-Chapter 16: The Finals of 1A, Term 1-

The Finals came, as the air turned heavy. Though first was the Written Portions, and that was the easy part. That is, it's as easy as you could quantify a Japanese high school test.

However, when came the Physical aspect of the test, Goku was stopped by Aizawa from going with the rest of his classmates with a Capture Weapon snag.

"Oof! What's wrong, Aizawa-sensei?"
"To be blunt, Son, our standard test wouldn't be of any challenge for you to finish. You are many times faster and powerful than we could have anticipated. Therefore, your Final Exam will take place after everyone else had finished their Finals. Meet with us at Ground Omega once ten students return to the monitor room or when the overseer gives you the go-ahead to commence your Finals. In the meanwhile, you are free to watch all these exams taking place."
"Hmm... okay."

Weirded out, he goes into the monitor room. Inside is Recovery Girl, studiously looking at the monitors, alongside one additional person.

"Ah, there you are, Son, dearie," Recovery Girl looked at the Saiyan. "Your classmates are getting prepared to start their Finals. I'm here to assess how they operate."
"So, that's you're actual name, Son. Honestly, I thought that blonde idiot's nickname for you was your name."

As soon as the black haired teen spots the producer of that voice, he instantly recognized him. The purple, spiky hair. The tired eyes. It was the Gen Ed kid that almost defeated Midoriya.

"Oh, you're Shinsou! What are you doing here?"
"You'll see in an hour's time. Or whenever your friends there finish up. Whichever one takes the shorter amount of time."
"Hush up, dearies. It's almost time for the Exams to begin."

As Goku takes a seat, he looks at who is partnered up with who. And who they're fighting against.

Momo and Shoto walk into a residential area, where they are to fight Shota Aizawa. Of course, with their absurdly useful Quirks that are fairly well honed as they are, it would make sense to send in the teacher with the ability to negate their Quirks at any given moment.

"Yaoyorozu-san. With the way I've seen Aizawa-sensei scope out his enemies, we will need to strike first and strike hard. You should create something easy while I keep frost on my hands. Once his Quirk activates, either you won't be able to create anything or I won't be able to use my ice and fire. If our plan fails, then you are to run away."
"With all due respect, Todoroki-san, I will not leave you behind. Not only will that look bad on you, but it will look bad to our teacher."

The tired teacher looks out from a vantage point well above his students. The thing about this exercise is that he's to give them some fighting chance. Or a fleeing chance.

"Aizawa-sensei's fighting ability is meant to work best in a 1v1 situation. If you fight him head-on, you will lose."
"I know, and my plan is to make sure it won't go to a 1v1. Part of his martial arts style relies on agility and misdirection in addition to his strength. If we can distract him, we can eliminate his mobility options, and with the right restraints, he may be defeated that way."
"...That's a fair point, Yaoyorozu-san. Though the moment he comes in close, he'll have already erased our Quirks and will likely have a plan to restrain one of us with his Capture Weapon."
"That's where this comes in," She creates an armful of matryoshka doll. "This is a matryoshka doll, hiding the same intensity flashbang that I had used against Son-san, ready to be opened. I doubt that Aizawa-sensei will be able to just ignore them."
"Add in some caltrops to spread out. If we can limit his mobility on the ground, that'll give him less spots to ambush us that wouldn't resort to him being above us."
"That's a good idea, Todoroki-san." She tries to make some caltrops, but her Quirk doesn't work. Immediately, she stops and starts looking around.
"Crap, he's near." Shoto instinctively goes into a more defensive stance.

He looks up, though he sees nothing immediately above him. However, then comes a Capture Weapon, Momo dodging with a nimble roll while her teammate had barely dodged it as it lands with a slap and retracts, numerous dolls having spread out and a couple opening up, with the flashbang compound exposed. Aizawa took a look at the dolls.

"Hmph, so that concludes it," Aizawa ominously states as his glare fixates on Momo. "You're the bigger threat, Hero."
He anticipates where she will dodge, but he could not anticipate Shoto kicking a primed doll right into the path of his Capture Weapon, causing enough of an explosion to send the Weapon off-course and enough brightness to force their teacher to blink. Afterwards, a large sheet of ice materializes in front of her, the Weapon stuck.
"Not if I have anything to say about it," The Icy-Hot Student spoke before charging at the more experienced Hero. However, with a blink and glare to nullify his Quirk, he easily grabs his student and slams him into the pavement in one motion.

