————3rd Person POV————
Jean Tohsaka backed up from the Assassin, being aware of where she was. "Assassin, what do you want?" She questioned while her eyes darted around the room looking for a door. The only Assassin that was left, was a male who had a black cloak. He didn't seem like he was going to answer the young Tohsaka's question.
A 'ring' went off in Jean's back pocket, making her slightly jump from the sound. She slowly pulled her phone out, being mindful of Assassin. The caller was her father, which had meant that Archer had told him about Assassin. Before she could answer it, a knife went through the phone and hung it on the wall. 'Well my parents aren't going to be happy about this,' she thought staring at her broken phone. She looked around for any type of weapon she could use, since she had no gems and she knew she couldn't win against him in hand-to-hand combat, she had to think of something. A chair was standing not too far from her, which she could use if she could somehow use the strengthening magic she had been working on.
Jean took one step towards the chair, the Assassin took a step towards her himself. Everything was still for a few seconds before she dashed towards the chair, slamming it onto the ground and taking one of the legs apart from the chair. She turned with it ready at the grey-skinned male, the wood being held like a sword in front of her. Assassin brought out his dagger, the blade shining slightly from the lights. The man charged, at a speed that the blue-eyed girl could hardly see. She was barely able to dodge the blow, jumping to the right and nearly losing her footing.
Blue magic circuits traveled up the stick, strengthening it as the young Tohsaka muttered the spell. She narrowed her eyes into a glare as the Assassin walked slowly towards her. 'What am I doing?! He could kill me almost just as easily as Archer,' she thought backing up at every step the man took. "I'm going to ask this once again, what do you want?"
"I've been ordered to kill you," a scratchy voice answered back.
"Kotomine ordered..." she trailed off, she knew that Kotomine was bad but she didn't think that he would ever order her to be dead. She steadied her breathing as she could feel panic rise in her. 'If he was ordered to kill me then I'm definitely going to die. Unless I can somehow get out of here.' Once again, her eyes darted all over the place to look for a way out. "Look, I know you Assassin's are pretty loyal to your Master, but can I just remind you that he just sent the rest of you to die by Rider's hand?" The Assassin stopped moving for a split second, almost hesitant. Which gave Jean the time to run towards a door that she saw not too far from her. However, she felt an excruciating pain in her right shoulder as she moved to the door. She let out a yell of pain, grabbing onto her shoulder tightly almost falling over. She made it to the door, looking behind her she glared.
Her right hand searched for the doorknob, when she found it, she clutched onto it tightly. The Assassin walked closer to her, a dagger in his hand. She flinched slightly before trying to open the wooden door, when it wouldn't she began to freak out slightly. She moved the doorknob continually, however, a small voice in her head spoke out to her. 'Calm down, Jean...' her hand let go of the doorknob. 'Just calm down and let me take care of this...'
Jean Tohsaka closed her eyes slightly, suddenly feeling completely calm. Assassin gave the young woman a strange look before she erupted into a blinding blue light. In the girl's place, stood a woman who looked to be in her twenties. She had short, slightly wavy red hair with fair skin, she opened her eyes to show crystal blue orbs. She wore a black cloak with teal lining, a light blue v-neck shirt, dark blue pants, with black boots that had a light blue rim. A sword laid in her hand as she glared at the Servant in front of her.
The assassin snapped out of his thoughts and charged towards the newcomer. The woman put her blue steeled sword in front of her, she dodged the grey-skinned male easily. As the fight went on, they exchanged blows, the woman fighting more aggressively than the Assassin. Suddenly, the red-haired woman's sword broke, making the dagger of the Assassin go closer to her neck than normal. However, just before it touched the neck of her skin, she deflected it with a spear that appeared in her hands. The new weapon made the Assassin widen his eyes in surprise, even though you couldn't see it because of the skull mask. His surprise made him wide open, allowing the unknown woman to be able to stab the cloaked man. The spear went right through his heart, killing him almost instantly.
The woman's spear disappeared in a blue mist, she looked at her hands. "Maybe I should take her home before giving her full control again..." she muttered to herself. She sighed slightly before running out of the abandoned building, towards the Tohsaka mansion.
In an ally a few minutes away from the Tohsaka house, the black-clad woman stopped. She leaned against the wall after doing a quick look around. She took a deep breath in, calming her mind and getting rid of any other thoughts. "Esrever eht lortnoc," she was surrounded in a blue light, the same light that she had appeared out of earlier. In just a few seconds the Tohsaka girl was back.
