"Just before the holiday could start and everyone finding their partners to enjoy the dance, drama had already begun with Dutchess blackmailing Ashlynn Ella and Hunter Huntsman about their forbidden romance. All this just for her to take a happily ever after due to her being denied one at the start of the semester, but there other events happening behind the scenes such as Teela's brother creating a new sentient student that has enrolled out of the blue. While this was happening, mysterious notes started appearing across several lockers for people asking out for True Hearts Day. All except for one person, Raven Queen."

Morning-Ever After High

It was a blissful morning at the enchanted school with many things happening around the students. Such as love being filled in the air and finding it with people who were doing things with their other selves. From giving candy to flowers, everyone was enjoying the gifts they were all receiving. Raven Queen on the other hand wasn't exactly thrilled about the holiday since whenever she greeted anyone who passed her way, they'd eventually flee in terror for being the new future queen and tempting fate during Legacy Day. Though she wasn't the only one that wasn't feeling the holiday spirit, the other person was Teela. Who wanted to focus on being ready for her destiny and helping out Raven with getting any pent up emotions out of her. The two were right now in the gymnasium since there were no classes being held and had the chance to have a girl talk amongst themselves.

"I know this isn't exactly like what ordinary girls do when their feeling upset. But my dad taught me and brother that the best way to get out anything, is with some old fashion training. Safe way to do it? Staff practice."

The warrior girl spoke as she threw a practice staff for Raven as the purple hair girl caught it since it was new for her to learn staff combat. Though, if it could help talk to someone that was different from Apple and everyone else, then it was worth it. The two move around the practice ring slowly before engaging in a stand still.

"Tell me something Teela. Why is it that you don't talk about your brother that much? I mean he's smart and made a robot when he just came in, he'd be popular the moment he entered Ever After High."

She asked Teela about her brother since after DJ had arrived, there was word spreading fast at how intelligent he was compared to her. Spinning her staff and going at Raven in an aggressive manner for the comment, the future evil queen could see she had an issue with her brother.

"Let's just say that unlike my destiny that has to involve looking after Adam and Eternos. His story will be to make things and explore across the planet. He has it easy."

Teela explained how despite caring for her brother and acknowledging him in the family, she was jealous that he could do more with his skills than she could. Despite having already explained it to Apple about how everyone can choose their own destiny, it seemed that it was a matter of duty since none of the Eternians wrote their stories but accepted their own destinies without needing anything to convince them.

"Maybe instead of thinking about that, you could take the chance to do something else for the time being. Instead of being the new captain of Eternos army, there has to be something else you're good at."

Raven suggested on the idea that Teela was more than just a soldier as she took a second to think about the advice. Thinking she had the advantage and taking the chance to trip her off the ground, Teela saw this and got the upper hand and tosses Raven to the floor.

"Now I think about it, you're maybe right."

She agreed with the idea of finding something else than being just the new captain of Eternos's army. Helping Raven up and the two walking over to a bench so they could talk girl to girl. Pulling out her phone, Teela showed her friend an image of their father Duncan and the two of them being little kids exploring the outer regions of Eternia.

"While we don't know what can happen next because of the storybook fiasco. If there's a possibility, I'd like to know about my mother. My dad told me she passed away during the great war but, somehow there's a part of me that believe she isn't."

Teela explained how instead of leading an army she'd be trying to look for her mother across Eternia and see if she could be alive. Raven could see the determination that Teela had in searching for her mother, but with recent things changing. It seemed that there was no chance of having the opportunity in doing it. Just as Raven wanted to learn more about Teela and offering advice for learning about her mother, the door slammed open which showed a distress Ashlynn who was with Red and Maddie since it seemed she needed to let out some steam.

"Maddie told me about you and Raven were here since this was the only place to let out anger. And I've got a lot for a certain swan princess."

