Chapter 533 Savage Throne

As the Sibling Showdown ended many beings throughout the Underground and Ooo watched the tournaments outcome with many different emotions.
In the Fire Kingdom, Flame King and Flame Queen were impressed at Gata, Jake, and BMO's victory. The two monarchs had heard about Gata from Phoebe and were impressed at such a skilled and crafty warrior, which added more respect to Finn and made Flame King and Flame Queen more excited to have Finn marry their daughter.
Gridface Princess and Space Angel Princess saw the outcome on tabs in their kingdoms and were very impressed by Gata's engineering and tech skills.
In Wizard City, Grand Master Wizard was impressed by Gata's magic skills and the way she creatively used them.
Gentleman Wizard was at his home and was not pleased by the outcome since he pretty much hated Gata and blamed her as one of the two things that ruined his life and reputation. The angry wizard also now believed that Mr. White had failed to kill Gata and that there was a very good chance the assassin was no more, since Mr. White had given him a magic piece of paper that looked like a tag that he said was magical linked to him and if anything happened to him, like death the tag would crumble to dust. The tag had crumbled to dust sometime ago, which confirmed Mr. White was dead, which both angered and concerned Gentleman Wizard, who wondered if Gata and her allies now knew who sent the assassin and would come gunning for him.
In the Magician Kingdom, Roger Retinz saw the fight and was fairly impressed by Gata's skills. Gata really was the daughter of the Magician King and Magician Queen. It would be hard for his agents in the Underground to capture her, but it'll be worth it to get into the vault under the Magician Kingdom's palace.
At the Ice Kingdom, Simon saw the fight and was happy for Gata, Jake, and BMO.
"Those three did it. Very impressive. They really earned that wish and I hope they use it to help themselves." Said Simon to himself.
Over in Waterfall at the Lady Lucktopus many watchers were either cheering or booing at the outcome as monsters collected winning or complained about losing money due to the outcome. King Dice oversaw the crowd and outcome of the fight with mixed emotions. The house would indeed get money no matter who won, but King Dice was a bit annoyed that Baal and Aym had lost the tournament even, when they had the help of some powerful demons. King Dice let out a annoyed sigh as he began to try to think of a new way to assist Aym and Baal and get them to make a deal with him, so they and their master would serve King Dice and his master.
In New Home, Spirit saw the outcome of the fight and was annoyed that the Shadow Sirens had failed her and her forces again. Now spoke heroes had gotten the wish and Spirit's forces had suffered a public and humiliating defeat. Spirit was going to have to punish the Shadow Sirens for that and really going to have to do something about those heroes that kept interfering with her and her forces.
Now as the Sibling Showdown played out a far greater battle was going on in another part of Hotland, between Blockner and his troops and the Doctor and his forces.
Blockner was riding the Nuclear Throne with his army and allies marching besides him and behind him. Unbeknownst to the evil knight, Ceroba was following his forces alongside Starlo, Ed, Moray, Ace, Mooch, Ser Manuel, Sly, Quote, and Hekapoo, who had met up with Ceroba earlier and now we're stealthy following Blockner and his army.
"So who exactly is this guy we're following?" Asked Heckapoo.
"That is Blockner and he, Sly, and me use to serve in the Royal Guard together, until he turned traitor and left the Royal Guard to become the leader of a group of mercenaries." Said Ser Manuel.
"Over the years Blockner has served the various factions who were willing to pay him, but when he wasn't working and killing he was searching for a great ancient weapon of immense power. A weapon called the Nuclear Throne." Said Sly.
"Looks like he finally found it and he's up to something." Said Starlo.
"The question is what he plans to actually do with that weapon." Ace.
"You don't think Blockner is going to try and kill Ballos with that thing?" Asked Mooch.
"No I don't think he's heading that way, besides there's nothing to truly gain from killing Ballos except destroying the Demon Crown and putting Ballos out of his misery." Said Ceroba.
"Then where's he going? If he wanted to conquer some place why not the Colosseum of Fools or the Mantis Lords' territory?" Asked Moray.
