A/N I'm working on this story and Oliver's backstory.

Autumn woke to Day 5 of her cold on Wednesday. ACHOO! she sneezed. She reached for a tissue from her box, gently wiped her watery eyes, flipped the tissue over, then wiped and blew her nose, filling the tissue with thick, bright green mucus. Then, she took another tissue, blew her nose again, filling the tissue and finishing with a final wipe when her blowing changed from wet and gurgling to a dry puff of air.

Mummy fixed Autumn warm tea and toast for breakfast. She gave Autumn her medicine and told her, "Honey, I know you're not feeling your best right now, but remember to blow your nose gently and as often as you need to. It'll help you breathe easier and feel a bit better. I'm here if you need anything, okay?".

Autumn said, "Okay, Mummy. I'll try to remember to blow my nose gently. I just feel so stuffy. Thank you for taking care of me." and then got ready for school.

Autumn got on the bus, tissue box in tow. She gently wiped her eyes when they were watery. ACHOO! she sneezed and also wiped and blew her nose a few times on the bus. When she was at school, she put her tissue box in her backpack before getting off.

Autumn went to her locker, gently wiping her watery eyes with her flowered hanky as she walked with the crowd of kids and the mean girls were there, pointing and laughing as they whispered about her.

Autumn covered her ears and leaned on her locker, frozen up. After her freeze ended, she cried into her flowered hanky, very sad and hurt by the taunting. Her tears flowed freely, soaking the cotton as she wiped them and blew her nose into her hanky. ACHOO! she sneezed some as she cried. After her tears were dried, she put her hanky, wet and soggy from her tears and nose-blowing, away. Then, she took her tissue box out of her backpack, put the pack and other things she didn't need now in her locker.

Autumn went through her school day, with Sawyer still out sick. She sneezed ACHOO! at times, wiping her watery eyes and wiping and blowing her nose with her tissues as needed. Her thoughts filled with the mean words as she rode the bus home.

Autumn got home and saw Aika in the kitchen again, walking with her toy and sniffling. Mummy took a soft Kleenex and wiped Aika's nose, then gave her saline nose drops and suctioned the mucus, as Aika's mucus was getting thick. Autumn held her own tissue to her eyes, as she was in tears.

Autumn went to her room with her tissue box, wiping tears, wiping and blowing her nose. She looked dreamily at her stuffed Thomas toy, as she sat on her bed.

Autumn floated away to Sodor and landed, gently wiping her eyes, wiping and blowing her nose. Thomas was sitting at the station, his crew getting him ready for his train. "My cold and the mean girls are bothering me, still," Autumn said.

"Go ahead and cry, Autumn," Thomas said. "Let it all out. Blow your nose and wipe your eyes. Then, you can ride on my train."

Autumn cried to Thomas, then took a ride on his train, wiping her eyes gently, sneezing and wiping and blowing her nose from her cold. She made her rounds of Sodor after the train ride.

After her rounds, Autumn found Thomas and said good-bye to him, before she went home. She left her daydream with the sound of his whistle in her ears. After Autumn returned from Sodor, she had soup and cocoa, did her homework, took her bath, put on pajamas and read herself a bedtime story. ACHOO! she sneezed, wiping her eyes as needed and wiping and blowing her nose every 15 minutes, finishing with a final wipe. After her parents said, "Good-night.", she fell asleep, hugging her Thomas stuffed toy.

A/N It's months until I reach the part where the mean girls are punished.
