-NewGuest123: Yeah, loved Radec and wished he had more screen time, his drip was top notch even for the Helghans. Shame the only decent Radec fic was cancelled, he deserves more love : (.
-The underground tunnel was inspired by the Batcave. I highly recommend you to check out Jericho if you have the time, it's a really good show. Also, Crysis is still a great action shooter and one of my all time favorties.
-AdmiralDan09: Yea, probably going to do something like that in my fic. Glad you liked the snippet.
-I actually have an idea for a SI in the Overwatch AI for Half Life. Secretly helping the human resistance all while under the nose of the Combine Advisors. Funneling them information and using her authority over the OTA to avoid resistance bases and whatnot. With her adding the Overwatch Transhuman Army to the resistance once the uprising begins. I agree the advisors are cool though and I think the overwatch troopers are as well. Spent hours listening to their radio chatter from Half Life 2 online. Still, good idea for a fanfic. Great job!
-KingDiamond55: Pretty much the idea if I ever do the Halo x Kingdom fanfic. With her growing more and more fanatical as the story goes on. I'm planning on having a scene where Mae goes on a tangent to Noa and other apes about Six. Having a look of pure faith, devotion, and loyalty in her eyes as she praises him as more than human. About how she owes him everything and anything to the point she would outright kill herself if he ordered her to do so. Make her kind of as fanatical as a Sister of Battle from 40k.
-SCAF needs more love for sure.
-I actually posted my Starkiller SI fic. Did you check it out?
-TK0421: Yep, Trilla was my favorite inquisitor in the new canon. Way more threatening than any other we got, especially in the rebels show. Planning on having Starkiller confront them at some point or another in the fic.
-Yeah, be more open with those she genuinely trusts. As well as rely on others since she's a child.
-Honestly, I think Mara Jade would be best for killing Isard. As from what I remember, she's more versed in stealth and assassinations than Galen is.
-Glad you liked the snippet. If you have time, I highly recommend you watch it, it's a good show.
-KingTheon722: Pretty much. Just trying to make sure the NCR doesn't make the same mistakes it made in canon. Doing things like you said like preventing the powder gangers from forming.
-Glad you liked the idea! Yeah, one of the perks of being entombed in a nanosuit.
-War Sage: Nice to meet another Jericho fan! Yeah, I loved that show too and was so disappointed it was cancelled after two seasons. Loved it so much that I felt a desire to create a fanfic for it, but felt unsure as to how to do it for a long time. Still am thinking on whether I should make it a crossover with Crysis or another IP. Or make it a SI fic.
-Guest: Trust me, man. Watch it. You won't regret it, it's a genuinely great show.
-NewGuest123: That sounds like a really good idea. Though, don't know if I'll do it though as it pretty much sounds like the SI trying to survive daily in SCP-3008
Halo: A Space Adventure (Halo x Zathura: A Space Adventure)
Summary: Danny finds a Halo board game that turns out to have some... unforeseen consequences. AKA, sending their house into space and attacking their house with elements from the Halo universe. With no other way out, Danny, Walter, and Lisa must complete the game to return home. And maybe, they'll have a little help along the way.
"Let me see!" Walter shouted as he grabbed the card from his six-year old brother beholding holding what the latest turn of the game spat out for them. All the while trying to not think about the fact that their house was being fired upon by a purple corvette.
Rescue stranded spartan!" The eleven-year yelled out as he read the card.
"What stranded Spartan?" Danny asked.
"I don't know!" The older brother snapped. "I guess there's going to be some-"
Before he could continue, a sudden thud on the window next to him caused him to turn his gaze to see what it was. His eyes widening as he saw a nearly seven-foot tall man wearing some kind of power armor painted in dark green splatted upside down on the window. His reflection on the silver visor of the head obscuring helmet that he wore. Still, even without even seeing his eyes, he could tell that whoever it was was staring directly into his soul.
The space ship than past by the house, taking the Spartan with him as he fell out of view. Suddenly, the two boys heard alien speech coming from the Elite minor that was hunting them. Courtesy of the card that Walter drew several turns ago, that being that he was going to stalked by Elite minors for six turns.
Running, Walter and Danny hid behind the sofa, breathing softly as they stared in the doorway in fear as both of them were trembling. Hearing something off to the side, they both turned simultaneously as they saw Sangheili uncloaked right next to them as it powered its energy sword, causing both of them to frantically back into the wall as they tried to get away from it. The Elite stepped forward, relishing the fear it was causing in the two kids as it raised it's plasma sword inches away from Walter's face. Who gulped audibly and loudly as he stared at the blue plasma about to kill him.
The Elite minor let out a sadistic laugh before howling in pain as a knife was stabbed in its back. Falling over dead as the same armored juggernaut from earlier standing in it's place, revealing himself as the killer of the split-lip.
Staring at the body for several seconds as he activated his helmet's dual lamps. He turned to the two boys as he took a three non-threatening steps forward. The kids craned their necks to look at his visor as their shaky breathing filled the room.
"Which one of you spawned me?" The behemoth asked. His voice gravely and low but just high enough to be heard.
"Who was it?" He demanded more forcibly this time after not getting a response.
"Him." Walter said as he pointed towards his little brother.
The armored Spartan squatted as he stared the eleven year old down. "Don't be so quick to sell out your brother, kid. He's all you got." He said before he got back up. The house shaking from another round fired from the Covenant corvette. With the Spartan just standing there with no reaction like nothing was happening even if he was shaken physically by the vibrations of the explosion. With Danny and Walter noticeably flinching as the house violently shook.
"Looks like you got a split-lip problem." The Spartan said nonchalantly as he gazed to his right, as a blue plasma shot burst through the wall and landed a meter away from him, narrowly coming close to hitting his head yet the man didn't seemed fazed by it at all. Like this was just another day in the office for him.
"Yeah, what do we do?" Walter asked. Hoping the Spartan had an answer for them.
"You hide." Was all he said without missing a beat. Grabbing his MA37 that was magnetically locked behind his back before deactivating the lights on his helmet.
"Hide?" Danny asked innocently. "They'll just explode the whole house."
"No, you hide." The Spartan said as he loaded a 40mm HEDP round into the M310 underbarrel grenade launcher in his rifle. Glancing at the youngest in the room and once again not even flinching as the house trembled from the barrage. "Me? I'm going to do what I do best." He continued as he performed a brass check on his weapon system to make sure a round was in the chamber.
"Which is?" Walter asked.
"Kill."
Author's note: So, yeah, don't know how I thought of this but here it is. A crossover between one of my favorite video game franchises and one of my favorite movies from my childhood. If you haven't yet seen Zathura, I highly recommend that you do. Sure, I know some people say it's a Jumanji rip off, but I saw Zathura first so it will always have a special place in my heart. Also, the books were written by the same guy and Zathura is technically a sequel to Jumanji. I still love both of those films, but Zathura is one of my favorites.
Anyways, take care guys, and remember... stay frosty, gents.