"Well...I think he might be going after the Doctor and his forces." Said Starlo.
"What makes you think that?" Asked Heckapoo.
"Well Blockner has a throne of power, so he most likely would want a crown to go with it and the Demon Crown will give him more power. Plus taking out one of the factions would cause a splash in the Underground. Word would spread of what Blockner did and his reputation would grown along with his forces. Any of the Doctor's forces that don't get killed in the attack would join up with Blockner and his crew." Said Starlo.
"That is definitely something that Blockner would do." Agreed Ser Manuel.
"So if we follow Blockner's army they'll lead us right to the Doctor and his base. I say we let them lead us to the Doctor's lair and see how things play out." Said Ceroba.
"Sounds like a plan to me." Said Hekapoo.
With that said the little group followed the army.
After a good deal of marching Blockner's forces saw the oasis and the ruins that served as the Doctor's lair in the distance. Blockner pulled out his phone and looked for the Doctor's number in his contacts as he prepared his speech and demands for the Doctor.
At the oasis the Doctor's forces were going about their business either doing actual work or simply messing around killing time. Bandits laid about with regular Mants and the red Warrior Mants. Big Bandit was playing cards with some of his gang, while they watched Furi grow Red Flowers for the Doctor's plan to create a army of powerful loyal soldiers for him to conquer the Underground and other universes. The now mutated form of Serpentine slithered about restlessly wanting something to fight and test his new strength against, while the Beastector, consisting of the trio Lunar, Tarus and Merco stood by and kept a close eye on Serpentine to make sure he didn't try to run off. Inside the base Merak and Balrog sat on a couch playing a video game together and the Doctor was in his lab with Misery and Li'l Miss Marshmallow doing Red Flower experiments on Isaac's mother, Magdalene O. Moriah, otherwise known as Mom.
The Doctor was pleased about his experiments on the captured human. Mom's body had become bigger and bulkier with red and grey skin, with two little curved horns on her head giving her a bit of a devilish appearance. She was still trapped in a cage and kept muttering that she still needed to kill Isaac.
The Doctor really needed to recruit some more warriors or capture some monsters to mutate for his cause. Three of his best warriors that being Endol, Baruda, and Natia, were at the Colosseum of Fools competing in tournaments so he was a bit short staffed at the moment. The Doctor's phone rang and he saw it was Blockner calling, so he answered it.
"Hello Blockner, to what do I owe this call?" Said Doctor.
"I've called to give you a chance. We've worked together for years Doctor and your one of my better clients, so I like and respect you a bit. Now I've come for the Demon Crown, just surrender and hand it over and no harm will come to you or your forces." Said Blockner.
"That's mighty bold of you Blockner. Last I check my forces still outnumber yours and my elites can easily take your people out." Said Doctor.
"That may have once been true, but I have acquired a great weapon of power that I will use to takeover the Underground. Allow me to demonstrate." Said Blockner before he hung up.
Outside the base and oasis the Nuclear Throne charged up it's smaller cannons and they fired spheres of green energy that flew through the air and struck the oasis and the base and exploded loudly. Multiple Bandits, Mants, and Warrior Mants were killed outside the oasis, chunks were blown out of the ruins, and one blast smashed through the base and struck Merak and Balrog's tv destroying it and the game system they were using, much to their dismay and horror.
The Doctor, Misery and Miss Marshmallow heard the chaos and ran to check it out. They along with Merak and Balrog raced out to see the chaos breaking out and saw Blockner on the Nuclear Throne with his army.
"Now that you see I'm a threat, why don't you just do yourself a favor and hand over that crown." Said Blockner from the throne.
"Never! The crown is mine and I won't hand it over to anyone." Said Doctor.
"Then I'll just take it by force! Attack!" Said Blockner to his forces.
"Destroy them all!" Yelled Doctor to his forces.
Both armies charged at one another and met with a mighty clash.
