Devastating Encounter
Last time, we saw Rangermon and Yellow enjoying a day of shopping to celebrate their wedding anniversary when suddenly a new mysterious Digimon named Destroyermon appeared and began attacking them. Destroyermon managed to gain the upper hand against Rangermon and Yellow and nearly destroyed them when Rangermon's siblings arrived. As Rangermon's youngest sister Pink and youngest brother Green helped him and Yellow to their feet while Rangermon's younger sister Yellow and younger brother Blue fended off Destroyermon and drove him away.
It's now the day after Destroyermon appeared and we find Rangermon, Yellow, Rangermon's oldest son Red, Rangermon's siblings and Team Rangermon have gathered at Rangermon HQ to discuss the new threat.
"Did you guys hear that both Rangermon and Yellow were in a fight and they both got messed up badly?" asked Davis. "Yeah we did. Did they fight each other, or did they fight someone else?" asked Cody. "I heard that they fought someone else, and that person messed them up badly." said Ken. "Guys, how about we wait until they get here and find out what happened before we start assuming." said Matt.
"Mom, dad, are you two feeling any better?" asked Red as Rangermon and Yellow walked in. "Yeah, we're feeling a bit better." answered Yellow. "I know you're feeling better Yellow, but me on the other hand, I have to do some repairs on both of my arms." said Rangermon. "So, what happened to you guys yesterday?" asked Ken. "We were enjoying our anniversary when this Digimon named Destroyermon showed up." said Yellow. "Then he started attacking us." said Rangermon. "I managed to get all the Digimon who were in the area to safety." said Yellow. "He unleashed a powerful pressure wave that broke windows and some of the shards of glass sliced my back pretty badly." said Rangermon as he lifted the back of his shirt and showed everyone his scars. "Those look like some bad scars. Did you go to the hospital for treatment?" asked Joe. "No. The wounds were already closed by the time the fighting stopped." said Rangermon. "It's a good thing you have a quick regenerative ability, bro." said Blue. "It's quick if I have a lot of energy. That ability slows down the less energy I have." said Rangermon. "You said you must repair both of your arms. What happened to them?" asked Tai. "Destroyermon broke both of my wrist blades off and stabbed me in my shoulders with them." said Rangermon. "By the way you're explaining it, you took the brunt of the attacks." said Davis. "Do you think I would let any harm come to my wife and the Digimon around me?" said Rangermon. "Knowing you as well as we do, that is not surprising." said Davis. "Anyway, do we have any information on this Digimon?" asked Matt. "Let's see what the Digimon Analyzer has to say." said Rangermon.
Rangermon then pushed a button on a control panel that is on the wall causing the floor to open. Emerging through the opening in the floor was a large round table. "Slick new table, Rangermon." commented Davis. "Thank you. Me, Red, Izzy and Yolie have been spending the past couple of months upgrading Rangermon HQ with the latest technology." said Rangermon. Then Rangermon pushed a button on the table which caused the panels on the table to open to reveal a computer-like screen. Rangermon inserted his Digivice into the Digimon Analyzer causing the screen to light up and produce a 3D holographic image of a Digimon that looks like an evil mutated clone of Rangermon alone with its stats.

"Izzy, I think the upgraded Analyzer has a few bugs in it because it's not giving us enough information." said Yolie. "Possibly, or maybe that's all the information that it can give us." said Izzy. "Is there any other information that you can provide, Rangermon?" asked Sora. "All I can say is that he was able to beat both me and Yellow at our strongest. Yellow at her Mega level and me at my Super Mega level while in my Super Rangermon Level 3 form. And to make things worse, it looked like he was barely trying." said Rangermon. "Hey babe, why don't you show them the video so that way they have an idea of what we're going to be up against." suggested Yellow. "Wait, you have video of the battle?" asked Sora. "I think the better question is who would be stupid enough to be in the area while a battle is going on?" asked Joe. "This video is from my perspective. Like a body cam or one of those new go-pro videos." said Rangermon. "I didn't know you wore a body cam." said Ken. "I don't. My bio-mechanical eyes can now record whatever I see. It's part of a system upgrade I received recently." said Rangermon. "That sounds cool." said Davis.
Rangermon flipped open the cover of his computer that is installed in his forearm and connected a cable to his arm and the table and began playing the video recording of the battle.
"You're right, Rangermon, it did look like he was hardly trying." said Cody. "And there looks like a lot of damage." said Yolie. "Don't worry about the damage. Dad sent my siblings and some of our new recruits to help with the reconstruction work." said Red. "That's good." said Yolie. "Has anyone noticed anything strange going on in your areas of both the real world and the digital world?" asked Tai. "Not that we noticed." answered Mimi. "Have you or any of your colleagues noticed anything?" asked Rangermon. "Not that I heard of." answered Tai. "Oh! While we're talking about the UN, sorry for bailing on you yesterday." said Rangermon. "It's okay. After what you told us and seeing the video, I completely understand why you didn't show up yesterday." said Tai. "Thank you for understanding." said Rangermon. "Also, thank you for calling out the other ambassadors. We've been telling them about the exact same thing since our first day." said Agumon. "I'm going to send you the video and some pictures of the city after it is rebuilt." said Rangermon. "That's a clever idea. Hopefully, this will prove that Team Rangermon is not a terrorist organization." said Tai. "Red, tell your siblings to take some pictures while they're working and when they get done and send them to Tai." said Rangermon. "Already did." said Red. "Thanks Red." said Tai. "No problem." said Red. "So, what are we going to do about this new threat?" asked Matt. "We need to find out what his motives are and what his goal is. Why did he attack me and Yellow? Why did he leave after my siblings arrived?" said Rangermon. "Those are some good questions that need answers." said Tai. "He left after your siblings showed up because he wasn't expecting them. He did say that." said Yellow. "You're right. I'm quite sure he was expecting Team Rangermon to show up instead." said Rangermon. "That's going to be difficult because we have no information on him." said Izzy. "I guess we're going to have to wait until he appears again." said T.K. "Well, I guess that's all we can do for now. Everyone, thank you for coming and I'll keep you updated." said Rangermon. "Thanks for the update." said Kari. "If you need any help with the reconstruction, just call." said Matt. "Thanks Matt. In the meantime, I'm going to go and help with the reconstruction." said Rangermon.
Well, it looks like Team Rangermon has been informed about Destroyermon. Now they must gain more information about him so that way they can figure out how to defeat him. Hopefully, they can do it quickly.