However, with the ice wall, a new idea had popped up. With the Weapon stuck in the ice, she noticed the metal alloy interwoven with the cotton threads, and started to create a facsimile of the Capture Weapon
"That is your problem. You've always relied on your Quirk to finish your opponents quickly. But when you're in a disadvantageous position, you resort to such sluggish attacks."
Using a knife, he cuts off the scarf-like restraint, before using some to pin his arms to his body.
"Now, to serious matters in taking her down," He said to himself, before he soon experiences another flashbang, this time right in front of him.

"You won't defeat us that easily, Villain." And soon, came a powerful bash to his gut, sending him a few feet away, as Momo creates a knife to cut her teammate free. The teacher spotted her shield as he started to regain his senses.
"Todoroki-san, I have made some Capture Tape behind that ice wall. I'll hold him off as long as I can, but you'll need to work as quickly as possible!"
"Thank you, Yaoyorozu-san," He says, before he sees her throwing caltrops around Aizawa while he gets close to the ice wall. "You've always been one of the most reliable classmates."
"Not bad, Hero. You're not as reliant on your Quirk as I'd expect." the teacher glares at her to disable her Quirk. However, she goes into her fighting stance, prepared to hold him off. "But I will see just how well versed in your martial arts you really are."

The two started to trade blows. While Yaoyorozu has speed and stamina to her advantage due to the Weights, her teacher is able to spot weaknesses in her style and strike at them. On the other side, her attacks have been able to deal some damage to her older, more experienced opponent, though his attacks and Capture Weapon feints allows him to employ more debilitating strikes.

In the background, Shoto had grabbed the Capture Tape and sneaked away from battle. Due to their sensei focusing down on Momo, he had been able to successfully get away undetected. By the time he finally was in position, she was only just holding on. Exhausted, her strikes got less precise while Aizawa was not as exhausted, though he had broken more than just a few sweats trying to finally defeat his opponent.

"It's clear to me that you are capable. However, you have been defeated." He then flings his capture weapon at her. However, Momo's onyx eyes locked to Shoto, giving her a burst of energy, as she allows the Capture Weapon to tag her, coiling around as tight as an anaconda and pinning down her left arm. Despite that, she can't help but have a look of determined victory on her face.

"You are correct. I am not yet capable of fighting you one on one. But I was never alone... And this is checkmate!"
Immediately, Shoto flings the capture tape at Aizawa, successfully tagging his right leg. Startled by his student, he tries turning around to glare at him, only for Momo to use her free right arm to land a hook on his face! Despite his attempts to further restrain his student, she works as a distraction, landing kicks before Todoroki froze his feet to the ground. Soon, with Capture Tape wrapped around him, they finally defeated their teacher. He can't help but smirk at her.

"So, this was your plan all along, Yaoyorozu? Distracting me so you both would initiate a pincer strike?"
"Well, partially. The distracting portion was mine. But having it be a pincer attack was Todoroki-san's idea!"
"I had noticed you were focusing down on Yaoyorozu-san, so I took the Tape and found a path that'll lead me right behind you, Sensei." As he said this, Shoto unfroze Aizawa's feet, who eventually was able to unravel his Capture Scarf around Momo.
"Heh... you two have done well, as I had expected. You both have a long way to go, but you're going at it the right way. Before we leave, I have a favor I have to ask of you."

"What is it, Aizawa-sensei?"
"For Son's Test, due to his... unique predicament of his Quirk's overall abilities, he's to rescue hostages from a duo Villain team, three in total. Had I asked before today, one of you would have told him and ruined the surprise. Are you willing to play the role of a hostage?"
"That will not be a problem. Though how will it be set up?" Momo asked.
"A cage in the shade and an ankle tracker, and once you get a certain distance away from the area, you're considered rescued. There was a suggestion to use ropes to simulate an actual hostage situation, but that's overkill for the intent we have. In addition, I would rather not give your more perverted classmates the satisfaction of seeing any female hostages tied up."
"Sadly, that makes a lot of sense... Any sort of attire you want me to wear?"
"Hero, casual, it doesn't make that much of a difference."
"I think I'll change into something more civilian-styled, if that's the case."
"Fair enough. Meet me at Ground Omega in twenty minutes. Todoroki, you may either join Yaoyorozu and I, or report to the monitor room."
"I'll just watch whatever test you have in mind for Son-san, Sensei." Shoto leaves for the monitor room.

