I wanted to get these chapters out, because I'm not gonna have time to post for a little bit, due to me moving. but once I'm settled, the story will continue.

Garrett and William had come back from the college a day early, since the whole trip had been a disaster.

Garrett and William were currently stopped at his old work, to get a late breakfast, while talking about the previous night's events.

William couldn't reply since he had no idea what kind of stress Superhero's dealt with, and started eating his own food while Garrett got out of the car.

William quickly swallowed and asked, "Where are you going?"

Garrett shut the door and leaned in the window saying, "I need to talk to someone, are you going to be okay?"

William nodded saying, "yeah, I'll be fine. But who are you going to see?"

Garrett said, "Superhero stuff, you wouldn't understand."

William nodded again, agreeing with his friend saying, "gotch ya." As Garrett found a spot to take off and fly to his destination.

Garrett began flying towards his and Anissa training ground while grabbing his phone.

After the incident at the school, Garrett was beginning to suspect Cecil was up to something. While he understood his boss's explanation of the incident, it was still suspicious, for how long it took them to respond, and for then showing up right at the perfect moment.

This caused Garrett to think, that having Anissa and Eve meet would be a good Idea to avoid future issues that Cecil might use against him, if he were to ever find out about his Viltrumite Trainer. And considering how Garrett has found out how paranoid the man was, that could happen at any time.

Hollowed out cave, unknown location

Anissa, could be found lying down on a bed of furs and pillows, while browsing on her phone.

She answered putting on her firm tone saying, "What is it?"

Garrett spoke saying, "can we meet at the training spot? I have something important to ask you."

Anissa's face went completely red misunderstanding the statement as she screamed in her head, "Is he going to ask me out!"

Anissa replied flustered, "s-sure. When?"

Garrett not hearing her flustered tone said "As soon as possible, I'll be there in five minutes."

Anissa replied, "I'll meet you there" she quickly threw some heeled shoes on and took off towards the training spot.

A few minutes later, the two met up Anissa approaching him, her face slightly red as she asked, "So, what did you want to ask?"

Garrett opened his mouth to reply, Anissa anticipating the words she hoped to hear, but were dashed when Garrett said, "I wanted you to meet my Girlfriend, Eve. I think it would be best if the two of you met to avoid issues in the future."

Anissa had a tick mark on her head with a closed eyed smile while thinking, "Yep, I'm definitely jealous of that bitch." But outwardly said, "g-good idea, what issues were you thinking about?"

Anissa, despite not wanting to see the woman, knew her student had a good point, so she asked, "Ok then, what do we say?"

Garrett replied, "We'll say you're a relative of, Omni-man, which isn't too far from the truth, and say he wanted you to help train me. Which also, isn't entirely a lie either. And if we need to we explain what's going on with your people, she'll understand."

Anissa was a little worried about that last part saying, "She doesn't need to know, that is sensitive information, I only shared with you."

Garrett said, "I understand, but if we want to keep training together and find Conquest, then we at least need to honest with Eve if we are to succeed in both our goals."

Anissa nodded, knowing Months ago she never would have even considered the word honest. But Garrett had been changing her point view slowly over the time they spent together, and she had begun to realize, her people's way of thinking, may have become obsolete.

With this in mind, she said, "okay, where are we going then? Into the city?"

Garrett flew upwards saying, "Nope, we're headed to South America."

Anissa followed him wondering how this whole meeting was going to go.

Inside the GDA HQ Cecil was having the drone department working round the clock trying to Find Nolan and Mark but so far, the MIA heroes have been avoiding them, making Cecil realize, the two could have disappeared anytime they wanted to.

Debbie Grayson was one these people, as she was desperate to find, her husband and son, to make sure they were ok, and also find out what was happening.

As she looked over footage, her monitor was suddenly turned off, she looked up with baggy eyes seeing Cecil standing there.

Debbie looked at the many discarded coffee cups, realizing the director was right as she stood up saying, "Wake me if you find them, I don't care if I'm dead to the world." Before she left to go take a nap.

Cecil sighed before focusing on the task at hand, taking Debbie's place, and going over footage.

"What the hell?" Cecil thought in confusion, as he used a drone zoom in on something. Cecil eyes then widened as he shouted in his head, "Who the hell is that!?" as he saw Anissa flying alongside Garrett towards Atom Eve's location.

Cecil zoomed in on the new face, trying to figure out what was going on, while thinking one last thought, "What are the hell are you doing, kid?"

Amanda, aka Monster Girl was walking into a dimly lit base after getting released from the hospital.

Apparently, the fight with battle beast had somehow allowed his powers to kick-start again, saving his life and allowing him to continue work as a guardian.

Samson pointed to a box on the party table as she went to open it.

Robot nodded saying, "yes, I believe they were released exclusively in japan, and only had a limited amount of them made."