She spoke as the girl placed her belongings to the side and picked up the staff that Raven was using and waited for Teela to come up and practice with her. Surprised at how she came into the room announcing to fight, Teela obliged and would spare with since whatever it was that made her upset needed to be handled. Raven on the side walked over to Maddie and Red where they were having cups of tea due to what they had just listened to.

"And people say the Big Bad Wolf is bad. Ashlynn was able to scare him, several witches and an ogre after we found her upset near the windows. We told her we'd listen to her proble, but she wanted to hit something, so we insisted on bringing her here due to you and Teela being in the gym."

Red explained what was going on with Ashlynn as Raven could see for herself how the royal girl was acting as she was letting out her aggression onto Teela as the Eternian kept her distance from the fiery girl. The trio sat back to watch Teela learning about the situation she was in and being blackmailed into giving up her happily ever after to Duchess, it surprised Teela since she didn't think any royals would be that cruel to one of their own.

"I insisted we'd have a simple croquet game or cake, but this is more exciting to see a princess let out some anger. It's healthy on most occasions."

Maddie said as she handed Raven a cup of tea as the three rebels watched at how Ashlynn was attempting to either disarm Teela or throw her off to the ground. All in the while was Teela doing her best to try and figure out how to respond back to Ashlynn after learning about her relationship with Hunter.

"Okay. Well the one thing you shouldn't do is take this staff and knock her feathers out. Maybe you should ask if your happy with dating Hunter."

Teela questioned the princess if she was content with being Hunter's girlfriend since they've been keeping their relationship a secret from everyone at school. Hearing if she enjoyed being with Hunter, Ashlynn attempted to swipe off Teela's feet to only trip and cause herself to fall towards the ground. The warrior girl said nothing as she could see the confliction on Ashlynn's face grew to which it seemed how she was ashamed of hiding it.

"I am. But this was after when we all learned that being erased from existence seemed real, along how our stories don't match up. I'm destined to make new shoes for kingdoms and his is to become the new huntsman. But in actuality, I want to go on adventures, and he doesn't want to hunt any animals. Only beasts that harm people."

Ashlynn explained that it was out of fear that they could cease to exist if they came out to everyone about dating one another. Though now it seemed that of social life since her friends would question about dating him. Teela helped her up and could tell from the explanation, she wanted to come out and say it to everyone without knowing the consequences of her actions.

"Then you should tell everyone then."

Raven spoke up and breaking the tension since from how Ashlynn sounded with the stress built up around her and Hunter along the issue of being blackmailed. It was better to tell her friends than let Duchess do it since she'd announce it an a mean manner.

"The last thing I want to do is have someone thing that they'll still be erased for what I did on Legacy Day. Whether or not you believe it can affect your story, you and Hunter should be happy. Whether or not people will notice."

She encouraged Ashlynn to show everyone her relationship with Hunter despite how people will react to them. It was better that she did it before Duchess had the chance to say it. Coming to terms with the statement and seeing that anything could happen, Ashlynn nodded to the future evil queen and marched out of the gym to tell everyone about her relationship with Hunter after the encouragement that her friends had given her.

"Since that situation has been handled. Will anyone be asking out someone to the secret True Hearts Day dance?"

Maddie asked the three girls about anyone they'd invite which caught their attention about a secret party happening underneath Headmaster Grimm's nose. Confused about what the Hatter girl meant as she grabbed her hat and pulled out a heart which had an inscription on it.

"To those whose hearts of full of love. Come to the party with tons of fun. Be with the person you are fond of now, keep it a secret before the sun comes down."

The mysterious message said as it got the interest of the girls fascinated by the idea of them bringing someone to the party. Teela, seemed the only one to role her eyes at the heart message as she resumes back to her staff training.

"While I'm not interested in dating anyone at the moment. It be nice to attend a party after the unusual things that have happened here, we could all due for one."

Red responded to the party of it being the thing they need to help not thing about the storybook and hiding secrets since she hadn't told anyone about her wolf ears except for Raven and the mysterious champion He-Man. With that being handled, the three looked over with a smile growing as it seemed Teela didn't respond to the dance invite. Whether it was out of not having the chance to ask anyone out, or for another reason.

