bite at her second donut.

- I fell in love with the reincarnation of an Egyptian High Priestess who was destined to find love with the reincarnation of an Egyptian Prince, only to die with him and reincarnate and repeat the process all over again. We broke thys circle by getting rid of the immortal bad guy who was destined to kill them both, so they live happily ever after now. I guess I have a thing for emotional and physicall unavailable women.

Kara stared at Ray with a mix of shock and surprise, and that wasn't even the craziest thin she has ever heard in life.

- I thought I had a complicated love life… - She said, still in awe – So… How did you deal? With all of that?

- I accepted it wasn't meant to be and moved on with my life. Like I said, I had so many great things in life, all because those two relationships didn't work… I didn't take it as the end of the world. I tried to find love once or twice, but I finally understood that when the time was right, the right person would show up and everything would work out…

- You have a really healthy way of dealing with things, that's for sure.

- If you don't mind me asking… Why do you ask? Are you going through something similar?

- Who, me? No…not like that, I was just…curious – She said finishing her 3rd donut – About how people in general deal with things that maybe aren't meant to be… Not everyone sees things the same way, maybe one person is just fooling themselves into believing that something's meant to be when it actually isn't… and maybe people forget to warn them that things aren't exactly what they seem to be… You know? I just wondered if it was something many people could agree with, or if people have different perspective of things…

- I'm not sure I understand exactly your point here, but I'll say it anyways. The most important thing someone can do is talk. Say what they fell, let things clear. If Felicity or Kendra had done that, it would spare me a lot of time and energy… It's not fair when people aren't completely honest about their feelings, their motives… So I guess the answer you're looking for is there: in talking. Expressing exactly what you feel, what's going on…

- It makes sense…- Kara says as she thought about everything Ray told her. She stopped for a moment to think about the fact that she got hurt to think about why that happened and indeed, Ray was right. – Thanks for the insight. – Kara looked at the watch and started to get up – I have to go now, I have some things to do, but thanks for the talk. You are really wise, Ray, don't ever change – She smiled giving Ray a hug.

- You're welcome, and if you ever need to talk, I don't know… aboiut anything, I'm here.

- Thanks – Kara said while they finished paying for the donuts.

Kara rushed to leave and as soon as she was sure no one was watching, she user super speed to get to Star City, feeling a bit nervous and thinking about many different scenarios of what could happen.

Back in Star Labs, Thea slowly woke up, feeling like she had a lot of anesthesia, completely confused. She stared at her side just to see Clark sat at the chair by the side of the bed, fully asleep. She smiled, thinking how nice it was of him to keep her company. She could barely remember what happened, but she knew he was with her the entire time and it made her feel warmth inside. Clark slowly opened his eyes, feeling relief as he saw Thea awake.

- Hey, how are you feeling? – He said with worry in his voice, adjusting on the chair and reaching for her hand. Thea let him hold it and smiled.

- I feel like a truck ran over me, but in general I'm ok… What are you doing here?

- I couldn't go back to National City, leaving you here… You fainted in my arms after that meta messed with your head, Caitlin told me it was probably side effect of his attack, so I decided to stay here just in case…

- Did you warn Oliver?

- Caitlin sent him a message, he stopped by and I told him what happened. He didn't want to go home but Caitlin insisted and showed him you were ok and recovering. He stood here until 5 minutes ago when Diggle called him, but he said he'll be back in the morning in case you need to stay overnight.

- Ok – She said – You didn't have to… sleep here, I mean.

- It's ok, I've had worst sleeps in life – He teased, making her laugh

Caitlin walked in with a bunch of papers in her hand and Clark got up.

- I have good news. You're completely fine and can go home now. – She showed the papers to Clark and he gave them to Thea after taking a look. – All your tests came back ok, it was just a psychic attack as I thought, your body shut down to recover but now, you're completely ok.

- Thank God! – Thea said, getting up from the bed – Thank you for everything.

- I didn't work alone, Lena helped a lot. She sent her best wishes, she had to run back to National City, she'll stop by to check on you tomorrow, I'll tell her you were discharged.

- Great – Thea said as she turned to Clark – Maybe we can finish our Christmas shopping tomorrow? I really need my bed now – She said

- That's fine by me. C'mon, I'll take you home. – Clark reached for her hand and she held it, after hugging Caitlin.

As they walked away, Caitlin kept staring with a huge smile on her face.

- They're cute… - She said as she turned around to clean the med bay.