A spark went off in Robot's head before he spoke normally saying, "I apologize, a software issue I plan to fix immediately."

As he left to go deal with the issue he had mentioned earlier.

Robot suddenly brought out a scanner from his tank, going over the body as he spoke to the twins saying, "excellent work, but if you wouldn't mind can you remove the Time release mycotoxins, the embedded cortical override, and the eight synaptic receivers."

The twins looked at each other, surprised that Robot was able to figure out what they did to the clone.

Robot spoke again saying, "Don't look so surprised, I'd be disappointed if you hadn't tried anything. So, remove what I listed and add this improvement of my own design."

Another part of the tank opened showing a custom neural-link that one of the twins grabbed.

The twin spoke saying, "Why, don't you give us our payment then we'll do all that."

Robot sighed, before a flash drive was revealed in a slot. One of the twins tried to grab it, but it slid back into tank as Robot said, "it's encrypted and set with a virus, should you attempt to hack it."

The twins realizing Robot had been very thorough, did as asked, removing their 'improvements' while adding Robot's Neural-link.

Garrett nodded saying, "Most likely."

Eve leaned on her boyfriend's shoulder while he looked at the sun saying, "You were right, the sunrise is amazing here."

Eve smiled when Garrett's phone rang suddenly. He looked at it and was shocked to see it was Mark.

He quickly answered saying, "Mark! Where have you been! William and I have been worried sick!"

Meanwhile Mark, in his new costume was floating high above the clouds talking to Garrett saying, "I've been taking care of some business."

Garrett replied over the phone, "What kind of business?"

Mark frowned and replied, "Where are you? I'll tell you in person."

Garrett not knowing what his friend was planning answered, "I'm with Eve, in South America. But hang on-"

It was too late as Mark had already hung up and was blizting towards Garrett's location.

Garrett looked at his phone, seeing Mark had hung up. While Eve asked, "Everything ok?"

Garrett getting a bad feeling, replied, "I don't know."

But the two suddenly had a guest, as a voice said, "Hey, Garrett. Been a while."

Garrett looked up and saw who he assumed was Mark, but he had twice as much muscle than he did before and his costume was different. If Garrett hadn't known Mark as long as he did, he never would have recognized him.

Garrett stood on the roof asking, "Mark is that you? How'd you get here so fast and what's going on?"

Mark replied, "I'm here for one reason, Unbreakable."

Garrett tensed up feeling Mark's killer intent as he asked, "What's that?"

Marks retractable mask activated sealing shut over his face, as he said, "I'm here to break you."

Next thing Garrett knew, he was tackled by his best friend heading miles away in a random direction.

Eve shouted after them, "MARK! GARRETT!"

Anissa came rushing out hearing her and seeing the specks that were once Garrett and Mark asking, "What's going on?"

Eve flew down to Anissa saying, "I don't know, Mark came out of nowhere and attacked Garrett!"

Anissa still lost asked, "whose mark?"

Eve raised an eyebrow asking, "I thought you were Omni-man's sister? How come you don't know about his son?"

Anissa completely forgetting she was undercover replied nervously, "Umm, we're not close."

That just raised more questions for Eve but she filed them away for later, more worried about her Boyfriend and what Invincible was going to do.

Omni-Man entered his house looking for his wife, but noticed the house had been empty for days, the rubble and debris still there from before.

Nolan suddenly felt the air shift, making him glare as he suddenly flashed to a point in the room holding his hand out as blood started spurting out of nowhere.

Suddenly dozens of GDA Soldiers became seen while the blood spurt was coming from another soldier who had been camouflaged.

Nolan growled at the soldiers making them scared as he said, "Cecil." Before he began mercilessly killing the soldiers, ripping them apart and taking their bullets like nothing.

Omni-man realizing if Cecil set this pathetic ambush for him, then something must be waiting for his son as well.

He grabbed a female soldier and tossed her through the roof and as she landed, Nolan noticed she was crawling towards a certain house before dying.

Nolan dashed over destroying the wall of the house completely, revealing Donald Ferguson holding some crazy looking rifle and fired it at the hero turned murderer.

A huge blue blast launched Omni-man away and out sight. Making Donald look at the experimental weapon saying, "Huh, so that's what this thing does."

But Donald suddenly felt unimaginable pain in his lower back. "Guuurkah." He gurgled in agony as Omni-man had appeared behind him unscathed crushing Donald's spine with his bare hands. "You were always Cecil's loyal lap dog, Donald." Nolan insulted

Donald glared at Omni-man his shades falling off revealing cybernetic eyes as he said, "I'm not a dog, you piece of shit."

Omni-man growled, squeezing harder making Donald grunt but he finished what he had to say shouting, "I AM A SOLDIER!" as Donald ripped open his shirt to reveal a metal chest as it opened and a red cylinder began glowing.

Omni-man's eyes widened in shock, before a massive explosion went off destroying half the neighborhood. With Omni-man at the dead- center of the blast.

