A tale of the events of the first age, as told by Curufin's wife (who is unfortunately from the future) Culwen. A collections of chapters that show her struggles with not only a stupid oath by her husband (she blames Celegorm) but also with her own knowledge of the future.

What if Sauron had not fled? In which Sauron takes Eonwe's advice and returns to Valinor to face judgment for his deeds.

Ulmo has held the way the Valinor open for several ages to allow the elves stubbornly refusing to make the journey the opportunity to sail. Now there is only one left and Manwë won't shut up about how much of a security threat leaving the way open is. Ulmo asks Ossë to do him a favour. Maglor can't escape them both.

This is a screenplay that deals with the events at the end of the First Age and beginning of the Second in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth. It chronicles the events following the overthrow of Morgoth and the destruction of Berleriand, sticking closely to the (very) brief outline of them given by Tolkien in the Silmarillion.

Dear Husband suggested I try writing Sauron from a more sympathetic (or nuanced, at least?) perspective… took a while to chew on that one but this is what I came up with…

The world has changed in the wake of Doriath's fall and Celeborn and Galadriel must contend with the looming threat of war even as factionalism amongst the Sindar threatens to shatter the delicate ties binding Beleriand's survivors together. Meanwhile, they privately struggle with the fear that their new marriage will splinter beneath the growing animosity between their peoples.

Though powerful beings, maiar can also be susceptible to mortal injuries. Sauron realizes this after he is injured by a blade perfected to take down another ainu, leaving him to fight mortality. Thuringwethil steps in to help her boss recover, and in turn, the two learn more about each other. Sauron then realizes that his messenger might mean more to him than he thought.

Maedhros sends Amrod and Amras to Doriath: their task is to try and convince Thingol to hand over the Silmaril willingly and join his Union to defend Morgoth. Against all hope and expectation, the twins actually try. Oneshot; set during the six month timejump between TSG Chapter 30 (The Lord of the Gap) and Chapter 31 (The Second Betrayal).