Clark took Thea to his truck parked in Star Labs garage, since she wasn't in the mood to fly and drove to Star City, to the apartment Thea shared with Oliver. Thea told him Oliver was trying to convince her to move with him back to the mansion now he got it back, but she really liked the apartment. It was the place she bought with her dad's money on purpose; it had a nice taste of victory in that. After a while they finally got there and they stopped at her door.

- So… - He said

- So… Hey, do you want to come in? We could watch movies and share bad family experiences – She teased, feeling a bit nervous and bold at the same time. It was something that just crossed her mind, she wasn't planning on inviting him, but now it seemed a good idea.

The truth is that she didn't want to say good bye now, she found out she really enjoyed his company and he was also not that hard to stare at, so there was that.

- Are you sure you're ok? I don't want to intrude or anything…

- Stop it – She teased, holding his hand – You're a joy to hang out with, so stop it – She said, making him laugh. – You're always welcomed here, silly.

- Ok – He smiled following her inside.

They sat beside each other at the couch and Thea put some movie in but they were barely paying any attention to it, as they talked about their lives and experiences.

- That's impossible! – Thea said in awe – This is just not possible!

- Why not? – Clark laughed

- There's no way a guy would just invite his high school crush to the prom, make it magical to her and just give goodnight kiss. Most of the guys I knew couldn't wait to get into their pants!

- There are a few of us that are not like most guys, I guess. – He blushed, making Thea laugh.

- Ok, that's cute.. I mean – Thea said after she noticed his reaction, feeling a bit nervous

- Ok, so you think I'm cute

- Stop it – Thea laughed, playfully slapping his arm – Ok maybe… a little.

- Fine by me – He teased, making her laugh. She stared at her phone, noticing a new message from Oliver. – Just a minute. – She texted him back, saying she was more than ok and catching up with Clark, watching a movie. He asked her if she was sure she was ok and if she didn't want him to stop by, but she told him she was more than sure and there was no need of that. Oliver finally got the message and just sent her a "behave", which made Thea laugh – My brother being my brother…

- Is everything ok?

- Yes, he just wanted to make sure I was ok, I told him I'm fine… I'm in great company

She smiled, noticing Clark blushing.

- I see you and Kara, the way you are close… I'm like that with my brother but that's it. Were you close to the rest of your family?

- Yes. I mean, when I fell on Earth with my pod, after Krypton exploded, Jonathan and Martha Kent found me, and I couldn't have better foster parents even if I wanted to. They were the best…

- Do you remember? Your home planet?

Thea asked not sure if he would like to talk about it, it seemed like such a traumatic experience, but she really wanted to know because he seemed so chill and calm, and he was such a good person even with all the power he had, she was curious how someone with such a tragic past like him could become this cute, amazing nice guy seated in front of her.

- Not really. I was just a little baby when my parents sent me to Earth. Everything I know, Kara told me.

- Tha's so crazy… she's older than you right?

- Yes, she was… But her pod was stuck in the Phantom Zone and time works different there, so she spent 24 years as a 14 years old. When she got to Earth I was already an adult.

- Whoa, that's really crazy. – Thea was deeply invested in his life story – I'm sorry if this feels like an interview, I swear it isn't – Thea teased, making Clark laugh – It's just…so fascinating… And so different than what I've seen in life.

- How different?

Thea fully turned to face Clark, completely ignoring the TV at this point. She looked down thinking about how to answer and how to put into words what was going through her head.

- I grew up in a dark city, full of crime, full of people suffering, surrounded by criminals and everything bad you can imagine. I was at school when I lost my dad, at least the guy I thought that was my real dead and Oliver. My mom married again, and things changed at home. Five years later my brother came back home completely different, cold, distant and that was because he was the crazy hooded vigilante that showed up in town and no one knew. And then, I found out my dad was actually a psychopath that murdered many people and he trained me because I was always in constant danger and I was so tired of it all. Then, he basically caused my death so he could bribe Oliver into helping him, the whole bloodlust thing happened, I was constantly surrounded by darkness and I didn't think it was possible for me to feel light, and just have fun and live happy. My mom was murdered in front of me and… I don't know, I was just so tired… I didn't think it was possible for me to be happy but then we met you guys, and even if things were crazy, I don't know, we had a good time fighting together and… I'm sorry; this conversation became really heavy…

- No, that's ok – Clark said – Your experiences are important, it made you who you are… bad or good, everything we go through life shapes us and makes us who we are…

- The thing is… I was wondering about the details of your life because I have to be honest, I never had met anyone like you and Kara. You guys are like a walking ray of sunshine – She said, making Clark laugh – I'm serious… And I can see you have been through a lot but you guys still keep hopeful and taking care of everyone… I was curious because before meeting you guys, I didn't think it was possible. And… I wish I could move on, forget everything and just live life, be happy…

Clark heard every single word of hers, like putting pieces of a puzzle together. A lot of things made sense now he was learning more about her life and Oliver's and he started to think about everything she said.