As the cam feed showcased Momo and Shoto's victory against Aizawa, Goku had a smirk of pride.
"I knew you were strong, Shoto and Momo. Good work."
"These 1A kids are more ingenious than I thought..." Hitoshi said to himself, catching a glance of Eijiro and Mashirao being able to overcome Power Loader's traps.
"What in the name of Hippocrates are you doing, All Might?!" Recovery Girl was fuming with anger, as the two teens winced, seeing Izuku being used as a bludgeoning weapon against Katsuki. "You're supposed to be giving them a fighting chance, not turning them into mince meat!"

As for the other camera feeds... One shows Ochako unwittingly letting go of a railing after some banter with Yuga, causing Thirteen to freak out and in doing so, being captured after she displayed a grappling takedown. Another shows Nezu skillfully using a crane to block every exit aside from one for the two numbskulls. One shows Snipe accidentally bumping into Toru, much to their equal embarrassment, though with a Shoji ready to pounce on the opportunity. The second-to-final feed showcases an absolutely radiant and dominating Midnight, having put Hanta to sleep and leaving Minoru to fend for himself.

"Hmph, that Mineta kid had always been obsessed with the female form. Such a crippling mental weakness will not do him well. Of all the kids Aizawa-sensei would expel first, I thought it would be him. Though even he has a way out, he will need to become brave and face his destiny."

Soon enough, a new spectator joined in, that being Shoto.

"You've done pretty well against Aizawa, dearie. Do you know what to improve upon?"
"I do. I will need some time, but I won't give up." He then catches a glimpse of Hitoshi, who in turn stares at him. "Hmm, so you're Son's partner? This will make his fight more interesting. Good luck."
"I don't need luck from you, Todoroki. I will prove that I am Hero Material, starting with whoever we'll face."
"Whatever you say, Shinsou."

The final feed shows the victory of Fumikage and Asui against the main Ectoplasm.

"Recovery Girl. I am ready for Son and Shinsou. Send them down whenever you are ready."
"Of course, Aizawa. I just hope those villains you have practice more restraint than that blockhead fighting off Bakugou and Midoriya."
"...That meathead. I swear, that man doesn't know the definition of the word 'restraint' if it was a steam engine crashing into him."
"You and me both. I'll send them down right now." Recover Girl ends her communications with Aizawa, as she then turns to face Goku and Hitoshi. "You two dearies are now ready. Head down to Ground Omega and await further instructions from Aizawa-sensei. In the meanwhile, I'll need to prepare a soft bed and a pillow to scream in."

The two students leave the monitor room, with Recovery Girl following soon after.
The trek to Ground Omega was long, roughly about half an hour, but at the end of it, was a massive oak forest, with plenty of foliage and a butte near the middle.

"Ah, took you two long enough," Aizawa greeted with a wicked grin. "Your test will be different from the others, in part because of your proficiency with your Quirk, in addition to your martial arts ability. Instead of merely defeating your Villain or escaping, you will have to rescue three hostages from a villainous duo. For Son, the consequences of this test will determine if you're allowed to go to camp with us. For Shinsou, it will determine if you're allowed to join my class."

"Yes, Aizawa-sensei!" Goku affirmed immediately.
"So that's why you've had me meet with Son in the monitor room, Sensei... I'll show you how capable I am."

"If you work together, it should be easy enough. But if you don't, there will be consequences." Soon, the tired teacher produces a weird visor-like device for the two. "For communication purposes and to test their capabilities, the Support Department gave me this device called a 'Scouter'. You're to put the device on your right ear, and push a button on the side to turn it on. From there on, you will be able to communicate. Apparently, there's a microphone and speaker system, in addition to a tracking system. Personally, I don't think the system works because it just keeps sprouting out random numbers, but you'll just have to live with it."

Goku had grabbed his, and for some weird reason, understood exactly what this is as he puts it on. It took a while longer for Hitoshi to put his on, but he is able to secure it.

"I look like such a dork wearing this thing..." The purple-haired student bemoaned.
"It is what it is. You'll just have to deal with it until the end of the test, whenever that is. You'll have an hour to rescue the hostages. The test will begin now."