"Before you all start gossiping about my dating life. No, I'm not interested at the moment. There have been too many princes trying to make me their 'fair maiden'. Plus, I may have to act like a bodyguard for Adam since I know he'll be asked out."

She quickly answered their question on if there was anyone that would want to take her out which left her to deny their request since she'd be busy that night. Deciding to head out of the gym to see if Ashlynn was going to make a scene for when she announces her relationship with Hunter, Raven stayed behind to help with cleaning up around the place.

"I just have to ask out of curiosity. Has he been on any dates before coming to Ever After High?"

She brought up a topic on Adam's dating life to see if anyone would want to dance with him. Hearing the idea made Teela laugh at the idea since compared to everyone from Ever After High and Eternos, there hadn't been anyone to ask him out.

"Not a chance. I mean to not be disrespectful, but everyone thinks he's lazy whenever there's danger around. Whoever asks him out would have to understand what they're getting into. Despite that, he's a nice guy."

Teela spoke to her truthfully before heading out of the room to attend class leaving Raven to think about it. Despite how she'd never get asked out by any of the boys in the school to the dance, it might be possible to ask him out as a friend. Though what would be important to think about was how Ashlynn would tell her friends and the student body about her relationship with Hunter.

Later-Cafeteria

With the day going along like any other, Adam was sitting by himself for the time being due to the thoughts that were running through his head. Mostly about him having to fight his cousin if he'd plan on continuing to corrupt half of the students and have each of them join his council of havoc. Continuing to eat by himself, he heard that of some muttering coming from the other side of the room where he saw Skeletor talking to Duchess about an interesting secret.

"I don't know why you had to betray your own. I mean, I'd welcome it in my group. But still, you'd rat out a princess for an happily ever after?"

The skull face boy asked in a curious tone which took the princess by surprise since she didn't know about her being spied on by Merboy. Not letting Skeletor scare her and gathering her courage to try and stand up towards the possible future ruler of evil.

"I'm not interested in causing trouble for kingdoms and cursing princesses. All I want is a story where I can be seen as a fair ballerina, to amaze to audience with my dancing."

She responded how they were different in what they desired. Skeletor's interest was in causing trouble and providing people the power of Havoc. Duchess only wanted an ever after that had her noticed by everyone and be fawn of her. The undead boy chuckled at her response and aimed his staff towards her to try and intimidate her.

"Don't embarrass yourself. Despite having that white dress and flawless smile, you have an evil heart that graves attention and power. Why not admit it? And give yourself into the warmth of Havoc."

He suggested to her how while she didn't want to be evil like and the rest of his friends, Skeletor could sense an power hungry side from Duchess that would be helpful to his cause of destruction. It seemed impossible to say no to his words, but fortunately Adam stood up and went between the two seeing how he wouldn't let his cousin corrupt another classmate.

"And I'd suggest you don't try turning someone else into a nightmare version of themselves. Especially if their hiding something that can hurt someone who's a friend of mine."

Adam spoke out and glaring at Duchess which took her by surprise since it seemed that he knew about Ashlynn and Hunter's secret relationship. It left the girl to lose her confidence but get interrupted by Skeletor's laughter by the irony of looking after someone that had a secret.

"Quite touching of you 'Prince' Adam. Especially how despite coming to someone's aid, you didn't appear to stop me on Legacy Day when I attempted to take the book. Where you at when it happened? Trying to find He-Man and have him take your spotlight?"

Making a remark toward how before the transformation and becoming the undead man Adam was looking at now. He remembered attacking Raven which at the same time during the moment was Adam stepping in and deflecting his attack, which resulted into becoming He-Man. Doing his best to ignore the trap that he was setting up for him, the moment was interrupted by the sound of birds chirping above them as it was Apple White who noticed the argument happening.

"Now, now everyone. There's no need for any drama to start up today, especially how the weather is nice and relaxing with everyone having a chance to have fun."