Serpentine roared as he tore through Blockner's Guardians and knocked over Pedro and Meduzi as he made his way to Blockner. Blockner smirked as the Nuclear Throne fired some shots from it's small cannons at the serpent, who dodged the attacks and slammed into the large robotic throne knocking it back. Serpentine and the Nuclear Throne pushed against one another and Serpentine tried to grab Blockner from his seat of power, but Pollution came to Blockner's aid by slamming into Serpentine's side on his motorcycle hobby horse and knocked Serpentine away and onto the ground. The Nuclear Throne tried to stomp on Serpentine, but he rolled out of the way and slammed his tail into the machine knocking it back. Pollution fired a ball of tar into Serpentine's face blinding him and Blockner fired a barrage of boats from the smaller cannons striking Serpentine. The blast exploded and Serpentine fell to the ground dead with most of his body burned to a crisp.
"I do so love the smell of burning flesh in the morning!" Laughed Blockner before he and Pollution joined the main battle.
"It's total chaos down there!" Said Hekapoo as she and the others watched the fight unfold from the top of a large rock.
"What should we do?" Mooch.
"We could just sit back and let them kill each other." Suggested Ed.
"There's no civilians around to get caught up in this fight." Said Moray.
"That may be true for now, but if we don't stop this fight there a chance a madman could get their hands on another dangerous weapon to increase their power and I don't want to see that happen. We need to take one of those fiends out." Said Starlo.
"But which one?" Asked Ace.
"Will go after Blockner since he's the one most exposed right now and would be easier to get to. The Doctor is leading his forces from the rear, so it would be much harder to get to him." Said Starlo.
The others agreed and they all pulled out their weapons. Hekapoo made a few dozen clones of herself and the group charged forward joining the battle.
The members of the Castle Lemongrab team, General Rabbit, Mole Knight, Plague Knight, and Tinker Knight were with Blockner and his forces when they attacked the Doctor's lair, but had not participated in the attack, choosing to stay behind the army and watch how things play out. General Rabbit heard the approach of Hekapoo and her team and turned to see them coming.
"Looks like we have some uninvited guests. I say we step aside and see how Blockner and his lot handle them." Said General Rabbit to his comrades.
The others agreed and they all separated from Blockner's forces to watch things unfold.
Ceroba, Starlo, Ed, Moray, Ace, Mooch, Ser Manuel, Sly, Quote, Hekapoo and her clones joined the battle taking out many foot soldiers out on both sides.
Big Bandit who was blasted a few Guardians with his shotgun saw the newcomers and recognized Starlo.
"You ain't welcome around here lawman!" Yelled Starlo as he blasted at Starlo.
Starlo saw Big Bandit and quickly dove and rolled to avoid getting hit. The lawman pulled out his pistol as he rolled and came up in a crouch as he fired his gun at Big Bandit striking him in the left shoulder. Big Bandit snarled in pain as he reeled back, but quickly managed to raise his gun and fired again at Starlo. Starlo dodged roll out of the way and shot a few Bandits that tried to come to Big Bandit's aid. Starlo got to his feet as Big Bandit tried to get behind him and blast him, but Starlo spun around and shot Big Bandit in the head!
"Son...of...!" Gasped Big Bandit before he fell onto his back dead as a doornail.
Starlo blew some smoke from his gun and then went back to fighting.
Buffammo was charging around the battlefield with his horns down, when Ed stepped into his path. Ed raised his hands and caught Buffammo's horns with them. Buffammo managed to push Ed back a few yards, before Ed twisted his body and used Buffammo's momentum to send him crashing to the ground. The mercenary quickly got to his feet and pulled out his shotgun to blast Ed, but he threw a rock at him and knocked it from his hands. Ed then charged forward and delivered a couple of powerful punches to Buffammo's face knocking him back. Buffammo retaliated and punched Ed in the gut sending him staggering back. The mercenary then tried to hit Ed with his horns, but Ed Sidestepped him and get him in the back of the head sending him crashing to the ground. Buffammo tried to get back up, but Ed kicked him in the head knocking him out.
Ed left the unconscious Buffammo on the ground and some shots fired by some Bandits struck the mercenary and killed him. Ed then began exchanging punches with Tarus.