And so, the unlikely pair enters the forest of Ground Omega. Goku looks around, experimenting with his Scouter. In the meanwhile, his partner looks annoyed.

"If we're to pass this test, you're going to have to take charge. What should we do?"
"Hmm... I'll take the right, you take the left. If you need my help, let me know on the scouter, alright?"
"Hmph, I won't need your help if all goes according to my plans, but alright."

As the two split off, the Villains spy on top of the butte. Their handicap weights are not as large as the teachers, though they are only able to use up to 80% of their normal strength.

"Heheh... That monkey made such a 1-A mistake, wouldn't you agree?" The Villain, played by Mirio Totaga, said.
"You know it! Though I don't know too much about that purple haired teen... Who is he exactly?" His partner, played by Nejire Hado, asked.
"I heard from my contacts that he's a uniquely dangerous opponent. Try not to talk to him, alright?"
"Gotcha! And you're gonna go after Goku, then?"
"Correct you are, my partner! We'll meet back by the main hostage, if we're successful."
The Villains made their way towards their fights.

Off to the right, about 1.3km from the entrance, Goku can barely pick up on some noise to his left. After using his Scouter, there's a target hiding behind a tree. The device showed off a number, climbing up to around 104. Approaching, he soon spots the outline of a cage alongside its occupant!

"Hey, Goku! Help a man out, will you?" Eijiro called out.
"Eh, Kirishima? What are you doing here?" Goku asked.
"The Villains had beaten me and locked me in here!"
"Let's see what I can do...!"

When Goku conjured a Ki ball to blast the cage's lock, he soon feels a powerful hook make contact to his cheek, throwing the Saiyan around twenty feet away as he finally gets to see the Villain.

"Mirio?! You've the Villain?!" He said with an incredulous tone.
"Ah, who is this 'Mirio' you speak of?" The 3A teen spoke with a cheesy Villain tone. "I am the Invincible Villain, and you shall not free the hostage I had so diligently placed in this cell!"
"Heh... Alright, Villain!" Goku assumed his fighting stance, as the machine whirred to life. The "invincible villain's" number evened out at around 215. "Show me what you got, then!"

The two charged, though with having at least some experience fighting Mirio's style of fighting, he was able to dodge some of the upperclassman's stronger punches, in turn landing some powerful punches on his own! However, unlike the spar, his opponent was going for dirtier techniques. Eye gouges, nut punches, the Thousand Years of Pain, all of it's rife for him to abuse.

"Dude, that's not manly at all!" Eijiro protested, as he shook the cell door.
"Wars are won by those who are willing to dirty themselves!" Mirio retorts. "And he hasn't won anything yet!" He then says, as he uses his Permeate to launch himself at a similar velocity to a cannonball, connecting with a powerful gut punch that launches his Saiyan opponent sailing away!

As for Hitoshi, not far from the main road, about 1.1km from the entrance, he goes off to the left. However, his scouter starts to beep to his right. Seeing the energy wave, he was able to roll out of the way, as the woman who fired the blast flew in. His Scouter beeped, scanning as her number was ringing in at around 221.

"That's a nice piece of tech there! I would have gotten you good, but it sensed my attack coming!"
"Hmph, so you're the Villain..." Hitoshi got to his fighting stance. "I will beat you and rise up as a Hero. Don't take it personally."
The 3A girl was close to talking, but she held her tongue and goes to her own fighting stance.

Unlike with Goku's experience sparring against her, the relatively inexperienced Hitoshi found himself taking a lot of attacks from the more nimble Nejire. Even with the Weights on her limbs, her movements and attacks are on-point. However, it's not a total domination, as due to the purple-haired student's proficiency with Aizawa's Capture Weapon, he had been able to ensnare his opponent and land some decent hits. Soon, there was a lightly damaged Nejire and a panting Hitoshi.

"So... that's your grand power...?" he said in between breaths.
"Yep!" exclaimed the victor... Only to freeze up and appear blank.
"I have you where I want you..." He stands up, slowly. "Now, be a good girl and put your hands behind your back, Villain."

She did as she told. And just as the 1C student approached with the cuffs, a Goku with a bunch of marks on him flies directly into Nejire, causing her to fall over as he finally crashes into a tree.