- You can.

Thea looked incredulous at him.

- I'm serious. Listen, I believe that nothing happens without a good reason for it. Everything in life has a purpose. When Kara and I came to Earth, she told me that her parents warned her that we would have powers beyond any imagination under the Yellow Sun, that we would be symbols of hope for humanity, that we would be light where there was darkness. Only when I grew up, and understood that I was given these powers for a reason, that I could make a difference, I understood what they said. We are not defined by the things that happen to us that aren't under our control; we are defined by the choices we make even in the most difficult moments. So we have all of these powers, we can make a difference, we can help people in need, but most of all, we can inspire and give hope to people, because if we don't believe it's possible, that things will be ok, who will? If we are here for a reason, and we have these powers for a reason, what's the point if we don't believe and don't have hope? I'm sorry you went through so much pain in your life, nobody should had gone through what you've been through, but look, you are the person you are today, you have your values, your point of view, the good heart you have, because of that. It seems silly and cliché, but it's true. And you're able to use your abilities, everything you learned, to help your city, protect innocent people, and make a difference. Sometimes we come from a place of darkness but all of hardships turn us into light so we can shine it on other people. Never forget that

Thea stared mesmerized at Clark, not knowing what to say after that. She felt her heart starting to race and she felt more warmth inside, more than before. She fught a tear that insisted coming down her face, Clark saw it and came a little closer, using his finger to slightly clear the tear from her cheek.

- Meeting you and hanging out these last few days, it brought some light in my life… I've been through some bad things lately, lost people I cared about… I didn't know I needed some time away, until now and it helped me a lot. – He reached for her hand, caressing it – So thank you.

- You're welcome – Thea teased, making him laugh, his face coming a bit closer

- I'm serious. – He said as his eyes wondered from her eyes to her lips. – You're truly special, Thea Queen.

- God, I could keep staring at your eyes the entire day – She let it escape from her mouth, not thinking before it, blushing – Just… - She approached her lips from his giving a soft kiss – beautiful

Clark responded the kiss slowly, reaching for her cheeks, caressing them

- I'm sorry – Thea said as she broke the kiss apart, covering her lips with her hands and blushing.

- Its ok – He said, holding her hands - If you didn't do it, I would – He smiled, earning a huge smile back.

He closed the space between them, kissing her and taking his time to enjoy each second of it, as she practically melted into his arms, kissing him back.

Oliver got the news that Thea got discharged from Star Labs and that Clark took her home and for some reason, he had a feeling that he should just give them some space, it was more than clear to him that Clark cared about his sister, which reminded him to have a nice chat with him later, but deep down he was happy to see that his sister was in great company, especially after her last message. He fixed the collar of his dark brown jacket, got to the bunker and couldn't hide his surprise after seeing Kara there, with her classic ponytail, a light pink tank top, adjusting the edge of her skirt as if she was really nervous.

- You came… - Oliver said in a neutral voice. He wasn't sure if he should shake her hands, wave, do nothing. Seeing her, not angry at him right away, messed with his brain.

- Of course I came, I gave you my word… - Kara said

She wasn't sure if she would be able to hold back the things she wanted to tell him, but he was the one trying to talk to her for a while now, she felt like she should let him start. They stared at each other, and she just felt like not able to hold back anymore.

- Did you regret it? – She asked, staring deeply into his eyes – What happened… Between us?

- No. – Oliver said holding her gaze – Why would I?

- I don't Oliver, it felt like it… Not that is my place to wonder those things, we were not together, it was something that just happened but…

- What? How it felt like it?

- I saw you…

Oliver stopped to think what Kara was talking about because he was really confused.

- I need you to be more specific, because I have no idea what you're talking about, I swear.

- I saw you and Susan…

- When? I never…

Oliver tried to remember what Kara was talking about because he was sure he never did anything with Susan until he stopped and then it came to his mind.

Oh my God, he thought.