Gatling Gull was blasting away and taking out scores of enemies with his big gatling gun. Hekapoo rushed at him and as the big mercenary prepared to fire his big gun at her. The magic user quickly made a portal for herself and jumped through it, before Gatling Gull could fire. Another portal appeared next to Gatling Gull and Hekapoo jumped out and kicked the mercenary in the face knocking him back. Gatling Gull recovered and swatted Hekapoo away with a swing of his gun, but before he could fire again he was struck by some cards that exploded that were thrown by Ace and some coins thrown by Mooch that unbalanced the mercenary. Hekapoo took this opportunity to leap to her feet and slash at Gatling Gull with her scissor blades leaving some scratches on the big mercenary. Gatling Gull screeched in anger as he grabbed Hekapoo and hurled her at Mooch knocking the two girls down. The mercenary prepared to blast them, but Ace struck him with his exploding cards and knocked him back, allowing Hekapoo and Mooch to get back up and continue fighting.
Moray sliced some Mants and Warrior Mants to pieces with her sword, before she found herself facing Miss Marshmallow. The robotic servant pulled out her long drill arm and her large claw arm and began to attack Moray. Moray dodged and deflected the blows with her sword as she backed away from Miss Marshmallow. Miss Marshmallow tried to stab Moray with her drill, but Moray sidestepped it and sliced the arm that held the drill cutting it off! Moray then sprung forward stabbing Miss Marshmallow in the chest! The robot reeled back sparking and Moray pulled her sword out. Miss Marshmallow swung at Moray with her big claw, but Moray deflected and launched herself forward swinging her sword and sliced Miss Marshmallow's head off! Moray watched as Miss Marshmallow's head hit the ground sparking and smoking.
"I'm...sorry...master, but...I won't be coming in today for...work..." Muttered Miss Marshmallow as the lights in her eyes went out.
Moray moved on to find someone else to fight. She then faced off against Merco who came at her with his sword and shield.
Quote was engaged in a gun battle with Lunar. The two of them jumped around firing their guns at each other.
Ceroba and Sly fought their way through some enemies, until they found themselves facing Furi and Misery.
"Surrender." Said Ceroba.
"Misery can't do that." Said Sly.
"Oh right, I forgot she has to obey whoever wears the Demon Crown." Said Ceroba.
"Prepare to be made into mulch!" Yelled Furi as she summoned dozens of large thorny vines with her powers.
Sly leaped forward with his enormous sword and sliced the vines to bits. Misery raised her staff and fired some fireballs at Sly, but Ceroba stepped in and countered the fireballs with her own fireballs and they cancelled each other out. Furi let out another yell as she summoned more vines with large thorns on them to attack, forcing Sly and Ceroba to jump around to avoid getting hit.
Merak meanwhile was decked out in his armor and riding his robotic hover chair on a mission to avenge the destroyed tv and game station and had gone after Blockner and the Nuclear Throne. It was Merak's hover chair against against Blockner's throne. A battle of chairs.
"This is for the tv and game station, you destroyed!" Yelled Merak as he fired some missiles from his robotic chair's hands.
The missiles flew towards the Nuclear Throne and Blockner blasted them to bits with the cannons on the Nuclear Throne. Merak charged forward and the right arm of his chair shot out and grabbed Blockner yanking him out of the throne and holding him up.
"Now I got you!" Said Merak.
"No you don't." Said Blockner as he pulled out his gun and shot Merak in his shoulder!
Merak's armor prevented the bullet from piercing his shoulder, but he still felt the impact and it did hurt him making him lose focus and drop Blockner, who landed back on the Nuclear Throne. Blockner prepared to shoot Merak in the head, when someone called out to him.
"Blockner!"
Blockner turned to see Ser Manuel heading his way, with his own gun pulled out.
"If it isn't my old friend and comrade Ser Manuel. I heard you retired and went to live with a couple other old folks. I'm surprised to see you on the field of battle." Said Blockner.
"I may have retired from the Royal Guard, but I'm still a knight and I'm here to take you down." Said Ser Manuel.
"I could just blast you with my big super weapon." Said Blockner with a smirk.