GDA HQ

The workers at the GDA including Cecil and Debbie all watched what just transpired.

Debbie had a hand covering her mouth in horror while Cecil placed a hand over his heart saying, "It was honor serving with you, Donald."

Debbie couldn't believe what she was seeing, it was like the man she married never existed at all. As she spoke horrified, "I don't know… I don't who Nolan is anymore."

They saw the smoke clear, showing Nolan was unharmed as he took to the sky.

Cecil looked at Debbie saying, ", I'm sorry, Debbie. I wish you didn't have to see this."

But before the woman could speak, a worker shouted, "Sir, we have visual on Invincible!"

Cecil quickly ordered, "On screen!"

The worker did so, and Debbie covered her mouth again shouting, "What are they doing!" as tears fell down cheeks, while she witnessed Mark and Garrett fighting.

After Mark tackled Garrett, the two had been grappling in the air trying to get leverage on the other.

As they flew Garrett shouted at his friend in confusion saying, "Mark, stop! Why are you doing this!?"

Mark head butted Garrett stunning him before shouting, "You should know why!" and tossed him away.

Garrett flipped in the air before righting himself and looking at his friend thinking, "I don't know why you're doing this, Mark." Garrett ripped off his clothes revealing his costume and put on his mask thinking, "But I'm going to find out." And took off to clash with his friend once more.

The two met in the air, their collision creating shockwaves as they gripped each other's hands trying to overpower the other.

Unbreakable shouted once again saying, "What should I know Mark! As far as I can tell, you're just attacking me like some villain!"

Mark shouted back angered by the statement, "I'm not a villain, Bastard! I'm just as much a hero as you, even more than that!" Mark suddenly kneed Garrett's stomach knocking the air out of him, before Invincible punched him with a hard right hook sending him downwards.

Mark finished his statement as he chased his rival shouting, "I'm Better!" as he flashed to Garrett's position and uppercutted Garrett sending flying another direction.

Garrett feeling the hits and even feeling some teeth come loose, realized Mark had become much stronger than had been before.

However, the fact his friend is this strong in only a week made Garrett realize, he had to have gone through hellish training.

Garrett only recently discovered, that he was so strong thanks to his mother. But he couldn't imagine what Omni-man put mark through.

As Mark came up on him again, he tried to kick Garrett's stomach but the guardian blocked the kick throwing away marks leg and shouting, "Mark, what did your dad do you to do? Please just tell me what's going on!"

Mark sucker punched Garrett in the solar plexus knocking the air out of lungs as he fell to the ground.

Unbreakable, landed in a hard crash as Mark flashed to his position again, and grabbed him by his costume shouting in his Face, "I gonna prove you're not unbreakable, I'm gonna show everyone, that Invincible is a hero who can protect the Earth better than any hero, no matter fast they gain power, I'll take them all on!"

It was then everything clicked in Garrett's mind, Mark was doing this, because of him.

He thought back to all this encounters with Mark before he disappeared, and realized, the signs had been there but he just didn't see them.

Mark had been reprimanded by Cecil constantly, and the GDA director didn't trust the hero at all, Mark was constantly hearing news of his accomplishments, and he was constantly in the presence of Garrett and Eve's relationship, something that mark once had but then lost.

Garrett's body went limp as he said, "I'm' sorry, brother."

Mark eyes went wide, but he growled shouting, "Shut up!" and punched Garrett straight in the face sending him flying. Mark flashed to him kicking his stomach, making the limp hero cough up blood, and go rolling across the ground and hitting the side of a random plateau as rubble fell around him.

Mark was there in an instant, and punched Garrett's face multiple times, the hero just grunted as he was punched, not moving.

Mark yelled in frustration, "Why aren't you fighting back!" as he stopped for a second.

Garrett coughed, blood spraying from his mouth as he said, "If you hadn't noticed Mark, I haven't thrown a single punch this whole time."

Mark's eyes widened as he realized Garrett was right, he had been strictly defending, not attacking.

That thought irritated Mark as he growled and kicked Garrett in the stomach sending him further into the rocks as he shouted, "Fight me, you coward!"

Garrett just shook his head no while Mark yelled and punched Garrett everywhere he could, his face, his stomach, his ribs, but the hero did not move.

Mark starting to break down grabbed Garrett's costume, ripping off his mask and shouting in his face, "Come, on!" and punched him again, Garrett's head just flew to side, blood leaving his mouth while Mark growled, holding his rival close saying, "Fucking, fight me, damn it."

Garrett turned his head looking at his friend, his brother and replied, "N-No… " Marks eyes widened again as Garrett spoke saying, "No matter how many punches it takes, how many bones you have to break, I will take as many beatings as it takes, as long you come back to us. So, Do you what you must, Mark, I'm not going to fight you."