"What the...?" Nejire expressed confusion, before she realized what had happened, and the subsequent pain of a kid knocking her down. "Ow, that hurt!"
"Sorry, Nejire-chan!" Mirio was acting out of character and profusely apologizing to his partner.
"I've had worse happen," She got up, as she looks over to her opponent. "Like you stopping me with your words!"
"Of all the times he had to crash in, monkey..." He lamented to himself as he faced off against the two lightly damaged 3A students, before he feels a surge of power behind him.

The Scouter starts to beep rapidly, pointing towards his partner. 100... 200... 350... 361 was where the counter stabilized, though he could have sworn that the counter was counting up into the upper nine hundreds before rapidly dropping down... Aizawa-sensei's correct, whatever tracking thing's embedded in this device is awfully designed.

"Sorry I crashed your fight, Shinsou," Goku said, his eyes have the yellow irises. However, unlike his previous iterations of Berserker Rage, his anger had been significantly reduced. Regardless, his speech has become much more stoic. "Though there's a way we can defeat him. I'll take care of her."
"What do you have in mind, Son..." His partner asked, feeling like he'll fall over from his injuries.
"Tell the big guy a joke. Get him to laugh if you can," he whispered.
"That isn't gonna work, but fine."

"That aura...!" Mirio was shocked to be feeling such pressure from a 1A student.
"It's like back at the internship, yet he doesn't seem as feral!" Nejire points out. However, in the blink of an eye, her Saiyan opponent was face-to-face with her, causing her to gasp. The facials are tense, but he is smiling a little.
"Yep. Except unlike that time, I know how to control my anger. To allow it to guide me, as I guide it." He explained. "After what had happened at Hosu, I started to meditate so that I may be able to use this form at will. It's not perfect, but in short bursts, I can utilize more of my latent power."

Mirio attempted to save his partner from his opponent, but to his shock, the Saiyan completely dodged his attack and countered with a powerful kick to his gut, sending him sliding back into another tree.

"Show me the extent of your power, Nejire-chan!"
"You got it, Goku-kun!"

With the two flying in the air, fighting using their energy attacks, that leaves the unprepared 1C student with Mirio as he stands back up from the tree.

"Hmm, stop me if you heard this one. What is it you call someone who has their butt high up in the sky as the sun rises? It's the Sunrise Peach." Was the purple haired teen's attempt at a joke.
Mirio, of course, starts to laugh. However, that doesn't work, and it simply results in the poor purple-haired kid getting a gut-punch.
"Hng... Well... you could call that one... a gut-splitter!" coughed the winded Hitoshi.
However, unlike last time, Mirio couldn't help but groan at the pun. That was his fatal mistake, as he freezes like a statue.
"Really... A horrible pun had gotten you...?" the 1C kid groaned. "Fine, at least put your hands behind your back."
He did as told. And afterwards, with the cuffs successfully slapped onto Mirio's wrists, he snaps back.
"Aw, you had to really do me in with that pun? Though at least your jokes were pretty good!" Mirio remarks with a slight grin. Though that was before it turned to fear as he spots his partner losing consciousness.

In the meanwhile, the bubbly 3A girl was startled with just how much faster and stronger her opponent was. True to his word, it seemed as if his natural born abilities have gotten significantly sharper and faster. However, she refuses to give up that easily, and had been able to land some decent kicks on his chest, and had been able to land Nejire Waves as a counterattack. When she sees her partner freezing due to a bad pun, she tries to stop Hitoshi with a Nejire Wave. However, that was her last mistake, as she soon feels a chop land at the back of her neck, and soon falls unconscious, the victor making sure to grab her and gently set her to the ground. Afterwards, Goku's rage state dissipates, leaving him a little exhausted as he flew back down gently.

"Looks like... you got him, Shinsou..." Goku panted.
"Goku, is Nejire-chan okay?" Mirio asked.
"Don't worry... I only knocked her out... with a light chop to her pressure point... in her neck. Aside from the chop itself... she's unharmed."
"Son, get her keycard. Now we'll need to actually find the hostages," Shinsou points out, before he takes Mirio's keycard.
"There's one... about five hundred meters away, three hundred meters to the right from the main road..."
"Hmph, then I'll go to them. Scout the area for the other two."

After catching his breath, Goku procures Nejire's keycard and leaves. With the two 1A Heroes gone, the 3A big man looks at poor Nejire. She starts to come to shortly after, also restrained with the cuffs.