"But then we will never know which one of us is truly the best. Getting rid of me with that super weapon of yours would be very cowardly." Said Ser Manuel.
"I suppose you got a point. Fine. I'll indulge you. Think of it as fulfilling your last request." Said Blockner before he hopped off the Nuclear Throne and faced Ser Manuel.
Merak tried to take this opportunity to blast Blockner, but the Nuclear Throne fired up at him and forced him to retreat a bit. Then Pollution fired some tar balls at him that forced Merak to retreat further.
Blockner and Ser Manuel faced one another and then Blockner raised his gun up and fired. Ser Manuel did a dodge roll to avoid getting hit and fired his gun at Blockner, who raised his armored arms and blocked the shots.
"I see you still use dodge rolls like a coward. You're not as young as you used to be, so your stamina won't last very long and once I hit it'll be game over." Said Blockner.
"And I see you still use blocks and shields for your defenses. Not bad, but that armor will slow you down, take a strain on your stamina, and it isn't completely fool proof. I just have to find the chink in your defenses and exploit it." Said Ser Manuel.
"Will see who runs out of stamina first and delivers the final blow." Said Blockner.
Blockner fired at Ser Manuel, who dodged and rolled to avoid getting hit and get close to Blockner. Ser Manuel reached Blockner and punched him in his helmeted head knocking him off balance. He then tried to shoot Blockner's leg joint, but Blockner knocked his gun to the side and head butted Ser Manuel knocking him to the ground. Blocked tried to shoot Ser Manuel, but the blue knight kicked him in the knee causing him to fall onto his hands and knees. Ser Manuel scrambled to his feet and tried to shoot Blockner in the back, but Blockner spun around and deflected his shot away, with his armor on his arms. Blockner got to his feet and fired at Ser Manuel who dodged and rolled away as he fired back. Ser Manuel continued to avoid Blockner's attacks, until his foot stepped in something black and slippery that momentarily caused him to lose his balance. He managed to right himself, but Blockner shot and struck him in the shoulder making him shout in pain and fall over.
"I have you now!" Said Blockner as he fired more shots at Ser Manuel.
Sir Manuel managed to scramble and roll away, but his injured shoulder slowed him down a bit, allowing Blockner to hit him in the left leg making him shout out in pain. Blockner fired again and struck his right leg making Ser Manuel scream in pain again as he was no longer able to dodge or roll. Ser Manuel tried to raise his gun to shoot back at Blockner, but his enemy fired at him again and struck his left shoulder making Ser Manuel scream in pain again.
"I enjoyed this little game Ser Manuel, but I think we've reached the end now you and I." Said Blockner as he walked towards Ser Manuel.
Ser Manuel gasped in pain and glanced up at Blockner and then past him at the figure of Pollution standing a few yards back. Pollution smirked as he waved his hand showing some black slime in his fingers. It didn't take Ser Manuel long to figure out what had happened. The slippery thing he had stepped and slipped on had been Pollution's doing.
"You...cheated Blockner. Your minion...aided...you." Said Ser Manuel.
"Perhaps, but in the end the one who survives is the winner. I will do whatever it takes to win." Said Blockner.
"You used...to have honor, but you...threw it away." Said Ser Manuel.
"And where has your honor lead to?" Asked Blockner.
"He...who...lives without...honor...will end without honor." Said Ser Manuel as he glared up at Blockner with defiance.
"Goodbye old friend." Said Blockner before he pointed his gun at Ser Manuel's head and fired.
Bang!
Ser Manuel fell back with a hole in his head. He was dead before he hit the ground.
Three people who were still fighting took notice of this. Ser Manuel's old friend Sly and Starlo and Quote who had trained under Ser Manuel long ago. The three of them knocked back any enemy that got in their way as they raced towards Blockner who boarded the Nuclear Throne.
"Blockner, you twisted evil monster!" Yelled Sly.
"Ah Sly, another old face from back in the day. Don't worry, I'll kill you too, so you can join Ser Manuel in the afterlife." Said Blockner with a smirk as the Nuclear Throne fired it's cannons sending balls of energy at Sly and the others.