Mark gritted his teeth and punched Garrett's face shouting, "Why! Because you have to be the better man, like always!"

"No, because you're my Brother Mark, I love you." Garrett replied Invincible's fist still buried in his face as tears fell down his eyes

Mark began trembling as he dropped Garrett and fell to his knees, punching the ground.

Suddenly the giant of a teenager began sobbing as Garrett went to his level looking at him.

Marks retractable mask had went back to normal and tears were falling down under his goggles, he looked at Garrett saying, "All I wanted, was to prove I'm a hero."

Garrett immediately hugged his brother, holding him close saying, "You are a hero, Mark. You just need a proper guide, not your father."

"And who decided that?" a deep voice suddenly spoke.

Mark and Garrett looked up and saw Omni-man, but the two had looks of horror on their faces, because in Omni-man's hands, were the top and bottom half, of the hero, The Immortal. The supposedly unkillable hero's eyes briefly moved before going still once more as Omni- dropped the pieces saying to his son, "What are doing? Finish him Mark!"

Mark stunned seeing his father drop, who he thought was his friend to ground with his blood on his hands.

Mark stood up shocked and said, "D-dad? What did you do?"

Flashback a few hours ago…New York, Mauler warehouse

The Mauler twins were currently dodging energy blasts and giant limbs, from the robot clones transformer.

The twins were constantly throwing their homemade guns to each other as they ran and jumped around their warehouse, taking parts from each weapon and making a new one.

The Robot clone, spoke standing still like it was Tuesday saying, "It didn't have to go this way, you know. We could have settled things peacefully with no issues."

One the twins shouted, "Fuck off! You vat grown piece of shit!"

The twin tossed the gun to the lab coat twin who grabbed it and came from a hiding spot aiming at the clone shouting, "Eat this, Dickbird!" and fired

Robot, caught off guard, was frightened for second, but his transformer came just in time, its hand blocking the attack easily.

The twin growled but became worried as the weapon shorted out making robot say, "Clever, but you don't have enough materials to do that again, not that I'd let you."

The twins growled as they were backed into corner but suddenly Robot's comms went off and after hearing what was happening, he took off, being held in his transformers hand, while launching skywards.

The twins looked upwards saying in unison, "Asshole."

Somewhere between New York and Unbreakables location

Omni-man was flying towards Mark and Unbreakable, to make sure his son finished the job.

But he suddenly felt the air shift again, then felt something from above as he said, "They wouldn't dare." Before a massive laser hit him point blank and started spreading over miles, destroying forests, wildlife, and mountains alike.

When the smoke cleared all could be seen was scorched earth, animal corpses, and a massive crater where Omni-man once was.

But a red and white blur began shooting upwards into space as the laser began charging again, but Omni-man was faster, and used his body as weapon crashing through a giant satellite that house the annoying weapon making it explode.

Omni-Man felt something on his mustache as he wiped it seeing a dab of blood. He grunted in annoyance and flew back towards earth heading for the teenager's location.

GDA HQ

Cecil and Debbie watch this from the surveillance room with Cecil saying, "Four billion dollars for the world's most expensive nose bleed."

Cecil asked a random worker, "What's the status on project, 'Dog Soldier'?"

The worker pulled up a screen saying, "Still in the programing phase sir, we're having difficulty getting the proper codes written in time."

Cecil yelled frustrated, "Why, I thought that piece of shit was a genius?"

The worker pulled up another screen, revealing Sinclair in a massive full body cast, the only limb visible being the fingers on his left hand, which were crooked from the damage done to them.

The broken mad scientist was slowly typing on a keyboard a nurse was holding slowly writing down lines of code for his cyborg software.

Cecil, growled but accepted the answer, wishing he had stopped Unbreakable sooner as he said, "What about project calamari?"

The worker nodded saying, "She's all pumped up and ready to go, sir."

Cecil glared and ordered, "Send her in."

And the worker hit a button sending the project straight for Omni-man.

Omni-Man's location

Omni-man was flying once again, nearing his son and Unbreakable, when a sudden bolt of energy struck in front of him, revealing the Kaiju he had fought months ago.

The monster walked on four massive legs ending in rounded feet, its head was made of multiple tentacles with no, eyes, or nose, under the tentacles was a massive mouth full of razor sharp fangs, and the monster itself was a deep green color.

Nolan getting pissed, thought to himself, "I don't have time for this!" as he increased his speed, making his body turn red from how fast he was going.

He plowed straight through the kaiju's chest making it roar in pain, before all was seen was a fiery blur fly in and out the monster, sending blood and body parts all over the ground.

Omni-man stopped on a dime his body becoming a normal again looking at the destroyed Kaiju and taking off.

GDA HQ

Cecil watched this with wide eyes, as the kaiju had been his last chance to slow Omni-man down, they had specifically drugged the hell out the animal to give Omni-man a hard time. But the hero turned murderer had been apparently holding back, when he had fought it before.

