Obiwan and Yoda flew their shuttle towards the hyperdrive ring. They docked with the ring and began preparing for the jump to earth. They jumped into hyperspace and headed to the edge of the galaxy.
Mace Windu and three other jedi masters entered Palpatine's office. "In the name of the galactic senate of the republic I order you to give up your emergency powers. "Mace Windu said.
"Are you threatening me master jedi? "Palpatine asked as he stood up. "The senate will decide your fate. "Mace replied. 'I am the senate! "Palpatine growled. "Not yet! "Mace yelled. A lightsaber slid into Palpatine's hand from his sleeve. "It's treason then. "Palpatine said. Palpatine leaped and spun stabbing two of the masters in seconds. He took out Kit Fisto. Then he was fighting Mace Windu who went into vaapad. They fought around the office until Mace knocked Palpatine down by the window. "You are under arrest. "Mace said as he pointed his lightsaber at Palpatine. 'NO NO NO! "Palpatine shouted as he fired force lightning at Mace. Mace deflected it back causing Palpatine's face to turn grey, and his eyes turned yellow. Just as Mace started to strike Palpatine down he shot force lightning and knocked Mace down. Palpatine continued hitting Mace Windu with force lightning until he was dead. "Unlimited Power! "Palpatine shouted. Afterward Palpatine put a robe and hood on. Then he went to the comm and called a clone commander. "Commander execute order 66! "Palpatine ordered. On the shuttle Yoda grabbed his chest and Obiwan felt a sense of dread. "I felt a disturbance in the force master. "Obi-wan said. "Dying the jedi order is. The Sith had struck. "Yoda replied.
Back on Earth Anakin sensed the disturbance and cringed. The twins cried. Padme groaned as she tried to comfort the babies. "I sense a disturbance in the force. I hear the jedi screaming in terror and dying. "Anakin said. 'I felt it too. "Padme replied. "How could you feel it? "Anakin asked. "I don't know. Could the Sith come after us? "Padme asked. "They might if they find a way to fly beyond our galaxy. "Anakin said. The shuttle with Obiwan and Yoda jumped into hyperspace after leaving the galaxy.
Dr Rather came running into the room where Anakin and Padme were. "This image came from the James Webb Space Telescope. It's an unknown spaceship approaching earth. Do you recognize it? 'Dr Rather asked. "That is the biggest hyperdrive ring I have ever seen. "Anakin said. "There are eight hyperdrives on it. What ship is that in the middle? "Padme asked. "That is a jedi shuttle. It's a rescue mission. "Anakin replied. "That is good to know. I will send word to the president. "Dr Rather said.
Back in the senate Palpatine spoke. "We will reorganize the republic into the first galactic empire. "Palpatine" said as most senators clapped. "There are some renegade jedi fleeing towards a distant planet. We will build a hyperdrive ring and pursue them. "Palpatine continued. The empire then placed a venator star destroyer in the middle of a hyperdrive ring. The jedi shuttle approached earth. It was guided down by NASA to Scott Air Force Base. Anakin and Padme were among those who met the jedi. Obiwan and Yoda came down the ramp. "Master, I know you ae mad at me for hiding my marriage. "Anakin said. "Anakin it is alright I already knew about. I just never told the council. "Obiwan replied. "Then I am expelled? 'Anakin asked. 'No. Wrong we were about attachments. Lost the order is. "Yoda said. "I felt it. What happened? "Anakin asked. "The clones turned on the jedi. Some of them contacted us before they were killed. "Obiwan explained. "I had visions of Padme dying in childbirth which caused me to be consumed by fear. I believe the sith created them. "Anakin said. The jedi could see that Padme was alive and holding the twins. "You should have told us. We would have helped you and not expelled you. 'Obiwan said. "Anakin we are worried about you both now that Palpatine has control of the galaxy. "Obiwan said. They walked away from the shuttle. "A little green man. "Tex said when he saw Yoda. "Green I am little I am not. "Yoda replied. They headed to the hanger where the experiment equipment was. "This is the machine that brought us here. It was due to an overload in the electrical circuits. 'Anakin explained. Dr Curtis came in as fast as he could. "There is another unknown ship approaching. Goldstone locked on and is tracking it. Here is an image from the Hubble Space Telescope. "Dr Curtis warned. "That is a venator only it doesn't have a red stripe. "Anakin said. "Palpatine it is. "The president and some senators are on their way here right now. "Dr Rather said.
Air Force One landed and the president visited the group in the hanger. Padme was wearing her blue nightgown as it was the only thing she had to wear and didn't want to be seen in a hospital gown. They shock hands with the president. Padme started talking with a senator. "So, you fought in a war? Politicians don't fight wars. "The senator said. The senator was a man in his 70s. 'You are too young to be a senator. "The senator said. "I am not. I was the youngest senator in history. "Padme replied. "I fought for the people. "Padme continued. "That is crazy. We just vote on bills and worry about the next election. "The senator said. "Your country doesn't provide health care to the people or do anything about the gun violence. 'Padme groaned. "Lobbyists prevent that from happening. I entertain some from time to time. "The senator replied. "Disgusting! "Padme cliched her fists and her face turned red. She left the senator.