Sly, Starlo, and Quote dodged the shots. Starlo and Quote shot at Blockner, who blocked their shots with his armored arms and then fired a few shots from his gun at them along with some blasts with the Nuclear Throne's cannons. The heroes dodged the shots, then Pollution charged on in riding his motorcycle hobby horse and flung balls of tar and slime at them, forcing them to dodge about and be careful where they stepped. Merak then flew back onto the scene and fired some missiles from his chair arms that struck the Nuclear Throne and the battlefield. Sly, Starlo, and Quote managed to dodge the projectiles and explosives, but one struck the back of Pollution's motorcycle hobby horse sending the evil being flying through the air.
Sly saw Pollution flying through the air and leaped swinging his sword at Pollution.
Slash!
Pollution's head was separated from his body before he struck the ground.
"You killed Pollution! I will make you suffer!" Yelled Blockner as he fired more shots from the Nuclear Throne's cannons.
Everyone dodged around and Starlo and Quote fired back at the throne, but their attacks did little damage to it. Sly jumped around and sliced at the Nuclear Throne's legs and this did a bit more damage, but not much. Starlo decided to change tactics and pulled out some dynamite he used for larger enemies and to clear rockslides or cave ins. He lite the fuse and tossed the dynamite at the Nuclear Throne the same time as Merak fired some more missiles at it. The dynamite and missiles struck the Nuclear Throne and exploded brightly and most of the the machine was covered in smoke. The heroes and Merak watched as the throne's legs buckled and the machine collapsed to the ground.
"Is it over?" Asked Starlo.
Before anyone could provide an answer, the legs and portions of the Nuclear Throne crumbled away as a bright green glow appeared in the smoke.
"You fools though you could beat me so easily? Think again! Said Blockner's voice from the smoke.
The smoke clear the reveal the seat of the throne was surrounded by green flames, most of the platform was gone except for a small section that had the main cannon in it, and eight black and green serpent-like tendrils poked out of the side of the throne. The remains of the platform were floating and Blockner sat on the the throne with bits of his armor dented and scorched.
"I see you still have a few tricks up your sleeve." Said Sly.
"I'm not the only one who has a few tricks." Said Blockner pointing behind the heroes.
They turned to see that the headless body of Pollution had gotten up, walked over to the motorcycle hobby horse, ripped the metal horse head off, and then placed it on it's body to serve as a new head. Pollution let out a roar as he fired fireballs from the exhaust pipes of his new head at the heroes and Merak forcing them all to dodge about. Blockner struck with the Nuclear Throne's snake limbs and Sly leaped forward and decapitated four of the snake limbs. Sly landed on the ground and watched with both horror and annoyance as the limbs regenerated reforming the heads as the severed heads vanished into green partials.
"You have no hope of defeating me!" Declared Blockner.
Sly gripped his sword as he jumped forward and sliced at four of the serpent heads wildly cutting the limbs to bits, before he lunged at Blockner intending to impale him. Blockner saw the move coming and managed to mostly dodge it, but some of the armor on his right shoulder was stripped off. The villain gritted his teeth in pain as he raised his gun and fired at Sly, but he flipped out of the way. Sly prepared to strike again as the snake limbs on the Nuclear Throne reformed and charged at him along with the other four snake limbs. The old bug warrior sliced through most of the limbs, but a couple managed to get through and strike his body.
"Now I have you!" Declared Blockner as the snake limbs bit into Sly.
Sly felt his life fading and gathered up what strength he had left. With a mighty yell he hurled his sword and sent it spinning at Blockner with incredible speed. Blockner screamed in surprise as the sword struck him in the chest. The blow struck his armor and made some cracks in the chest area, but didn't pierce his flesh. The sword fell off the throne and clattered to the ground. Blockner looked at his cracked chest plate and at the sword on the ground and burst out laughing.
"Your last attack and you failed! I am victorious!" Declared Blockner.
"So...you...think. You're so blind, you don't realize...that you've lost." Chuckled Sly weakly.
"The last words of a dying fool." Said Blockner as he had the snake limbs drop Sly to the ground.