"Jeez... that stings..." she mutters, before opening her eyes and seeing Mirio. "Wait, did we lose, Mirio-chan?"
"That Gen Ed kid got me with a horrible pun... These next generation Heroes are definitely built differently from us!" He grinned.
"I still can't believe just how much Goku-kun had grown! It's unreal!"
"He's definitely one that'll shine the brightest. And I can't wait until we can have a proper spar!"

Goku turns on the Scouter and finds a local power hidden behind a thicket to his right, two hundred meters. Of course, the Scouter had started to beep rapidly, stabilizing at around the value of 144. Upon going to the location, he spots a civilian Momo in a cage.

"Oh, Son-san!" Momo was surprised to see Son damaged. "Are you okay? You look like you were in a pretty big fight!"
"Heh... Those Villains certainly didn't make it easy, but Shinsou and I defeated them," Goku had a prideful smirk on his face, panting a little as he uses the Keycard to unlock Momo's Cell.
"The 1C Student from the Sports Festival? I guess that explains why there were two Villains instead of one... Regardless, thank you for rescuing me, Son-san."
"No problem! The road is two hundred and some meters eastbound. If you want, I can fly you to the entrance!"
"That will not be necessary, but thank you for the offer. Considering how formidable those Villains were, I doubt they've captured only me!" Momo says as she flees, waving goodbye to her Saiyan savior. Hostage Two is released, with Hostage One soon being released.

"Son, I had released the hostage you told me was locked in the cell. He was the one with red hair. Any updates on the final one?" Hitoshi's voice called over on the Scouter.
"Not yet, Shinsou. I had just released a hostage not too far from where we fought. It was a dark-haired girl." Goku replied.
"Okay. If I were to suspect, our final hostage might be closer to the butte."
"I'll scout around by flying. I'll be able to cover more distance that way."
"Hmph, alright, I'll keep on looking down in the forest floor."

With a leap, Goku starts to fly. The entire forest perimeter is about ten kilometers in diameter, and he was in charge of scouring the landscape. As Shinsou had predicted, Son spotted the final cell, five hundred meters from the northern tip of the butte. The cage seemed to be in more light than the rest, though upon descending down, the Saiyan can see why, as it's holding Fumikage. The machine whirred, as it scanned the prisoner, showing a value of 78.

"Son-san. It's good to see you. As you can tell, I am imprisoned in this light-filled tomb due to the Villains taking me by surprise," Fumikage said.
"Hey, Shinsou! I found the last hostage, five hundred meters from the northern tip of the butte. It looks like his cage has two keycard slots." He reported to his partner, before looking at the dark bird-headed student. "He'll be coming over soon."
"Affirmative, Son. You know, I had thought you would be more insufferable. I guess I was wrong on that end."

A few minutes later, and the bird-headed hostage is now a free bird once again.

"I owe you a debt of gratitude, Son-san and Shinsou-san," he bowed.
"Say, how about I carry you out of here?" Goku offered.
"I am humbled by your offer, and I shall accept."

With the final hostage rescued, and the two Villains, cuffed in defeat, Son Goku and Hitoshi Shinsou made it out with Fumikage in tow, thirty-one minutes left on the clock. Aizawa gives a smile, watching in the monitor room alongside most of 1A.

"Holy Hell, that tall Villain was on a whole 'nother level!" Denki said, sweating.
"No kidding, and he was willing to do anything to defeat Goku-chan alongside Shinsou-san, ribbit..." Asui added on.
"Did Son-san get eliminated from the gene pool?!" Minoru shouted out, who couldn't believe just how intense those low blows were against the Saiyan.
"Not very likely. It takes more than just blunt force to destroy any person's reproductive organs, dearie," Recovery Girl answered.
"Though I am not gonna envy just how painful that'll be for the next few days..." Kyoka added on. She can't believe she's actually on the same wavelength as that grape pervert...

Katsuki, being cleared to return to the Monitor Room, smirks upon seeing him getting smacked around by Mirio via replay. Though he wished that he caught it live, but he had to be nursed back to health by Recovery Girl. Poor Izuku, however, was mortified upon seeing one of his best friends going through that much punishment, yet the Saiyan just refused to stay down. It was one of the more respectable qualities of Goku he had noticed during this semester, that despite what was thrown against him, he keeps on getting back up, ready to tackle the problem head-on.