Debbie looked at the screen with the boys seeing the fight was over and Garrett was hugging Mark. She quickly said to Cecil, "Call the boys, get them out of there!"

But Cecil sighed and turned to her saying, "I can't do that Debbie."

Debbie looked shocked as she said, "What the hell do you mean!? Those are my boys out there!" Her emotions running wild.

Cecil replied, "I know that, but now that Garrett has calmed Mark down, those two may be our only chance to stop Nolan."

Debbie horrified, knew what he meant saying, "Stop him? You mean kill him! NO, absolutely not! I won't let you Cecil!" she smacked him, then again as some men came and grabbed her while Cecil said, "sit her down and keep her there."

The guards grabbed Debbie and forced her to sit in a chair, as she shouted, "Don't fucking touch me!" she glared at Cecil saying, "This is why I've always hated you, Cecil!"

Cecil just watched the footage on screen saying, "I know, I hate me too."

Mauler Warehouse

The twins had grabbed their trump card which was the corpse of the Immortal.

As one twin medically stabled the Immortal's head back onto his body the lab coat twin was reading a file on the hero, while wearing reading glasses saying, "So apparently, his powers work, like this. As long he has all his limbs and they are intact, he will basically revive no matter what."

The other twin notices the stables coming out and the skin immediately mend saying, "Well, he is the Immortal after all." The twin grabbed the control collar they built with the schematics robot gave them and fastened on the dead hero.

The lab coat twin grabbed a remote saying, "Okay, let's wake this dumbass up."

The twin pressed a button but nothing happened, "Huh? The twin said as he approached the body.

He pressed the button again and nothing happened, making him saying, "Damn it! Robot gave us faulty schematics!"

The other twin walked up to the body saying, "maybe not." And started pounding on the corpses chest making the lab coat twin ask, "What are you doing?"

His twin answered, "Well, he's like Frankenstein right, put em together and he comes to life? Well didn't he need a jolt to get going?" as he continued to pound on the body.

The lab coat twin replied, "One, that was the movie, and two they used electricity."

The other twin shrugged his shoulders saying, "Same difference." He turned his attention to the corpse shouting, "Wake up, you stupid useless idiot!"

The twins became shocked though, as the pounding worked, with The Immortal's eyes snapping open before she shouted in pure rage, "RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" before shooting upwards ripping off his collar like it was paper.

He turned towards the twins yelling in fury, "WHERE"S OMNI-MAN!"

The twins held their hands up, realizing they were fucked, but The Immortal got in their faces screaming, "WHERE IS HE!"

They quickly pointed to the sky making the Hero roar and break through what was left of the ceiling.

The lab coat twin looked at his brother saying, "What was that about them not being faulty schematics?"

Making the twin reply, "Shut up."

Omni-mans, Location, a few miles from Unbreakable

Omni-man was almost at his son's location before he suddenly heard a loud yell, "OMNI-MAN!"

As he was tackled by a now alive Immortal.

The two grappled flying through air with the Immortal shouting, "YOU BASTARD!" as he punched Omni-man in the face.

Omni-man took the hit, before turning back unharmed saying, "You should 'eve stayed dead." Before punching the Immortal in the face back, sending hurtling towards the ground.

Immortal landed with a crash, his eye swollen and his face cut as he quickly took to the air again punching Omni-man again shouting, "You betrayed us!"

The immortal tried throwing a right hook, but Nolan dodged and punched the Immortal in the stomach his hand going straight through the hero.

Nolan and the Immortal glared at each other before the injured hero suddenly stabbed his fingers in Omni-man's eyes making him shout in pain.

The immortal dug his fingers deeper trying to reach Nolan's brain, but the Viltrumite veteran pulled his free hand back, and chopped the immortal in half from the stomach.

Omni-man held the hero's two halves, but he heard a loud crash coming from nearby, knowing it had to be Mark he flew towards the crash, not caring he still held his former comrades remains in his hands.

Flashback end…

Omni-man growled, shouting at his son, "Don't question me, Mark! Do as I say! Finish him!"

Mark glanced at Garrett Making his eyes widen and turn to his dad shouting, "I'm not going to kill, Garrett, Dad! Are you insane?"

Omni-man flashed in front of his son saying, "Why are you hesitating, I thought you were over this?"

Mark shouted at his father, "Those were criminals, monsters. Scum who didn't deserve mercy! Garrett's like my brother! Sure, I was jealous of him and bitter, but I don't want him dead!"

Omni-man Growled saying, "damn it, Mark, you don't understand! There's more to than this then you know!"

Mark frustrated yelled, "then fucking explain it to me dad! What the fuck is going on!"

Nolan sighed realizing he needed to tell Mark everything if he hoped to convince him to join Viltrum.