"The rest is up to the...others." Said Sly to himself as he breathed his last breath.
Starlo and Quote who were fighting Pollution saw this and felt their blood boil even more with the desire to defeat Blockner.
"Here partner. I'll deal with flame head, while you go after Blockner. Take some of these to help deal with him." Said Starlo as he tossed Quote some dynamite.
Quote nodded in thanks and raced towards the Nuclear Throne. Pollution tried to fling some fireballs at the robot, but Starlo shot him a couple of times making him stagger back.
"Time to end you you gas guzzler." Said Starlo as he rushed at Pollution.
Pollution tried to hit Starlo with fireballs, but he was too fast. Starlo reached Pollution, but instead of shooting or punching him, he did a flip over the villain and dropped some dynamite right into his exhaust pipes on Pollution's head. Starlo hit the ground with a roll and then spun around and fired hitting the dynamite in the exhaust pipes.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Screamed Pollution before he exploded.
All that was left of Pollution was his torso and his legs that fell backwards onto the ground. Starlo spat on the defeated villain glad he was no more.
Blockner meanwhile had turned his attention on Merak. Two of the Nuclear Throne's snake limbs had shot out and grabbed the arms of Merak's chair restraining him and then brought him close to the throne.
"I'm going to end you then go after the rest of your pals." Said Blockner as the big cannon on the Nuclear Throne began to charge up and then Merak was held out in front of the cannon.
Merak realized he needed to fire his own chair's powerful laser, so he charged it up and the chair's mouth-like parts opened up to fire.
"Lazy Laser!" Yelled Merak as he fired his attack.
The Nuclear Throne fired it's laser and the two attacks met in a mighty clash. Merak did well at first, but the Nuclear Throne's laser was slowly pushing his laser back. It seemed like Merak was going to meet his end, when Quote charged onto the scene firing his gun at Blockner and the throne.
"As if your puny shots could hurt me!" Laughed Blockner as he pulled out his gun and prepared to fire.
Quote ran and took careful aim at Blockner's chest plate and fired.
The shot struck the chest plate, but instead of being blocked or deflected the shot went through and into Blockner's chest!
"WHAT...THE?!" Screamed Blockner in both pain and surprise as blood dripped from his mouth and he looked down at the now bleeding hole in his chest.
Blockner realized in horror that his armor's durability had finally been worn down from all the fighting and he was now very vulnerable. He tried to raise his gun to shoot, but Quote shot him in the his right shoulder tearing through the weakened armor and hitting Blockner's flesh beneath it making him fall backwards screaming in pain. Quote chunked the dynamite at the throne and it exploded on the machine weakening the laser and allowing Merak's Lazy Laser to punch through and strike the main cannon and core of the Nuclear Throne.
"NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Screamed Blockner in both horror and dismay as the Nuclear Throne began to explode around him.
Merak was released by the snake limbs and he quickly flew back as the exploding Nuclear Throne crashed to the ground in a mighty explosion destroying the machine and taking Blockner with it.
All around the battlefield the Guardians began to fade and vanish with the Nuclear Throne gone and no longer powering them. Gatling Gull was still fighting Hekapoo, Ace, and Mooch, when the Doctor suddenly teleported and appeared a few feet from the big mercenary.
"Goodbye." Said Doctor as he blasted Gatling Gull in the chest with a blast of red energy.
The blast went through Gatling Gull's chest and set off the a ammo drum on his back making both it and him explode to bits!
Hekapoo and her allies cringed in horror at this and Hekapoo quickly made some getaway portals for herself and had her remaining clones gather her allies to escape from the scene and return to the Colosseum of Fools.
Pedro and Meduzi saw that the battle was lost and quickly flee the scene before the Doctor or any of his people took notice of them. The duo rejoined General Rabbit, Mole Knight, Plague Knight, and Tinker Knight and they decided to head back to the Colosseum of Fools as well.
The Doctor surveyed the carnage of the battlefield and saw that he had taken a good number of losses. He let out a sigh.
"Just another power struggle and battle in the Underground." Muttered the Doctor as he headed back into his base.