Jean collapsed on the ground breathing hard and wincing slightly at the pain in her shoulder. She went to look at the wound, only surprised to find it not there, "What the hell..." she muttered to herself. She shook her head slightly before stumbling to get up, feeling almost drained of mana. She slowly started heading towards her house again.
Tokiomi Tohsaka paced lightly in his room, talking to his wife on the phone. "Where is she, Tokiomi? I had asked you not to involve her in the war."
The leader of the Tohsaka's ran a hand through his black hair, "I didn't, Aoi. My Servant had just taken her with him, while they were out she got taken by Assassin."
"Isn't that Kirei's Servant?"
"Yes, it is," Tokiomi said, his blue eyes glaring down at the carpet. "Don't worry I'll find Jean, I promise." He hung up before releasing an aggravated sigh. The black-haired man went towards his desk, in one of the drawers to get one of his gems to start a locating spell. "Reh Etacol," his hand went over the gem, it lit up slightly but stayed where it was. He raised an eyebrow in confusion before trying to cast the spell again. "Reh Etacol," however the shiny Mana infused gem didn't move a single inch.
A small knock was heard downstairs, Tokiomi grabbed onto his staff in case it was an enemy who had gotten past his barrier. He walked down the steps to the front door, his grip on his staff tightening. He opened the door just a little, letting the person in front of it know to turn around to it. "Jean..." he trailed off looking at his daughter's state. She was bruised and looked to be worn out immensely, he could hardly sense a flow of mana coming from her. He opened the door more, grabbing onto his daughter before she could fall.
He frowned slightly before guiding her inside to her room, knowing that she was too exhausted to talk about what he wanted to now. As soon as the red-haired girl touched the bed, she was out. Tokiomi took a jewel out, raising it above her body to heal her of her bruises and part of her mana depletion. He then left so she could rest peacefully. He went to his office, planning on calling his wife and telling her that their daughter is okay, as well as having a little chat with his apprentice.
"Erwin, watch out!" Jean had involuntarily said.
She looked down to see that she was once again the girl from before. However, this time she was wearing winter clothes and ice skating boots. She looked over to the boy named Erwin, the little boy looked up to his sister. "'Lura, I'm scared," he mumbled, the ice under him cracked slightly.
"It's alright, Erwin. Remember what mom and dad said? Keep calm and point your hands to the ground, focus on your mana. You can do this," Allura said, Jean wanted to frown slightly as she realized that she wasn't controlling her movements. She skated slightly over to Erwin, when she was close enough however, the ice cracked over to her. She looked down worriedly at the ice, before turning to Erwin and smiling, hoping that he didn't see her look of worry. "You'll be fine."
Erwin took a deep breath in before pointing his hands to the ground, closing his eyes tight. Allura did the same on her end, a light blue magic flowed from their fingertips as they tried to strengthen the ice. It strengthened, allowing the two siblings to get to each other and hug. "Come on, we should get back home before mom calls dinner," Allura grabbed onto Erwin's hand, leading them back home.
Jean blinked her eyes, slowly waking up. She sat up, wincing slightly however from how sore she was from, well, she didn't know. "Great...another dream to add onto the list..." she mumbled. She sat on the edge of her bed, looking at the alarm clock and seeing that she was late for school. She raised a slight eyebrow, "I'm at home and dad didn't wake me up...? Something's wrong."
The red-haired girl immediately got up and ran down the stairs, she turned to the living room. But, stopped in her tracks as soon as she saw who was on the couch. Kirei Kotomine. 'What the heck is he doing here?' She questioned herself glaring at the man. Her father who was on the chair turned to her, "Jean, you're awake," he pointed out. "You'll be missing school today."
She nodded, "I kind of put that together considering the time."
"Jean, from now on, you must—" Tokiomi stopped for a second before continuing. "I'll need your help to win this war."
Her blue eyes widened slightly before showing a slightly confused face. "But, father, you had said that you didn't want us anywhere near this war."
"I know what I said, but I misjudged your abilities. I'll need them to win this war."
"Alright, I'll help. I'm not quite sure how I'll be able to get homework done though if I'm supposed to be helping you."
"Just this once I'm allowing you to use magic for your homework, as I'm positive you know the information. However, you can't stay as late as you usually do during school."
"Of course, I completely understand. I will help you with this war," she stated, she then looked towards Kotomine and glared slightly. 'While also keeping an eye on him...'