So he looked at his son seriously and answered him, "very well, as I told you, I'm from the planet Viltrum, however, it isn't exactly what I told you about. It is a utopia of medicine, technology, and culture. But it took all our strength, willpower, and courage. For it to happen."

Garrett who was still on the ground began listening intently, as what he was hearing was starting to sound a lot different then what he was told by Anissa.

Omni-man began telling the truth of the Viltrum Empire saying, "We created the perfect civilization, but it came at a cost. We had to… remove the weak from our society. It took years of struggle, but when it was over, our population was cut in half and what came from the ashes was the greatest empire in our galaxy. Then after a while we decided, we should be the only empire in our galaxy. Then we soon began expanding to every part of the universe, but with that came a shortage of soldiers and resources, so, we needed a better way to conquer worlds. We selected the best of our soldiers to go to a planet and weaken it themselves. And I was made one those lucky few. I couldn't tell your mother, why I was really here. But that doesn't matter now. What does, is that we need to prepare Earth, to join the Viltrum Empire. That what I've been training you for Mark, So, we can show these,"

Nolan motioned at the planet saying, "Animals, a better way of life. And if I didn't kill the Guardians."

Mark shocked shouted, "You killed them! But they were your friends, heroes!"

Nolan scoffed saying, "They were weak, nothing but barriers between us and the Viltrum Empire."

Mark and Garret were stunned for different reasons, Mark, was, because he found out his Father is a murderer and has lied to him his whole life. Garrett was stunned, because he realized Anissa had lied to him and was using his hatred of his father to let this invasion happen.

Garrett couldn't stop the hurt he felt, as someone he thought he could trust with his life, had betrayed him so deeply as he thought, "Are her people even going extinct?"

He was broken from his thoughts as Mark shouted, "But what about Mom, You love her! I know you do!"

Nolan looked at Mark saying, "Do you know how long we live Mark? The older we get the slower we age, Viltrumite DNA is so pure you're nearly full blooded. You will live thousands of years, while everyone you know is a speck of dust. And, I do love your mother Mark, but more like a pet."

Mark enraged shouted, "A PET!" Not caring about anything else he father said, Mark glared at Omni-man as his Battle mask activated and he squared up.

Nolan looked at his son dryly saying, "What are doing, Mark? Don't be stupid."

Mark replied, "NO! Listening to you this whole time was stupid, I should 'eve known better and come back a long time ago. But I promise you this dad, I'm gonna make you beg on your knees for forgiveness for what you just said about mom! Rahhhhh!"

Invincible punched his father with as much force he could using all the new muscles he gained, but his eyes widened, as Nolan just turned his head back unharmed saying, "You never did learn how to punch." Before punching Mark in the face shattering his goggles and sending him flying at Mach speeds.

Omni-man flashed after him with Garret shouting "Mark!" he tried to stand but suddenly vomited blood and fell to his knees thinking, "Shit, Mark has gotten stronger. I'm more hurt than I thought."

He looked at the direction where the two flew off trying focus on his healing as he thought, "Hang on, brother, just hang on. I'll be there soon."

Mark tried righting himself after he was punched, but his father was there in an instant and grabbed his ankle before throwing him to the ground, hard.

Mark hit the ground making a crater and shouted in pain.

But Nolan was on him again, Mark quickly turned and threw a punch aiming for his father's neck.

But Omni-man caught the fist, bending it backwards making Mark yelp in pain before Nolan grabbed his neck and choked slammed him into the ground making Invincibles eyes go wide as blood shot out of his mouth.

Omni-man grabbed his son saying, "Is this what you wanted? Huh mark?" as Nolan punched his stomach sending the hero upwards flipping in the air.

Nolan flashed to his son grabbing and tossing him through a bunch trees that broke and shattered, Mark could do nothing as his body screamed agony before he landed against a mountain side covered in cuts and bleeding all over.

But Omni-man wasn't done as he appeared again landing a punch in his son's sternum making him cry out and vomit blood.

Nolan glared at Mark saying, "Time to teach you another lesson. Don't go against your betters." As Nolan began to beat Mark mercilessly, each punch breaking a bone or rupturing something in the teenager, Nolan then repeatedly landed punches on Marks face destroying his mask, smashing his nose, swelling his eyes and knocking out teeth.

When Nolan stopped Mark's face was completely red with blood and he look disfigured as he twitched in pain unable to Move.

Omni-man looked at what he forced to do to his son before getting frustrated and yelling, "Dammit Mark! Why did you make me do this! Think, Mark, Think! The people's time here on this pathetic planet is like a blink in one of our eyes! Everyone you know and love will be gone!"

Mark was breathing in pain but was able to weakly say, "I did this… to … distract you… dumbass."

Nolan suddenly became on high alert as he grabbed marks costume, saying, "What are you talking about?"

If Mark could smirk he would as he said, "A couple… things… I've learned… is that…I've got a long way… to go… as… a hero."

