Prompt: "You'd be late for your own funeral."

Ra's office, even the one that she'd had back at the main Library, was a bit of a source of pride for the Archivist. When Flynn wasn't around to use it as a catch-all for his research (she had yet to successfully rid him of this particular trait), the office was immaculately curated to the way that Ra needed sot that she could ensure the correct preservation of the artifacts. Well, that was the excuse that she usually used to get Flynn out, since his organization "style" seemed to be "organized" chaos. But that was neither here nor there right now.

At least, that's what she had thought. That was before Baird came marching into the room, dragging Flynn by his lips. The Librarian (who didn't seem to notice the Archivist as she sat at her desk) just went out of sight behind one of her bookshelves as he began to speak. "We really don't have time for this. I'm not even remotely prepared."

The Archivist rolled her eyes as she went back to writing a note. "Flynn, you would be late for your own funeral, so I'm not even surprised."

Baird held up a hand to stop him from starting to banter with the Archivist. "Prepared for what, Flynn?"

He sighed before beginning to change into his suit. "Not for what, but for whom. Mr. Drake, the eastern dragons' representative is gonna be here any minute."

"A giant, winged, fire-breathing dragon is coming here?"
"Be kind, rewind." Ra's eyes were wide as she abandoned her project in order to focus on the conversation. "We're dealing with dragons?! I though that the majority of them were still asleep."

The Librarian rolled his eyes at Ra's observation. "Well, you would know if you had been in the workroom when I came in, and now you wouldn't be trying to catch up. And of course, Mr. Drake is coming here. In the supernatural world, the library and thus the Librarian…"

"Three thuses." Ra gave the Guardian a confused look but chalked up the fixation on the word "thus" to something that she didn't need to worry about as Flynn continued speaking.

"I know. What's up with that? Anyway, Judson used to take care of all of this sort of thing, but, obviously, he's not here."

"Flynn, first, how about a 'hello, nice to see you'?"

"Hello, Eve. It's nice to see you."

Ra groaned before standing. "And on that note, I'm going to go see if anyone needs help, because I'm not about to stick around to listen to you two flirt. See you in the workroom." And the Archivist abruptly left. That was definitely not anything she wanted to witness. Not one bit.