- Listen, I'm not sure about what I feel right now, sometimes I feel like I'm such an idiot because I thought for one second you cared about me, but deep down its ok, because you are a free person, you can go out and kiss whoever you want, it's none of my business… I actually don't know why I'm telling you all of this…

- Kara! – Oliver said as he took a few steps closer – I think I owe you an apology.

Kara stopped abruptly and stared serious at him.

- I should have gone after you right after you left the next morning…

- But it didn't happen, I wasn't sure...

- We couldn't catch a break.

- I know, that's not my point – Kara said – I know we have complicated lives and we had a night together, neither of us knew what it meant… We also never had the time to figure it out, I know. But, the moment I was able to, I came looking for you, I wanted to talk to you about it.

Oliver stood staring at Kara in shock. He had no idea.

- That's how I saw you two… and I'm sorry, but her? – Kara said, crossing her arms – She's an awful person, she loves to humiliate people, she stalks and is so inappropriate to get what she wants, she has no ethic, she's an awful journalist…I tried to be nice to her but everything she did… And you knew it! I told you! It hurt coming to your office just to see you were kissing such an awful person, you… you deserve better than that

- I didn't know…

- Of course you didn't, I decided to move on with my life because if you wanted to date her, you could, I would never understand why, but still... So, that's what you wanted? To apologize? Apology accepted, but I don't know if…

- Kara, I wasn't apologizing because of that. And you need to know what actually happened. Yes, Susan came into my office, insisting I would help her get an interview with the Green Arrow. Of course I wouldn't do that. I spent weeks dreaming about that night, it still haunts me to this day but for a moment I thought you moved on. I apologized because I shouldn't have thought that, I should have gone after you. That kiss with Susan meant nothing, I don't like her. Yes, she kissed me but I never kissed her back.

Kara stood in front of Oliver, staring deeply into his eyes. She could heart his heartbeat, his breathing, she knew he wasn't lying.

- I'm sorry if I ever hurt you, I never intended to and my only mistake was not looking for you to tell you how I felt...And to know how you felt, because I was sure it was one sided… I still don't know…

Oliver took final step closer, standing inches from Kara.

- So I'm sorry I gave you the impression that it meant nothing to me… Because it did. And I just want to know: Do you regret it? Did it mean anything to you?

- I… I feel a bunch of things inside, but no I don't regret it. – She said staring serious at him, trying hard not to look at his lips. – And yes. It did. I didn't understand at first, but now… I do.

Oliver nodded with his head. He wasn't sure about how she felt, he understood why she felt hurt, but he needed to know everything, all she was clearly trying to avoid.

- One last thing. – He said, giving one step forward, forcing her to walk slowly backwards until her back rested on the wall. – You told me your reasons to dislike Susan, but you weren't hurt and got pissed because you think I deserve better… Were you jealous?

- Jealous? She's awful… I, pfft… Why would I be jealous?

- Were you jealous? – She said it again, knowing she wouldn't be able to escape this time.

- Oliver, as I said… You are free to do whatever you want…

- Good!

Oliver grabbed her by the waist, lifting and holding thight one of her legs up as his lips crashed into hers, taking her fully by surprise. He felt her slowly kissing him back; giving into the sensations she was feeling at that moment. He broke the kiss apart as they both tried to catch their breaths, his forehead touching hers.

- That's the only thing I wanted to do since that night, Kara. You told me I was free to do whatever I wanted… - Her leg went slowly down his legs as she grabbed the collar of his jacket, bringing his body closer to hers. She went for a kiss, but he turned his face to the side, going for her neck until he reached the tip of her ear. – Where you jealous?

- I… – She said, closing her eyes and trying to keep her self control, something she was finding really hard to do.

She grabbed the hair on his neck – I don't… – She said trying to catch her breath as she felt his hand going slowly up her legs, to her tights.

- Kara… - Oliver whispered – Look at me – He said, touching her chin, making her stare at him. He could see in her eyes the same thing he had in his eyes: pure want. His other hand held thight one of her legs – Were you jealous? – He said as his hands started to go slowly under her skirt.

He was determined to have his answer no matter what, but he also wasn't going to make things easy for her, he was sure of that. It took all he had to be able to control his instincts, but he needed to know. He poured his heart to her, he made things clear, and he was letting her know he wanted only her but he had to know what she wanted, how she felt.