"His partner is just as intimidating. A graceful, yet strategic battler. I don't believe I could beat her easily," Shoto commented.
"Yeah, I'd definitely lose to her, as well," Hanta spoke up.
"With her flying abilities, she'd practically nullify any ground-based attacks if she wanted to..." Mashirao was a little scared about the prospect of having to fight a flying Nejire himself. And despite his enmity towards Hitoshi, he can't help but admit he had played a not-insignificant part of the duo's victory.
"She's so pretty and strong!" an energized Tooru pumped her fist.
"She's got such a versatile Quirk, and is a well-rounded woman. Even Son had some attacks land true on him," Mezo concluded.

"We'll cover them at a later date. But you saw just a taste of what happens when you train up," Aizawa announced. "Where even your most powerful classmate was, for a bit, getting tossed around like a ragdoll. That is the culmination of 'Plus Ultra.' That is what I want all of you to be by the time you graduate from UA. I want you all to be your best possible selves."

The end result of the Finals? Sixteen of the nineteen students had passed the Physical Finals, but all of them had passed their Written Finals. Despite finding a Team Move, Denki and Mina still failed to utilize it to stop Nezu, due to their panic blinding them. Hanta also failed, due to the fact that he had done nothing against Midnight, only saving Minoru from failing due to his Tape working well as a mask. Ochako and Yuga barely passed, as their success hinged on the luck of startling their teacher. In essence, they have only defeated their "Villain" since it was just a test. In spite of Aizawa knowing it was a test, he still brought his A-Game against Momo, and it was because of her tenacity and strategy with Shoto he still elected to pass the duo. Speaking of teachers, All Might was unofficially sanctioned due to the fact that his pair were brutalized beyond what was necessary. It was only by luck, Izuku's expedited training, and by the duo already going in with some respect between them allowed the two to more ferociously fight off the No. 1 Hero, that their injuries were not much more severe. As for Shinsou...

"Shinsou-kun!" waved Tenya, as they were going to their lockers. "How had your Final with Son-kun gone?"
"Hmph, could have been faster, but he is generally a reliable monkey," Hitoshi joked to the disgraced 1A student.
"Will you stop besmirching him with that foul nickname?!"
"Relax, Iida. I'm not using that nickname like that loud bomber would..."

Soon, a smiling Nezu appears.

"Principal Nezu, sir!" Tenya bows on instinct, causing the animal-man to chuckle.
"Relax, Iida! I've seen you've been doing well on your studies. Keep it up, and I'm certain you'll return to the Hero Course in no time!"
"Thank you for your kind remarks, Principal!"

"Though I'm actually here for Shinsou, it's just a happy coincidence I got to see you as well, Iida. I've seen how you've handled the 3A students with Son Goku... it's quite remarkable how you've synergized with him. This letter is for you." Nezu hands over the letter to the purple-haired student.
"Hmm?" As Hitoshi reads it, he can't help but freeze in shock.
It's a document stating that Hitoshi has been granted a transfer from 1C into 1A starting on the second term, effectively becoming a Hero Student!

"You've earned it for your guts and guile, Hitoshi Shinsou. I hope to see more of you next time!" The Principal leaves a stunned Hitoshi and Tenya. As for the blue-haired teen, he can't help but feel proud.
"Congratulations, Shinsou-kun!" Tenya congratulated his fellow classmate. The purple-haired teen shakes his head to clear his mind, before looking at him with a smile.
"I'm sure your chance will come in due time, Iida-san. I'll see you when you come back to 1A. Do what you do best and don't give up."

AN: Now, the main reason why it took so long to get to this point was because I wanted to write out the Two Heroes Movie Chapter and the next chapter. Whether you want the upcoming Movie Chapters to be canon or not is up to your interpretation. On my end, I wouldn't mind it being canon since unlike the DBZ Movies they can fit into the Manga to an extent, but if not, then I'll just allude to it in the next numbered chapter. And yeah, I am sorry to all the Iida fans who wanted Mineta to be expelled for Shinsou to fill in, though at the same time, the fact he was able to get away with Vigilantism with an attempted murder would make his offense much more serious than Izuku and Shoto's breaking of Vigilantism. As for this chapter, I don't think there's too much I can really expand upon it, and I'll admit, I had forgotten it was Aizawa who had thrown the caltrops, though I think that, had Momo trained with Goku, this could reasonably happen.
