Later Anakin and Padme were in a lounge when a tall man with dark brown hair walked in. "Anakin I am in no danger of dying. "Padme said. "I am not losing you. "Anakin replied. "Losing her to what? "There were spaceships lined up like traffic on a busy city street. I saw two figures surrounded by lightning on a rooftop patio before I came back. I think it was you two "Tex explains. Dr Rather walks in. "The president is making an announcement on the arrival of your two. "Dr Rather says as he turns the TV to CNN.
"My fellow Americans a historic event has occurred in St. Louis. An air force experiment brought two humans from another planet to earth. They are now at Scott Air Force Base. Their names are Anakin Skywalker and his wife Padme Amidala Skywalker. NASA has photographed their galaxy with the Hubble and James Webb space telescopes. They pose no threat to us. Next morning when they woke up Anakin wasn't worried.
"Did you have any nightmares last night? "Padme asked. 'No. Not at all. Very Strange. "Anakin replied. They met Dr Rather and Dr Curtis in the hanger with the teleport equipment. Anakin and Padme were wearing blue robes while their clothes were being washed. "How are you this morning Anakin? "Dr Rather asked. 'I am fine and have no nightmares. "Anakin replied. "The world is buzzing with news about the two people from space. "A female reporter on the TV said. They were interviewing people on the street. "I hope they bring back Elvis. "A woman said. "Maybe they know the secrets of the universe. "A man said. "We will be back with more on First Contact. "The Female reporter said and then the theme from Close Encounters played over a blue screen with the word First over the word Contact in the lower left corner. "What is that music they played? "Padme asked. "The theme to the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind. A movie about aliens coming to earth and meeting government people near Devil's Tower Wyoming. "Dr Rather explained. "Why government people? "Anakin asked. "Paranoia. People think the government knows about the existence of aliens since Roswell in 1947 "Dr Curtis said. "That is stupid. "Anakin said. "Not really. People are afraid of the government. "Dr Rather said. "Why? "Padme asked. "Lots of things. Beliefs the government killed JFK in Dallas, plans to enslave the people, and eliminate the middle class. "Dr Rather said. Suddenly Padme cringed. "My water broke! "Padme shouted. "Angel, I've got you. I am not losing you. "Anakin said as he picked up Padme and carried her to the base hospital. Later in the hospital Padme lie on a birthing table in a white hospital gown. "She is dilated. "The doctor said. "Hang on Padme. "Anakin said while he held her hand. Padme cried in pain. "Push now! "The doctor ordered. Padme pushed. "I can see a head. It's a boy. "The doctor said. "Luke! "Padme called out. Luke cried. The staff wrapped him in a blanket. Padme started pushing again. "I see another head. Come on!" The doctor called out. "It's a girl. "The doctor said as she picked up the baby. "Leia. "Padme called. "Anakin I am still here. "Padme said. "How? Angel, you should be dead. "Anakin said and then they kissed. "Those nightmares were wrong. "Padme said. "I was wrong about everything. "Anakin said and then he fainted.