Kara couldn't form a coherent thought; she was trying to assimilate what was happening while she managed to regain some self control. He could feel her hips moving slowly against his, but he needed to hear from her, how she felt, he wasn't goin to give in that easy. He knew she felt hurt, because after the night they had, she felt he didn't care and moved on. He knew she hated Susan, but he didn't know if she wanted him, if she was falling in love with him like he was falling for her. He had enough one night stands in his life, temporary relationships that were just about pleasure and nothing more. He needed to know what she truly felt one way or another.

- I need to know – He whispered as his lips went to her neck, teasing as he grabbed the edge of her tank and one of his hands went up her abs, underneath it, his fingers caressing it slowly, barely touching her skin and giving her chills.

- I'm… not…sure – Kara whispered.

He knew she was lying. His body trapped her against the wall and one of his hands went down her legs, lifting her skirt up until he stopped, teasing her. He barely touched her, scratching slowly over the fabric of her underwear.

- I want you – He whispered in a rusky voice as he tried hard to contain himself – And I can see you want me. - He added a bit more of pressure, intentionally driving her crazy and he felt her hands grabbing strongly his hair as she stared deeply into his eyes. – But I won't give you what you want… - His fingers reached her lips, contouring her face, his lips barely scratching the skin of her neck and she was sure she would dream about that small torture for weeks. – Until you tell me: were you jealous?

- Yes – She said.

- What do you feel about me? – He asked as her hands went to his back, and he allowed her get rid of his shirt as she felt his muscles contracting with her touch. His fingers touched her cheeks, making a trail to her chin, neck, cleavage; chest over her tank top, adding a small pressure on purpose, and down her abs. He could felt the air thickening around them.

- Is not a hard question to answer – He whispered to her ear. – The last time we jumped each others bones and I'm tired of that. – He gave her a few kisses down her neck – All I can think about is you, since that night. – He whispered, kissing her collarbone, down her cleavage.

One of is hands rested on the wall next to her face and his other hand went up her legs, going back under her skirt, his hands going up slowly underneath her underwear., barely touching her still. He stared deeply into her eyes, holding her gaze as he whispered.

- I need to know how you feel… - His fingers brushed slightly her intimate soft skin and he could feel her small tremble. – Is not a hard question. Tell me the truth, and I'm yours.

- I… - Kara's breath was becoming erratic, she wanted to answer but she was finding it really hard to form a coherent sentence. Her hands went to his shoulders, going to the back of his neck, holding on him because she felt like her legs would give up on her any minute. She could feel her heartbeat increasing, his fingers slightly touching her skin. – I'm… in l… Rao, this is…torture.

She was about to finish her sentence when she felt Oliver's rough fingers all over. She bit his neck in response, earning a hiss from him, breathing erratically near his ear between a few moans, losing all control she had left while her hand made a mess of his hair. She started trembling as he suddenly stopped. He could feel her hips moving slowly against his hand in frustration.

- You're what? – He whispered, his tongue exploring her neck and the base of her ear. He could feel her starting to tremble again as she held tight on him while his fingers slightly brushed her skin, teasing her.

- Ollie.. – She cried in his ear, making him involuntarily pinch her bundle of nerves, earning a loud moan from her

- What do you feel Kara? – He stopped again, sensing her frustration.

She tried to whisper something between soft moans and delirious cries as she felt his soft massages slowly increasing his pace. Her hips moved slowly in sync with his movements.

- I…

Kara stopped abruptly, making Oliver stare confused at her.

- I heard someone… - She said, trying to regain her self control - Its Diggle, he's coming down. – She whispered in a hurry, making Oliver jump in scare too.

What happened next made Oliver's brain practically spin because he never felt so dizzy in his life before. Kara used her super speed to help Oliver get dressed, adjusted her clothes and flew away in a matter of seconds. Oliver tried to understand what happened, stay calm, and look cool, so he went to the dummie they used to train and started punching it really hard. He really needed it.

Diggle came down and stared at him.

- It's everything ok?

- Yes… I was just training

- That's why you didn't hear your phone…But that's ok, we took care of it, Barry and Ray helped

- Great! – Oliver said as he stopped hitting the dummie. – I'll go home, then..

- Are you sure you're ok?

- Yes, I'm great! – Oliver smiled and grabbed his jacket, leaving the bunker.

Diggle stood there, really confused.

- He is smiling now… That's new!

As soon as Oliver reached the door and closed it behind him, he rested his back on it, taking a few deep breaths.

– I really need a cold shower – He whispered to himself and went home
