Short Summary:

A bunch of rental girlfriends are found brutally murdered in the streets of Ikebukuro. The killer's modus operandi fits the American Psycho, a serial killer previously thought to be active in the US of A.

Hikigaya Hachiman (OreGairu), a deception detection expert, is hired to look into the matter.

But he is not alone.

Yor Forger AKA The Thorn Princess (Spy x Family), Carl 'CJ' Johnson (GTA SanAndreas) and Chizuru Ichinose (Rental Girlfriend) all want to catch this infamous serial killer, this vile monster who is preying on a bunch of innocent women for no reason at all.

But can these people work together?

Yor Forger is an infamous assassin who thinks she has put that life behind her when she and her family moved to Ikebukuro.

CJ is caught between two worlds. He doesn't know if he wants to move up in life - help Woozie run his casino as a joint business partner or stay true to the streets, be the gangsta from Grove Street, which seems like a world away.

Then there is Chizuru Ichinose. She is neither an infamous assassin like Yor nor a badass gangster like CJ or whatever the hell Hikigaya is supposed to be. She is just your average woman, who works as a rental girlfriend in Ikebukuro, with dreams of one day making it big in the world.

But if you were to ask Hikigaya, he would say, that out of all of them, Chizuru Ichinose has a more personal stake in this serial killing investigation. It's her co-workers who are in danger, it's her friends who are getting chopped up and hacked into pieces, their body parts stuffed into cakes and other confectionaries.

So yeah, don't discount her just yet.

Because Chizuru Ichinose might just break open the entire case for them.

You might think it seems pretty unlikely, but have you ever heard of a case where an infamous assassin, a badass gangsta, a rental girlfriend, and a rotten loner worked together to catch a serial killer who raped women and cannibalized their corpses.