She remarked toward how the atmosphere was peaceful along not needing a reason to start up an problem amongst themselves. While Adam would take her suggestion since it wouldn't feel right to fight his cousin again, Skeletor merely nodded as his red eyes opened in an alarming manner at what was happening behind the three.

"I surely will your majesty. Because it looks like things have gotten more interesting than our family talk."

He announced in excitement which left Apple and the others to turn around by the hallway to see an unpredictable sight. It was Ashlynn and Hunter holding hands which represented them being together and also dating one another. The rest of the students were surprised by the couple with ideas rushing through each of their heads about it being impossible while also exciting since they looked amazing together. All except for Duchess, who was fuming at the seams due to how she had lost the opportunity to get her story.

"Now I'll never get my happily ever after! Dang it!"

Duchess shouted as her tantrum caused the girl to change into her swan form and honk in anger. Running out of the cafeteria in defeat, everyone continued to look at the couple who didn't mind their attention since Ashlynn and Hunter focused on themselves and no one else. Unfortunately, they stumbled upon Apple who was speechless at the sight and not being told about it due to her friendship with Ashlynn.

"Ashlynn? Your dating Hunter? But he's a rebel. And your a royal."

She stated their occupations since they were destined for different lives along the lines that their stories wouldn't match together. Despite hearing that along noticing the reactions of everyone around them, Ashlynn held Hunter's hand tightly to prove that she didn't care about who thought it was wrong.

"I'm sorry from keeping this a secret from you Apple, but he's my boyfriend. And I hope you can accept the person I'm with, because I like. Whether he's a rebel or royal."

Ashlynn apologized to her friend for keeping this a secret from her and stating that she's staying with Hunter, despite the people who'll object to their relationship. Heading over to grab something to eat, Apple decided to leave the cafeteria to try and think about what had just happened. While that happened, Skeletor smirked at the sight of the couple defying everyone's opinions about their relationship since it broke the rules of fairytale stories.

"Would you look at that? I didn't need to do anything. It's already started, stories are being changed and people's ideals overweigh responsibility. Much like yourself, cousin."

He spoke to Adam before making his leave out of the cafeteria due to how he felt like he had won without lifting a finger. The blonde haired Eternian didn't say anything due to how it was good for Ashlynn to stand by her boyfriend regardless of what would come their way. Yet that their example could leave others to change their stories, to which he wanted to visit the Sorceress to see what the outcome could be. Though he accidentally bumps into a set of boxes being carried by Roboto who was with Cupid, Briar Beauty, DJ, and Dexter.

"Hey guys. What's going on here?"

Adam asked in curiosity of what they were doing with what looked like cake shaped boxes as he notices one falling right off of the pile that Dexter was carrying. Catching it before the box could land on the ground, suddenly the cover opened up to show a freshly baked cake with a heart shaped frosting on top.

"This? It's for a play that we've been working on for theater class. These cakes are for the food fight, ain't that right guys?"

Cupid coming up with something quick as they agreed to the response for Adam's curiosity as the boy raised an eyebrow about it and took a closer look underneath the cake. Which showed how much detailed was put into making it and how it appeared to be the type that would be for consuming, not throwing.

"Wasn't this required for the party that will be taken place in the."

Roboto went on before DJ rushed over to lower his voice down so that no one heard him out loud about the party they were setting him. Adam couldn't help himself but laugh at how anxious they were in making sure no one knew about this.

"Guys. I'm not Headmaster Grimm, more importantly with what just happened in the cafeteria. This might be something everyone needs."

He responded to not ratting them out to Grimm or anyone since he enjoyed a party like anyone else. Relieved about the tension that was taken off their shoulders, they continued to take the cakes to their designated places. Seeing them head off, Adam felt conflicted on Skeletor trying to ruin the moment. Meaning he'd have to keep an eye out for any antics that he or his friends might pull off, while also prepare to see how an actual party at Ever After High was done.