Nolan getting impatient shouted, "Spit it out boy!"

Mark finished as he said, "Unbreakable… can't be broken."

As Nolan was punched away from Mark, Thanks to Unbreakable who had arrived in costume, mostly healed from before.

Unbreakable glared at the hero turned Murderer with fury, his red lenses flashing as he said, "I'm going make you pay in blood for what you did to him!"

Nolan shook his head surprised the hit stunned him at all before he glared at Conquest's son.

"I knew you were going to be trouble, the moment I found out who your father was." Growled out an annoyed Nolan.

Unbreakable replied, "Well, guess fucking what! He's not here, it's just you and me. Let's go old man!" as the two charged each other.

The two clashed with Unbreakable landing a punch on Omni-man's face cutting his lip, surprising the Viltrumite, before he kicked the teenager away towards the ground.

Omni-man felt his lip, felling a tiny cut healing as he glared at the form of Unbreakable and flashed to him.

The hero righted himself just in time as Omni-man tried punching his head off, but the hero ducked and spun in the air kicking the veteran in the stomach making him cough.

Omni-man countered with a hammer fist nailing Garrets back and sending him crashing down in a crater.

Omni-man flashed to Garrett grabbing his throat and saying, "You want to show mark what being a hero is? Let me teach you a hard lesson then." As he let go and punched Unbreakable so hard he was sent flying at Mach speeds unable to control where he went.

The two women, Anissa and Eve were in her house, a news broadcast of what was transpiring playing on the t.v, as the two women looked at each other having heard Omni-man's speech.

Eve stared at Anissa as the two gave each other a hard look, and said, "This is when you're very careful about what you say." Eve leaned in close asking, "Why did you lie?"

Anissa looked at the woman, who had what she wanted. If this happened half a year ago, she would've killed this woman on the spot. But, now…

"If we wanna keep training together and find Conquest, then the least we can do is be honest with Eve." Garrett's words rang in her mind as she thought, "Honest."

Anissa took a breath saying, "I lied to him, because I wanted to use him at first."

Eve picking up on her words asked, "At first?"

Anissa shuffled awkwardly and said, "When I first met him, he was just mission, a target to exploit. But after I've known him for this long, and what he's taught me about this world. I realized, I don't want to see him hurt." Her mind flashed to how scared she felt after Garrett fought Battle Beast, it was the first time she actually felt fear.

"I want to learn more about this place with him, I-"

She was cut off as Eve knew what was going on now, and said, "You love him."

Anissa snapped up at Eve her face red saying, "No! That not it, I-"

Eve shook her head saying, "You can't deny it, and it's all over your face."

Anissa said, "What!" And looked for mirror making Eve giggle and say, "It's an expression." Making Anissa sit down, her face even redder.

Anissa looked at Eve saying, "Why aren't you getting angry?"

Eve looked at her and said, "Because you were honest with me, and that's just who Garrett is, he can't help himself. Always looking out for others, trying to be the hero. It's one I reasons I fell for him too."

Anissa didn't know what to think as she said, "So what do we do about this?" Anissa waved her hand between them the question implied.

Eve shrugged her shoulders saying, "I don't know, but now we need to make sure Garrett's ok first." As they focused on the news but became horrified at what they saw.

Garrett was soaring through the sky like a rocket as he struggled in vain to change his trajectory, since Omni-Man had hit him with enough force to become a human missile.

His eyes widened seeing a city approaching as shouted "No, no, no, no, no!" but it was all in vain as he came crashing into the unsuspecting city crashing through skyscrapers, roads, and even people.

Garrett finally slowed down enough to dig his hands and feet into the asphalt finally coming to stop but fell to his knees after seeing the damage.

There was blood covering the street from the people he crashed into, some buildings were in ruins and a skyscraper was about to collapse its occupants still inside.

Garrett though in tremendous pain flew to the building grabbing the nearest civilians he could find.

After saving a mom and her daughter, the building was about to fall over completely but Unbreakable quickly flew upwards and stopped it trying to push it upright to allow people to escape.

But he was sent spiraling away as Nolan crashed into him, while also collapsing the building.

Garrett crashed through the street and into the subway below in a heap coughing blood as his mask was torn in half, blood dripping down his head and his vision was becoming blurry.

Omni-man man suddenly flashed in front of Unbreakable, grabbing him by the head saying, "You think you're a hero? Think you can't be broken? Well, let's see how you handle this."

Nolan flipped Garrett around and held him in the in front of the subway tracks as the lights of the train came rushing forward.

Unbreakable realizing what Omni-man was doing pounded at the man's arms.

Omni-man grunted feeling the bones in his arm crack but kept his grip while Garrett screamed, "Let me go! Don't do this! They're innocent!"

Nolan coldly replied, "They're nothing but cattle."

As the train crashed into them, Garrett forced to watch horrified as the people inside were torn apart by Nolan using him a battering ram.

Garrett screamed in despair, "Stop it, Stop it! STOP IT!" before the train finally ended and Omni-man threw him aside.

Garrett had tears streaming down as he looked at all the corpses, and looked Nolan with hate saying, "You monster." And tried attacking him but Nolan caught his fist breaking it "Ahhhhgh." Garrett roared while Omni-man said, "No, I'm not a monster. I'm just better than you."

Garrett growled and shouted, "Bastar-"

but Nolan uppercutted him cracking his jawline and sent crashing through the stone ceiling before flashing upwards and roundhouse kicking him at Mach speeds again.

Atom's Eve's house, south America

Eve was watching what was happening holding a pillow in a death grip thinking to herself, "Please, save him." As Anissa's spot on the couch was empty.

Mark's location, back where the fight began

Garrett came soaring through as he crashed in the mountain a few from Mark vomiting blood.

Mark saw, his Brother with his good eye, shocked he was so hurt.

Mark got irritated though, saying, "What… the fuck… I talked you up like shit… and you're getting… your ass kicked?"

Garrett slowly looked at Mark realizing, the training he did, changed more than his body as he replied, "Shut up."

But Nolan appeared again punching Garrett in the chest. Garrett's eyes were wide as saucers as he felt something crack in his chest and was struggling to breathe now as he collapsed gasping.

Mark shouted at his father even though he couldn't move, "Stop it Dad! You're… Gonnna kill him!"

Nolan placed his foot on Garrett's head as the hero looked up gasping but without a hint of fear.

Nolan replied to Mark saying, "That's the point." But before Omni-man could crush Garrett's head, he was sent flying miles away.

Garrett was still gasping but saw he had been saved by Anissa, wearing her Viltrumite outfit as she bent down grabbing him saying, "Breath through your nose." Garrett did as told, his breathing more under control, as Anissa hugged him saying "stay here, I'll be back for you."

Garrett wanted to speak but couldn't as his vision faded from lack of oxygen before passing out.

Anissa took off after Nolan who had righted himself but was shocked to see her there.

Nolan furious shouted, "What the hell are doing, Anissa? Do you know what attacking me means?"

Anissa cracked her knuckles saying, "Ooooh yes, and I don't care. I've wanted to punch the arrogant smirk off your face for years."

Nolan narrowed his eyes as he realized something was different about his Viltrumite sister, as she never would have dared attack him in the past.

He then growled out, "You can't beat me, Anissa. And the whole of the empire is going to come down on your head! Think this through!"

Anissa was silent before she replied to Nolan saying, "Like I said, I don't care. If anyone, be they Viltrumite, alien, or freak. Attacks this planet then I'll return their aggression a hundred times over, so that their children's children will be begging for mercy!"

Everyone around the world who was able to watch what had been happening thanks to the drones, was stunned as this strange woman had declared herself a protector of the planet.

Omni-man glared and said nothing but flashed away, but so did Anissa as the clashed, shockwaves erupting in the sky, before they flashed away again.

Anissa flew upside down spinning her legs hitting Nolan like a helicopter.

He held his arms up blocking her legs before grabbing one but she quickly rotated her position into an arm bar and pulled dislocating Nolan's shoulder making him yell as he threw her off.

He forced his shoulder in place and dashed after her punching her face making her grunt and blood fly from her mouth but she gave Nolan a bloody grin before punching his stomach making him double over as she kicked his face saying, "Try harder!"

Nolan flipped in the air and righted himself and coughed up blood thinking, "damn it."

After fighting Cecil's roadblocks to his son, then fighting the two hybrids, which he underestimated Garrett's abilities and now fighting a full blooded Viltrumite, he was starting to run out of steam and knew if he didn't end this now, then they might actually succeed in stopping him.

Nolan glared at Anissa saying, "I hope you can live with your choice, Anissa. Because it won't be a long life." As he took off into the sky and out of the planets atmosphere.

Anissa flew after him before stopping shouting in rage, "Get back here coward! You owe me blood, Nolan! Do you hear me!" but she got no reply.

"Garrett." She thought as she quickly flew back to him.

When she arrived, two helicopters were landing with medics, Debbie Grayson, and Eve. As they loaded the injured heroes onto stretchers.

Some soldiers quickly approached her and immediately pointed guns at her saying, "Put your hands up, no sudden movements!" Anissa frowned but was going to comply

However, Eve suddenly got in Front of the Viltrumite woman pushing the guns away saying, "Oh for fucks sake, Stand down. Did you idiots not see she's on our side!" she grabbed Anissa's hand, shocking the woman and took her to the chopper with Garrett inside and took a seat next to him holding his hand.

Anissa took a seat opposite Eve, before slowly reaching forward and grabbing Garrett's other hand, as the two looked at each other and nodded before focusing on the man they cared about. While the chopper flew towards the hospital.
